CHAPTER 1
I was slowly waking up from my slumber. My room was filled with Comics / Novels and I liked playing video games on my Laptop and gaming console. The room was a bit messy with many items scattered here and there.
My name is Kal, a guy in his Early to Mid-Twenties. I am little shorter than the average and am fat. I am very introverted person so I don't have many friends. I lead a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I work at a company which gives me good pay but after work, I just pass my time in my solo room playing video games, watching anime and reading comics.
I just recently moved to England where I bought a studio flat. The area where I live is a small town which is slowly booming. There are few houses on the street. If we walk to the end of the street, there's an open ground and far off located is an open garage where people seldom go. And this is where my story starts.
So today was Jan 1st, new year and people were celebrating outside. Since, I am new here, I am still getting to know people. I saw that people were playing in the open ground. Without anything particular in my mind, I walked into the garage which was deserted. Well, it was huge and I was just roaming absentmindedly. I suddenly observed a shining piece. On close inspection, I found it was like a decorated necklace with a small miniaturized hourglass attached to it. It had a unique design.
Well it felt familiar but I couldn't recollect from where. I put the necklace around my neck and started rotating the hourglass just for fun. When I released it, suddenly I felt the surroundings around me getting disoriented and moving fast. I was scared as I didn't know what was happening. Before I could brace my nerves, I found myself in a dark room. The entire environment was looking deserted and spooky. Out of curiosity and fear, I was roaming around and I found that the house which I found myself in was decently big (had 4-5 bedrooms), good open space. But the entire house walls and floor felt like there was a fire accident here.
I came out and found that the house was located on the edge of some town in England. I was exploring the house and found an underground storeroom. Inside, it looked like a laboratory of some sort. There were some empty test tubes and jars lined up. I saw 2 Test tubes having violet and orange liquids in them. I observed them and they were smelling and looking like Grape and Orange Juice respectively. Anyway I was feeling thirsty, so I drank them as I felt they were edible.
After drinking, I felt a sudden change in my body like some kind of power was flowing through me. Before I realized what was happening, my body began to shrink. After I felt that my body finished changing, I saw myself in a mirror. To my shock I found myself as a young boy looking about 10-11 years.
I just didn't understand what happened. Then my eyes fell on a nearby jar having the label 'POLYJUICE POTION'. Then my mind caught up with this as I remembered where I came across this term. I bawled over in shock. I was in the HARRY POTTER Universe!
