The next morning, at the Loud House
Lincoln was in the dining room speaking to his mom.
Lincoln: Yeah I'm doing fine, mom. It's just kind of dull here without other people around. Other than the pets.
Rita's voice: I know. I'm sorry Lincoln. But with Lori in college, of course the rest of your sisters having they're overnight activities and me and your father in Hawaii on vacation, we needed someone to watch over the house while we're all gone. And you looked like just the right person for the job.
Lincoln: Yeah. I guess so.
Rita's voice: I'm sure your sisters will be home sometime today. And Lori's coming home from college for spring break.
Lincoln: That's good. Also there's something you should now. (Rubs the back of his head) I kind of did something I shouldn't have done last night.
Rita's voice: What happened?
Lincoln: Well you know how you said we're not supposed to go swimming at night?
Rita's voice: Oh no. Did you go for a swim last night?
Lincoln: (Sheepishly) Well yes and no. Yes, I went into the pool. No, not just for a swim. You see, I heard a big splash come from the pool and there was a cat in there. So I jumped in to rescue it.
Sonic was listening to his conversation with his mother from the living room laying on the couch. He was annoyed being called a cat.
Rita's voice: (Sighs) Well you have a big heart sweetie. I'm kind of disappointed you did something like that.
Lincoln: Sorry mom.
Rita's voice: Well I'll let that slide for now since you had a reason for it. But just promise you won't do something like that again.
Lincoln: I promise.
Rita's voice: Good. Well I'm gonna get going. You're father and I are going to see the town. I'll talk to you and the girls soon. Be good Lincoln.
Lincoln: Okay. Bye mom, love you.
Rita's voice: Love you sweetie. Be good.
He hangs up and puts his phone in his pocket. Then Sonic runs in and sits on the table.
Sonic: Take a good look Lincoln, I'm a hedgehog, not a cat!
Lincoln: I know. I'm sorry Sonic. But my mom wouldn't understand.
Sonic: Why wouldn't she?
Lincoln: Well first of all, she knows that I wouldn't risk diving into a pool in the middle of the night just to save a little hedgehog.
Sonic: Really?
Lincoln: What else could I say to her? I couldn't tell her or my dad that I saved a blue, talking hedgehog. Or else they would think I've become a nut case. That reminds me! Where and when did you learn how to talk, Sonic?
Sonic: Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have a very good answer because I don't remember.
Lincoln: Hm. (Pulls a bowl of cereal) Here. Eat something. You look famished.
Sonic: Well it's not a chili dog, but it'll do. (Eats it) So, how come you're here by yourself?
Lincoln: Well my parent's went to Hawaii for their vacation getaway. And my sisters are at they're activities. Different ones to be exacted.
Sonic: How many sisters do you have? 3? 4?
Lincoln: Try 10.
Sonic: (Eyes widen, spits his food out) 10 sisters?!
Lincoln: Yeah. That's the reacting I get from everyone.
Sonic: Dude. That's insane.
Lincoln: That's why this place is the Loud House.
Sonic: This entire town is called the Loud House?
Lincoln: No Sonic. Just this house. This town is called Royal Woods.
Sonic: So it's 1 boy and 10 girls?
Lincoln: Yes. But I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Sonic: (Smiles) I love how you think that. So your sisters, what are they like?
Lincoln: Well…From oldest to youngest. Lori's the oldest of the family but now she's in college in Great Lake City.
Sonic: You miss having her here?
Lincoln: Yeah. We all do. Anyway, she loves texting on her phone and playing golf. Leni is the second oldest in the family and now we have to rely on her now. However, she's not the brightest. She's into fashion.
Sonic. Eh. I'm not big on clothes. Only gloves and shoes.
Lincoln: Understandable. Then there's Luna. She's a rock star and my guardian. She and Leni both are. Luna can play any instrument you can think of. And has her own rock band.
Sonic: Nice. Rock and roll is my favorite music genre.
Lincoln: Mine to. Luan, she's a comedy girl and a real prankster.
Sonic: Ooh. A prankster huh? I like doing pranks myself. Only on the bad people.
Lincoln: (Laughs) However she goes overboard with them on April 1st.
Sonic: April fool's day?
Lincoln: Yep. I once had to set off all the pranks she set around the house to help protect a friend of mine.
Sonic: Wow. That's rough Linc.
Lincoln: You have no idea. There's also my athletic sister Lynn Jr. She's plays any type of sports. Except golf. She's also a rough house.
Sonic: (In his thoughts) Wow. She's almost like Knuckles.
Lincoln: One thing you gotta watch out for. If she has a blanket and asks whats worse than a Canadian microwave, don't ask what. Just walk away.
Sonic: Why? What happens if someone asks?
Lincoln: The answer to her question is…A Dutch Oven.
Sonic: Yuck. So she shoves them under the blanket and lets out a crack?
Lincoln: Yep.
Sonic: Sorry I asked.
Lincoln: Now we're at the youngest sisters. Lucy is the Goth girl of the family. She appears behind people unexpectedly.
Sonic: Geez. Talk about spooky.
Lincoln: There's also the Twins. Lana and Lola. Lana's a plumber girl and loves all animals. She tends to keep them as pets.
Sonic: So animals here are different then ones on my world.
Lincoln: I guess so. She's also a mud lover.
Sonic: Wow. Messy girl.
Lincoln: Anyway. Lola is a pageant queen. But one thing you gotta know is…DON'T make her angry. You wouldn't like her when she's angry.
Sonic: Oh, I know when not to make someone with a very high anger issue angry. (In his thoughts) Just like when Amy get angry.
Lincoln: There's also out prodigy sister Lisa. She's a scientist of the family and works with the science committee. She can build lots of machines.
Sonic: Wow. Just like my little bud. Those two would get along.
Lincoln: I'll bet. And last is out baby sister Lily. Well, she's 2 years old now, but she's still our adorable little sister. (Pulls out a picture of her and Lincoln together) See.
Sonic: (Looks at the pic, smiles) Aw. She does look like a little cutie.
Lincoln: Yeah she is. (Then his phone rang) Hold on. (Answers) Hello?
Lori's voice: Hi Linky.
Lincoln: (Smiles) Lori. Hey how's it going big sis? I miss you.
Lori's voice: Aw. I miss you to little bro. How've you been?
Lincoln: Good. How's college going for you?
Lori's voice: Great. But I really miss being at home.
Lincoln: Yeah. It'll be great to have you home for spring break. Everyone will be glad to see you. It just stinks mom and dad won't be here to see you come home.
Lori's voice: Yeah. They literally told me they're on a getaway. But I think its best we let them enjoy themselves.
Lincoln: Yeah I guess so.
Lori's voice: Well I just called to see how you were doing. Mom told me, you were by yourself at the house.
Lincoln: Yeah. Everyone's out of the house. It's just me. And the pets.
Lori's voice: And Lily?
Lincoln: Luna's taken her to Sam's so they could babysit her and Sam's little brother Simon.
Lori's voice: Okay. We'll I better get going. I got some more studying to do. Dad lent me money to order us pizza on my way home.
Lincoln: Great.
Lori's voice: Okay. I'll see you in a few days Lincoln.
Lincoln: Bye Lori. (Hangs up)
Sonic: So she's coming home from college?
Lincoln: Yep. I can't wait to see her. Last time I saw her was during Christmas.
3 hours later
Lincoln and Sonic were watching the news. And the topic was the night Sonic appeared.
Kathrine Mulligan: This is Katherine Mulligan reporting live at downtown Royal Woods. A strange event accord last night involving our local police force in pursuit of what appeared to be a giant blue hedgehog. They say it's speed was unbelievably incredible. (A video image shows Sonic running) The supersonic speed demon seen here on police helicopter video has all of the city baffled. It even had the ability to out run the S-team.
Lincoln: (Surprised) Wow. No wonder your name is Sonic. So you have super speed?
Sonic: Yep. No one can ever catch up with me.
Katherine Mulligan: Witnesses had these to say.
Police officer: It was about this high, it was blue and it looked like a freak!
Citizen 1: I was doing about 60 when this thing went "wooo" right by me!
Citizen 2: That thing moved too fast to be a regular animal!
Citizen 3: An animal wearing gloves and shoes? There's no way that thing could have been real.
Kathrine Mulligan: For now, it seems that the strange anthromorphic hedgehog has disappeared. But people are still concerned about what this thing could actually be. We asked animal expert, Doctor Kai Narasu for answers. Here he is now with a claim.
Doctor Kai Narasu: As to the question of whether this is a UMA, Unidentified Mutant Animal, it is positively not. Even the cheetah, which is widely believed to be the fastest member of the animal kingdom, cannot outrun a speeding Formula One police car. Because of this, the inescapable conclusion one must inevitably come to is that this so-called "hedgehog" is, in reality, a machine.
Lincoln: Why couldn't you explain yourself to them?
Sonic: They were more interested in capturing me.
Then the door opens revealing Lincoln's best friend Clyde McBride.
Clyde: Hey Lincoln. How's it going?
Lincoln: Oh hey Clyde. What's up?
Clyde: You not gonna believe it. Some blue hedgehog with incredible speed came out of nowhere last night and out ran the police. (Noticed Sonic on the couch) Huh? Blue…just like the…. (Surprised) Holy Shamoly! It's him! (Hyperventilates)
Lincoln: (Tries to calm him) Okay, Clyde calm down. Calm down. Where's your bag?
Clyde pulled out his bag and starts breathing in it to help calm himself down.
Sonic: (Concerned) Is he okay?
Lincoln: Yeah. Just give him a few seconds.
Clyde: (Takes deep breaths) Okay. Okay. I'm good. (Puts his back away) I can't believe it. He's actually here at your house.
Lincoln: I know. Isn't he cool?
Clyde: I'll say.
Lincoln: I think introduction is in order. Clyde, I like you to meet, Sonic the Hedgehog. (To Sonic) Sonic, this is my best friend, Clyde McBride.
Sonic: Hey Clyde.
Clyde: Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you. (To Lincoln) How come he's here?
Lincoln: He was escaping the police and the S-team last night, and when he made huge break for it he was launched into the air off the interstate. Then he fell right into our new pool. So I jumped in and saved him. Gave him a place to stay.
Clyde: Wait. Do your parent even know you have Sonic?
Lincoln: No. But I did tell them about the rescue. Only I said that Sonic was a cat.
Sonic: (Annoyed) Which I'm not by the way.
Lincoln: I know. I know.
Clyde: What about you're sisters? Do they even know?
Lincoln: No. If Lisa caught sight of him, she would believe what that Animal researcher said about him.
Clyde: About him being a machine?
Lincoln: Yeah.
Then the door opens revealing Lisa.
Lisa: Greeting Elder brother.
Lincoln: (Shocked) Oh…uh…Hey Lisa. How was your conference last night?
Lisa: Excellent. And the experimental hydro genic stabilizer was a brilliant success. But worry about that another time. You would not believe what accord last night. A supersonic blue hedgehog out ran the S-team.
She then noticed Sonic and looks at the TV and back at him to check for a resemblance. Then they got in each other's face while glaring.
Clyde: Oh boy.
Lincoln grabs a pillow and shoved Sonic under it while smiling nervously.
Sonic: Hey, cut it out, I can't breathe!
He forcibly removes the pillow and crossed his arms in annoyance. Then Lisa got another good look at him.
Lisa: Blue. Just like that… (Realized, smiles with excitement) - Ahhh... (Grabs Sonic) It's him!
Sonic: (Yelps) Whoa!
Clyde: Easy, Lisa
Lisa pulls out a screwdriver.
Lincoln: (Shocked) Lisa, what are you doing?!
Sonic yelps in being ticklish as Lisa tries to unscrew him.
Lisa: I must see how this contraption is assembled! Science must continue as you all know.
Sonic: (Jumps out of Lisa's headlock) STOP IT! (Lands on the ground)
Lisa: (Frustrated) STAND STILL YOU REMARKABLE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY!
Lincoln: (Stops her) Lisa, wait! He's not a machine. He's Sonic the Hedgehog!
Lisa was both surprised and fascinated by Sonic, she dropped the screwdriver.
Clyde: (Confused) She okay?
Lincoln: Wait for it.
Lisa: (Bursts with excitement) By Newton's ions! This is the most amazing discovery ever. (Looks over Sonic) However I'm disappointed it's not a piece of technology, but this is most fascinating. A humanoid based lifeform in the form of a hedgehog. A rare based being if I've ever seen one. Apologies my anthromorphic animal acquaintance. My name is Lisa Marie Loud.
Sonic: Nice to meet you. And I think it's okay to be friends.
Lisa: Astounding. He even communicates in human tongue. In simple terms he can speak our language.
Then Albert came in with a smile on his face.
Albert: Lincoln, Lisa!
Lincoln: (Smiles) Pop-pop!
Lisa: Ah. Grandfather. Welcome.
Albert hugs the two while chuckling.
Lincoln: You didn't tell me you were coming?
Albert: Well Lori comes home in a few days, so I figured I could stick around and help you kids around the house.
Lincoln: But what about your curfew?
Albert: No longer a problem Lincoln. Sue got fired and we got a better nurse to run the retirement home.
Lincoln: That's good. (Crossed his arms) I always hated her.
Lisa: (Nods in agreement) Yes. Her power over the seniors was unbearable.
Clyde: Hi Mister Jefferson.
Albert: Oh hello Clyde. (To Lincoln) And Lincoln, your mother called and told me you made an emergency rescue last night. You rescued a cat was what she said.
Lincoln: (Shrugs in nervousness) Well…It wasn't really a cat Pop-pop. It was more like…Don't freak out about this… (Points to Sonic) A blue hedgehog.
Albert: (Looks at Sonic, surprised) Oh my gosh! It's the hedgehog from last night!
Clyde: It's okay Mister Jefferson. He's not here to hurt anyone.
Lincoln: He's the one who fell into the pool last night. And I saved him and let him crash here.
Sonic: Is this man your grandfather?
Lincoln: Yes. This is our Pop-pop, Albert Jefferson. Pop-pop, I like you to meet our new friend, Sonic the Hedgehog.
Albert: Well I'll be. (Walks up to him) Hello Sonic. It's nice to meet you.
Sonic: (Shakes his hand) Ditto Albert.
Then the news came back on the TV.
Katherine Mulligan: Now let's go live to this late-breaking story.
Then they all hear what sounded like a scared sweet little girl's voice in distress.
Cream: Please!
Sonic turns to look and see Cream and Cheese crying in fear as they are being rescued by firefighters.
Clyde: (Eyes widen) Is that a rabbit? In a dress?
Cream: (Scared) Please, leave us alone!
Sonic: (Surprised and shocked) It's Cream and Cheese!
Lincoln: (Confused) It's who?
Sonic: I'm not the only one who got transported into this weird world after all. I'll save those two!
Lincoln and Clyde: Sonic, wait!
Sonic runs out of the house and off into the streets.
Lincoln: (Calls out) Do you even know where they are?
Sonic screeches to a halt, turns around, runs back, stops in front of Lincoln and shrugs as his way of say "I don't know."
In the garage
Lisa and Albert were on the phone with a military official.
Albert: I thought they probably do something along those lines. Well, thanks very much for giving me the scoop and I'll talk to you soon. (Hangs up the phone)
Clyde: Well?
Lisa: Well, it seems like Sonic's friends have been captured by the police and moved to Area 99.
Lincoln: Area 99?!
Albert: That's that top-secret military base! I once told you kids about that place when I was still in the army.
Lincoln: We remember.
Sonic: What?
Lincoln: It's where the national defense force keeps all their tanks, fighter jets, and high-tech spy equipment.
Sonic: That sounds like Eggman's kind of place!
Lisa: Your friends have been taken there by the army and placed under 24-hour guard. The authorities believe they could be aliens or perhaps members of a mutant species developed by an enemy power designed to attack our population. I wonder if they might not be right, Sonic, eh?
Sonic: Think what you want! I'm gone! Now I know where my friends are, I'm outta here! (Proceeds to walk out of the garage)
Clyde: But if you show up at Area 99, they'll lock you up too!
Sonic: They can't lock me up!
Suddenly, the garage door in front of Sonic closes much to Sonic's dismay.
Clyde: Well, until now.
Sonic: (Annoyed) Open that door!
Lincoln: Don't look at me, I didn't do it!
Clyde: Me neither.
Lisa: Heh, it was I!
Sonic: Why?
Lisa: You're going to need some assistance, Sonic. I'll go with you!
Lincoln: Lisa, are you serious?!
Lisa: Of course I'm serious and you're coming along, too. You told me and our sister units that you don't want to live a boring life. So here's your chance for some excitement!
Albert: I'm going with you three as well. I can get you two there. I still remember where it is.
Lincoln: Well, if you're up for it, I'm up for it! Just don't tell mom and dad about this!
Lisa: Noted.
Clyde: What can I do to help? My dad's won't let me go anywhere out of the Royal Woods area without a good reason.
Lisa: You can stay here a monitor us from my computers.
Lincoln: Alright, let's get going!
The grandfather, 2 Loud's and hedgehog hopped into Albert car and drove off leaving Clyde.
Clyde: (Waves) Good luck you guys! (To himself) I hope Sonic will be able to save those two.
Then someone walked up behind Clyde.
Voice: Did you say Sonic? As in Sonic the Hedgehog?
Clyde looked at the source of the voice and gasped in surprise from what he saw.
Sonic, Lincoln, Lisa and Albert are then seen in the middle of a deserted road driving out to Area 99.
Sonic: (Grows impatient) It's gonna take forever to get there! I rather just go by myself!
Albert: Just relax Sonic!
Lincoln: (Holding a device) Is it time, Lis?
Lisa: (Nods) The time has approached male sibling unit!
Lincoln: (Gives Sonic an Infrared Scope) Put this on buddy.
Sonic: (Puts it on) What's this?
Lisa: An Infrared Scope. I'm certain that Area 99 is full of infrared motion detectors that set off security alarms. If you wear that, you may be able to avoid them.
Sonic: (Smirks and gives a thumbs up) Em hm. [Unbuckles his seatbelt, Jumps off the car and runs off.] See ya later, guys!
They all see him run off at high speed. Lincoln was excited seeing him go into action.
Lisa: Amazing speed.
Albert: He certainly is a speedy little critter, isn't he? (Cheers in excitement) YEAH!
Lincoln: Follow that hedgehog Pop-pop!
Albert steps on the accelerator pedal hard to keep up with Sonic.
At Area 99
The security are observing a researcher who walks towards a laboratory. He then stands in front of an eye-scanner to validate his identity.
Area 99 mainframe: Identification number: F219563. Confirmed.
[The door opens for the researcher to proceed through. Inside, Cream and Cheese are inside some sort of a scanning tube device.]
Cream: We didn't do anything, please let us out! [She is then examined by a camera.] What kind of place is this? Cheese, we've gotta get out of here!
The camera conducts further examination while Cream looks out in fear.
Back outside the facility
Sonic is still making his way towards Area 99.
Lincoln's voice: Sonic, can you hear us?
Sonic: Yeah!
Lisa's voice: Remember, when you get to the main building, go in through an air vent. That should be a blind spot for security. Got it?
Sonic: Got it!
Lincoln: But Lisa, after he gets inside, how will he find where his friends are?
Albert: (Takes the communicator from the two) Let me talk to him you two. (Into the communicator) Listen to me, Sonic! Once you head inside, you won't have much time so think quickly and act quickly!
Lincoln: Pop-pop, what if he doesn't?
Sonic: Thanks for the tip. I'm going in!
Sonic jumps over the large gate of Area 99. Security cameras sense that an intruder has arrived and scan everywhere to look for Sonic.
Inside the facility
Area 99 mainframe: Intruder alert, sector D. Intruder alert, sector D.
The alert got all the worker and agents suspicious.
Back outside
Sonic: (Runs past a security camera and jumps into an air vent) Okay. I'm inside the air vent.
Back with Lincoln's group
Lincoln: Be careful.
Sonic made down the shaft, but not in a smooth landing.
Sonic: (Rubs his butt) It feels like I have skid marks on my butt.
As he looks through the Inferred Scanner and saw security beams inside the vents. Then he
Lincoln: How's it looking there, Sonic?
Sonic: Just great. (Looks down at the moving security cameras) This will be piece of cake! [Drops down to the corridor and moves from wall to wall while avoiding the cameras) I'm too fast for them! (Looks at the next section of the corridor filled with security cameras) Heads up!
Sonic repeats the same action to navigate through the section.
Everyone in the control center were still watching the monitors for the intruder.
Area 99 mainframe: Searching for intruder. Searching for intruder. Searching for intruder.
Outside the Facility in the distance
Albert and the two Loud kids looked out at the base on the cliffs so they wouldn't be spotted. As they stayed there, they hoped for Sonic to be able to rescue Cream and Cheese.
Lincoln: I hope Sonic's okay.
Lisa: I'm sure our supersonic hedgehog friend is well.
Albert: I've never felt like this ever since I was younger.
Lincoln: (Calls Clyde on his walkie talkie) How's it looking on your end Clyde?
Back at the Loud House
Clyde was watching on Lisa's monitors as Lisa hacked into Area 99's security cameras.
Clyde: So far so good. The cameras don't see Sonic. He must be moving from wall to wall as they change direction.
Lincoln's voice: That's good.
Clyde: I still can't believe how crazy this is. There are more just like him.
Lincoln's voice: I know. It's crazy but awesome.
Clyde: Yeah. Let's hope he can pull this off. You guys be careful out there and come home safe.
Voice: Where are they at Clyde?
Clyde's eyes widen and he turns around and saw the rest of Lincoln's sisters minus Lori at Lisa's doorway.
Leni: Like what's going on in here?
Lana: What are you doing Clyde?
Lynn: Where are Lincoln and Lisa?
Clyde: Um….They're um….
Lola: They're where? (Gives him the stink eye) You better answer us mister!
Lucy: The great spirits tell me they are somewhere forbidden.
Lana: Are they committing a crime.
Luan: (Looks at the monitors) Is that some sort of military base?
Luna: Clyde, please tell us what's going on. What are Lincoln and Lisa doing?
The girls were desperately wanting an answer.
Clyde: (Sighs in defeat) They're at Area 99.
Lynn: What?!
Lana: Isn't that that military base Pop-pop once told us about? The one that holds tank, fighter jets and spy equipment?
Luan: I spy something fishy about that. (Laughs) Get it?
Everyone groans at that joke.
Lola: Are they there by themselves?
Clyde: No. You're Pop-pop took them with him.
Leni: Why are they there?
Clyde: (Nervous) Well….you guys saw the news this morning?
Lana: About that blue hedgehog with crazy speed?
Leni: And that cute, scared little bunny girl in the dress?
Clyde: Yeah. They went there to help him get that girl and little friend of hers out of that base.
Luna: (Eyes widen) Wait! The blue hedgehog was here?
Luan: In our house?!
Clyde: Um… (Smiles nervously) Yes.
Lynn to tell us that our grandfather, little bro and little sis are at a government place right now helping that blue hedgehog rescue a rabbit?!
Clyde: Yes.
Lana: (Cheers) AWESOME! WE GOT A NEW PET! I'll love him, and bathe him and call him George.
Lincoln's voice: I can hear everything going on there. I'm sorry Lana, but he already has a name and he's not a pet. And really? George is best name you could come up with?
Lana: (In defeat) Dang it.
Lily: (Calls out) Hi Winky!
Back outside Area 99
Lincoln: (Smiles) Hi Lily!
Lisa: (Speaks to them) Sister units, I'm aware you are all shocked, surprised and a bit confused right now. But rest assured, We'll explain everything once us, the said hedgehog and the anthromorphic rabbit return.
Albert: Don't you worry girls. I know the place. I'll keep watch over these two.
Leni's voice: (Sighs in relief) Thanks Pop-pop.
Luna's voice: Be careful out there dudes.
Lincoln: We will. (Looks out at the base) I'm just more worried about Sonic being careful.
Back in the laboratory
The tube holding Cream and Cheese is sealed with a binder to perform more scans. It was really starting to scare and overwhelm the two. The researchers are supposedly surprised by their results.
Cream: (Holding Cheese close, scared) I don't like this...
Cheese cries in worry.
Outside the lab
Sonic made his way to the door leading into the Laboratory where they are holding Cream and Cheese.
Sonic: (In his head) Hmm, maybe that's where they are. I have to get inside and check it out, but this won't be easy. If it was just me, I could get out quick, but if I have to bring Cream and Cheese with me, I can't get too reckless.
Suddenly, the power of Area 99 goes out as the facility's lights stopped functioning to Sonic's surprise.
Area 99 mainframe: Abnormality detected in the electrical system. Abnormality detected in the electrical system.
All the researchers were shocked that everything in the base going offline.
Area 99 researcher 1: Ah great.
Area 99 researcher 2: Now we can't see anything!
Back at the Loud House
The Loud's and Clyde watched the cameras turn off.
Luan: Talk about going out of range. (Laughs) But seriously, what just happened?
Lucy: All the cameras went out.
Lynn: How are we gonna tell if the hedgehog got caught.
Clyde: I think this was part of the plan. So this is what he meant by help out.
Lola: (Confused) Who told you?
Clyde: A little friend of mine. You'll see soon
Back at the bases lab
Sounds of glass breaking can be heard alerting the researchers.
Area 99 researcher 3: (Alerted) What the-?!
Area 99 researcher 4: (Saw Cream and Cheese were out of the tube and gone) Hey, where'd they go?!
Sonic was hiding behind the machine with Cream and Cheese
Cream: (Happy) Sonic-
Sonic: (Quietly) Shh!
Cheese hugs Sonic, making him laugh.
Area 99 researcher 3: (Hears the laughing) Over there!
Sonic: (To Cream) Let's go!
Cream: (Nods) Right.
She grabs Cheese and runs off with Sonic.
In the bases electrical systems
Some electricians appear and find that the power wires were struck with tiny mechanical airplanes.
Head electrician: What are these things? Somebody has sabotaged the whole system! Boys, let's move it! We need the power back now!
The electricians began working on getting the power back on.
Out in the halls
Sonic and Cream are running through the dark corridor.
Cream: Wow, Sonic! How did you shut off all of the electricity?
Sonic: I didn't do it, Cream! I guess it just happened!
Cream: (Smiles) Maybe it just happened because you bring good luck everywhere you go, Sonic!
Sonic: (Smiles at her compliment) You might be right!
Then the lights turn back on much to Sonic and Cream's horror. As the power is restored and the security cameras are looking at them.]
Cream: (Scared, felt guilty) I shouldn't have said anything. This must be a jinx!
Sonic: (Keeps her behind him) This isn't your fault.
[The security cameras reveal laser weapons on top of them.]
Sonic: Cream, hang on!
Cream: Right.
[The laser security cameras fire their lasers at Sonic and Cream but they avoid getting hit by the lasers.]
Back at the Loud House
The monitors showed the cameras coming back online much to the girls and Clyde's shock.
Luna: (Shocked) Dude! How'd the get the power back?!
Lynn: Uh oh. The camera can see them. Look!
They see Sonic and Cream run through the halls while dodging the lasers.
Lola: (Shocked) THEY HAVE LASERS?! THOSE CAMERAS HAVE LASERS!
Luan: That's a Blast. (Laughs) But seriously. This isn't good.
Clyde: (Worried) GO SONIC! GO!
Outside, Lincoln, Lisa and Albert hear the alarm go off.
Albert: (Concerned) Oh that can't be good
Lincoln: Sonic, what's going on?! Are you and your friends alright?!
Back inside the base
Sonic: Not exactly.
They still kept running while dodging.
Back outside the base
Lincoln: (Giving Clyde a call) Clyde, what's going?!
Back at the Loud House
Clyde: (Answers) The power suddenly turn back and now Sonic and that rabbit are being fired at by the cameras.
Lincoln's voice: (Shocked) WHAT?! THOSE CAMERAS HAVE LASERS?!
Lisa's voice: It is a high level tech military base after all.
Lynn: Can't you just shut them off from where you Lisa?!
Lisa's voice: Negative. My hacking systems needs to be within close range of the base. If we get any closer, they're fire at us.
Back outside the base
Albert: (Speaks through the communicator) Sonic, you three gotta get out of there!
Back in the base
Sonic and Cream kept running as the lasers fired. Sonic saw he didn't have any other choice. So he let go of Cream as they ran.
Cream: (Confused) Sonic-
Sonic: Run! (Jumps onto a laser camera which he uses to shoot down the other laser cameras) Keep running!
Cream: Right! (Continues running)
In the surveillance room
The workers were shocked at seeing some camera getting smashed and the intruder and they're prisoners were getting away.
Area 99 mainframe: D2 area lockdown in progress.
Back out in the halls
The doors of Area 99 begin closing one by one. Cream is about to approach one that is just about to close.
Cream: (Worried) The door! We can't make it out!
Sonic rushes to Cream's aid and just speeds past the closing door. In the next room, they encounter more laser security cameras.
Back at the Loud House
Lucy: They're goners now. I always wanted to plan a funeral for a hedgehog.
Lola: (Deadpan) Even for one that's blue?
Clyde: No one is dying. Not while we're in charge. (Speaks into an earpiece) Send them in. Take out the cameras.
Back at Area 99
Sonic glared hard at the amount of cameras pointing at him and Cream
Cream: (Notices something approaching from the other end of the room) Hey, what are they?
Sonic and Cream watch the paper airplanes knock the laser security cameras out of their stands in surprise.
Back at the Loud House
The girls were surprised and shocked at what just happened. Clyde had a satisfied look on his face.
Clyde: Bingo.
Leni: I thought we were helping animals. We don't even have bingo cards.
Everyone just looked at Leni while Luan pats her head.
Lana: I don't know what just happened. But I'm glad something did.
Luna: Ditto Lans.
Back at Area 99
Cream: (Confused) I don't understand. What's going on?!
Sonic: We can't stick around to find out!
Sonic and Cream come run to the next door that they just managed to pass through before it closes.
Back in the security surveillance room
Monitors begin blanking themselves as the personnel struggle with losing control of the base.
Area 99 mainframe: Facility lockdown in progress. Facility lockdown in progress. (Shutting down) Facility lockdown in progress.
The power of the facility is cut off once again. Some of the laser security platforms attack in a random manner, destroying walls.
Area 99 guard: (Overwhelmed) The laser surveillance cameras are out of control!
In the staircase
Sonic and Cream now run up the stairs to get to the roof all while avoiding more lasers from the remaining security cameras.
Cream: (Worried) Sonic, are we going to make it out?
Sonic: Don't worry, we'll make it!
A laser security camera destroys a staircase where Cream was standing. Cream screams as she almost falls, only to still hold onto Sonic's hand. Sonic realizes that the room will not hold out for much longer. With all his might, Sonic carries Cream and Cheese, and jumps from one broken staircase to another until they reach the top.
Sonic: (Winks to Cream, smirks) See, Cream, I told you we'd make it, and we did! You didn't doubt me, did ya?
Cream: [Shakes her head, smiles] Thank you for saving us!
Sonic: Ah, anytime, Cream. Anytime. [Suddenly hears a plane droning] Huh, what's that? (Takes off the headset and leans his ear on the wall.
Back outside the base
Lincoln, Lisa and Albert were still waiting for Sonic to come back. But then they hear the plane too.
Lincoln: (Confused) Uh, Lisa? Pop-pop? Do you guys hear that?
Albert: (Looks around) Yeah.
Lisa: (Saw something) There's the source of the noise!
The look up and saw it to.
Lincoln: What is that?
Clyde's voice: (On Lincoln's walkie talkie) Sorry. I forgot to mention this earlier. After you guys left, I met a new friend who's agreed to help us out. And this dude knows how to fly.
Back at the base
The Tornado 2 was flying around outside Area 99.
Inside the base
Sonic: (Smiles) Sounds like a plane. The Tornado!
Outside the facility
Tails was piloting the Tornado and look down at the base.
Tails: !
Tails: This must be the place.
Back outside the base
Lincoln was looking through binoculars at the plane.
Albert: What do you see kiddo?
Lincoln: It looks like….(Looks closely) A fox flying the plane.
Lisa: (Fascinated) Amazing. First an anthromorphic hedgehog, then a rabbit, and now a fox.
Back at the base
Sonic holds Cream and Cheese as they smash through the roof and toward the Tornado.
Tails: (Cheers) Alright, Sonic!
Tails flies closer to Sonic so that he can land on the plane with Cream.
Sonic: (Smiles to Tails) Hey!
Tails: (Waves) Ha ha!
Cream: It was you! You are the one who helped us get out of there!
Tails: (Winks) I helped, but Sonic is the real hero!
Outside the base
Lincoln: (Cheers) WOO HOO! WAY TO GO SONIC!
Lisa: Congratulations my blue hedgehog friend.
Lincoln: (Speaks to Clyde) Mission accomplished Clyde.
Back at the Loud House
Lincoln's voice: Repeat. Mission Accomplished.
Clyde: (Cheers) Alright!
The girls cheered in excitement and victory.
Back in the desert
Albert: Okay kids. Let's head on home.
Albert turns the car on and drive him and the two back to the Loud House. Sonic saw them heading back.
Sonic: Tails, follow that car!
Tails: You got it Sonic!
He flies the Tornado away from the base and they follow the others back to the Loud House.
Back at the Loud House
Albert pulls the car in and the three hop out. Then Clyde and girls came out to welcome them back.
Clyde: Way to go guys!
Luna: (Hugs Lincoln) Nice work little bro.
Lana: Glad you guys made out alright.
Lola: If you guys didn't, who was gonna be my butler and do homework for me?
Everyone: (Glares at her) LOLA!?
Luan: Not funny.
Lynn: (Looks around) So where's the hedgehog.
Lincoln: (Points) Here they come now.
They all see the Tornado come down and land in front of the house.
The girls: (Amazed) Whoa.
Then Sonic, Tails and Cream hop out and walk up to them.
Leni: (Surprised) O.M. Gosh! It's him!
Lincoln: Way to go buddy!
Sonic: You to Lincoln. (Noticed the girls) Are these the rest of your sisters?
Lincoln: That's right. (To his sisters) Girls, I like you all to meet my new friend. Sonic the Hedgehog.
Lynn: Sonic huh? I like it.
Lana: (Looks at Sonic) Wow. You're so cool!
Leni: I like you're shoes.
Lola: Eh. Kind of tacky.
Sonic: Let me see. You must be Leni.
Leni: Like totes cool to meet you.
Sonic: Luna.
Luna: Sup hedgehog dude?
Sonic: Luan?
Luan: (Holds her hand out) Put her there Sonic.
Sonic: (Grabs her hand, got shocked) Ah!
Luan: (Laughs) It's electrifying to meet you to.
Sonic: (Laughs) Classic. (Chuckles) I'll get you for that. (To Lynn) I take it you're Lynn.
Lynn: You know it. The one and only Lynn Loud Jr. Toughest girl in the world.
Sonic: (Smirks) You up for a race later?
Lynn: (Grins) Oh ho. You're on.
Lucy: (Appears behind Sonic, Tails and Cream) Hi.
Sonic, Tails and Cream: (Jumped and screamed in fright)
Tails: (Recovering) Where did you come from?
Lucy: I was standing here the whole time.
Sonic: (Deep breathes) So…you must be Lucy.
Lucy: Yes. If you have anything dead on you, I will take it off your hands and bury it in the yard.
Cream: (Backs away in fear) Ooooh. Please don't scare us like that.
Albert: Now Lucy, let's not frighten our guest.
Lucy: Sigh.
Sonic: (To the Twins) Ah, the twins. (Points to Lana) I hear you love animals Lana.
Lana: (Smiles) I sure do Sonic. (Looks over him) Wow. I can't believe you're actually a giant blue hedgehog.
Sonic: (Pats her head, chuckles) I can tell we'll all get along with you. (To Lola) Lola. The little pageant queen.
Lola: (Leers) Don't go shedding those quills or poop all over my stuff hedgehog boy.
Sonic: (Annoyed) One, I can clean up after myself if my quills fall off, and two, why would I do that? That's disgusting.
Lola: Just keep that in mind, and we won't have a problem.
Sonic: I'll remember that.
Lily: (Amazed by Sonic) Hi miswer Sonic.
Loud's, Albert, Tails and Cream: Awwww.
Sonic: (Chuckles) Aw. (Rubs her head) It's nice to meet you too Lily. You sure are cute. And you can just call me Sonic.
Lily: (Giggles) Sonic.
Luan: (To Lincoln) You told him about us?
Lincoln: Yep. (To Tails, Cream and Cheese) Hey there. My name is Lincoln Loud. Sonic fell into our pool last night, so I jumped in and saved him.
Clyde: I'm Clyde McBride. Lincoln's best friend.
Lisa: Lisa Marie Loud. Please to meet you're acquaintance.
Tails: My names Tails and I'm Sonic's very best buddy! Right, Sonic?
Sonic: (Proudly) Correct.
Luna: (Saw his twin tails) Whoa. I see why. You have two tails.
Lisa: Fascinating. Birth Defect?
Tails: (Shrugs) Eh…Not exactly.
Cream: My name is Cream and this is my very special Chao friend, Cheese. Thanks for saving us.
Lincoln: It was our pleasure Cream.
Leni: O. . You're so cute Cream.
Lola: (Smiles with glee) You really are,
Cream: (Smiles) Thank you Leni and Lola.
Luan: All we need now is the sugar! (Laughs) Get it?
Everyone except Cream, and Albert groan.
Lily: (Hugs Cheese) New fwiends.
Lincoln: And this is our Grandfather or as we call him Pop-pop. Albert Jefferson.
Albert: Hello. It's nice to meet you two.
Tails: Feelings mutual Albert.
Lisa: (Examines the little paper airplanes that helped Sonic) Extraordinary. Tiny, radio-controlled airplanes. Extraordinary. Such a unique looking piece of technology.
Tails: We got lots of neat gadgets.
Luna: Rockin
Lincoln: (Scolds Sonic) Listen, Sonic! This isn't some game we're playing, you know. You could've gotten all of us thrown in jail!
Leni: (Pats his shoulder) Now calm down Linky.
Sonic: Maybe I could've, but I didn't, did I?
Lincoln: (Sighs) Couldn't you try to be more careful?
All sonic did was shrug.
Lynn: Hey Stinkoln! If he hadn't, then you would have been tossed in the clink!
Lincoln: (Glares at Lynn) Stop calling me Stinkoln! It's not funny! If I did, then so would all of you!
Lisa: (Still on the mini airplanes) This is an amazing piece of equipment. It goes beyond anything I have ever seen. How did you develop it?
Tails: It's nothing special. Not in the world we come from.
Lisa: (Eger to know more) And where is exactly that world, Tails?
Tails: Beats me, but I think we got here through a warp in time and space.
Lisa: Hmm, very interesting. Not very helpful, but interesting.
Clyde: Cut him some slack Lis. He's trying the best he could.
Tails: I just thought of something. (To Sonic) If you and me and Cream and Cheese are here, maybe the others got here too.
Sonic: (Thinks) You might be right about that, Tails, and if you are, that means, maybe...
He flashbacked to seeing Eggman with the red Chaos Emerald. Back in reality, the three realized in shock.
Sonic, Tails and Cream: Eggman's here too!
The Loud's, Albert and Clyde stood there confused.
Lincoln: I'm sorry. Did you guys say an egg man?
Leni: What's wrong with eggs?
Lucy: I sense there is something dark among us.
Clyde: (Nervous) Uh…is this something we should be worried about?
Lincoln: Sonic, whose Eggman?
Sonic: Eggman is our arch enemy.
Tails: He a doctor who specializes in robotic and at the verge of building his Eggman Empire.
Lincoln: So he's evil?
Sonic and Tails: Yes.
Lynn: Oh boy.
Albert: This is very bad kids.
Lincoln: (Overwhelmed) Great. First there are humanoid like animals appearing in our town and now there's a mad robotic scientist on the loose in our world.
Lily: (Nervous) Uh oh.
Sonic: Mad scientist is putting it lightly.
Lana: What are we gonna do?
Lola: We can't have this guy turn our home into his empire.
Lincoln: Don't worry. We won't let him. (To Sonic) Sonic, I won't let Eggman take control of our planet.
Sonic: Lincoln, this isn't your fight.
Lincoln: (Puts his hand on Sonic's shoulder) When a mad scientist is thwarting to claim my home? That makes it my fight.
Lynn: No. (Cracks her knuckles) It makes it all our fight.
Luan: Let's crack that Eggman wide open! Literally!
Luna: I'll rock him so hard, he'll lose his hearing.
Lucy: I will have him sent to the depths of the earth.
Lisa: I can provide informational support to counter attack this Doctor Eggman.
Lana and Lola: Down with Eggman!
Lily: Eggy man (Blows a raspberry)
Clyde: You can count on us Sonic!
Leni: Totes.
Sonic, Tails, Cream and Cheese smile at they're determination. Albert smiles and nods to them feeling proud of them.
Sonic: Thanks guys.
He and Lincoln high five each other.
On an island outside of Royal Woods
Dr. Eggman's fortress was not located on a deserted island. Floating orb-shaped robots surround the tower at various heights, some occasionally turning to observe the area.
Inside Eggman's Fortress
Eggman was monitoring all of Royal Woods and makes a wide grin.
Dr. Eggman: So, we were transported into this world by Chaos Control. Very well then, I'll rebuild the foundation of the Eggman Empire here, and soon I will rule the entire universe! (Evil laughs)
Eggman was ready to start his new plans to take over the world and forge a new Eggman Empire.
There you have it. Lincoln Introduced Sonic to Clyde, Albert and his sisters. (Minus Lori) Sonic rescued Cream and Cheese and reunited with Tails. But now they have to deal with Eggman in that world to. What does Eggman plan to do? Where are Amy and Knuckles? And what might Lori think of Sonic and the others? Find out next time.
