Azure King: Finally my massive update manage to make me to do another chapter on this sorry for the wait. Its the second chapter to go where I left off that got me a bit of a late show here. But I hope that its worth as I love the series, please review for me as its my B-Day today.

CHAPTER START~!

It was a somber cloudy morning as the light shadows of grey covered sky greeted the day… normally this would be a omen for some but not all~

From the previous night the two killers/assassin's were still in their same spot softly snoozing in peace from the almost death of Maki. The duo continued to sleep in peace but didn't feel a shadowy presence walking to them as a malicious smirk spread over their lips... raising an item that was pointed to them… it was time~!

...

"Wake up~!" BWAAAAA! "TIME FOR SCHOOL!" BWAAAAA!

"AHH~!" Both assassin's stood up saluting subconsciously from their hellish training when they heard the sudden loud noise of an air horn. Both realized their location and sighed as if it was just their childhood friend, Yuna, giggling mischievously as she waved at them. "Hey~ and whoa who got poisoned?"

Maki raised her hand when Yuna saw the vials and her weakened state, "Me, now can you kindly get me an IV bag with saline? God I get dehydrated whenever this happens." The crimson themed girl said as Yuna went to the kitchen to do so. Maki gave a soft smile to her only friend since she was placed in this orphanage. Her mind trailed to thinking of the particular member of the trio.

While the other children were adopted and left their orphanage, only Yuna stayed behind as she couldn't let the two people who gave her a normal life to suffer alone. While not an assassin herself, she does make sure to keep them at tiptop condition by making sure to have the necessities in stock. "What happened to Maki-chan? You usually never get poisoned unless it's absolutely necessary." The third caretaker of the orphanage asked, knowing the one who usually gets hurt is the Shinobi of the duo.

Helping Maki move to the kitchen Naruto spoke, "I made a mistake-" "We…" Naruto looked to see his partner looking at him with a stern look… before nodding at her addition. The girl never let herself or Naruto take the blame for something even if it was true. They were partners and that meant they live or die together, they win and lose together. "We made a mistake in not double checking if the target was actually the one we silenced. And she tried to poison Maki."

Yuna turned as she had a IV bag with the correct vein and syringe to give to her friend, "You know I should be the Ultimate 'Keep your butts not dead' student." She mused as she got the medical equipment ready and slowly injected it into Maki's arm. "Alright keep it in during breakfast." The cheerful girl said as Maki nodded reluctantly… before 'epping' when Yuna's clenched arm made the red clad girl gasp in pain. "I didn't hear you~" With an all too sweet smile she said as Maki nodded to her.

"I'll keep it in!" She complained when Yuna let go of her arm, "You're lucky I don't kill you when you do this to me." Maki mumbled patting her arm from the grip.

"Thanks Yu-chan." Naruto smiled as Yuna beam at him with a radiant smile, no doubt ready for the day she has been ready for.

Today was the day Naruto and Maki entered Hope's Peak Academy, the school where the Ultimates of humanity's hope shine best at. Although it was mostly for them to have an easier time to blend in the crowd… like being so famous no one would expect the two were highly trained killing machines. It was by pure luck that Naruto was able to pull strings on how he got Maki to be the 'Ultimate Caretaker' despite their real skills. "So pancakes?" Maki's voice cut Naruto's deep thoughts.

Naruto shook his head when a bunch of kids were setting up the table as Maki was helping Yuna who turned back when she had a skillet on, "What?"

"I said pancakes ok?" She said before looking at Maki, "He ok?"

The red dress girl shrugged as she added white flour into the bowl, "He might be thinking of my title."

Yuna gushed as she playfully pushed her hips to Maki, "I heard~ Ultimate Caretaker~ ehehe you are so cute when you pretend to hate the kids." She said pinching the pig tailed girl cheeks as she snarled when slapping Yuna's hand away. But she gained a look of confusion, "But why did you get a normal one and not Naruto?"

The young man moved from behind them as he stood beside them cutting some fruits, "Unlike Shinobi which people see in a romantic manner or cool way of fighting, this can be just a way for people to think I just train or use my skills to spy. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm really a killer, an assassin is impossible to turn it around."

Maki nodded as she turned on the stove as the pancake batter was ready to cook, "Ok, just be careful you two. The last thing I need is to get an industrial strength hydrogen peroxide… again." She muttered watching Naruto plate up the pancakes with whipped cream and fruit, while serving them to the kids. "Also don't worry about staying over at the school until Sunday, the… group…" She whispered as the two members noticed her slight hesitation on the word she said.

The cult was something they were never going to get over, they always made sure to make Naruto and Maki do their work well. But the young man shook his head, "I'll drop by," He said looking at Maki with a knowing look in his eyes about his unique power to do so. "I don't trust them alone with you."

"You don't really have to-" Yuna started as the young man looked back after giving the last plate of food to the children.

"It's fine, really." Naruto raised his hand to cut her off from talking any further. "Besides I need to drop by to see Mary to get my missions, although we're not going to get them since me and Maki did a lot of kills before school started. They need the other agents to keep up with our numbers or else people's heads will roll." Naruto smirked as Yuna comically gulped at the mention.

"Understood!" Yuna squeaked with a comical furious nod.

Maki sighed while she comically bonked Naruto with a hot frying pan, "Stop it, she's isn't used to your morbid jokes." She ordered as the young man patted his head from the hot sensation of the cooking utensil.

"That hurts! ….and burns… wait, is my hair on fire?!" He said, patting his head frantically. There was heat, but not feeling any embers burning his skin. "Okay… it's not lit…"

"Eat…" Maki muttered when she passed Naruto his own food, "We still need to talk to Jin Kirigiri." She mentioned. Naruto agreed to that and with that man, he will need the energy.

"I hope everything goes well…" Yuna said with hope in her eyes, these two sacrificed so much for her sake and the kids, they need hope in their lives.

"Don't worry. I have a feeling it will." Naruto nodded in assurance.

The two were jumping from rooftop to rooftop as they continued on their way to school, "So there it is…" Maki stated when they stopped to see a large school building, "Hope Peak's Academy."

"Whew…" Naruto whistled, examining the building. "It's larger than I expect it would." He commented with a hand shading his eyes.

"Remember the order," Maki reminded Naruto about the real reason they joined, "We're looking for the cult target. It's said that it be here during our time attending."

"Right. Gotcha." Naruto nodded, before grinning slightly, "Well then, shall we?"

The two quickly dropped to the ground, Maki using her grapple gun while Naruto ran down the wall of the building. Reaching it they quickly enter the school, moving over the closed gate, despite it being the first day of school. The orientation doesn't start until the afternoon, granted its only to explain to the students about their huge amount of freedom.

"Ah~" The two quickly got into fighting positions as they heard an amused voice echoing in the air. There from their sight was a gentleman who wore a white tuxedo, with a green undershirt and black vest top, with a blue, almost gray tie. He also wore a white hat with a black decoration going around the circumference, near the flappy bit. Naruto took note of his looks, due to the mistake last night he made. The man was a relaxed-looking man with blue eyes and ragged blond hair. He has a pencil-thin mustache and goatee. "So you two are the 'special cases' that Jin-kun we're telling me about."

"And if we are?" Maki asked rhetorically, her fists clenching with tension.

"Whoa missy, was just making sure," He eyed her carefully as he lost his smile. "Yup, definitely an assassin," Before he turned to Naruto and nodded. "And you're the Shinobi…"

The two didn't lose their tension as the man chuckled, "Ahaha… sorry, for that." He generally sounded sincere as he scratched the back of his head, "Since you're at a disadvantage I'll explain who I am. Name's Koichi Kizakura, I'm a graduate of this school."

Naruto and Maki didn't move as they still kept their stances. The man sweatdropped at the tense scene, before lifting his arms in a way to show he wasn't armed, "Come on, you can relax. I'm not gonna bite." The man now known as Koichi assured.

However the three heard another voice filled with authority, "Koichi-san, you should have waited for me." The man said he walked towards the three. The two teens knew who this man was, The Headmaster of Hope's Peak. Jin Kirigiri is a man in his late thirties. He has dark purple hair and eyes resembling his daughter's. He wears a black suit with a purple tie.

"Ah~ crap, my bad." Koichi laughed sheepishly.

The headmaster sighed as he gained a small sweatdrop, being friends with this man for many years was something he was happy for… but at time's he was quite dense or at times just childish. "You'll have to excuse Koichi-san. He… gets a bit over excited sometimes."

Maki nodded before lifting her hand to gestured to Naruto, "I completely understand, I have a 'Koichi' of my own," "OI~!" The female assassin almost would have smiled, but continued to say, "Back to being serious, we thank you for taking interest in our Talents." She bowed as the two killers were told to do.

"Of course. The honor is all ours." Jin said, before standing to the side, and gesturing to the school. "Now if you'll please follow me, we can officially get things started."

The teens followed the man as he gave a small rundown of the school, but they ignored it knowing ahead of time and just kept tabs and notes on possible places to go and use for escape or killing spots.

"So as you know, we have chosen Students from all over the world if their talents are indeed the best, from everyone else. We have at least new talents or recurring every year," Jin continued on not realizing that Naruto and Maki did not hear him as they were busy with looking around the area, "Also that you two are in a cult of killers."

THAT made them stop to a halt, as the man also did, "Oh? Are you listening now?" He said in his tone, having a bit of an amused tone, "Wanted to make sure you weren't distracted."

Naruto stared at the man cautiously, "You… know about us…"

Jin smirked as he looked at his colleague, "Should that be surprising to you? One thing about me is that I used to be part of a family of detectives. While I never went that route, I have prior training," He explained before mastering his facial expression to look stoic. "I know you two are forced to work for them for the orphanage, so I promise you this. You do not harm my students, and I will overlook that little detail."

Naruto and Maki looked at each other, staring for what seemed like an eternity before looking back at Jin. "Deal." They both said in unison.

"Very well, since we are being candid I will drop the usual shtick I have for the school," He stated as he pulled them and Koichi to the classroom. When they all settled in he spoke, "I need you two for your abilities, normally I wouldn't have such dangerous talents in my school. But I would be lying as Talents must be nurtured, but for you two I believe it would be good to have around." He stated as the two killer's took a seat on the desks.

The blonde Shinobi style assassin lifted his head at the odd offer, "What another killing job?"

The man waved off the suggestion slowly, "Oh no, no, no. Nothing of the sort." Jin waved his hand. "Rather, I wish you to protect the students. This year students have a certain… talent that would make things rather problematic if harm came towards her. So you two are to be students and protect her, I shall allow some privileges only granted to you two if you take this." He explains, barely, as the two teens look at each other at the rather loosely told mission.

"Who is this 'her' you're referring to?" Maki inquired about the man.

Jin did not speak as he stayed silent, "I cannot divulge that information until I have your word that you will not harm her and take this mission." He coldly gave his word as the two felt a bit trapped, indeed if they take this it would make the mission easier to handle. But if one day the girl was to be a target then they have to break it… and lose everything they made for.

"You got us by the balls." Naruto chuckled at the clever man, "You made us come to this school, knowing it would be the one of the few locations the Cult or the other agents would bug. Then tell us you know about our little job." He started as Maki's eyes widened when finally catching up at the suggestions.

"Thus letting you tell us about the job, so in case we do take it your student is safe, but if we don't and have to take action…" She too smiled at the crafty ability that this man had, "Amazingly, I didn't think an adult was going to take it seriously eventually.

Koichi from the side chuckled, "Yup that's Jin for ya." The lax man chuckled. "The man might have never been an official sleuth but he is one all the same."

"Naruto…" Maki asked from the side worried on how to move forward on this. It was easy to kill this man if need be, but at the same time this was one of their major tasks to do the mission. While the young man just took a moment to think about the possibilities of the deal.

He isn't a real genius but even so he wasn't one to overlook for street smarts or his very good intuition. If he takes this deal he will be honor bound to keep his word to the very end. No matter how degrading it might become later in the future, he has to see it through.

"…Maki calls the religious sociopaths… Whoops, tautology!" Naruto chuckled as Maki rolled her eyes at the bad joke.

The young girl took out an old school flip phone as she dialed a number, before placing it on the desk to show it was on speaker, a dark voice came from it as both Jin and Koichi paled at the sound from it. "Why have you two called me if you aren't doing your jobs?" Naruto glared at the phone but kept his mood even, so he wouldn't disrespect the man who can take away the two homes and children they cared for. He turned to see Maki incredibly scared clutching her arms together as he knew the leader had a personal hand in making sure each of his assassins knew never to go against him. Naruto had to spend a month in recovery from what he did to him...

"With all due respect, there's been a… recent development that came on short notice."

"Then kill everyone in the school if need be, as long as the objective is clear… otherwise that girl Yuna will be the first to die." The leader started asking the whole room to feel the impending doom.

Naruto lifted a hand to stop Maki who was about to scream out, "If you allow me to speak, it would be best if we do not do this." He started as the silence caused them to hold their breaths.

"Explain…"

Naruto saw Maki gain a look of relief from the possibility of not going crazy in a school, "We're given a chance to find the enemy you wish for us to kill, in exchange for us looking, we can-"

*Tap*

"…" Naruto actually gulped at the sound of it. This was already turning for the worst.

"Uzumaki, I don't appreciate you taking time out of my schedule. Maki… place a bolt in his kneecap for-"

Naruto couldn't let that happen, he needed to go broke for this. "Leader, think about this! If we stay and keep an eye out for the enemy and keep the students safe, I can use some of their abilities to help the cult!" He rapidly shouted as Maki already armed herself in case it fails.

"…hmm, in that case, what will you need from me?" The voice sounded pleased with the tone.

"No killing of the other students except the one you need from us. Daily reports so you can allow us to-"

"Enough…" The Shinobi stopped as the leader made a humming sound from his end. "Allowed, Maki… shoot his Gluteus Maximus… and don't call unless it's the mission being clear. Amber Fox… Red Hood… also hello Jin, Koichi… tell your daughter hello~"

Jin's eyes widened as he rushed to the phone, "How-?!"

*CLICK!*

"Goddammit…" Jin slumped his shoulders with his head down, Koichi's eyes flared at the device, losing any amusement that was happening from the scene.

Naruto sighed and smiled at Jin, "Well don't-" he stopped as he saw both males holding guns at him and Maki, their humor and facade dropped, revealing their true natures. "Maki?"

"Hold up, aiming at your ass." She deadpanned as the young glared at her comically.

"Wait, hold-"

*BANG!*

"Oww! With a rubber bullet!?" He shouted as he made his hands clutch on the painful area, "Why?"

She shrugged before loading a new magazine as she pointed at the men, "So why now?"

Jin glared at her before looking at the phone, "Who was that?!" He yelled as the headmaster shouted, "How does he know I have a kid!?"

The two teens looked at each other, "We don't know…" they said together as the red clad girl spoke, "He always seems to have tabs on just about everyone."

Naruto nodded to that, "We tried tracking him and suddenly boom! Nuns and dynamite…" He said as the two adults looked confused, "In order for us to stop searching for anything about him, the man somehow arranged for a can full of dynamite to almost a bus full of young nuns… still… don't know how he did that."

Maki nodded as that whole thing was odd, "To be honest, we're not sure if it's a male. Sometimes it's a young woman calling. Other times, the voice is distorted so we can't tell who. Either way, they don't want to be found."

Jin didn't lower his gun… but Koichi did, "Wait Jin, look, the man made them unable to harm any students. If we try anything, my instincts say we're going to pay that price…" before leaning towards his friend, "Or god forbid Kyoko will."

The headmaster agree as he nod to that agreement, "Very well," He placed the weapon on the desk next to the cellphone…or where it was as it was missing, "How-"

Naruto snorted as he spoke, "Yeah that happens, we get a new one in the mail in like a day." He chuckled, clearly impressed at the skill to do that, "The guy reminds me of my old teacher, can never tell what was his face." He then gained a serious look, "So can we discuss what we were supposed to, now that we are passing so much crap now?"

"Very well, like we discuss in your letter to school, Naruto will be known as the Ultimate Shinobi." Jin started before his eyes landed on Maki, "Unfortunately despite you being the only one to be given the Ultimate Assassin in this school, we cannot allow that title to be given to you as the amount of parents and other students that help pay for this school would likely back out. So only a few faculty members would only know your true title, thankfully you're going to be given a pseudo title, Ultimate Caregiver." The headmaster of their school explained as Maki stared at him, feeling her eyes boring a hole to him. "Is something wrong?"

"How can I be sure that no one can try to investigate, aren't their Ultimate Spies, Sleuths, Hackers and the like?" The Ultimate Assassin asked the man who nodded to that argument.

Jin pulled out a small folder from the inside of his jacket, passing it to Maki who opened it to see the papers inside, "That is the only record in the whole school, the research I put in and the knowledge that a few other graduates I trust my life with only knows as well. They can be trusted even under the threat of death." He explained as Maki nodded and gave it to him only for the man to shake his head, "Burn it."

The two killers seem slightly shocked at his request, "Why?" Naruto declared as Jin leaned back on the wall.

"Think of it as a way for us to make a good start to our relationship." He admits as the man looks at them sincerely. "Well?"

"I'll keep them, I'd rather make sure to keep this and make sure not to make the same mistakes on repeating them. If some Ultimates were able to find me." She said with an amused smirk across her face, "Is that all?"

They shook their heads as the headmaster pointed to the door, "You can look at the school until the orientation happens." He said as Naruto lifted his hand, "Yes?"

"What do we do for that?" He wondered if it was even necessary to even go if the classes are technically not needed. Hope's Peak only teaches their students to a minimum as they rather let them focus on their skills. The few who don't want to make their talent into a career take school extra work so they can do something else, although it doesn't happen often from what they learn.

Koichi chuckled at that, "Sure if you want to miss the huge party~" He said with a smirk as Naruto eyes widened at that mention, "Oh yeah kid, we got food, games and hot girls- GAH~!" He shouted comically when Jin (and Maki) teased him with a deadpan expression on their faces. While on the floor he lifted a shaky thumbs up, "It's awesome…"

The young man turned to Maki who huffed, "No…" She said before the blonde could even speak, "We aren't staying for a party if it's not needed." She declared before slightly losing her will when Naruto eyes became puppy-dog-like. "Ah no! No, I won't let it beat me this time."

"C'mon you nearly died, if anyone needs one you do. You cannot say you're completely recovered from being poisoned." He said in a serious tone as the girl brushed her pigtail with her hand, her usual look of defeat or weakness. "See? Yuna is still taking care of the kids, so what if we don't have a big ceremony or long speech it's the same length of time."

The girl didn't seem convinced as she mumbled, "But it's not fair we get-"

"I know, but we can at least bring back lots of food for the kids." He offered as the girl sighed, before nodding at his reasoning. "Alright let's go~" The Shinobi said as the girl followed him out of the class, but Koichi smirked towards Jin.

"So are you really letting her stay despite the fact she's a killer?" The former Ultimate Scout stated as he knew personally how the girl worked. She was broken beyond repair, she killed almost as easily as he could drink expensive wine. Jin would know that since he pays for most of his tabs in bars, but in all seriousness despite him being nice to kids he didn't feel completely ok with the girl.

The man hummed at his long-time friend's inquiry, "I do admit I am taking a chance. But…" He looked at his phone to show a young girl no more than five smiling at the photo. "Some people should be given a chance to have better lives."

Koichi sighed as he knew what Jin was thinking, "Its' not your fault, its that son of a bitch-"

"Enough, let's get the cotton candy cannon ready." Jin sighed, he still cannot believe he signed off on that from the student council, he really needs to have a better assistant than Koichi who thought it would be fun to see.

"Oh yeah~! Let's get the absinthe out and make boozy Cotton candy!" He said with a pump of his arms on the idea.

Yeah…he really needs to check before he allows things Koichi gives him.

LATER, HOPE'S PEAK GROUNDS

XXXXXXXXXX

Naruto and Maki watched from above the building as the speech of the school happens, "I don't see any targets that might be our kill." Maki admitted to Naruto using a scope to look at the crowd, "Then again they're all so unique it's hard to tell if they aren't all the target,"

Naruto sighed at that, in truth he was hoping to find the target soon and take their time to kill him to have a sort of vacation. "Usual personality, no need to keep a mask for the years we'll have to keep it."

"Understood." Maki nodded, slightly happy to not try to be someone that she isn't.

Watching the teen below suddenly playing and eating food stalls that just appeared out of nowhere, "Finally let's get down there. We have a few hours to kill until dinner happens." Naruto said as he and Maki sneakily jumped down the building without anyone noticing. "And… try not to stuff yourself." He cautioned.

The young man watched as the girl vanished into the crowd, while he just went around. Taking notes on certain students, "Holy crap that shrimp can eat!" He said pointing to a dark skin girl practically shoveling down all the food into her mouth. He turned to see a shrine maiden who was doing a traditional dance.

Every time he turned around or something was in his eye view, it was almost amazing to see. This really is a place of ultimates, "I don't eat them cause they're shape like dinosaurs, I EAT THEM BECAUSE THEY FUCKING CHICKEN NUGGETS!" Naruto turns to see a teen screaming at a smirking friend of his as Naruto chuckles at the outburst.

"Yes, you are there! With sunny hair!" Naruto turns to see a pink haired girl holding a horn? "Yea you~ looking all fly in that get up~" She said with a...he was thinking New York accent given on her words seem to be given that sound. "So mind helping moi on somethin'?"

"Yeah-" He stopped as the girl placed the horn in his face, it was one of those old fashioned hearing aid horns.

"WHAT?!" She shouted as Naruto spoke slightly louder into the thing she held up.

"Yes, can't you hear me?" He asked as the woman giggled giving him the 'ok' sign.

She did a small tapdance as she spoke, "You're bound to get a hearin' abnormality or two when you get a big band blaring music in your hearin' ear every night!" She lifted her hand to the Shinobi, "Names Toya Imamura, Ultimate, or rather Former Ultimate Boardway Dancer~! Just graduated and all that jazz!" She said, smiling at the young man. "Just need ya for a quick mo~" She then pulled on his hand as she whistled loudly as they were surrounded by musicians. "HIT IT BOYS~!"

She winked at Naruto as she mouthed out 'have fun~' "You have a dream~!" she started twirling around Naruto as she lifted his arm playfully. "You wish to tell~" In a quick moment she spun Naruto's hair with one of her fingers as she looked at the crowd. "And it's laughable but 'hey kid?' what the hell~!?" With surprising strength she lifted Naruto who smirked and flipped as he landed next to her copying her tapping dancing enjoying her wild smile on finding a talented partner. "'Cause you're one of a kind, A charming boy as well! Now, let's give these new kids a place to dwell. Take it, boys!"

She said snapping her fingers to make the music more livelier as the students all started to cheer. "Inside of every student is a lost cause~ (Ha)" The girl said with a chuckle as did her band with Naruto giving a thumbs up to the truth of what she said. "But we'll dress them up for now with just a smile (Wicked smiles~)!" Placing a bowler hat and some suit coat on top of Naruto's head and shoulders she leaped to the air. "And we'll chlorinate this cesspool With some old redemption flair And show these simpletons some proper class and style Class and Style! (Oh!)" She and Naruto danced arm and arm as she pointed to the students as she let go of the blonde while spinning in place, "Here below the ground, I'm sure your plan is sound They'll spend a little time Down at this Hazbin-"

BOOOOOM~!

Naruto blinked as he pointed to something approaching him quickly, "Is that a giant ball of cand- OOFFF~!" The blonde shouted when he was hit with the object while flying away from the girl.

"Well damn...that ruins my big number…" The Dancer pouted to see Koichi having a manic look as he held a giant cannon cocking the weapon like a shotgun.

"Whohohoho~! That was awesome! Jin give me some more sugar!" he said, waving the invention around as Jin pinched the bridge of his nose. Time to get the Medical Ultimates out...again…

"...Why does this cotton candy taste weird?" Naruto said as he rubbed his chest from when after he finished flying from being hit with the weapon. While it left a small bruise that was really stupid, who in their right mind make a candy cannon? "Actually that sounds pretty cool for the kids." He admitted watching the crowd until he saw a familiar girl in red. "Maki?" He said watching her looking at another Ultimate Student who was dancing in front of a giant tv where arrows were going up with 'Perfect' or 'great' was appearing. "What's this?"

The girl shrugged as she spoke, "Some sort of dance game, looks…dumb." She puffed out her cheeks as Naruto gained an interested look at that reaction. "You done?" She asked as Naruto smirked at her. "What?"

"Wanna try?" He asked as the girl looked away, "C'mon we can at least do it together." The teen shinobi said, taking a step forward as Maki did the same, "Ooh! We got a new challenger!" He said as Maki turned back with killer eyes when she realized he tricked her, still standing and made her go alone! "Ohohoho…I'm going to pay for this!" Despite his words he was seriously happy when two Ultimates dragged her to the front.

"I'm so going to kick your ass!" She vowed before reaching the second, she looked down to see the same arrows that were on the screen were on the floor. "Must be a rhythm game." She saw her opponent, the same girl who was winning so far, wave at her kindly.

"Heya, my name is Maiko Kagura, Ultimate Dancer. This game just makes it easier for you to beat me. You can choose-" she stopped as she saw Maki choose the hardest difficulty for her level, Ultimate Dancer. Maiko seemed a bit shocked, "O-Oh wow, another Ultimate Dancer?"

Maki shook her head as she turned to speak, "I'm the…Ultimate Caregiver," she said as Maiko seemed ok before smiling wide.

"Ok! So we're going to play, so if you win you get this prize for all you can eat ice cream." She said as Maki's eyes perked up at the prize, a simple coupon voucher. "So since you chose my level you can win if you are able to keep up with me in the end. If you stop or your meter hits zero, you lose. Ready?" She said as Maki nodded as the girl started the music as the screen counted from zero.

Oooooh! I think you're crazy!

Maki immediately made a bad start as she tried to copy the arrows as best as she could, realizing her timing was way off and from a 70% bar it dramatically went down to 50! Quickly fixing her style she was able to keep from falling lower but soon more misses came. As she continued this pace she was steadily losing ground as she saw the crowd behind her…glaring at them for laughing and mocking her. But stopped when she saw Naruto cheering for her.

"You got this Maki-Roll!" He joked as the girl felt her face heat up before snapping her sights to Maiko who was easily nailing the game. Then it hit her, watching Maiko steps was almost like…her basic training for Silat training!

Maiko saw from the corner of Maki who was copying her, wait no it was copying! Maki was doing martial arts that were doubling as dancing, she grinned wide as she could start to kick it! The Ultimate Dancer flipped on her hands as she continued to breakdance while Maki seemed to continue with her style!

So crazy boy

The two ended as the song concluded with Maiko doing a handstand while the assassin girl's feet stood apart as she lifted her hand as if wielding a gun. The results were in…she lost having at least a pretty big gap in their score, but she made it through the song. Looking to see Maiko shaking before pushing off the ground and lifting her arms, "That was so lit! I never had someone keep up with me like that! You should use that cool way of dancing with me sometime!" She grabbed the red theme girl by the shoulders, who in question looked disturbed.

"Uh…" she looked at Naruto who was wiping an imaginary tear for Maki's new friend, glaring at him as she returned her gaze to the Ultimate Dancer. "I'll think about it, my job as a caretaker is often busy. But may I have that ice cream voucher?" She asked as the girl kindly gave it to her.

After receiving it the two assassins left as they smiled, "Told ya," Naruto started as the girl made a soft sound almost amused at his word. "I-" He was about to continue his words until they looked at their phones as they took it out. "..." He noticed that it wasn't from their leader nor the cult members, it was text with class and number.

Maki looked at Naruto as she lifted her hand, holding her phone, "Class 77-A" It read while Naruto showed his to her, "Class 77-B" The two only nodded in a serious manner as now they were no longer going to work together, but it allows them to have an excuse to separate and do individual work. But she walked on ahead, "Come on, we got to get the kids."Maki smiled as the young man returned the gesture walking with her back to their home to give the kids and their friend something good to eat.

As they walked away they didn't notice a young girl looking in shock as she saw the teen male walking away from Hope's Peak, "Naruto...sama?"

CHAPTER END

AK: Before you ask some the characters I used from fan made characters on fan-projects like DanganRonpa Re:birth, they are not part of the story just fun little cameos if people who enjoy the series and follow them before they stop. Anyway as you noticed both Naruto and Maki are indifferent classes him joining Chiaki's while Maki joins her own canon class who are in the same year. Hope you all like it, and if you can guess who that girl was at the end gets a cookie and two questions for the correct answer~
