Having left Jetfire behind, Lancex was still trying to wrap his processor around the fact that he was indeed sparked. He had no idea that he was a rare mech who could carry. And as Lancex was walking around, head in the clouds, He bumped smack into Optimus. "Oof" was all Lancex got out as their metal bodies crashed into each other.
"Watch where you are going" Optimus us quickly replied, seeing that Lancex literally ran into the red and blue bot.
"Sorry, my processor was elsewhere" Lancex replied.
"Obviously. Now want to tell me what is going on?" Optimus asked, knowing he brother spent little time near Iacon.
"Well…. I'm sparked" Lancex revealed, "heavily sparked, according to Red Alert."
"Heavily sparked?" Optimus asked, not believing his audios. It wasn't a complete surprise due to what Optimus knew about Lancex's systems, but still.
"I can only assume that means twins, though Red didn't say specifically" Lancex revealed. He couldn't be fully sure, but he was thinking so.
Optimus nodded slowly, still a bit stunned. "Congratulations" Optimus finally managed to get out. He truly was happy for his younger brother and it showed.
Lancex sighed, while he was happy his brother supported this, he was worried about many things, including being a good parent to the developing sparklings. "I don't know if I'll be a good enough parent to sparklings" Lancex revealed.
"You have a good head on your shoulders and wonderful mates, you will do fine" Optimus replied, trying to support his brother. "By the way, you are going to tell your mates about this, right?"
"Yep, they just need to get home as do I" Lancex replied.
"Good luck with that" Optimus stated.
"Good luck with you too" Lancex replied and then left. Optimus was confused at that, but thought little of it. Little did he know that the reason for that comment would soon be revealed to the old leader.
It wasn't until many long hours later that Optimus figured it out, as it took that long for poor Jetfire to work up his courage to tell the leader exactly how the aerial bot felt about the leader. Optimus was stunned at first, but it didn't take him long to give in once Jetfire placed a smoking hot kiss right onto Optimus' battle mask. Needless to say, Optimus now felt how Lancex felt for his mates. Optimus smiled, as now he and his brother had now expanded their family.
