Golden Sun: A New Awakening

Hey, this is the second chapter incase you haven't read the first one yet. Hope you like it. Also please review and tell me how I'm doing.

In the previous chapter, the young boy Jaysen was being chaced by the police and luckily escaped by using a mysterious power even he didn't know he had. He ran off into the woods and finds his pendant that was left behind from his parents. Unknowingly he was being followed by a mysterious man in a black hooded coat. For some reason everone wanted the pendant that he had. Three years has passed since then and Jaysen has grown more adapt to his new powers. This is where the real story begins.

Jaysen starts to hed out of his village when he is stopped by a group of people. "Hmmm? Whats going on?"

"Well we've decided to see you out for your journey." says the town mayor. "We thought you might need some extra food and supplies seeing that you barely have anything with you."

Jaysen smiles, excepts the offering, thanks everyone, and goes on his way. "WAIT. Jaysen do you mind if I come with you?"

Jaysen turns around and Duncan was standing there. Duncan also had special power like Jaysen except with fire. He was also one of Jaysen's best friends from the village.

"Please let me come with you." Jaysen accepts and they both leave the viilage and head to the nearest town to find out some information.

Jaysen and Duncan arrive in Luna and immediatly hear the sirens of a police and hide behind a building. They follow the police to the crime scene which turns out to be at the temple of the legendary hero of the town, Haschel.

"Someone has stolen Haschel's Rod." yelled one of the police.

At the temple were three suspicous people and one person who had his eyes closed facing the men. Jaysen and Duncan go up to the guy and asked,"Whats worng with you?" Frightend, the guy turns around and says,"Do you need something?" "Well we were wondering if you knew anything about those three men." "Yes, they are the ones who stole the rod." "Are you sure? How do you know?" "Well this is gonna be hard to believe, but I have special power that allow me to read minds." The man introces himself and explains everthing to them.

"So Chad, what are you gonna do about whats happened?"

"Well first, I need to find the rod and force them to tell the truth. Would mind helpong me? I think i know where they hid it but if i were to be caught I don't think I'd win." Jaysen gladly accepts and the head towards the inn. Inside there was a ladder that seemed like it led to nowhere, but with a hard push a small door opened. As Chad had predicted the three men were there and they were caught.

"Who are they?" asks one of the men. "I think they're dead." chuckles another man.

"Where is the rod?" asks Chad

"You'll have to kill us first." and so a fight starts between them.

"TORNADO." yells Chad as a huge gust of wind picks up the three men.

"FLARE, EARTHQUAKE." Jaysen and Duncan say together.

The men fly up a couple feet into the air and catch fire. As they burn the police break in and find the three men with burnt skin and burn scars they ask," What's going on here?" Chad explains everything to the police and the men were arrested.

"Thanks for your help I couldn't have done it with ya"ll."

"No problem, but I need to ask you something. Do you anything about this?" asks Jaysen as he shows him the pendant.

"I'm sorry but no. There's also something I'd like to ask you. Would you mind if I joined you? There's someone I'm looking for, so I'm hoping if I go with ya'll I'll find him."

"Sure, I'm sure we could use your help."

And so Chad joins the team and they head out yet again.
