Soon, Lancex, Hotshot, Evac, and Scourge arrived on Velocitron. They weren't at the annual fair just yet, but it wasn't too far away. However, The trio was concerned about Lancex being able to keep up as he had no alt mode. "Are you sure you can keep up with us?" Hotshot asked, a bit naïve. Scourge and Evac knew better, as even when a bot had no alt mode, they still had a way of getting around faster.
The only answer Hotshot got was Lancex starting up his gn drive. It could be very useful to propel him places if he so chose, though it was only for short distances. For example, he could go across planets but he couldn't get himself between planets with it. Hotshot was soon left in the dust as the others took off, with even Scourge revealing his dragon form could fly. Hotshot transformed and raced to catch up. He hated being left behind.
Thankfully, the fair wasn't too far away and soon, all four bots reached the entrance. The trio who had alt modes transformed back to their bot forms which hid their weaponry. Unfortunately for Lancex, nothing he did hid his weaponry and he was soon stopped at the gate. "If you are going to open carry, I need to see a reason why" the bot at the entrance told Lancex.
Lancex sighed, as he hated revealing the real reason why he open carried all his weaponry, but a reasonable request was a reasonable request he figured. Lancex took out an ancient data pad and showed the bot at the entrance gate, who was absolutely stunned into silence. The data pad said not only was Lancex a class s level hunter, but also, what he hunted was demons. Without any further questions, the bot at the entrance gate let Lancex In. The other three were puzzled as few if any bots got that kind of reaction. The trio had no idea some of the secrets Lancex kept.
"Well, now that we are all into the fairgrounds, shall we proceed with our harmless fun?" Lancex asked, curious about how this all worked. The other three nodded slowly. They realized then and there that there was much more to their potential mate than met the optic. But for now, the small group would do their best to enjoy this time and get to know each other better.
