The Autobots soon headed back to their earthly base. They wanted to go after Starscream and Megatron but they couldn't just disappear into the abyss to search for the evil duo, they needed a plan. That and they also had no clue where to look for the last Cyber Planet key. It was quite the puzzle. Wingsaber and Lancex joined the rest of the Autobots as they headed back to base.
Once they arrived back at the base, Cody, Lori, and Bud as well as the minicons ran over to greet the Autobots, for while they had read the info on the wildcard known as Wingsaber, there was very little in the databank about Lancex and they were very curious.
Lancex saw the three, unsure of what to do, began to draw a weapon, fearing they were there to harm the Autobots. "Cool it, Lancex. These earth children are our friends and allies. Only they can hear the sound of the Omega lock"Optimus quickly offered up. Lancex nodded and immediately put his weapon away.
"Boy he is touchy" Jetfire added, not one to keep his mouth shut when he should.
"If you've seen half the things I have, you wouldn't be so cavalier and trusting of other life forms" Lancex retorted, as he had seen some things that he wished he never had.
"I'm just glad he is on our side" Bud commented with Cody and Lori agreeing silently, admiring how this new bot looked and sounded. Bud was all about adventure and this bot looked like he had lots of stories to tell. Lancex was a bit surprised at how accepting the children were, especially of him.
"We welcome all who come to help. Whether it is Override from Velocitron or like Snarl and Scourge from Jungle Planet, or even Evac from earth. We just want to stop that black hole so that all can be free to live" Cody stated, wise beyond his years.
"It would seem that I underestimated how wise and helpful humans can be, as I have never met one before now" Lancex stated.
"So, the computer had no information on you, can you tell us more about yourself?" Lori asked, curious as well. Jolt and the other minicons still stood in front of the kids just in case, but the kids were in no danger.
"Well, where would you like me to start?" Lances asked, after handing the lock and keys over to Optimus.
"Well, the beginning would be nice" Wingsaber piped up, none of the other Autobots noticing how Hotshot, Evac, and Scoureg were reacting to this new bot.
"Well… that is quite a story" Lancex stated, looking to his brother. "Do we have time?" Optimus nodded, hoping that Lancex would keep this appropriate. Only time would tell.
