Happy New Year everyone. I just hope it will get happy since Omni whatever is going in at my home state. Enough about that. It's that time again. Let's see what Lincoln, Sonic and the others are doing today.
The next day at the Loud House
Everyone was in the living room processing everything Sonic and the others told the Loud's. Lisa was taking notes to help her learn more about what they're talking about.
Lincoln: So this Chaos Control created a warp in Time and Space and that's how you guys ended up here. Hmmm, I think we understand that much, but I still don't understand these Chaos Emeralds you guys are talking about.
Lana: Yeah. What are the Chaos Emeralds?
Tails: You never heard of the Chaos Emeralds? Boy, you really do have a lot to learn, don't ya!
Amy: Each Chaos Emerald is filled with a magical power.
Lola: (Eyes sparkle with glee) Really?!
Amy: Yes. So you could imagine what would happen if you found all seven of 'em.
Lucy: Wicked.
Lisa: (Adjusts her glasses) But no-one has ever found all seven emeralds and now it's highly improbable that anyone ever will find them.
Cream: Why is that?
Lisa: Well, you see, Cream, every one of the precious Chaos Emeralds has disappeared.
Sonic: That doesn't mean they're gone for good!
Lynn: What do you mean Sonic?
Sonic: Anytime the seven Chaos Emeralds come together in one place, they scatter and disappear all over again!
Luna: Then that means they're still out there someplace.
Sonic: That's right!
Tails: Only we don't have any way of knowing where. If they're on this planet, that's good, but if they're still on the planet we came from, we may never get home.
Luan: Talk about being Chaotic. (Laughs) Get it?
Everyone groans.
Amy: (Deadpan) Chaotic? Really?
Luan: Come on. It was funny.
Lincoln: Listen, if the Chaos Emeralds ARE somewhere on this planet, and if we can find some way to locate them all, maybe we'll be able to reverse that time warp. You guys will be back on your home planet before you know it! Right, Sonic?
Sonic: Yeah! No worries!
Lily: (Giggles) Cas emwald.
Amy: (Fawns) Aw. She's trying to say Chaos Emerald. (Boops her nose) So cute.
Lori: Then we need to start looking for them.
Leni: What are we looking for again? A new dress design?
Everyone just looked at Leni in awkwardness.
Lola: Emeralds Leni.
Luna: The Chaos Emeralds.
Lisa: The relics Tails mentioned that caused the warp known as Chaos Control.
Leni: Oh. (Confused) What's Chaos Control?
Tails: (Raised a brow, whispers to Lincoln) Does Leni have short-term memory loss?
Lincoln: Not exactly Tails. She's…How do I put this lightly? She's not really the brightest girl in the family.
Tails: (Sighs in disbelief) Great.
Lincoln: Bottom line is, we find and collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds before Eggman.
Sonic: Yeah. That's sounds about right Linc.
Lana: Like heck we're gonna let Egg-face get his mitts on them!
Sonic: (Winks) Now you're talking!
Amy: Well I don't want them to be here. But the Chaos Emeralds better be on this planet. Because not only are they very rare and our only way back to our world, but also very dangerous in wrong hands.
Luan: Don't worry Amy. We'll find them.
Luna: (Looks at her watch) Uh oh dudes. School starts in an hour.
Sonic: I thought you guys were on Spring Break?
Lola: Not yet Sonic. Not until till next week.
Cream: Can we come with you guys?
Luan: Sorry Cream. But you guys need to stay hidden.
Lucy: She's right. Nobody knows you 5 exist.
Lisa: Yes. Any human being caught sight of you anthromorphic animals with us, and its back to Area 99 with all of you.
Cream: (Sad) Aw. That's not fair.
Lynn: (Pushed her aside and runs out) Life's not fair for anyone but me, Cream.
Lana: (Calls out) Hey, be careful Lynn! Cream's sensitive!
Lori: Don't worry Cream. You guys will stay here with me. (Picks up Lily) But I first have to take Lily to the daycare.
Lincoln: Come on guys. We better get going.
Everyone grabs they're bags and heads for the door.
Amy: See you later guys.
Lori: Have a good day guys.
Luna: Later sis.
Lynn: (In her Hall monitor gear) Move it Stinkoln or that's a ticket!
Lincoln: (Glares at her) You're the one who needs to get moving! How are you still hall monitor! You don't even do it right!
Lynn: (Gets in his face) Yes, I do!
Lincoln: No! You don't. You shove kids in lockers when they're trying to get to class on time…especially me…
Lynn: That's to teach you not to run in the halls.
Lincoln: You ask the teachers and Principle Ramirez for hall passes when in fact they're free to roam without one. They run the school, and you don't…
Lynn: Maybe they should think before they act.
Lincoln: (Glares hard) You tell kids who come out after class to give 50 push up and you wedgie them when they don't…
Lynn: That's what they get when they don't listen. And they've been sitting on their butts for a half hour.
Lincoln: You give people detention just because they didn't cheer you on during Gym class.
Lynn: To teach them a lesson not to ignore me.
Lincoln: (Glare harder) And you did nothing when they sent me to exchanged boarding school in Canada! I expected you to help stop it, but all you did was laugh at me!
Lynn: (Laughs) Because it was awesome. (Slapped in the face by Lincoln, shocked, glared) Did you just slap me?
Lincoln: (Leers) Yeah. You got a problem with that?
Lynn: (Grips his shirt, glares) YEAH I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!
Lincoln: It's my way of telling you to do your job correctly, stop with your so called "Lynn-tuition" and be a better sister. (Scoffs) Hall monitor. (Got in her face) More like school bully!
Lynn: (Furious, Cracks her knuckles) OH YOU WANNA GO STINKOLN?!
Luna: (Separates them) Okay dudes! That's enough! We have to get to school.
Lynn: Not till I…
Leni: (Forced Lynn to walk away) Just walk Lynn.
Lynn: (Marched off in anger) Be a better sister! School bully! Is he joking?!
Lincoln: (Sighs) Ever since she became hall monitor, my time in school was heck.
Luna: (Pats his back) Don't worry baby bro. One day she'll lose that position.
Lincoln: I hope your right Luna.
Luna: Well I'll see you after school.
Lincoln: See you Luns. (To all the sisters) And remember, if you guys find or hear about a Chaos Emerald, let us know.
Everyone gave a thumbs up and walks on.
At a construction yard
Construction workers were working were working a new building downtown. A digger was digging our dirt for some foundation. One of the last few digs it made was revealing the green Chaos Emerald partially buried in the dirt.
On a private jet
The president of the United States was discussing the matter of Sonic and his friends in Royal Woods
President: And, where are they?
Director of Central Intelligence: It seems the hedgehog and his friends are staying with a family in Royal Woods, Michigan, and our agents have traced Eggman to an island somewhere in the Southern Sea.
President: Well, get going! I want them captured!
Director of Central Intelligence: With all due respect, it might be best to keep them under surveillance so we can observe their behavior.
President: Grr, that's all well and good, but you'd better pay special attention to that dangerous Eggman character!
Director of Central Intelligence: We've already sent out a reconnaissance team, Mr. President. We'll be sure to report back any suspicious activities.
On Eggman's island
The Reconnaissance team made it to the island luckily undetected by Eggman's robots and began to keep watch for any activity he's planning.
Back on the jet
President: Any word on the animals?
Director of Central Intelligence: We've had our operatives watching them too, sir, and we're dispatching an undercover agent to get information on the boy who was the first to discover them and take them in. If there's any unusual activity, we'll know about it.
At Royal Woods Middle School
Lincoln was walking down the hall going to Mr. Bolhofner's class which was still in that hot trailer.
Lincoln: (Grunts) Here we go. Another day with the strict Mr. Bolhofner.
He was about to head inside, until he was pulled away by Principle Ramirez.
Principle Ramirez: Lincoln Loud. I need to have a word with you.
Lincoln: (Sighs) Oh no.
Principle Ramirez: You're not in trouble.
Lincoln: Are you sending me to another school out of country again?
Principle Ramirez: No. I'm actually moving you to a new class.
Lincoln: (Raised a brow) Really? (Annoyed) Again?!
Principle Ramirez: Yes.
Lincoln: Ugh! Can't the staff make up their minds?
Principle Ramirez: I know. I know. All these changes are annoying you. I'm sorry. You see, you won't be attending class in this trailer anymore, because Mr. Bolhofner has been fired.
Lincoln: (Confused) Fired?
Principle Ramirez: Yes. I asked him to wash my car when I was going over paper work, and he destroyed it. He kept telling me, he didn't do it and something else did. (Chuckles) And who would believe him? He said that a giant red animal with spikey boxing gloves trashed it when he told it to go back to the rain forest. Also said it has anger issues.
Lincoln: (Knows who did it) Oh. Knuckles.
Principle Ramirez: (Confused) What?
Lincoln: (Nervous) Nothing.
Principle Ramirez: Okay. Well then come with me, and I'll show you to your new class.
A few minutes later
They arrived at Lincoln's new classroom.
Lincoln: Well at least it's not in a hot trailer. (Saw Clyde and the others there to, gasped in surprise) Hey guys!
They turn and saw Lincoln with them in that class to.
Clyde: (Smiles) Buddy!
Lincoln, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zach and Stella: We're all in the same class again! (Group hug)
Lincoln: You guys too?
Rusty: For some reason.
Stella: How come you're here?
Lincoln: My class changed…(Deadpan) again.
Liam: At least it was good one this time and hopefully it dang stays like this for rest of this and the next school year.
Zach: So did you guys hear? About that blue hedgehog thing?
Stella: Yeah. How can a hedgehog go that fast? I bet they'll never catch him.
Rusty: Yeah. That's crazier than that Dr. Eggman guy. Don't get me wrong, that dude was whack.
Zach: (Get suspicious) I think he's some kind of alien. I mean that mustache of his.
Liam: I don't know. He looked human. But a blue hedgehog? That can't be real.
Rusty: Well it was. (To Lincoln and Clyde) What do you guys think? Think they'll ever catch that thing?
Lincoln and Clyde: (Acted like they didn't know) I don't know.
Of course they knew the answer was no. Because Sonic's too quick for them.
Principle Ramirez: Attention students. (Walks to the front of the class with a new teacher) I like to make a brief announcement. Mr. Bolhofner has now taken a leave of absence and will not be teaching the remainder of the semester.
Lincoln: (Whispers to the others) I'm actually glad he got fired. He was such a hot head.
Stella: (Whispers back) Tell me about it.
Principle Ramirez: So on that note, I like to introduce all of you to your new math, art, and social studies teacher, Mr. Stewart, who will gladly be educating you for the rest of the semester.
Mr. Stewart: Thank you Principle Ramirez. (To the class) And hello class.
Everyone: Hello Mr. Stewart.
Mr. Stewart: I am looking forward to working with all of you and getting to know the majority of you.
Principle Ramirez: Then I'll leave it to you Mr. Stewart. If you have any troubles, come talk to me. (Walks away) Have a good day.
Mr. Stewart smiles and took notice of Lincoln and Clyde who were whispering to each other. They're private chat made him suspicious.
Stella: (Smiles) He seems nice. What do you guys think?
Rusty: He looks good in a suit.
Liam: Seems like a nice guy.
Zach: Much better than Mr. Bolhofner.
Later after class
Everyone was going to they're next classes. While Lincoln and Clyde waited for the others, they head for Lincoln's lockers.
Clyde: So what did Sonic and the others tell you?
Lincoln: Okay. So we know they were brought here by a warp in time and space. Right?
Clyde: (Nods) Right.
Lincoln: What caused that warp was a force called Chaos Control.
Clyde: Chaos Control?
Lincoln: Yes. Sonic said he was trying to stop Eggman from achieving his scheme to take over Sonic's world and he made one of his robots fire a machine he was gonna use, and that caused Chaos Control.
Clyde: And what exactly was Eggman using to power that thing?
Lincoln: He was using 7 gems that hold a limitless amount of Chaos Energy. The Chaos Emeralds.
Clyde: And they're the reason Chaos Control happened, and that Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Knuckles and Eggman are here?
Lincoln: Yep.
Clyde: So if we can cause Chaos Control again, they can go back home.
Lincoln: That's right. So all we have to do is find all 7 Chaos Emeralds before Eggman. Because there's no doubt about it, he'll be after them to. It would actual chaos if they fell into the wrong hands.
Clyde: That is assuming the Chaos Emeralds are here.
Lincoln: But we won't know for sure till we look.
Clyde: And there's 7 you said there are.
Lincoln: Yes. And Sonic said that whenever they come together in one place, they scatter and disappear all over again.
Clyde: Doesn't Tails have a way of locating them?
Lincoln: I asked. He said no.
Clyde: (Overwhelmed) Wow. Finding those Emeralds is gonna be challenge.
Lincoln: Trying to force Eggman back to his world will be the challenge. But at least we'll have adventure.
Clyde: (Shrugs) I guess so.
Lincoln: (Smiles, pats his shoulder) Come on Clyde, we're Clincoln McLoud. Remember?
Clyde: (Smiles) You're right. We are Clincoln McLoud.
Then Lynn came out of Lincoln's locker.
Lynn: (Demanding) Hall passes!
Lincoln: (Slams the locker on her) Class hasn't even started yet, stupid. And we're waiting for our broadcast crew.
Lynn: (Comes back out, pins Lincoln to the wall) I said hall passes or…(Readies her fist) a knuckle sandwich!
Then Lynn was pulled away from Mr. Stewart and he took her hall monitor uniform.
Mr. Stewart: I think you're not doing a very good job.
Lynn: (Shocked) Hey! Give me back my uniform!
Mr. Stewart: Nope. I want you to go to office.
Lynn: For what?!
Mr. Stewart: Assaulting the students. Yes. I heard about you Lynn Jr. All the students here have giving complaints to the principle who has been neglecting to fill them in.
Lynn: (Shook her head) So what? Complaints mean they love my way of working around here.
Mr. Stewart: (Points down the hall) Do those face look like they love it?
They all look at the rest of the kids in the school who had disapproved looks on they're face.
Lynn: Pffft. They're obviously looking at Stinkoln.
Lincoln: (Glares) No! They're look at you!
Lynn: Oh really? (To everyone) Who are you all glaring at? Me or Stinkoln?
Everyone: (At Lynn) YOU!
Lynn jumped at they're outburst.
Mr. Stewart: Well there you go. To the office young lady!
Lynn: (Glares at Mr. Stewart) Office this bub! (Punched him in the gut)
Mr. Stewart: (Held his gut) Ooh! You just got yourself detention!
Lincoln and Clyde helped Mr. Stewart straighten up again which he was grateful for, and a couple of teachers took Lynn to the principal's office. Everyone in the hall clapped in delight.
Lincoln: Are you alright, Mr. Stewart?
Mr. Stewart: (Fixes his glasses) Yes. I'm okay. Thank you boys.
Clyde: Anytime sir.
Mr. Stewart: (To Lincoln) So, you're Lincoln Loud. When the principle mentioned you I figured you're the boy who is related to the 10 sisters who are popular in Royal Woods. And whose Grandfather is Albert Jefferson, a retired military soldier. And whose father owns the new restaurant that's become quiet the top rated establishment in Royal Woods, Lynn's Table.
Lincoln: Uh, yes. That's me. Lincoln Albert Loud.
Mr. Stewart: (Shakes his hand) A pleasure to meet you. I must say your sisters are quite gifted. You must be as well.
Lincoln: (Scratches the back of his head) Well…I am the 5th best junior magician in Royal Woods.
Clyde: Make that the 3rd best. You one 3rd place in that last talent show last year. Remember?
Lincoln: True.
Mr. Stewart: (To Clyde) And you must be Clyde McBride. You're family friends with the Loud's.
Clyde: Yes.
Mr. Stewart: Pleasure. Now, I know this might sound like weird question. But do you boy have any favorite animals?
Lincoln and Clyde looked at each other in confusion.
Lincoln: Uh…Rabbits.
Clyde: Cats.
Lincoln: And…um…
Lincoln and Clyde: Hedgehogs.
Clyde: I guess
Mr. Stewart: (Got the hedgehog part, fascinated) Ah.
Lincoln: Is that weird?
Mr. Stewart: Oh no, not at all.
Rusty's voice: Guys, come on! It's time for our news broadcast.
Lincoln and Clyde: (Calls out) Coming!
Lincoln: (Walks away) Nice talking to you Mr. Stewart. See ya.
He watched them walk off and had a suspicious look on his face.
Back at the construction site
One of the workers was still in the excavator digging up dirt and with one more drop, the scooper tapped the Chaos Emerald and the machine was filling up with Chaos Energy.
Worker 1: (Noticed the controls, confused) Hey! What's happening?!
The excavator started going on its own.
Boss: (Confused) What's going on?
Worker 1: (Freaking out) HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME! I'M LOSING CONTROL!
The excavator started freaking out the other workers as it started shaking a dump-truck, scaring out another worker.
Worker 2: LOOK OUT!
Worker 1: (Trying to stop it) AHH! I CAN'T STOP THIS THING!
When the scoop hit a dirt mound it tried to pull itself up causing the worker to jump out.
Worker 3: (Concerned) Hey are you alright?
Worker 1: (Confused) I…don't know. All of a sudden, the thing had a mind of its own.
They see the excavator was shaking a little bit and after a few seconds, it stopped. The Chaos Emerald gave a bright glow alerting the workers.
Back at the school
Lincoln and his friends were now doing they're school news broadcast.
Lincoln: Today, school teacher, Mr. Bolhofner was recently fired due to him destroying the principles car. Bolhofner himself claimed to her that big red animal with spikey boxing gloves was the one who dismantled it. Well, all I can say to Mr. Bolhofner is, good bye and get some rest.
Clyde: On the lighter side, we have welcomed a new teacher to the school. Mr. Stewart. He's the new, Math, art, and history teacher. Much nicer than Bolhofner was. To Mr. Stewart, we all welcome you to Royal Woods Middle School. And all of us are looking forward to meeting you.
Lincoln: And now let's got to Rusty in the hall. Rusty?
Out in the hall
Rusty: Thanks guys. I'm here with Lynn Jr, who had just lost her position as hall monitor for assaulting teachers and students. (To Lynn) So Lynn, do you have a statement?
Lynn: (Glares hard) Grr! (Takes the mic) THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT STINKOLN! THANKS TO YOU I LOST MY BEST JOB EVER! THIS WAS ALL I CAN DO BESIDES SITTING IN BORING CLASSES! THANK'S A LOT!
Rusty: (Pulls the mic away) Okay, that's enough from you. (Walks to Queer) I'm here with Queer who is now the new school hall monitor. So Queer, how did it feel to be given this position?
Queer: (Drooling) Hall monitor…(Laughs)
Rusty: (Creeped out) Okay… Thank you Queer.
Some students ran by trying to get to class on time.
Lynn: (Calls out) HEY! NO RUNNING! (About to run after them) COME… (Grabbed by Queer) Let me go, Queer!
Queer: (Laughs) L.J…
Later in the cafeteria
Clyde: (Whispers) I can't believe Knuckles got Bolhofner fired.
Lincoln: Well Bolhofner made him angry by giving him orders. And from what we've seen yesterday, he doesn't like being told what to do. I could tell by the fury he was building up by those soldiers.
Clyde: Yeah.
Lincoln: (Clears his throat) Great job on the news today guys.
Stella: Not so bad yourself.
Liam: So what are your thoughts on the new teach? Mr. Stewart?
Lincoln: He's okay. Although, kind of mysterious.
Zach: Mysterious how?
Lincoln: Well while we were waiting for you guys, he asked me and Clyde what our animals were.
Stella and the others looked confused by that.
Rusty: Sounds like an elementary school kind of question.
Clyde: Don't get us wrong. He looks like a nice guy, but kind of odd.
Back at the Loud House
Lori came in after picking up Lily from the daycare.
Lori: Okay guys. Lily and I are home.
Amy: (Walks up to them) Hi Lori. (Kneels down to Lily's level) And hello Lily. Did you have a good day today?
Lily: (Giggles) Amy. (Hugs her)
Amy and Lori: Awwww.
Lori: I think she really likes you, Amy.
Amy: (Hugs Lily) She really is a little cutie pie.
Lori: (Noticed Cream and Cheese on the couch, realized) Where's Sonic and Tails?
Amy: Sonic is in Lincoln's treehouse taking a nap and Tails is doing more work on the Tornado.
Lori: (Walks into the kitchen with Amy) I've literally been meaning to talk to Tails about that. He might need to keep that plane hidden. It might draw too much attention and reveal Sonic's location. Not to mention if our parents come home early from they're getaway, they'll literally freak out seeing a plane in the yard, asking where the heck did we get this plane.
Amy: Don't worry. Tails is working in that now.
Then the news came on when they were out of sight.
Kathrine Mulligan: This is Katherine Mulligan reporting live downtown, where a strange event occurred. An unusual gemstone was discovered today at a department store construction site. Eye-witnesses at the site report that construction machinery seemed to malfunction whenever it came within close contact of this strange jewel. The stone does appear to be radiating an invisible, highly-charged energy. Now, some of you watching at home, may be experiencing some static. This is a direct result of the gem's magnetic power.
Cream: (Almost fell asleep) Oh.
The sound of a book dropping woke her and Cheese up, and they looked at the TV and saw Katherine holding a render of the Chaos Emerald.
Katherine Mulligan: This is an artist's rendering of the jewel.
Cream: (Gasps) We've got to tell Sonic! Hurry!
She and Cheese got off the couch and ran out the door.
Outside in the yard
Sonic was resting on one of the hammocks in Lincoln's treehouse and stretched himself awake.
Sonic: (Yawns) Pretty good nap. I needed that.
Cream: (Calls out) Sonic, you won't believe it!
Sonic: (Gave attention, climbs down) What's up?
Cream: They found one! They found one!
Sonic: (Surprised) They did?!
Cream: (Nods) Mm hm.
Sonic: Alright. (Runs inside)
Cream: (Runs after him) Wait for us!
At Eggman's Fortress
Eggman was watching the news about the construction workers finding the Chaos Emerald.
Katherine Mulligan: Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation of the surrounding area to determine the possible source of the gem. We will continue to keep you posted with further updates. This is Katherine Mulligan reporting live from the site for RWTV news.
Dr. Eggman: [Laughs with delight] Well, what do you know?! A Chaos Emerald right under my nose!
Decoe: (Approached) Doctor.
Dr. Eggman: Yes, Decoe?
Decoe: (Gives him the robot cards) Your cards.
Dr. Eggman: (Takes and looks over the card) Hmm, let's see. Ah, which one? (Hard time choosing) Hmm, I can't choose. (Places the pack of cards into the Selection Machine and pulls the handle down] Beacon! Ah HA HA!
Beacon was fully assembled and prepares to take off into the skies while Dr. Eggman flies side-by-side with it on his Egg Mobile. One of the Reconnaissance team spotted Eggman and Beacon flying away from the Island.
Reconnaissance man: Enemy aircraft spotted!
Radio man: Roger.
Eggman and Beacon continued heading toward Royal Woods.
Dr. Eggman: Once I get my hands on that Chaos Emerald, I'll create an even more powerful robot, and getting rid of that pesky blue hedgehog will be a breeze! (Evil laughs)
Back at the Loud House
Tails and Amy boarded the Tornado with Lori, Lily , Cream and Cheese about to see them on they're way.
Lori: Remember, the Emerald was spotted at the construction site.
Tails: Got it!
Cream: Be careful! Don't get hurt, Tails!
Tails: Don't worry Cream. We'll be okay.
Amy: I hope Sonic knows where he's going. If he gets lost, we won't know where to look for him.
Tails: Don't worry about Sonic. If anyone can find the Chaos Emerald, he can.
Lori: Good luck you two. And literally be sure to keep your eyes out for Sonic.
The Tornados engine starts and Tails and Amy flew off downtown.
Lily: Emewal.
Lori: I know Lily. I literally hope they can find that Emerald.
Cream: I'm more worried that Eggman might try to get it too. I'm sure he might have watched the news also.
Lori: Don't worry Cream. We know Sonic's not gonna let him have it.
Downtown
Sonic was running down the street past moving cars trying to find the construction site where the Chaos Emerald is.
Sonic: (Looking around) The place is around her somewhere. Bet I can see it easier with a bird's eye-view! (Jumps high in the air, runs up a telephone tower) I'll just chill out up here and wait for Tails and Amy.
Out at sea
Eggman and Beacon were still on their way to the Chaos Emeralds location. Suddenly he picked something up on his radar. 4 signatures that were heading for him.
Dr. Eggman: Hm. Well I do believe that someone is following me. (Saw 4 missiles coming for him, snickers) This could be fun. (To Beacon) What do you say Beacon? Let's sink the vinks! [Saw Beacon trick the missiles into following it and manages to avoid just before touching the water] How do you like them apples? You foolish flyboys thought you could pull one over on the good doctor, didn't you?! Well, I guess the bad doctor proved you wrong!
He and Beacon continued on to the construction site.
Back at Royal Woods Middle School
Everyone was listening to Mr. Stewart as he puts an equation up on the blackboard.
Mr. Stewart: Any questions? (No response) Everyone understand this?
Everyone: Yes Mr. Stewart.
Mr. Stewart: Okay. The papers in front of you will be your assignments. They are due tomorrow.
Then the bell rings and the students were dismissed for the day. Lincoln and Clyde were still gathering they're belongings.
Clyde: (Saw something out the window, gasped) Lincoln, look.
Lincoln looked out the window and saw the Tornado go by.
Lincoln: The Tornado. They must have found a Chaos Emerald. Come on, we gotta go help the others get it before Eggman does.
Lincoln and Clyde quickly ran out of the class room. Mr. Stewart took notice of them in a hurry while he was erasing the blackboard. He started getting suspicious and left the room.
Out in the hall
Lincoln and Clyde pulled out roller blades they recently bought over the weekend.
Clyde: Where is it?
Lincoln: Lori said it's in the construction site downtown. Sonic is trying to find it now.
Clyde: Well there's no doubt Egg-face is gonna interfere so he can get the Chaos Emerald.
Lincoln: Well nothing's gonna stop us from getting it.
Then Lynn jumped out of a locker and blocked them.
Lynn: (Angry) Going somewhere Stinkoln?!
Lincoln: (Annoyed) We don't have time for this right now, Lynn!
Lynn: Yes you do! You're both in big trouble!
Clyde: (Annoyed) Why are you still like this? You're not the hall monitor anymore!
Lincoln: And besides, you're supposed to be in detention.
Lynn: Yeah, no! I'm taking a pass on that. I have soccer practice in an hour, so I need to take care of one thing first. My revenge since I lost my position because of you and the new guy!
Clyde: You can't skip detention!
Lynn: Yes, you can.
Lincoln: No, you cannot. Skipping detention will get you into serious trouble. They'll tell mom and dad that you're not following the rules.
Lynn: (Rolls her eyes) Oh really? And what makes you think that Lame-O?
Lincoln: Because I know how to think. I'm not a dimwitted athlete like you. Now if you'll excuse us, Clyde and I have to help Sonic and the others find that Chaos Emerald before Eggman.
They ran past Lynn.
Lynn: (Calls out) HEY! I'M NOT A DIMWITTED ATHLETE! COME BACK HERE! JUST LET THEM TAKE CARE OF IT!
Principle Ramirez: (Calls out) Lynn Loud Jr.
Lynn: (Saw Principle Ramirez telling her to come, angry) You'll never take me alive P.R! (Runs off)
Unfortunately the school security grabbed her and brought her back in, making her angry.
Outside the school
Lincoln: We just got to find that Emerald.
Clyde: Agreed.
Lincoln: Follow that plane!
Lincoln and Clyde rolled off to downtown. Unknown to them, a car followed them. The one driving it was Mr. Stewart.
Back downtown
Sonic was still on the telephone tower waiting. Soon he saw Tails and Amy coming his way.
Sonic: (Impatient) It's about time! You'd think they can fly that thing a little faster.
Amy: (Calls out) Hey, Sonic, (Points) it's over there!
Sonic: (Smiles, runs down) Chaos Emerald, here I come!
Back at the construction site
People were surrounding the entrance to the site which was now blocked off after the excavator incident.
News reporter: Wow, pretty freaky, huh?
Cameraman: Yeah, you said it! First, that weird hedgehog comes out of nowhere, now this magnetic emerald! (Saw something in the sky) Hey!
Katherine Mulligan: (Confused) Oh!
News reporter: What's the matter?!
Cameraman: Look, up there!
Katherine Mulligan: What's that?
Everyone looks up and saw something coming. The cameraman looks through the camera and saw Eggman and Beacon coming.
Cameraman: Whoa hey, it looks like that Dr. Eggman guy!
The crowd gasps as Eggman flies closer.
Meanwhile
Sonic was running across buildings to get to the Emeralds location. As he ran, he noticed people running away.
Sonic: (Came to a halt, concerned) What's going on here?! (Saw Eggman and Beacon in the sky) So… (Scratched his nose) Dr. Egghead thinks he can nab that Chaos Emerald before me!
He dashes off again to get way ahead of Eggman.
Dr. Eggman: Heh! We're closing in. (Saw Sonic running across buildings, annoyed) It's that blasted hedgehog! (To Beacon) Change of plans, we'll come back for our little treasure later on. First, we'll get rid of that meddling Sonic.
Beacon follows his orders and starts flying towards Sonic. When Sonic jumped off another building, Beacon rams Sonic with its beak, making him fly into the air. Beacon continues to do it again and again to keep Sonic busy. Eggman laughs in amusement. Tails and Amy fly in to the rescue.
Tails: Quick, Amy!
Amy: (Pulls out a Power Ring) Look, Sonic, the ring! I'll throw it to you! (Threw the ring)
Sonic was still being bounced by Beacon as he saw the ring. He tried to grab it but he missed it. Then the ring fell down to the streets.
Tails: Not good...
Amy: Oh, no! We're too far away! Hey, what if we try to get closer?
Tails: It won't be easy, but I can try!
Amy: All right, let's do it!
Tails pilots the Tornado to go after the ring.
Dr. Eggman: (Laughs) Now that our speedy little friend is out of the way, let's get back to our original plan, shall we? (Evil Laughs as he comes to land)
In the construction site
Lincoln and Clyde run in and look around.
Lincoln: Any sign of the Emerald?
Clyde: (Saw something) No. But there's a sign of Eggman.
Lincoln: (Saw Eggman coming in) Quick, hide!
They hide on the side of the construction and watched what Eggman was doing.
Clyde: (Whispers) He probably knows where it is. What now, Lincoln?
Lincoln: (Whispers) We'll wait for the right moment, and grab the Emerald. But we gotta be quick.
Clyde: Gotcha buddy.
Eggman jumps off his Egg Mobile and begins to dig through the dirt to find the Chaos Emerald. After 5 digs he found it.
Lincoln: Okay and…Now!
He and Clyde run in.
Eggman was about to take the Chaos Emerald only to have Lincoln snatch it at the last second.
Dr. Eggman: (Shocked, frustrated) UGGH! GIVE THAT BACK TO ME!
Lincoln and Clyde ignored Eggman and marvel at the Chaos Emerald.
Clyde: I can't believe it.
Lincoln: Neither can I. We found the Chaos Emerald!
Eggman pokes and slaps Lincoln's palm, snatching the Emerald in the process.
Dr. Eggman: Thank you boys.
Lincoln and Clyde: (Gasped) Hey, that's ours!
Dr. Eggman: Sorry. Not anymore. Besides, my dear boys, you'd hardly know what to do with such a thing! (Snickers)
Lincoln and Clyde ran up to Eggman as he entered his Egg Mobile, and began to fight with him.
Lincoln: But we found it first, Egg-face!
Dr. Eggman: Buzz off, kids!
Clyde: But it's ours!
Dr. Eggman: Let go of me, you pipsqueaks!
Lincoln and Clyde: Give it back to us!
Dr. Eggman: (Started the Egg Mobile) Sorry! You snooze, you lose!
The Egg Mobile started flying away into the sky but Lincoln and Clyde grabbed on for dear life.
Clyde: (Looks down, nervous) Oh man.
Lincoln: Just calm down Clyde. And hold on tight! We have to get that Emerald back for Sonic!
Clincoln McLoud focused on trying to retrieve the Chaos Emerald from Eggman.
Back with Sonic
Sonic was still being bounced around by Beacon.
Sonic: (Annoyed) Grr! KNOCK IT OFF!
But Beacon just kept going on ramming him making Sonic dizzy and annoyed.
Amy: (Calls out) SONIC!
He saw Tails and Amy coming back toward him while Amy readies the Power Ring they first dropped. When they got closer to Sonic, Amy passed the Power Ring to Sonic who successfully grabbed it and powers up his Spin Attack. He hurdled towards Beacon who was still planning to ram him again. But thanks to Sonic's Spin Attack, he sliced through Beacon, causing it to blow up.
Sonic: (Lands on the ground, smiles) Yeah!
Lincoln's voice: HELP!
Sonic gasped as he heard Lincoln's call for help. He saw Eggman flying away with Lincoln and Clyde hanging onto his Egg Mobile.
Lincoln and Clyde: SOMEBODY HELP US!
Sonic: (Shocked) It's Lincoln and Clyde! (Calls out) HANG ON GUYS!
He dashed off to help them. Tails and Amy were flying to help them to.
Amy: We're coming Lincoln!
Tails: GUY! HOLD ON!
With Eggman
Eggman marveled at the Emerald and snickers. Lincoln and Clyde were climbing on the Egg Mobile still determined the get the Chaos Emerald back. But Clyde lost his grip and fell.
Lincoln: (Shocked) CLYDE!
Clyde: (Screaming and falling) LIIIIINCOOOOOOOLN!
Fortunately, Tails and Amy swooped in and rescued him.
Amy: (Caught him) I gotcha Clyde.
Clyde: (Breathes in relief) Phew. Thank's Amy. You too Tails. But now, Lincoln's alone with Eggman, and he's got the Emerald.
Tails: Just hang on!
Lincoln climbed up the Egg Mobile and made it up to Eggman. Eggman saw Lincoln on board and smirks. He begins shaking the Egg Mobile trying to shake Lincoln off. Lincoln was still not letting go as he saw Eggman Snickering at him. With one more shift of the craft, Lincoln fell off the wing. But he grabbed onto Eggman's mustache making him howl in pain.
Lincoln: (Angry, glares at Eggman) I'm not letting you get away with it! (Tries to get the Emerald) Give me that Chaos Emerald!
Dr. Eggman: (Forcing Lincoln off) You grubby, little beast, let go of my moustache! (Got him off)
Lincoln: (Falls) AHHHH!
Dr. Eggman: (Fixing his mustache) That caterwauling brat certainly was a handful! (Realized his hands were empty) ARRGH! My emerald!
Lincoln had the Chaos Emerald in his hand as he fell down screaming.
Clyde: (Eyes widen) LINCOLN!
On the street
Mr. Stewart saw Lincoln falling from the sky. He pressed a button making the roof of his car open and the backseats turn into airbags.
Mr. Stewart: I'll save him. (Floors it)
The car speeds up to where Lincoln was falling.
Lincoln: (Screaming) AAAAH! SONIIIIIIIIIIC!
Mr. Stewart continued coming after Lincoln. Behind him, Sonic speed past him, shocking Mr. Stewart. Sonic made it towards Lincoln and he caught him.
Lincoln: (Smiles) Sonic!
Sonic: (Smiles) I gotcha Lincoln.
Lincoln: Nice catch. Let's get this Emerald away from here and back to my house.
Sonic: Right on!
Sonic took Lincoln and the Chaos Emerald back to the Loud House. Mr. Stewart was amazed at how Sonic rescued Lincoln, and smiles.
Mr. Stewart: (Adjusts his glasses) Well it's good to know someone else is looking after the kid. And speaking of looking out for kids, I'd back to school and watch over the detention kids.
He turns his car around and heads back to the middle school.
Back at the Loud House
Lincoln showed his sisters minus Lynn and Sonic's friends the Chaos Emerald.
Lucy: Wicked. The first Chaos Emerald.
Lola: (Eyes sparkle) It's beautiful.
Lisa: (Looks closely at it) Extraordinary.
Luna: Way to go bro.
Leni: That's 1 Chaos Emerald.
Cream: Now that we have 1, we just need 6 more.
Amy: That's right Cream.
Lincoln: And all I had to do was pull Eggman's mustache.
Lana: (Laughs) Oh man. That's awesome.
Luan: Looks like Eggman was in a HARIY situation.
Everyone laughs.
Amy: Okay. Now THAT was a good one.
Clyde: So what do we do with it? I mean it might have some effect on everything in here.
Lisa: Fear not Clyde. Tails and I have the solution. (Presses a button)
A metal container comes out from Lisa's closet.
Lori: What is that Lisa?
Lisa: We've assembled a containment device that not only will it keep the Chaos Emerald safe, but contain the Chaos Energy inside. Thus reassuring that it will not have any effect on any electrical equipment in our humble abode. Translation: It won't make our stuff go crazy like it did at the construction site.
Tails: You know Lisa, this experience has given me ideas for some new gadgets that can us fight against Eggman. All I need is a few more parts and we can get to work on them.
Lisa: (Smiles) Excellent Tails. You have a deal.
Tails: Okay, Lis.
Lincoln: (Feeling down, walks up to Sonic) Sonic….I'm sorry.
Sonic: (Confused) What are you sorry for?
Lincoln: Well, for... for losing-
Sonic: Got it back, didn't ya? That's all that matters! (Makes Lincoln smiles, thumbs up) I think you did a great job!
Lincoln: Uh, I... I did?!
Lori: You sure did, Linky. Just be a little more careful next time, huh? [Laughs.]
Lincoln saw everyone smiling at him and that made him happy and proud. Lily walks up to him and hugs him.
Lily: I wuv you yincoln.
Lincoln: (Picks her up) Thanks guys. (Looks at the Chaos Emerald, determined) 1 down, 6 to go.
Lily: (Hold the Emerald) Aos Emwal.
Luan: (Noticed Lynn wasn't around) Hey, where's Lynn?
Lincoln and Clyde: Detention.
The Loud sisters eyes widen ins surprise.
Back at Royal Woods Middle School
Lynn was still in detention with Mr. Stewart really angry.
Lynn: (Annoyed) Ugh! Can I go now?! I have soccer practice!
Mr. Stewart: No talking! You have 2 hours left.
Lynn slammed her face on the desk on irritation.
There you have it, they found the first Chaos Emerald, Lynn's no longer hall monitor, Mr. Stewart has made an appearance, and Lincoln and his friends are in the same classes again.
