The Adventure of the Prime

22. Chapter 22

Thanks to the Omega Lock with all four Cyber Keys in it and Lancex, the Auotbots finally arrived back in their own universe and dimension. It was only mild relief as there was still the ever growing black hole to deal with. Megatron was completely incapacitated, and so that should make a little easier, or so Optimus thought. Primus was where they had left him and was in a recharge cycle after having blasted energy into black hole. Primus knew though what tool he was going to use to close the hole, hence he had called for Lancex to rejoin his fellow Autobots.

"We are here, but are we I time?" Jetfire asked, noticing the scene.

Lancex felt a call deep in his spark. He knew who that was – Primus. Primus was calling on this Prime to be used as the tool to shut the black hole. Lancex was a bit worried as he wasn't exactly sure how Primus would use him, but then it came to him. He was to unite his Hades gun with the Omega Lock and keys. Feeling the call, Lancex got up and left, leaving all the other Autobots behind him. Primus was working as not even Optimus saw Lancex leave the ship with the Omega lock and Cyber keys.

Once out in space, Lancex touched his unusual gun to the Omega lock, and watched as the gun began to glow an unusual white color, though it was not hot to touch. It was then that Lancex realized that Primus was planning to use the gun to close the black hole. Lancex aimed his gun at the whole and pulled the trigger. However, instead of a bullet, a huge ray of energy came shooting forth towards the hole. And it kept going until the hole was closed, as that was when Primus finally allowed Lancex to stop holding the trigger.

The rest of the Autobots cheered as they realized that the hole that had threatened the entire universe was no more and Megatron was no longer a threat. However, it was only then that the rest of the Autobots realized that there was one that was no longer amongst them – Lancex. Optimus was going to start a search, but before he could, Lancex suddenly appeared. "The universe is now safe" Lancex declared. The others could only nod, though Optimus was not sure how he felt about this whole thing with his brother. Optimus didn't realize that due to being a previous demon hunter, Lancex had a closer connection to Primus than most did, but that would soon be revealed.
