CHAPTER 9

We were finally in my Universe. We slowly went into my home without anyone seeing us. We started Binging on Harry Potter Novels/Movies for the next 10 days. The information was basically driving them nuts.

"So I need to die then for Voldemort to die? I am happy about the family life I can have with Ginny, but how will I come out alive?", Harry asked slowly.

"It's actually going to be difficult to recreate the scenario where you survive. I mean Voldemort has to use Avada Kedavra but with the Elder Wand which should already have Harry as it's master. Even with the slightest mistake, Harry can die", I spoke.

"But there has to be some way. I can't let my brother die just for the greater good of the world", Lily spoke in a concerned tone and was already hugging Harry.

Seeing them like that I spoke, "I have a theory but I don't know if it will work. What if Lily here transplanted some of Harry's blood. Then she will also have your mother's protection in her blood tethering you to life as long as she lives. Then if she were to cast Avada Kedavra on you Harry with your Phoenix core wand of which you are the master with the intent only to kill the Horcrux within you and not you, maybe it might work. For safety purposes, let me try to see if we can get Elixir of Life from philosopher's stone if it is present in any of the previous universes we went to. But still this entire plan is a risk".

Seeing that we did not have any other plan, they agreed to go ahead with my plan as it was looking feasible. I used the Time Turner to go back to the Snapes Universe and asked if I can get a vial of Elixir of Life, which he procured from Nicholas Flamel of his universe as the philosopher's stone was still not destroyed there. Meanwhile, Lily got some of her blood transplanted from Harry in a muggle hospital and subsequently obliviating everything afterwards. They didn't need to worry about Underage use of Magic here.

And so we went ahead with the plan and surprisingly Harry survived with the Horcrux gone from him. We tested by asking him to try speaking with snakes and he could not. So 2 Horcrux including the diary were gone and 5 more to go.

We then went back to the original universe where Harry and Lily were from. It was still the holidays before 5th year for us. We went to Grimmauld Palace, told Sirius about our plan and got the locket from Kreacher. Then we met Dumbledore, who gave us access to Hogwarts even in holidays. We used the sword of Gryffindor to destroy the locket. We went into Room of Requirement, found the diadem and destroyed it. Dumbledore got us the Gaunt Family ring and we asked him to not wear it. We then destroyed the Horcrux. So 5 Horcrux gone and 2 more to go.

Meanwhile, we read next day in the news that Voldemort attacked Gringott's bank. We figured he realized that we were destroying Horcruxes and took the Hufflepuff cup with him. Dumbledore asked all 3 of us to join the Order of Phoenix along with Hermione and the Weasleys. We figured where Tom Riddle was hiding and the entire Order launched a Pre-emptive strike on his home. It was a war but with Dumbledore on our side and Voldemort weakened, they didn't stand a chance. They didn't have time to call Reinforcements.

While fighting, Lily killed the snake Nagini with the sword of Gryffindor while speaking Parseltongue. This kind of intrigued Voldemort but he had no time to think. While fighting, he destroyed Lily's wand, but Harry used an Expelliarmus to snatch Voldemort's wand. He gave that wand to Lily and together they both used Avada Kedavra to kill Voldemort. So both the Siblings were using brother Wands having same phoenix feather core. Luckily, there were no losses on our side.

The next day, some of the Order members including Harry and Lily had to go to the Ministry court for using Unforgivable Curses but were forgiven. The news was made public that Voldemort died and many death eaters were captured. Lucius Malfoy was able to escape without any issue as he was not involved doing any crimes this time.

Only Dumbledore and Sirius knew that I was from another Universe along with Lily and Harry. They asked to keep the Time Turner a secret. That night Harry and Lily together used the Resurrection stone to meet with their parents. The astral ghost figures of James Potter, Lily Evans and Severus Snape appeared in front of us.

Harry asked seeing Lily, "Hi Mom, I mean you are my Mom right or Lily's Mom?"

She smiled, "I am both of your mother Harry. Mine and Sev's halfs remerged after our death. I am really proud of both of you".

Lily saw her Mom and asked, "Hi Mom, so how is the afterlife?"

"Well to be honest, it is fine apart from the occasional tantrums these 2 throw around each other", she said gesturing to Snape and James.

"Oh come on Lily, we don't. We get along rather well, don't we Severus?", James asked smiling at Snape.

"In your dreams, Potter", Snape replied folding his hands giving an irritated expression. They started bickering among themselves and we were laughing.

Harry looked at Snape and spoke, "Thank you Professor Snape for Everything you did to protect me".

Snape looked at Harry and replied, "It's okay, Potter. Just don't rub off your recklessness to my daughter".

After speaking for a while, the ghosts disappeared. The main battle was over. Our 5th year was starting. We boarded a compartment in the Hogwarts Express along with Ron and Hermione looking forward for another magical year at Hogwarts!
