I closed my eyes and I didn't see you
You kept pulling me towards you, but my mind was going the other way
The farther I went the harder my eyes turned red
You tried to clear them up but they turned into a scarlet color
My arms exceeded me in getting to you but no feeling was felt
At night, I saw your face next to me
Horrified and shocked I'd close my eyes only to see you again
This time with cuts on your arms and legs
Feeling deathly ill made me throw up through you…

The covers were red from where you spent your last moments
