Once the four arrived back at Cybertron, they were exhausted. "Man, am I tired" Hotshot spouted off, "but I don't have my quarters anywhere near here."
"My quarters are on earth" Evac stated, showing his were further away.
"Mine are on Jungle Planet" Scourge stated, with a heavy sigh.
Lancex looked at the three. The looked exhausted. "My quarters are not far from here. In fact, they are the quarters I grew up in with my family. My parents left them to me once it was clear Optimus would be busy elsewhere" Lancex explained.
"If they are not far, we would be glad to find a place to rest" Evac replied.
"They are not, come" Lancex answered, and carefully led the tired trio to a strange looking rock. They were puzzled until Lancex push on a certain area and a secret door opened. "I had to make it safe during the war."
The trio nodded and headed in. The quarters were sparsely decorated though a few mech like entertainment items were strewn about such a gaming system, but it made sense that few things were there, as they had all been away from their quarters for a long time. "Do you have any recharging berths?" Hotshot asked.
"I have a few. Two for smaller bots, like sparklings, one is a random size and one that can be expanded to fit up to five full sized adult bots" Lancex answered.
"Why would you need a bed like that?" Scourge asked, having never heard of such a thing as it didn't exist on the jungle planet.
"It was my parents' berth and they had made it like that once they had a family. I inherited the berth as they couldn't find Optimus to give him anything" Lancex explained. Then things made sense, especially to Hotshot and Evac.
"I just need to recharge" Evac stated, barely able to remain standing. Lancex, also extremely tired, soon led the other bots to the berths. Lancex headed for the berth that could expand. He didn't realize the others followed him. Lancex was deep in recharge as soon as he laid down on the berth. The other three smiled tiredly before joining Lancex in the recharging berth, with Evac and Hotshot to Lancex' right and scourge curled up against Lancex on the bot's left. The four rested and recharged, but Lancex was going to be in for a surprise when he woke up, surrounded by the three.
