The next morning, after Lancex had finally had a full recharge, he woke up to something that felt weird. He felt strangely warm. He onlined his systems quietly, in case this was something bad. Once fully online, Lancex could see that Hotshot had snuggled next to the bot. Lancex was a bit weirded out, but not too much, as Lancex had heard of some bots running cold when they recharged and so they would recharge with another bot, but usually the two bots knew each other. Lancex was careful to extract himself from the situation and head out, leaving Hotshot to rest longer.

Thankful to carefully extract himself from the awkward situation, Lancex headed to the rec room, as he assumed that was where the energon was kept for bots to consume. He had a lot on his mind, the least of which was Hotshot and that weird situation. Still, not wanting to ruffle feathers so to speak, as Lancex headed to the red room, where he found a table to sit at with his energon. He set his audios to only listen to the music he had programmed into his system, opened a book on energon bullet creation and started working on such as he drank his morning energon, hoping to take his processor off other more awkward things.

Meanwhile, back in the room that Hotshot was recharging in, the young bot soon woke. His systems had grown a bit cold and hence fully onlined his systems. He silently swore when he found Lancex was gone. He was glad to finally share his room with someone, as it finally meant he could recharge without running cold. But seeing that Lancex was gone, Hotshot got up. His tanks growled something fierce, like they usually did every time he got up from recharge. He decided to head out to find energon before starting his day.

As Hotshot headed to the rec room, he bumped into Evac and Scourge. "What are you two up to?" Hotshot asked, curious.

"Well, we were just discussing the new bot, and had seen him head for the rec room" Evac explained.

"So how was your recharge last night?" Scourge asked.

"Better as I didn't run cold" Hotshot answered honestly.

"You know, Hotshot, you really shouldn't do that with a strange bot" Evac offered up.

"I know, but something in my spark said it would be ok" Hotshot answered.

Scourge looked at the young bot. "Still you should have more manners than that" Scourge stated.

"You're one to talk about manners" Hotshot shot back.

Evac sighed. "Since we all seem to want to talk to Lancex, I suggest we go find him. I have a feeling that we are all after the same thing" Evac stated. The other two dropped their petty argument and agreed to follow as Evac led them to the rec room. All three hoped that Lancex would be welcoming of them and listen to what they had to say. Only time would tell.
