Note: This takes place prior to "Coda" and "Teela's Triumph"; in this fic, Teela doesn't yet know that The Sorceress is her mother.

She looks so peaceful when she's asleep. I love everything about her -- the way her chest rises and falls, the curl in her hair dangling over her forehead. As Zoar, I've spent many a night perched on her balcony ... watching her.

Everyone says I abandoned her. That's not entirely true.
It's true I've missed a lot: her first tooth, her first steps, her first words. It hurts just thinking about it.
At the same time, I don't regret giving her up. If anything ever happened to her ... I don't want think about it. I wouldn't be able to live with myself.
