Iodem was wandering Altmiller cave as Babi used to in the days when he was alive. The shadows were long as he moved through them.
Why he was doing it, he wasn't sure. Maybe he needed a walk. Maybe he was reminiscing. Maybe –
Iodem paused as he heard something move behind him. Was that a shuffle of stones underfoot?
Turning around, he saw that there was a Dread Hound behind him.
It crouched down low and leaped.
When it was nearly upon him, a spire fell from the roof and killed it.
Iodem ran without looking back or wondering how.
Bleh, don't like the last two lines.
Well, I'm gonna be continuing this fic but on another fic since these will only be drabbles here and I want to use more words. Heh. ;)
