Summary: Calleigh's father is killed by a drunk driver, H has to tell her, etc…
Calleigh was, along with the rest of the team in their respective labs, busily working her cases in her ballistics lab when she was told by a lab tech that she was needed in Horatio's office. She put her things away and made her way to her lieutenants office. She climbed the stairs cheerily and knocked on the open door,
'Hey Handsome, what's up?', she greeted, Horatio looked up from his desk with a solemn look upon his features,
'come in Calleigh', he replied as he stood up, 'you may want to shut the door', he told her, Calleigh realised something was wrong and so shut the door, 'Have a seat Calleigh', he asked her more than told, she walked over to the chair in front of his desk and sat down, Horatio then sat down.
'Horatio, what's wrong?', she asked him, confused by his tone and actions,
'Cal, I…I have some bad news', he told her, Calleigh took a breath and looked at her hands, she then looked back up into his eyes,
'what is it?', she asked him nervously,
'umm, your, umm, your father', he started, ' he was umm, he was involved in an accident Cal', he told her, trying to keep his voice from breaking, he knew her heart was going to break when she realised what he was telling her. A look of worry came across her features, and she brought her hand up to her mouth. He could see thoughts running across her eyes, worst case scenarios, her hope that he wasn't hurt too badly. He hated to dash that hope. 'He died on the way to the hospital, Cal, I…I'm so sorry', Calleigh remained quiet while she processed this. She didn't see Horatio get up and come over to her, he knelt down beside her and tipped his head to catch her eyes.
A/N: ok, I know its short but its just gettin started, i wrote this ages ago, lol, on the train to Liverpool, it's written as an Horatio/Calleigh fic, but if ther is alot of reviews wanting Eric/Calleigh i suppose i cud change it, i do however have an idea in mind for another eric/cal yay lol, so review, lemme know wat ya think of this so far, an which u think it should be, i could EVEN do calleigh/timmy if ya wan ? lol, review lemme know, luv CalleighRox xxxxx
