She tripped and fell - fell! the Fire Princess never hugged the ground but when she wanted to; the last she'd proper fallen was at six, in a practice match against their mother - but she fell now, foot twisted into the earth and face twisted in cold anger at this little upstart before her.
"Unhand me at once," she snarled, and tugged at her feet, shifting weight. She only sank deeper into the ground.
"I don't think so. You're not supposta be here. If you let my friends go, I'll do the same."
Sure she would. Azula'd played the same trick in her own times. "Go and get them, then!" she snapped, and sent up a wall of flame to either side. The girl didn't flinch.
"You're boring." And then Azula's hands were snapped by a sharp stone, and the fire ended. Two hand twists, and a jerk to the side, and Zula was half-caught by the ground, and she dropped onto one knee to keep from falling.
The corner of her opponent's mouth twitched. "Oh, that's okay. You don't have to bow. I'm not that important."
She walked toward the ship as the Princess worked to clench her hands.
