Love Hurts
In this life, you only get one shot. One shot to live. One way to go. Which will you chose?
Haru went about his day as normal, although there was something, someone, lingering on his mind: Rin. He just couldn't get her out of his head. She wouldn't leave his thoughts, his dreams, even his nightmares had her. But what was he to do? He just kept walking on, staring off into space with his precious Rin on his mind.
Love hurts.
Sometimes the feeling of love can't be defined, others you feel it can. Love can stab you in the back, or even worse, in the heart. Rin lied to Haru, saying that she didn't need him anymore. That was a giant stab to the heart. She lied, and she hurt him. But would she ever take it back?
Love questions.
What is love? How do you know you love someone? How do you know they love you? Is there anyway to tell? Rin questioned if Haru really loved her in her insecurities. Haru knew that he loved her, but did she really understand that?
Rin sat in the hospital, hating every minute of it.
I hate hospitals. Why do they put me in them when they know that I hate them?
I need to get out, now.
But I don't want to see him.
She got up and went out the window, hoping to not see the man she rejected to protect.
Haru kept walking along.
How could she say that she doesn't need me when I know that I need her?
Rin walked through the cold breeze blowing in. Then she saw him.
She tried to walk by without him noticing her, but it failed miserably.
"Rin, where are you going? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital?" Haru asked concerned.
"It's none of your business. Just leave me alone!" she shouted at him.
"You know you don't mean that." Haru stepped toward her and embraced her tightly. He needed to feel her, to know that she was still there in some way.
Love hurts.
Whether it be physically or emotionally, love hurts. Maybe in both ways.
Many thoughts ran through Rin's mind.
Why do I not want to push him away? Why do I want him to hold me forever?
Haru leaned his head down and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"You obviously never meant any of those horrible things you said to me if you haven't tried to run from me yet, my love."
With that Rin turned around and gave Haru a gentle kiss on the lips.
But love still hurts.
I know I know, it's weird that when I finally get something up here it's something I wrote on complete impulse and just typed. But I've read so many Haru and Rin fanfics that I had to write a little tiny oneshot to fill the void. Hope that you liked it. Please review, they make my day!
