Love at first sight

Chapter one

Kate sat alone on the beach. Her head was spinning. Her lies, his face, the smile that made her melt. Most importantly the kiss. He made her feel like no one else did, or ever had. Not even Tom. Tom came into her mind. She had loved him- so much. She felt stronger for the new man in her life. So it was love. Kate finally admitted to herself she loved Jack. It was hard for her to imagine, let alone let him know. She had managed to hurt or kill everyone she loved. Even Tom, her first love. She loved Jack too much to hurt him; it would hurt her if she didn't tell him. Come on Kate you are being selfish again. Jack is more important than your own feelings. Kate thought for a moment, she looked at the sea and at her surroundings. Loving him is selfish. So many people have died in this plane crash; and you are in love with someone. That's slightly wrong Kate even for you. She was so busy thinking that she didn't see Jack come up and sit next to her.

"Hi."

"Oh, hi Jack didn't see you there." God he's fit, ok Kate your mind is wondering again. Oh my god he's not wearing a shirt, wow he has a lot of muscles. Kate smiled.

"Ok, did you hear a thing I just said?"

"Sorry what?" Kate said with a lot of sincerity in her voice.

"Me and Locke are going hunting tomorrow, do you want to come?"

"Sure." Are you mad of course I do, any excuse to be with you. Ok I need to stop thinking… and looking at his body or I'll get turned on and that will not look good.

"Ok, I'll see you at the caves at dawn, ok?"
"Ok." Jack got up. "Bye Jack." She said flirtingly, Jack looked back and smiled. Ok, I sounded like a desperate teenager. Great!
