Optimus sighed, as he hadn't planned on the two dolts capturing the minicon Jolt. It didn't help that Jolt couldn't even fly due to carrying a map on his back. Optimus was trying to demand the stupid bots from Velocitron give up Jolt. They found themselves is a forested area and just as Ransack threw Jolt backwards, Lancex came crashing down on the pair while Evac caught the minicon that had been thrown. Optimus was glad the two buffoons had been handled, but he was surprised to see his brother. "Why are you blowing holes i the floors/ceilings?" Metroplex asked, not happy about the destruction.
"Because only 15 more citadel floors below is the ark with the Cyber Planet key" Lancex answered, "and this is the fastest way to get there if we want to be Megatron."
"Lancex, you know full well, we don't destroy another world" Optimus chided.
"Do you want to stop the black hole or do you want to be destroyed by it?" Lancex retorted.
Optimus frowned. He didn't like destruction, but Lancex had a point. "Point taken. But once this is all done, you will need to help them repair these holes" Optimus stated. Lancex nodded, blew another hole and all the bots jumped down and continued to do so until reaching the core layer.
Upon reaching the inner most layer, Lancex was quick to find this planet's ark and enter it to see if he could find the key. Problem was, once he found it, the Decepticons showed up, demanding the key. Landmine had gone into the ark with Lancex. Both bots touched the key and while Landmine seemed to grow bigger, Lancex saw something, something about the future and Vector Prime having to sacrifice to finally get them home. Lancex was going to stand for that. And so he withdrew from his hidden pocket a bullet shaped object and opened it, inside were three bullets, 1 blue, 1 white, and 1 gold. He knew in his spark that the only way to save everyone was that he would now have to use these. The only question was which one or ones.
Meanwhile, as Lancex finally returns to the current realm, he finds that many other Autobots have entered the ark and he sees why – Megatron has come, demanding the key and all the power. Lancex watches for a bit as the others struggle yet start to triumph over the cons. Then Lancex sees it – his brother is in trouble as Megatron has Optimus pinned. Lancex must use his bullets and use them now. The only question was could he do it without harming his brother. He looked at the bullets, chose 2 of them and put the third away. He loaded his special gun and aimed. He was nervous, and hoped that when he did fire, he hoped bullets wouldn't touch Optimus.
Lancex soon pulled the trigger and the two bullets went flying towards Megatron and Optimus. Only Primus knew which bot would get hit with these two special bullets, and all Lancex could do was pray.
