Dear Diary,

Today we had the hardest training Father has ever put us through. But I couldn't focus on it. All I could think about was Carter. No, all I can think about it Carter.

I don't know what's wrong with me. Ever since we've all lived in the Aqua Base, he's all I could think about. When I'm with him, I feel whole. He's all I've ever wanted. How do I tell him?

I feel like I'm in love with him, but I can't bring myself to tell him. Why?

"Dana?" Dana stopped writing and sat up abruptly at the sound of her name. She looked at the door and saw Kelsey standing there. Dana quickly covered her diary with her sheets and answered Kelsey.

"Yeah?" she asked. Kelsey eyes her suspiciously for a moment.

"Do you wanna go down and get something to eat? I was on my way and wanted to check with you," Kelsey offered. Dana thought about it for a moment.

"Sure," she agreed. Dana stood from her bed and left with her friend.

As the two girls were eating and talking, someone else was looking for Dana. Carter knocked on her bedroom door that she shared with Kelsey. There was no answer, so he opened it slightly and peered in.

"Dana?" he called. No answer. Carter entered the room and walked toward Dana's bed. He sighed. He was about to leave when something caught his eye. What looked like some sort of a bookmark was sticking out from under the sheets. Curiously, he lifted the sheets to see an opened diary. He was about to cover it back up, but then he saw his name. Carter picked the book up and read the page.

"Oh my God," he muttered. Carter laid the book down and hurried out of the room to find Dana. He was walking down a hallway when he saw her with Kelsey.

"Dana!" he called. She looked over at him and smiled, her blue eyes lighting up. She walked over to him and greeted him.

"What's up?" she asked innocently.

"Listen," Carter began, "I know how you feel."

"What?" Dana asked, confused.

"I went into your room to look for you, and I know I shouldn't have, but I saw what you wrote about me in your diary," Carter admitted. Dana's jaw dropped.

"You read my diary?" she exclaimed.

"Yes," Carter replied. "I'm sorry. But was it true?" Dana lowered her gaze.

"I wouldn't have wrote it if it wasn't," she muttered. Carter smiled and lifted Dana's head up with his finger.

"I love you too," he said. Dana smiled and through her arms around Carter's neck, kissing him passionately.

"Carter, I love you," Dana said when she broke away, and then jokingly added, "But never read my diary again or I may just have to hurt you." Carter smiled and kissed her again and the two of them were happy, finally having convinced their true feelings for each other.

A/N: I know, it was a really crappy ending, but that's that. What did you think? I'll create another story soon. An actual story, not a one-shot. lol. Anyway, RR!
