Well. That was it. Chloe laid it all out there for Beca. She tried to be subtle at first with gentle touches, but when Beca shook herself away from Chloe's touch, she had no choice but to tell her she wished she had experimented more. She could quite get out the words "with you," but she obviously was implying that she meant Beca. All she got in response was, "you're so weird" and "I wanna go home." Not quite the reaction Chloe had hoped for. The words were like knives to her heart, Aubrey had warned her, but she could help but lay it all out there knowing this could be her last chance. Now, it took all of her might to not cry herself to sleep. She had played it cool by responding to Beca with a simple, "thanks." Like she was unfazed by the Brunette's reaction. Amy made comments from time to time, convinced early on that there was more that just 'friendship' between Beca and Chloe. She would say how 'cute' they were together or if they gave her a lecture during practice, she'd respond with "yeah, ok, mum's," as if they were a married couple and she was their child.
What had Chloe expected Beca to say? She was still with Jesse. Or was she? He'd been really off since hood night and really anti-Chloe. He knew all along. He's been telling me and I always just blew it off. The signs had been there, Beca felt like she had been slapped in the face. She never listed to anybody because she liked what she and Chloe had, she didn't want things to change, acknowledging the feelings would change things. OMG feelings…Jesse has been right all along. I have feelings for Chloe.
