Bumblebee was walking around the scrapyard with Sideswipe, "What was with the hug you were giving Strongarm?"
"I figured since Steeljaw wasn't going to want me to be around her for a while I might as well make the best while he was gone. And I wanted to apologize for being an idiot earlier," he replied sheepishly.
"Do you have a crush on her?"
"It doesn't matter, she's with Steeljaw."
"That's right, she is. Which means you lucked out."
"I get it!"
"To be frank I wish it was you she ended up with instead of Steeljaw, I still don't trust him, but he seems to really love her and he's trying to get along with us for her sake."
"Yeah."
"Just don't go doing anything stupid to tick him off again, he may just kill you next time, or hurt you really badly."
"I know, I'm not making that mistake again."
"Good."
"Eyo 'Bee, hope you're not filling the kid with fear after you got onto us for doing it," Thunderhoof cuts in saying as he and Metalsound walk over to them.
"Now Thunderhoof, Bumblebee isn't like that. He's most likely just warning him in a more kid-friendly way," Metalsound teased.
"Yeah, that's all it is," Bumblebee said in agreement with Metalsound.
"Right. Thunderhoof and I are going for a drive unless you want us to stay here," she said as her tail wrapped around her mate's leg.
Bumblebee was silent for a moment as he thought it over. He should send one of the others with them since they're still on probation, but he's gonna have to give them a chance to prove themselves, "No, you two go ahead."
With a chuckle, Metalsound transformed before she hopped over the scrapyard's wall, "Adios, amigos!"
Thunderhoof transformed and followed.
Feeling her fur blowing in the wind Metalsound had to suppress the urge to let out a howl. It didn't help when she heard a howl in the distance. She ran past the trees as she made her way into the forest, and after a few minutes, she found herself in a rock quarry. Transforming into her bot form she looked behind her to see if Thunderhoof was behind her. Thunderhoof drives up then transforms.
"You took your time," she teased as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
"You think it's easy getting my vehicle mode through these trees?"
"Sorry, I forgot that you transform into a tractor," she chuckled, "I'm too used to the others being sports cars."
"I had to transform into whatever fits my body structure. And I could go faster but that would result in me tearing down some trees which I know you're against."
"You bet your tail I would be upset, which is why I picked a spot that has plenty of space."
"Yeah, so don't be complaining I'm taking so long, 'cause I'm trying to not tear things down to please you."
"Sorry, I was only teasing," she said softly.
"I know you were."
"The day went by pretty quickly," she looked to the night sky, seeing the full moon. Slowly letting go she leaped into the air, spinning as she transformed landing gracefully on the stone floor. Spinning around a few times she ran for the quarry's wall, running up as she pushed herself off into a backflip.
Thunderhoof folds his arms, "Show off."
"You call it showing off, I call it dancing," she replied as she looked back at him.
"Oh really? Want to see what I like to do?" He gives a devious smirk as a thought comes into his head.
"Is that a challenge?" She asked as she gave him a smirk of her own. He charges her and pins her down on her back. Metalsound grunted when she fell to the ground, "Hey, let me up."
Thunderhoof lets out a chuckle, "No, I won't."
Letting out a growl she gently bit at his arm, trying to lower his defenses.
"Not gonna work. That tickles actually."
With a snort, she let go of his arm, "Want to hear a song?"
"Sure," he replies with a smile. With her own smile, she played the song, the slow piano followed closely by the drums.
"I know the feeling, of finding yourself stuck out on a ledge."
Crawling out from under him she transformed back into her bot form, "Care to dance with me?" She held out her servo to him as the song continued to play from her sound cannon.
Thunderhoof stands up, "Afraid I don't know how to dance, never learned."
"I can teach you, this one's easy. Just put this servo here," she placed one of his servos on her waist, "And I put my servo here," she rested her arm around him. Taking the lead she slowly swayed to the music. He went along following her steps and movement.
Unknowingly she started to sing along with the song as they danced. Lifting one of his servos over her she made a little spin before putting it back in place. Thunderhoof started laughing, "This is rather fun."
"It is, isn't it," she sighed as she rested her helm on his chest, "This song feels right," she continues softly as she played an instrumental version of the song.
"What's it called?"
"Lullaby, sung by a group called Nickelback."
"Oh, it's nice."
"I'm glad you like it," she replied as she looked up at him.
"I'll like anything you like," he says smiling down at her.
"You sure about that?" She asked with a devious grin. She played a different song, leading it off with a human screaming.
"Sounds intriguing."
"How so?"
"I don't know, just does."
Metalsound chuckled as she transformed her arm back to normal.
