Naruto was sitting alone in his class as many others in his grade were chatting with others or left to meet with their friends in other classrooms. Soon he was drawing in his notebook that Konan bought for him, he wasn't like most kids in the school. While he does come from a unique family, a criminal syndicate, but he was still in a loving one.

He already knew the dark dealings his father had to take over from his deceased mother, who died due to a killer. He was in many ways forced to grow up despite being a young age at this point. He started to draw a cute anime character, that was inspired by some of the things he got into lately. As he was about to get the basic clothing done, the door to his class room slammed open loudly.

"NARUTO~!"

Rias, his best friend since they were kids, in their first year as elementary school she was always there for him no matter the time or place.

He turns to see a red haired girl, smiling as she walks towards his disk holding lots of school bread for him. "I went to the highschool for girls nearby and pick up our favorites!" She excitedly shared to him, as she opened a cream roll for her to cutely bite into. Naruto gave a small smile to the young girl, "And pick up your favorite milk tea."

The young heir to the Yakuza clan, smiled even wider as he indeed saw a can of 'Royal Milk Tea' next to the mountain of bread. He typically prefers freshly brewed royal milk tea, call him spoiled but the maids and help around the home did make a perfect cup every time. "Thanks, Germory-Chan." In their first year in middle school he was just getting used to new things both at school and his life at home.

He looked to his arm where bandages were around until halfway to his forearm...an accident that happened recently due to a selfish decision that he did. "So you're brother pissed off my dad again." He started off as the girl sighed annoyingly.

"Sorry, sorry," The red haired girl said, making her hands into a prayer gesture, "He told me it was about suggesting a thing and it got out of hand."

Naruto nodded as he heard the conversation that Minato was cracking down hard on people more than his mother did in her time running a Yakuza family. It was no doubt from the fact that whatever they were protecting was no doubt making his usual religious father take drastic steps. Otherwise it would have not been a yelling match between the two like back then.

Rias's family has always been a sort of benefactor from what his Inner Circle said, oh by that he doesn't mean his father and mother's group. No, every generation needs to have their own Inner Circle. Naruto so far consists of either siblings or family members of the previous Inner Circle or new allies that made themselves very loyal to his family...that is if he accepted them.

Well all but one that was outside of any family influence, to everyone save his father it was a risky choice as the person that he is thinking about is barely known about. While the person is fiercely loyal to him, it could be a bad risk to keep said person among his closest group of allies without a few more years of making sure to solidify his choice. Either way, all they can do is offer this displeasure or opinions as no one dares try to threaten or convince him otherwise.

"Hello?"

His thoughts snapped back to the conversation to the girl who pouted, "You know that's not very gentlemanly if you can't listen to a girl's words you know?" She sighed dramatically, gesturing to the males ogling her from the class and outside of the room, "I might choose someone else to have a fun time to do so."

"Then do it." Naruto rudely said knowing Rias was kidding but did not care for it, once he was a very meek and shy child...thanks to her friendship he was very carefree and reckless. It was a fun time but when he was told about his family ways and the weight of their choices, it killed his childhood pretty hard. Minato desperately did not want him to learn it, but the Uzumaki elders went against his back to tell Naruto instead of letting his son experience more fun unlike his mother who spent her whole life doing nothing but being the leader at a young age.

Rias looked down as she felt bad for making her cousin mad at her...ever since he was told about his future responsibilities he lost most of his usual happiness to grow up to prepare his upcoming career. It was only thanks to his father he still attends 'regular' school as the elders no doubt wanted to place Naruto in his own home to leave only when he was deemed perfect enough to lead his clan.

She hated that...the young girl wanted her best friend to smile like he used to, it didn't help that constant arguments between her brother and Naruto's father were getting more frequent. Like he has done in the past, Sirzechs often threw the option of turning both son and father into Devils. Only to backfire each time getting worse, unlike Kushina who only shrugged it off, Minato was a holy man and each time was making their once good friendship strain. Her whole family often told him to stop, as it would ruin the chance to have them (Naruto and Minato) allow the Gremory family to let them in.

"Geh…" Naruto groaned out as his head felt pain as it quickly left. "Again?" He muttered as lately he has been getting a short burst of moderate pain in his head. The young Yakuza heir despite what people believe, those who actually know his families true work that is, Naruto is actually often overwork due to him helping his father on the shareload of money gathering and 'Insurances' from people around town and to the cities that his family hustle- err, provided all over the world. Despite being a prince of the crime family he has to do grunt work too.

Rias looked concerned at her friend/cousin as she spoke out, "You should go to the nurse, I know she lets you sleep in and it's better for you too. Everyone knows you can skip grades ahead if you wanted too…so missing a class isn't a big deal." She recalled, knowing her cousin was a certified genius when it came to academics.

All throughout their years in school, she always saw how teachers would often lure Naruto with promises of fun or greatness on skipping grades or joining clubs. Only for some to be...persuaded by Konan, one of Minato's, formerly (Kushina's) Inner Circle members. She was a scary woman despite being a human, most of Kushina Inner Circle members were now leading branches in different parts of the world although not one day she hasn't seen them often around with Naruto when she came over to his house or saw him being escorted by them for other reasons.

They all saw him as their leader's beloved son after all, each and every one of them would no doubt end their lives on his whims knowing that he wouldn't ask. Loyalty from the fact their leader was also loyal to them, the ultimate way to lead forces and the best way to prevent any betrayals from happening.

But it did make the Devil Heiress wonder, how could they all be in different parts of Japan like Osaka and Hokkaido while being at his side so quickly. Only supernatural beings had ways to appear from point A to point B without problems. Although Rias assume it might be Minato works, ever since he became the leader after Kushina's assassination the Uzumaki clan gain more footing and power.

The three races didn't seem to care as Minato might have told them given that her brother was having less time to work on the human side of affairs. Before the Uzumaki clan, all the three races had to do incredible annoying paperwork that they rather have the clan have more power than most humans if it meant not returning to the Dark Ages of Paperwork era, as her brother ruefully calls it. Although since she would be a Satan one day, she might want to keep Naruto on a good side to make sure she has less work too.

She gained a blushed on possibly spending her time with her best friend, before snapping her head out from her delusions. "So I'll-" she looked to where Naruto was to see he left. "Where…?"

A random student spoke out, pointing to the open doorway that Rias just noticed, "He left, said he wanted to take a nap."

"Mohhh~!"

The blonde boy entered a clean and sterilized room, his nose wrinkly at the smell of disinfectant. He saw a beautiful young looking woman looking at him when she was placing medicine on one of the shelves. She blushed with a. Sweet smile plastered on her gentle features, "Young Lord!" She rushed to his side, "Are you well? Need a pick-me-up? Nap? Anything?"

Naruto inwardly chuckled as he patted the older woman's head, to most it would seem disrespectful to someone older than he is. But she loved his kind gestures, he took a good look at the woman. She was too many would think at her early twenties, maybe mid's if you could believe it yourself. Her skin was almost like the purest of snow on how flawless and perfect it seemed, her hair was done in a side bun to the right of her head. With a small part of her hair to be made as a hanging bang to the right side, the color of her hair was oddly perplexing on the outside appearance it was a white color with a teal accent over it to give it a lovely hue but like a coin with two sides, so did her fair as underneath the outer appearance was a deep azure blue that made his eyes lose themselves in that lovely allure.

Taking a step back to break the hypnotic spell he looked at her clothes, "You're wearing the new ones I got you." He said with a happy tone as Naruto indeed went into the city to buy the best clothing that would suit her and this new job she got legitimately. It was a purple blouse that had an odd little tie attached to it, on top of it was a white jacket that was in lieu of a doctor coat. A black strap was hanging from her right shoulder that was connected to a black leather purse that he also got for her. She wore a skirt that had three belts either hanging sexily or keeping it in place, and to top it off she had teal colored leggings with dark blue pinstripes adored on them. He then noticed her black leather boots with brown fur on top of them.

All and all, she was something out of a fashion magazine considering that most of the boys tried to see her from either faking an illness or asking to sleep just to be kicked out or as Sirzechs would say 'yeeted' out...whatever that meant. The heir to the clan shook his head, "No, I just lie to stop talking to Rias." He once again fibbed to let the woman nod to his words. "Mind if I do take a nap?"

She bowed politely to her leader and gestured to a single bed, even though it was mandatory to have more than that, but given most of the males would just stay themselves to care for her. The school allowed it to prevent more self injuries. "Oh, that reminds me." She said, taking out a small folded piece of letter, "Tonight is where we start your recruitment on the vacant slots."

Naruto sighed when setting himself on the bed in comfortable position, "Any one good enough?" He rebutted only to get an awkward looking nurse looking flustered enough on whether to speak or not...which was enough for him.

For most of the previous years, the elders of the Uzumaki clan demanded Naruto fill in his Inner Circle by the time he finished his high school education before college. As many leaders and heirs, even the leaders of sub divisions of the family had their own allies they trusted more than anyone else. He had only one...one he trusted more than even his own 'family' in his home.

More than Rias at school…

"Bry...I'll do it when I can find people I trust." He muttered getting the sheets to drape over his body. He felt bad that he couldn't do something so easy while many others could. It's not like he couldn't trust others, but he couldn't let people protect him unless they were like his nurse friend. Impossibly strong beyond human measure, which is why he is in such hot water.

He allowed his eyes to close and forgot about the annoying problem as his dreams soon came when his mind finally let itself wonder.

There it is…

He saw her...again…

Ever since Naruto could remember, every time he was lonely or frustrated she was there. Crying all alone, a girl with white hair sobbing from either fear or pain…

She was the same age as him, in an empty dark void of pitch black nothingness. All he can do was painfully watched unable to do anything...he was heartbroken at the sight of someone he can't help. He constantly tried to walk to her side...but he couldn't get any close no matter. Nor could the young man speak to her, the words that leave his mouth turn to nothingness. Any gestures he tried to do or sent the girls way was clad in darkness.

"Someone help me…"

The young man's eyes opened up to see the white ceiling, feeling his eyes gaining a stinging sensation he easily deduced that he was crying in his sleep again. "Time?" He asked that no one in particular saved for the nurse was doing some paperwork.

"Doesn't matter, I did you work and told the teachers to let you go home." She said as Naruto sighed. "Was it that dream again my young lord?" She worried about her master constantly in a somber mood whenever he took a nap or had the rare dream in usual sleeping habits. "Do you wish to talk about it?"

The heir to the Yakuza clan sighed out his answer, he never wanted to talk about it. No one can understand this constant pain of being unable to help others. The fact he was forced to always to be reminded that he was weak made him upset. "It's fine…"

It was never fine…

LATER THAT DAY, NARUTO'S HOME

Naruto and his nurse, now wearing a black suit to symbolize her real job as his inner circle has started, enter his mansion where dozens of maids all welcomed him. Out of luck girls who were left on the street until his father gave them jobs as maids in their home, as well as doubling as secretaries and other jobs that made them all valuable to the family. Greeted with both enthusiasm and respect in their words towards the young man's arrival, "Welcome back, Master!"

He ignored them however still allowed a smile to grace his cheeks to acknowledge them, before the head maid arrived towards him. Taking a knee she bowed her head dutifully, "Your father, his Inner Circle, and...a guest arrived at the dining room. Anything to request for tonight's meal?"

"No, Fei, maybe chocolate in today's dessert if possible but I'm fine with anything the cooks make." Naruto replied by moving past her to go to the wing where both his room and the location for today's meeting was apparently happening today. He gave his only member of his Inner Circle that meant for him to be alone at the moment, the nurse gave a curt nod and stood still gazing at her master's back as he left her behind.

The young blonde teen entered the room of his home to see it was a normal teenage room then one would think a Yakuza heir would have. Posters on certain games, actresses, and movies were hung up. A small collection of manga that he relatively loves to read was on a medium sized bookcase that contained them, along with some other stuff like school and reference books alongside the manga. A decent sized TV that he uses to check the news for any major news.

A room fit for a normal teen, "...A normal teen…" Naruto mockingly spat as much as his father wanted him to be normal, Naruto was anything but that. He did at least allow himself to be that way for a long time, while it was a fun time to experience. The elders ruined it by telling the boy at a younger age of his duties of his upcoming age. The fact of his duties wasn't the thing that made him angry...it was the fact he couldn't let his father have his wish to be ignorant of the fact until the day it came.

He now understood why his father was often looked ragged and burnout, it was against his nature to be this way. No doubt his son being one of them from not only family duty but being a direct descendant didn't help either. But now...he played the part as best he can, this was the day his father allowed himself to think that his son had a normal life as best and long as he could until it happened. The young man chuckled, removing his school clothing before donning a standard suit with a red scarf that loosely hung around his shoulders. Old style gangster looks are his choice for usual fashion, a mix of respect yet tasteful eye candy to others.

Taking a deep breath he moved to his bed where a nightstand had a photo of his mother and father before he was born, at times he blamed himself for her death. A foolish reason no doubt, but the young heir no longer thought that. Rather it's keeping him strong, he knows his mother died for him and will lead what she left behind better than she could ever dream. "Bye Ma, I'll be careful. Also make sure to watch out for dad." He chuckled, leaving the room to head to the meeting where his journey will finally start.

Reaching to the dining room was his nurse standing by, "Not good." She rush towards him with a fearful look, "Minato is-"

SLAM~!

"Dad!?" Naruto shouted, moving past the woman to enter the room to see… "Oh…" he deflated to see something that was the norm.

"Naru~Chan~! *hic* You took too long~!" Minato shouted towards his son while waving an almost empty bottle of wine in the air. "This red haired bastard...turd? Whatever keeps asking me the same thing, but today was specific- special, so...WINE~!"

Naruto turns to see a slightly embarrassed red haired Satan, Sirzechs, who scratches the back of his head. "I...once again offer to Minato and you. I apologize Naruto-kun." He said sincerely as the young man gave him a dirty look.

"I will say what my father and mother say to your offers, enough is enough Sirzechs. I will not be a Devil. Live with it." Naruto harshly said as the man winced at the tone he used, calming down to take a seat. "Sorry, bad day…" he stated as his only member of his Inner Circle also sat at the table. "So...what's up?"

Minato head shot up with a goofy smile, "Today is your first day as an official member of the clan, you need to...grill some black birds…" He said before his head fell into the mash potatoes off his plate that just arrived. "Zzzz."

Once again Naruto glared at Sirzechs who had the decency to look away, as he took over, "What he means it that, since you are going to be part of the Yakuza clan that Kushina once led, you have to take more of the supernatural elements like Minato-dono and his team does."

"Right, I know that much." Naruto declared eating a salad that made him recoil in disgust from the bitter taste. "S-So, what's with the birds?" Asking his question to attempt to use conversation to ignore the taste of his food.

"Fallen Angels." The Devil explained to the young man, "From what I heard from the grapevine, Minato learns that he notices that some Fallen Angels were nesting around the old church that Father Rico used to do his weapons business."

"That happy jerk didn't blow it up?" Naruto said with a slight astonishment that the priests didn't do something like that, knowing squatters can take refuge even in a collapsing building. "Going to make sure he limits his sales, can't let people who let things happen go unpunished."

"So they need to...Oww…" Minato announced total sober now as he rubbed his face off any spuds and nursed his bruised forehead. "To be told to pay their dues on staying in our city. Or you…" He stopped but his stare showed how uncomfortable it was going to be for him to speak the next word.

"Can you do-" "Yeah." Naruto interrupted the red haired devil as the maids placed their main meals on the table. He easily began eating his steak meal as he continued, after making sure to shallow, "Where and when, then we can end this."

"We?" Sirzechs said looking at the nurse who ate a sea bass plate. "Is she?"

The young man nodded to that question, lifting his fork to point at her direction. "She is a part of my Inner Circle." He said as the woman lifted a hand to politely wave at the man across from her. "And...do not talk about the elephant in the room with her, or from this point on you will speak to a proxy when I take the leadership."

Sirzechs eyes grew large at the threat before looking at Minato who nodded to a deadly serious degree. They have a good friendship, often strain from the annoyance of Sirzechs constant offers. Seeing his friend also allowing Naruto to make such a drastic change made the man keep this on the 'Do Not Question' archives. "U-Uh yes, so do you need-"

Naruto smiled as he shook his head as he and his ally turned green before vanishing, making the devil gawk at the sight as Minato chuckled. "She is a wiz with runes…"

"Alright...in the woods." Naruto muttered as he and Bry faded into existence where they were just outside of a church within their sights. He turns to his friend and looks at the area, "Keep outside, kill anybody who leaves." The young man orders while walking ahead to the doors of the crumbling church. Taking out a pair of daggers he prepared to enter the holy land, to see dozens of rogue priests and outcast nuns pointing weapons at him.

"I suggest your leaders come out, I came to talk if possible." He said lifting his hands to allow them to calm down, in hopes of possibly getting some income in his clan's deep pockets. "I am from the Three Races, I am Naruto Uzumaki of the Uzumaki yakuza clan. So you guys kill me, you're starting a war...after they all kill you that is." He said impatiently as the people looked nervous at each other.

The young man lowered his arms as he saw the group of people parted ways for three individuals walking to him. The fallen angels… "So you guys are the ones leading this...what's the word for heretics in big groups, inquisitions?"

The only male fallen angel chuckled, "Ha~! Nice one, but is it true you are the member of the clan?"

Naruto took a look at the man, he is a middle-aged-looking man with short black hair and dark blue eyes. His attire consisted of a pale gray trench coat over a white dress shirt with a matching ascot, black pants and shoes, a pair of black gloves, and a black fedora. "Nice fedora." Naruto mentions the man tip his hat to the young man kindly.

"Likewise on the scarf." He said as the teen bent his back to politely bow to the compliment.

"Okay stop sucking each other off, seriously you two act more like girls than me and Kal." Naruto's eyes turn to the youngest looking member of the trio. She wore a Gothic Lolita attire, which consisted of a black Lolita dress with white frills, a large black bow on the front, and a green jewel embedded on the collar, white thigh-high socks, and black shoes. She also wore a large black bow on top of her hair.

Naruto then spoke in an apologetic manner, "My apologies miss…?"

The young girl pointed at the man, "Dohnaseek, the battle craze member of our team." She then pointed to the other woman standing beside them, eyeing Naruto with a hawk eye look on them. "Kalawarner, our rather quiet member."

Naruto eyes gazed upon the other woman, and tried not to blushed on how beautiful she was. Kalawarner was a tall and buxom woman with brown eyes and long, navy blue hair that obscured her right eye. Her attire consisted of a maroon, trench coat-like top with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt, and black heeled shoes. The trenchcoat top was open at her chest, giving view to her breasts and cleavage. She also wore a gold necklace around her neck.

"Ma'am," He said as the woman gave a curt nod, returning to a pouting little girl as she didn't like how she was being easily ignored for the more stacked woman. "And you?"

"The Cutest and loveliest member of the trio~! Mittelt- wahhh~!" She blushed when Naruto patted her head like a big brother doing for his sister. "Stop that~!" The gothic lolita cried out girlishly as she had a blush from the warm contact.

"Hmhmhm, sorry, you're right on being cute.' Naruto honestly said...before tackling her down, when a spear of rose light went towards where they stood. Looking down at the blushing girl he spoke, "You ok?!" He said getting a nod she stood up to see someone was above them. "The hell was that bitch!?" The young man yelled from the woman who threw that at them. "You could've killed the girl too!"

The woman descended down with a cruel smile on her face, "I knew she would be fine. But I am surprised that a simple human was able to dodge that. Well I hope you can understand we're going to send a message to your clan."

The teen raised an eyebrow, "Ooh? And that being?"

However, it wasn't answered as Dohnaseek shouted, "Raynare, no! Azazel told us to let the clan be! He told us that if we harm them it would be more harm than good!" He said, glaring at the woman who tried to harm the teen.

"He is going to be a problem, this child," she started summoning another spear. "With that Sacred Gear of his."

"Who, what, where?" Naruto said before the spear was sent after him...and fell to the ground when being tackled by the girl. He turns to see her glaring cutely at him, "Uhh…?"

"I-I didn't want to owe you one. We're even." She said as Naruto stood up, "Raynare, seriously this is a really, really bad idea. I know you want to ride on Azazel's dick but this is really going to cause him to kick us out from the race."

Naruto sighed as once again the girl sent another spear at him for the teen to slash it away, causing the whole group to look at the teen. "Okay enough, you're dead!" He shouted, rushing towards the woman as she gained a look of fear when he was closing the distance between them.

The Fallen Angel threw another spear for Naruto to dodge, while the other hand made one for combat, "No please…!" She said until she gained a savage toothy smile as she flicked her other hand towards Naruto. "Die!"

The teen stops to turn when watching the spear he dodge coming back at his back! "Dammit," he quickly used his daggers to block the attacks but look once again behind himself to see Raynare coming at him. "Sorry ma." Naruto whispered, closing his eyes for his eventual doom.

"A-Am I dead?" He asked, hearing a gurgle noise, to see that it was something that shocked him. A black serpent was choking the life out of Raynare, wrapping around her with tremendous strength while the mouth, filled with sharp and pointing teeth, was about to bite down on her neck. "Stop!" He roared, making the demonic looking snake stop right about it was going to sink its maws into the woman's throat.

It turns to Naruto as it reaches towards him, stretching its body to impossible and unnatural lengths to stare into the young man's eyes. The young Yakuza member looks back at it...glaring at it unflinching as it opens its mouth. The young man groans when the next thing happens…

*SLURP~!*

Of course it would like his face, staring back at it with nor visible anger at it. But stop when it nuzzles its rocky head towards his chest, causing the teen to...to pet it. "Sssss~" it warbled at the affection before tightening on Raynare once more, before a loud crack was heard! Hearing the sound made it loosen its grip, uncoiling from Raynare's body to show Naruto it doesn't have a body. Well that is if it wasn't coming from his own shadow.

While the other Fallen tend to the aggressor, the human leaned down to touch his shadow where the Serpent was coming from. A single fingertip created a ripple, like throwing a small pebble into a pond. He looked at the odd reptilian being as it smiled at him, slinking into the darkness. Naruto looked to where the humans were readying to gun him down, but the other Fallen Angels lifted their hands. "Stop! We'll pay!" One of them said quickly getting Raynare out of the area, "She's knocked out and that's all we want."

Naruto shook his head at them, "No, you lost your privilege. Pack your shit and leave, and if my clan catches a whiff of your asses here? I'll be sure to let the leader of the Fallen Angels know that has a choice, let you guys defend yourselves or start a war with us, the Angels, and Devils for attacking the heir of the clan."

The Trio paled at the fact their leader caused such a problem, it was one thing to attack a peon...but against the possible leader of the clan who makes their job to keep things fair and balanced is another. Many uprising were quelled under the might of the Uzumaki family with some help with the other races or out flat disowning the people who were in the race to cause less problems for the rest of the people. They nodded as Naruto walked out, "I will make daily visits to make sure you'll aren't still here." he warned knowing that they could return if he didn't take the moment to say it.

Walking away he looked at his shadow that was in front of him with every step he took. Slight fear as he wonders why he was saved by the serpent? Seeing Bry running up to him, made the teen take a short break of relief. It could be done later… "I need to sleep." He said as soon without any warning his eyes closed and felt his body drifting downwards.

"Ah...haa…*sniff*...haa…"

Again… again there she is… Naruto eyes widen to once again to see the girl in his dreams, out of reach forever-

He paused, teeth clenched as he couldn't allow this any longer. He lifted his foot to lightly tapped the ground watching and hearing a ripple effect across the pitch black nothingness. Soon the darkness faded showing a broken home around Naruto, the girl was huddled holding her legs close to her chest. But not looking around the sudden change of scenery, "W-Who?"

The young man walked towards her, each step filled with determination and confidence. When reaching her, the girl looked at him with slight fear, "..." Staring back at her, a soft smile grace his face. Leaning downward to pull out a handkerchief to wipe her tears, "I'm sorry it took so long to reach you." He said as the girl's eyes widened at his words.

"You...want to save me?" She asked the tone filled with hope that he would say the words she long to hear… eyes dangerously close to restarting the waterworks.

"Yes…" He gently answered the question as the girl let tears fall down her face, as Naruto stood up and gave a hand to her. "Let's go somewhere better than here." He chuckled as the girl took his hand, as she said one thing that formed their connection at last.

"Yes...my master."

"Is Naruto ok?" Sirzechs said as Minato was coming from outside his son's room, "I didn't expect him to faint after his first mission."

Sirzechs nodded to that notion, happy to see his family member sleeping in such a joyful manner. "Yeah, come on I brought more wine. It's about Naruto and Rias going to the same school in a little bit." as they left the young boy alone in his sleep, from the corner in the shadows of the room, was someone entering into the realm of existence.

A young woman gently walked to the boy's body, using a shadowy hand to gently caress his face. "My Master…" she whispered in bliss that now she finally had someone to reach out to her. "No one shall harm you as I live beside you." She swore eyes glowing red in the darkness.
