As Evac headed out of the rec room, Hotshot sought out the kids. Hotshot wanted to know what they thought of the new arrived Autobot. "Hey guys" Hotshot called out as he reached Cody and Bud. "Where's Lori?"
"She headed out with Override, they will be gone for a while" Bud stated matter of factly.
Hotshot nodded slowly. "Well, I have a few questions for you two?" Hotshot replied.
"Okay, what do you want to know, Hotshot?" Cody asked, a bit curious as to why Hotshot sought them out.
"Well, first off, what do you think of the new bot?" Hotshot asked.
"Which one, Wingsaber or Lancex?" Cody asked for clarification.
"Lancex" Hotshot replied, quickly but not too quickly.
"He seems like a nice guy. Much nicer than Wingsaber" Cody answered.
"Hey. Don't let Wingsaber hear you say that" Hotshot replied.
"He'll never know" Bud stated.
"So what other questions did you have?" Cody asked.
"Have you found out much about him?" Hotshot asked both the boys.
"Not really, as the computer has limited details on him. Maybe you should talk to Optimus" Cody offered.
Hotshot nodded. He wasn't planning to do that, but he felt like he got what he was looking for by asking the two boys. "Thank you for your time." And with that, Hotshot headed off to secretly meet up with the other two.
At the same time Hotshot was talking with the boys, Scourge went to find Snarl and Leobreaker. He wanted to talk to them. He found the pair hanging out with Jetfire. Scourge sighed a bit seeing that, but he approached them nonetheless. "Hey fire breath" Jetfire teased a bit.
"Can it, fly boy" Scourge stated, a bit miffed.
"If you are going to be rude we can leave"leobreaker responded, meaning it.
"Give Scourge time" Snarl piped up.
Scourge was relieved to hear that. "I need some advice"
"Okay…what advice?"
"I seek to claim a mate for myself. What should I do to attract the bot or bots I seek?" Scourge asked, curious as to if they had any ideas.
The three bots made many suggestions about what Scourge should do and could do to try and land the bots Scourge sought out. Scourge appreciated all the advice he received. Now he just needed to implement it.
Meanwhile, still completely unaware that Scourge, Evac, and Hotshot were seeking to bond with Lancex, Optimus had to think how he was going to protect Lancex from being taken advantage of. Optimus would do his best.
