"You what?" Optimus and Vector Prime asked simultaneously, very confused.
"I know where the Cyber keys are" Lancex answered, before revealing a piece of paper which showed an old Prime code on it. Optimus and Vector recognized the code right away. "You just need to decipher it." Both nodded, took the sheet and began to decode it so that they could make a plan.
Once Vector and Optimus left, many of the remaining bots had questions for Lancex. "You are really Optimus' brother? I didn't think you guys had family" Cody stated, a bit confused.
"We are family, though Optimus is much older than I. He taught me many things, because we lost our parents before I became a full blown adult. Optimus took me under his wing, training me and teaching me. He was a tough teacher, but fair. I would never have found my path if it hadn't been for Optimus" Lancex answered the query, understanding that humans didn't know everything about the Transformer race.
"Where did all your weaponry, other than your purple optic, come from?" Scattershot asked, curious.
"Well, when Optimus and I went on a mission one time, before he took the reigns of the transformers, we found my multipurpose sword, known as a god arc. Optimus let me keep it as he had no such use or need for such a weapon, as he already possessed some pretty awesome weaponry. I found the black cat Hades gun when I was hunting for a demon I had been sent to destroy. I taught myself how to use the gun" Lancex explained.
"And your other weaponry?" Asked Lori.
"I was taught by a special bot that Optimus sent me to. I don't remember his name, but he taught me all the ins and outs of all the weapons I possess." Lancex informed them.
"I bet it is awesome to transform" Bud shouted out in excitement,
"It would be… if I could. I was hunting down a demonic foe, and as I took him down, my transforming ability was annihilated to oblivion. I am unable to transform.
"I could possibly fix that" Red Alert offered.
"I am not sure you would know what to do" Lancex replied.
"I have fixed things on Optimus and Landmine, I could give it a look" Red alert added. Lancex just nodded.
"Why were you a mercenary?" Jetfire asked, nosy as ever.
"Because it was the only way I could survive and hunt down the monsters and demons that I was assigned to destroy."
"You sound like me" Crosswise stated, " I am an earth bound monster hunter, I captured cons."
Lancex sighed. "I wish I could say all those I sought to destroy were cons. Some were my own friends, poisoned by Unicron, begging me to destroy them before they destroyed others" Lancex revealed, much to the others' shock.
"Well, we could certainly use a bot like you to help us" Override stated.
"I agree" Evac offered up, after having remained quiet for so long. Lancex nodded. He only hoped that none of these bots would suffer the fate of some of his friends. Only time would tell.
