So, yeah. Bucks finally lost. They went nine games straight LOL. Oh, and what's up with LeBron, anyway? Is he starting to show is age, or is it just because of the DUMPSTER FIRE LA LAKERS? Not that I'm hating. I've always really liked Lebron James. He's turning 38 at the end of the year. All I know is that Father Time is undefeated, sadly.

If ya'll haven't caught up in random news, a lottery ticket jackpot has been claimed recently. How much, you may ask?

2 BILLION DOLLARS. Yeah. Billion. With a B. That's the biggest jackpot in lottery history, by the way.

That nut in California is laughing his way to the bank as I'm typing this...

Anyway, this chapter is when this story really gets it going. I just love this part, man. Hope you guys do as well. Be the light

chapter 3: field of dreams

3 DAYS LATER

Chase and Skye did indeed go out to the fancy restaurant that night. The sirloin medium rare steak that they wanted to have since their first date 5 dog years prior but never had not only satisfied. It amazed them beyond their wildest dreams. To top off their 18th birthday date, the two got some wine for each other. They toasted to their romance, and drank for the very first time. It was a beautiful evening as well, and even after the moon had made its presence known in the dark and starry sky above them, they went back to Adventure Bay to the beach that they knew so well. They didn't even talk to each other for a few hours. Skye and Chase cuddled with each other as they looked at the magnificently-painted atmosphere above them.

Bizarrely, after an awesome night like that, Chase went on a "vacation" to Jake's Mountain for a few days, only letting Marshall, Ryder and the other male pups know about it beforehand. Everest and Hailey were concerned about the sudden departure of their friend, but Skye was especially distraught. She tried calling him, looking for him and asking all his pup friends where he could have gone. They gave her no answer.

The three girls sat in the grassy front yard, on the third day since the german shepherd had left. The husky and golden retriever listened in as their cockapoo friend let off her nervous energy.

"It's been three days, girls. Three days. No contact. No message. He hasn't called me back on his pup tag, either. I'm just…worried about him. He usually tells me everything. I…I hope he's ok…was it something I said during that night that made him mad at me? I'm so confused…" whined the pilot.

"Who knows? Maybe he just needs a break from you. All the rumors that have been going around, you know. They've been affecting him quite a bit." Hailey pondered aloud. The days before the couple became of age, local townsfolk had been succumbing to rumblings of a supposed marriage between the two. Both Skye and Chase hated the rumors, but didn't want to talk about it publicly. They never found the time to discuss the matter themselves at all.

"Maybe…maybe he doesn't want to get married yet. He just might not be ready for it." The cockapoo said.

"Could be." Everest spoke up.

"But I am ready to marry him! Chase is the love of my life, and I don't want to hide it in that sense. I want to walk down the aisle with him. I want to mate with him, have pups with him and love him for the rest of my life and into eternity." Skye declared to her female confidants.

"That's good to hear. You know, he may have spent these three days thinking of a proposal or something! He may be waiting for the right moment to say those magic words when he sees you again." Everest stated.

"Now that makes more sense." Hailey agreed.

"It does, it really does." Skye pointed out.

"When he does come back, just pretend that this discussion never happened." The husky decreed to her friends.

"Agreed." The trio swore, lifting their left paws in confidence of the secrecy. Just then, out of nowhere, Skye and Everest felt their pup tags vibrating and flashing.

"PAW Patrol, to the lookout!" Ryder spoke through their pup tags. The pilot and mountain rescue dog knew exactly what to do.

"Ryder needs us!" The two cried, a new sense of urgency taking over as they were summoned for a mission. They both began booking it for the lookout, leaving Hailey in the dust. She just stood there like a sitting duck, unsure of what to do next. The golden retriever saw Rocky, Zuma, and Rubble sprinting to the lookout from the backyard. She then saw Chase. She was about to stop him and ask him where he went, but then realized it would have been a bad idea. He hated any distractions to his work.

The cockapoo and husky watched as the mix, bulldog and chocolate lab hustled into the elevator. Skye then saw her beloved in the distance. The german shepherd was giving it all, as he felt his knees were going to give out. Thankfully, he made it.

"Chasey-wasey!" The pilot cried as she ran up to him, kissing his face almost a dozen times in thirty seconds. The other pups laughed.

"Hey, babe…" Chase spoke up sheepishly.

"Where were you?! I tried to call you! I asked everyone where you were. And you never spoke to me at all! Are you ok?" The pilot asked, concerned about the mental state of her boyfriend.

"Yeah. I just needed to relax for a few days and recharge my batteries." The police dog answered.

"Well, you should have told me." Skye replied sternly.

"Sorry to cut your loving reunion short, but, uhhh, I see Marshall coming right toward us." Rocky pointed out to the couple. Marshall, always being the last one into the lookout, was on roller skates of all things. He was rolling incredibly fast, just about to lose his balance.

"Tactical nuke incoming!" Zuma called out to his friends. They all instinctively ran to an opposite side of the elevator, watching the dalmatian trip on a random tree branch and soar through the air at high speeds. He flew face first into the wall, a resounding thud shaking the entire building.

"Hey, glass elevator wall? You and I have had a great run together. But…well…I think it's time we've seen other people…or another window store." Marshall muttered, falling off the wall and on his back.

"Hey, Skye?" Chase asked her girlfriend quietly.

"Yeah?"

"Wanna meet up at the sunflower field after this?" The German shepherd whispered to her.

"Sure…that would be great." The cockapoo agreed, the elevator finally rising as a new mission awaited them.

After a rather mundane rescue mission (Farmer Al's fence had broken yet again, causing a few sheep to escape. All the others were in the barn), it was starting to get late. It was 6 PM, the sun beginning to slowly set over the horizon. The pink hue was starting to become faintly visible. Since she wasn't actually needed for the mission, Skye did what she agreed to do. She sat next to her copter near the sunflower field, patient yet eager for the arrival of her lover. The wind was a slight breeze, sifting through the flowers and through the cockapoo's light brown coat. The sunflower field was her favorite place in Adventure Bay for several reasons. On one of the cliffs that overlooked the field, during their first date, Chase and Skye confessed their love for each other, had their first kiss and began a beautiful relationship. She also loved wading through the flowers in the carefully arranged paths of the field, the scent of the plants being an intoxicating smell that was only topped by the natural scent of the german shepherd. Finally, it was just a place of relaxation for her. If she got overwhelmed by a situation, her friends or simply needed a moment to herself, it was a perfect place to be. There were nothing but thousands of flowers for almost a hundred acres, with a maze and a small circle in the middle of the field having only grass and nothing more.

Meanwhile, after about a half hour of wrangling animals back into a farmhouse, Chase was a bit tuckered out. Had this been a normal evening for him, he would simply relax for the rest of the night with his male comrades at the lookout. But this evening was very important to him. One that would be the beginning of a completely brand new chapter of his life. Not only his life, but the lives of his girlfriend, his friends around him, and even Ryder himself would be affected by what he was about to ask the pilot.

Flower ring box in the glove department…check. Honeymoon plane tickets…double check. My guts…triple check. He surveyed his car before jumping out of it. The German shepherd, only seeing Marshall still outside, barked for his attention. The dally turned around and saw his friend, waving him over. The fire dog promptly trotted over to him, where a few simple words awaited him.

"I'm gonna do it." Chase told him. Knowing exactly what his best buddy meant, Marshall bro-hugged his police canine teammate.

"Go get her, man. And if I'm not your best man…you're not gonna sleep very well tonight." The dally joked as the two seperated.

"Ohhh, man. You'll be my best man for sure. I'll do the same thing for you when the time comes for your special day with Everest." Chase replied with a chuckle.

"I'm so damn proud of you, Chase. Remember that." Marshall added.

"Thanks. You have no idea how much this whole thing means to me." the German shepherd grinned. He hopped back into the police car, turned on the gas and hit it for the sunflower field not too far away.

"When I wave my right paw three times in the western direction, that's when you do the flyover. Make sure the sign points at her direction. You copy?" The german shepherd inquired a mysterious person on a walkie talkie as he was approaching the sunflower field. This mysterious individual had incredible piloting skills of her own- and she was crucial for the proposal to work.

"Roger that. Good luck, Chase. You and Skye deserve the world." The mysterious individual answered dutifully.

"Thanks…you know, you're a real one." The police dog said as he disconnected the walkie talkie. He left it in his car and jumped out. He didn't have to walk too far, the love of his life still positioned near the copter she flew. Skye felt her eyes explode to life when his eyes met hers.

"Hey, Chase…how was the roundup at the farm?" The cockapoo inquired about her boyfriend, giving him the loving gaze that always made Chase's heart rate spike. Due to the importance of his situation, the German shepherd was even more nervous than usual.

"Ohhh…uhhh…yeah…about that…it was fine. Took a bit of work to do, but thanks to the old lasso skills, I got 'em in there. Just had to find each one of those cows." replied Chase, ending the sentence with an awkward laugh. Skye walked close to him and sat next to him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"You know…there's something that I wanted to do with you for the longest time, yet I kept forgetting about it." she whispered, her quiet tone seeping through the police dog's eardrums. This caused him to sweat even more.

"What's that?"

"You wanna run with me in the sunflower field?" Skye asked playfully, walking over to the entrance of the sunflower field's maze. The question seemed to do the trick, as she hoped to ease the apparent nerves he had developed. He got up and sighed with relief.

"You read my mind. I thought you'd never ask." The german shepherd smiled. Together, the couple began running throughout the massive area of the maze. The scent of the flowers overwhelmed both of them with its carefree nature. Both of them laughed, howled and barked like puppies as they chased each other. It was like they were little ones again. In less than five minutes, the two traversed through the entire maze. By the time they reached the circle of grass in the middle, fatigue had taken over the both of them. Lying on their backs and holding each other close with the pink sunset painting the landscape, heaven had found them temporarily.

"Man, this sunset sure is something, isn't it?" Skye asked quietly.

"I never get tired of it. Every time I see it, especially with you, it's like life itself slows down. It's great." Chase agreed. He let the "calm before the storm" moment set in for a few minutes. Then, as the sunset began rapidly accelerating, he decided to set his plan into action. The police dog stood up on his hind legs, waving his right paw three times.

"Wait, why are you waving at the sky?" The pilot asked in confusion.

"I thought I saw a cute little bird. Blue footed-booby bird. Say that five times fast." Chase quickly replied. A small airplane slowly came into view above them.

"Do you see something? Or is it just me?" Skye asked while she squinted her eyes at the flying object in the atmosphere.

"I do think I see it. It's a plane. You know who that is?" The german shepherd inquired, a wide grin coming along his face. The pilot finally caught a great glimpse of the plane in question. She recognized the plane-and its pilot-immediately.

"It's…it's Ace! It's her! Hey! Ace! Can you see me down here? Hey!" The cockapoo called out barking repeatedly, hoping to attract her attention from above.

"Ok, just gotta turn on autopilot…engage the sign…and there we go. Hope this works." Ace told herself as she worked on her flying machine. The plane did indeed go into autopilot, and she unfurled the long sign behind the tail of the aircraft.

"Wait, where you going?" Skye asked with a hitch in her voice as she saw him trying to run. He stopped and turned back to her.

"Just read the sign. I'll be back in a second. Don't move." He replied calmly. With that, he began to run faster than he ever had in his life. Luckily, the place they were at and his police car wasn't that far from each other. He reached the end of the maze, jumped into his car, fumbled with the glove compartment and found his items. He started to sprint back from the direction which he came, knowing he didn't have much time. But he knew he could make it.

"Ok, then…That's weird." The cockapoo muttered to herself. She then focused her attention to the giant sign that was unfurled, flapping in the slight breeze a few hundred feet above her.

"Dear Skye…I love you from heaven and back. You make my life a much brighter place. There's something that I really want to do with you. You can turn around now. Love, Chase." The pilot read to herself. Barely after she started reading it, Chase had managed to make it back. With the box containing the ring and the honeymoon tickets under his feet. Proposing like a human with a dog's proportions wasn't easy. He had to stand on his hind legs and bend on one knee like his two legged counterparts. Chase balanced himself and held the box in his right paw. After a few moments of struggling to stay upright, he found the right balance. For almost five dog years, he had waited for this moment. Now, it was the time to make it happen. The cockapoo did exactly as the sign told her. Little did she know that the surprise of a lifetime was right in her face.

"Wait, what are you-" The pilot asked the police canine as she turned around. The German shepherd took this as his cue. He opened the box, containing the sunflower flower ring. Even though his nerves were shooting at an all time high, Chase never showed his anxiety. He simply smiled as Skye gazed her eyes at the flower ring for the very first time.

"OH MY GOD!" she gasped, paws covering her mouth, eyes splitting wide open in shock. Chase had to hold in his laughter based on her reaction. Ace, who was watching the whole scene from above, held her breath.

"Skye…will you marry me?" The german shepherd asked. Skye's emotions became apparent a few seconds after the question registered in her head. Her eyes filled with water, tears running down her cheeks. She struggled to find words, becoming a blubbering, ugly mess of a dog.

"Y..Y…Yes…yes, I will!" Skye cried, embracing the love of her life. As she continued sobbing tears of joy, Chase held her small body in his arms. He never felt so relieved in his entire life. He sighed and soothed her, as she licked his face with riveting affection. It took a few minutes, but the two finally separated. The sunset was at its climax, the atmosphere creating an Eden-like serenity.

"What'cha think about the ring?" The German shepherd asked. It was a sunflower, attached to the ring beneath. It had a yellow diamond encrusted in the middle of the flower. It wasn't a real flower, but it was as authentic as you can get.

"Oh my god, it's…it's perfect…can…can I try it on?" Skye inquired eagerly.

"You've earned it." Chase answered warmly. He put it on her right ear, and when he stepped back and took a proper look, his heart exploded. Even though the german shepherd rarely got emotional by any means, this moment was an exception.

"How do I look?" The cockapoo asked innocently. She saw her new fiancee tear up, and she smiled widely.

"You look better than I ever imagined." The german shepherd choked up, his vision that saw her in a flower ring just weeks ago becoming a reality before him. Skye ran up to him and the two nuzzled one another, sharing a quiet moment of intimacy.

"Thanks…I'm sorry…it's just…I can't even focus right now…" The pilot admitted after about a minute, her thoughts running at a Mach 1 speed.

"No problem…I can totally understand that." Chase answered as they separated again.

"So…do you know when you want to do it? I've heard that dog weddings don't take much planning." asked the pilot, curious if Chase had anything planned for their big day before he asked her.

"Sure I do." he replied casually.

"Great. You got any honeymoon ideas, babe?" inquired the cockapoo flirtatiously, playfully shoving her future husband.

"I already have tickets for it." Chase spoke up. He grabbed them from underneath him and showed it to her. Skye thought she was seeing things when she saw the destination.

"Wait a minute…oh my god…WE'RE GOING TO PARIS!?" she blurted out.

"You've always wanted to go there. It's also the city of love, isn't it?" inquired Chase. He knew that her beloved would be over the moon with the idea, but had no idea how over the moon she was.

"ThankyouthankyouthankyouIloveyousomuch!" squealed the pilot, hugging her fiance tighter than she ever had. She nearly sucked the life out of him, but when she looked up, Skye realized what she was doing and toned it down.

"We're gonna have so much fun, I just know it. Just the two of us." grinned the police dog, thankful to breathe normally once more.

"Just the two of us. For a week, with nobody to bother us. A place I've always dreamt of going to. To do it with you…as my future mate…I can't wait." Skye swooned while the shepherd held up the tickets again.

"You see the date on the tickets? The day before that…is our wedding." Chase spoke up. The wedding was set for April 29.

"We only have a month? Seems quite fast, but we can work it out." responded the cockapoo with confidence. Suddenly, the walkie talkie that the police dog was using to communicate with Ace came to life.

"Hey, lovebirds! I saw that the plan worked. Congrats, you two!" Ace spoke up on the walkie talkie that the german shepherd used specifically for the plan.

"Thanks, Ace! I had no idea that you were going to do that for us." Skye remarked, surprised that Chase told her idol about him proposing.

"Those three days I was gone…part of it was just working on that sign with her. It took lots of work, but doing it for you and seeing the look on your face after you turned around? It was all worth it." the German shepherd said, licking his beloved's face.

"Ace, you helped Chase propose to me and with that, started a change that will last a lifetime. How can I ever repay you?" asked the four-legged aviator.

"You can have me as one of your bridesmaids." joked Ace.

"It's a deal!" Both Chase and Skye replied in unison.

"Thanks. It means a lot that I'm one of the bridesmaids to the greatest four legged pilot of all time on her big day." Ace told the cockapoo. Skye felt herself tearing up again. Back before she was on the PAW Patrol, her biggest inspiration for getting into flying was not only watching reruns of Top Gun, but Ace Sorensen herself. When she was only three dog years old, Skye saw Ace performing at an air show. She told herself from that day forward, she was going to be a pilot just like her. Back in her infancy, the cockapoo was known as Stella. But when her determination for being a pilot became reality, she was given the nickname Skye. It had stuck on ever since. The fact that Ace was volunteering to be in this big of a role was another dream becoming reality for her.

"There's no bigger compliment than that." The cockapoo replied gratefully, a few tears being shed from her eyes.

"No problem. I'll leave you two to the wedding details. Chase already told me when the wedding was. And you two are going to Paris for your honeymoon?! I'm sooo jealous." Ace gushed to them.

"We'll get pictures, we promise. Again, thanks for helping out. It really means everything to us." The police dog answered.

"Goodnight, and take care. Ace is out." The human pilot concluded, the walkie talkie communication dead. The newly-soon-to-be married couple looked at each other and knew what they were thinking. They simply had to tell their friends at the lookout first and foremost.

By the time the cockapoo and shepherd returned to the lookout, the sky was completely dark and the moon was full. The pups and Ryder, along with Jasen and Hailey, were having a late dinner together when they were interrupted by a certain police dog. Chase had the biggest smile that they had ever seen from him.

"Hey, guys…it's happening." smiled Chase as he entered the lookout, confidence exuding all over him.

"Wait…you mean?" Ryder gasped quietly. All of their eyes widened. They were on the edge of their seats, guessing that the moment they had been waiting for had finally arrived.

"We're getting married." Skye proclaimed as she walked into the tower, showing off her flower ring for everyone to see. Not a moment too soon, every canine that heard the news started howling with joy. All the males jumped onto the future groom in excitement while the girls rushed over to Skye to see her flower ring up close.

"It's actually happening?!" The husky cried.

"Your flower ring is so pretty! Where did Chase find such a thing?" Hailey observed with glee.

"I don't know? I don't care? I'm just so happy right now…" Skye admitted. The three girls hugged each other, squealing with glee.

"I KNEW YOU GOT IT! LET'S GO, MAN!" Marshall bellowed with ecstasy for his friend, dapping him up in the process.

"Dude, we're gonna throw the craziest bachelor party ever!" proclaimed Zuma, already imagining insane results.

"Fuck yeah. We're gonna go crazy!" agreed Jasen.

"The time has finally come for my brotha and his girl to walk down the aisle…it's enough to make a grown man cry." Rubble admitted, a few tears welling up in his eyes.

"And that's ok, my dude." The german shepherd spoke up.

"Sooo, who's gonna be your groomsmen? Just curious." Hailey asked the groom-to-be. The police dog didn't even have to think for more than 5 seconds.

"Hailey…you're looking at all five of them." Chase told the golden retriever. The guys howled with joy, overjoyed that they were going to stand alongside him for the big day.

"That was the easiest groomsmen picking ever. Marshall's probably the best man." Everest observed, focusing her attention on the dalmatian. He was more excited about the news than anyone, it seemed.

"Isn't that obvious? He probably knew that already." Hailey added.

"I have to think about who my bridesmaids are going to be." Skye spoke to the girls, the two refocusing their attention to the bride.

"Am I the maid of honor?" inquired Everest.

"Uhhh…you're my best friend. Of course you are!" The pilot answered giddily.

"Thanks, Skye! You're a real one." The husky replied gratefully as the two embraced.

"Can I be one of your bridesmaids?" Hailey asked innocently, unknowing if she would receive such an honor. Hailey had only known Skye for about a month and a half, but they had gotten along very well.

"Hailey, you deserve it." The cockapoo reassured her.

"Have you thought of anyone else? You need three more." The mountain rescue dog reminded the bride.

"Ace already volunteered herself." Skye remembered.

"She did?" The two girls gasped in surprise.

"Yeah. She actually helped Chase with his proposal! She flew a giant sign past me so when I turned around, he's standing right behind me and giving me this!" replied the pilot, showing off her flower ring once more.

"That's so nice of her." Everest remarked.

"You should ask Liberty to be one!" Hailey remembered out loud.

"Oh my god, you're right! I just hope she isn't too busy with being the mayor of a giant megatropolis." Skye admitted, worried that she wouldn't make the wedding. Liberty had ran for election as the mayor of Adventure City a few months back, and won in a landslide. Since then, she has kept an extremely busy schedule, rarely taking days off in her quest to make Adventure City the best it could be.

"Don't worry, she'll cut time out for you. You helped save Adventure City, so she'll repay you big time." The golden retriever reassured the pilot, easing her worries.

"That only leaves one left…" The husky remarked. The three began to think very hard. Skye didn't know many women that would step up to be that last bridesmaid, because she didn't know many very well. But one stuck out in her mind.

"Katie!" The three girls exclaimed to each other.

"I'd be pretty sure that's a great bridesmaid group right there." The german shepherd spoke up.

"Thanks, Chase. You have a fine group of men with you as well." Skye answered back.

"So, there's one thing that I have been meaning to ask you for a while now. Haven't you planned anything for your honeymoon at all?" Rocky asked the very lucky couple.

"Yeah. Here, I'll show you guys." Chase announced, showing off the honeymoon tickets right in front of them.

"YOU'RE GOING TO FRANCE?!" The canines blurted out.

"She's never been there, and has always wanted to go. It just made sense to me." the german shepherd replied.

"You guys are LUCKY!" Hailey smiled.

"Better bring us some photos." The chocolate labrador smirked.

"We're gonna take so many, trust me." The cockapoo chuckled. Just imagining the many attractions they would visit…the Eiffel Tower, the Palace of Versailles and the streets of the country almost sent her into a dreamy nirvana.

"Man, you guys are going to Europe. I…I can't." Marshall sighed, his head still not wrapping around itself that Chase was really pulling out the stops.

"Is the wedding the day before your honeymoon commences?" Jasen asked.

"You got that right, kiddo." Chase replied.

"That's 29 days from now! You guys sure you can plan all this wedding stuff before then?" Rocky asked them, slightly worried that a rushed wedding would not be the best idea.

"I've heard that dog weddings are actually pretty easy to plan for." Chase replied, easing the mix's worries.

"You gotta tell us about the croissants and the berets and stuff. You got your French down?" Everest smirked to her best pal.

"Not just the basics. I've been learning French for a long time." The cockapoo said, cocky expression painted on her face. Ever since Francois, Captain Turbot's cousin, first came to Adventure Bay when she was a pup, Skye had been very enamored with French culture. She studied the dialect that Francois spoke in, the art he made, and he even taught her a few things about speaking the language of love. She was so fluent in it that it was almost her second language, but rarely ever used it in front of anyone except her friends and Francois himself.

"Say something, then." Hailey encouraged the cockapoo.

"Alright. Chase, tu es l'amour de ma vie." spoke the pilot, turning to her lover. The words filtered through him like velvet fabric, an angelic voice that found the harp in his heart and stung it softly yet effectively.

"What does that mean?" Hailey asked.

"It means that Chase is the love of my life." Skye answered innocently.

"The French seems to be working. Look at him!" Rubble laughed, turning to Chase. He was absolutely flabbergasted, eyes wide and staring at the cockapoo with unadulterated bliss.

"He loves it when I talk that way." Skye turned to her fiance, giving him a flirtatious look. For a second, he was lost in her entrancing eyes.

"Yeah…I…I can't believe how perfectly fluent it is." stuttered the german shepherd, completely love-struck by her yet once again.

"Hey, Ryder! What do you think of all this? I mean, you've been quiet the whole time." Jasen asked the boy, who was sitting across the room. He had indeed been silent. But he had been smiling the whole time.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just taking it all in," Ryder began. "I have watched you two grow up together from the point of you both being little to seeing you now as adults. Chase, Skye, I couldn't have imagined you two being an item back when you guys were 7. When you two went on your first date, I was a little worried that there would be disagreements and drama while you guys were doing missions and such, being that you both were dating. Even if you two were in rough patches, you always kept things professional, but that doesn't matter to me. I had no idea that your love for each other would come all the way to this years ago. And now…that you two are fully grown and are ready to take the next step in your lives…I can't be more proud of you guys." Ryder sniffled, tears falling down his face as he embraced them. The pups howled for almost a minute with pure happiness-after weeks of anticipation, Chase and Skye were tying the knot.

"Do you guys have any ideas on where the wedding should be?" The boy asked them.

"There's a hill near the sunflower field." Skye told the boy.

"We could just do it at the park across town." Chase interjected.

"Oh my god, that's such a good idea! Never thought about it." The cockapoo spoke up.

"It would be so convenient for everybody to come." pointed out Everest.

"And the lookout right here? That's where the reception should be." The police dog proclaimed, cheers emanating from his pals.

"You're absolutely right on that!" agreed Rubble.

"One more question for the both of you…I've had a long day…did you two settle on bridesmaids and groomsmen?" Ryder asked the soon-to-be-married couple.

"You're looking at the groomsmen right in front of you." The German shepherd replied calmly.

"What about you, Skye?" Ryder asked the pilot.

"Everest is gonna be my maid of honor. Hailey, Ace, Liberty and Katie are gonna be my other bridesmaids." the cockapoo told the boy.

"Excellent. We'll do more planning tomorrow morning. Anyways, I gotta go to bed." Ryder yawned as he walked to the elevator, bidding goodbyes to his pups and their friends. Ryder was very excited about the wedding, but nervous about it as well: mainly because he never planned one before. But, luckily for him, Katie was actually pretty good at planning these things (she actually went to several canine weddings in other cities for planning purposes), so her influence would make his life easier.

He just felt that the wedding for Skye and Chase would be a great day not only for them, but for the whole PAW Patrol and the grander community at large. But for now, he had to get some shuteye.
