The four followed chariot as they were reaching their destination, Heather spoke her mind.
"Hey, chariot."
This caught her attention: "Hm? What is it, uhh?"
"oh. My name's Heather, uhh, when are we're gonna get there?"
Chariot slightly turned to her while moving: "We're almost there."
Heather was glad to hear that as jo spoke: "Excuse me chariot. What am i going to do? Am i allowed in?"
"ummm...?"
Chariot thought about it while gesturing her pondering. She soon stop, realizing they're there, she turns to them and said.
"well we're here, uhm, may i know your name?"
"my name is jo."
"jo. Uhh, i'm afraid you have to stay out here for the time being, sorry."
"is quite alright. Just wish I have a place to sit."
Monika added her comment: "Is alright jo, you can sit on the ground."
She said while smiling like is fine, jo didn't seem to fond of that idea.
"Yeaah, whatever you say."
She's still smiling now taking that as a joke, chariot was smiling awkwardly.
"eheh, well you don't really need too. But anyways are we ready to head in?"
All three of them agreed as Heather added: "about time."
"good. Then let's head in."
They went inside as jo soon went to the side of the door waiting: "Well, this is great..."
He keep an eye out for any students that might show up.
Meanwhile inside, the three were instructed to line up near the mirrors as chariot approach them.
"Alright, before we begin, may i know your names?"
Heather spoke out loud: "You already know me."
Aya added: "Thanks captain obvious."
Heather took it as a playful thing as aya said: "Well, i should start first; My name's aya brea."
"aya, such a nice name." She looks at monika.
"And you?"
"Oh um, my name's monika."
"Monika. Well is a pleasure to meet you all, you already know me so i will get straight to measuring you girls."
She started with monika as she start with her hips, her hips were quite wide and then went to her height.
"Monika, if i may, what's your age?"
"oh umm, i'm 19 years old."
Chariot was quite stagger by that info.
"19? Huh, you must have graduated from high school already."
"i uhh. Yeah, you can say that."
Heather smiling weakly as chariot continued to measure her.
"Soo, what brought you four here to luna nova academy? I doubt is to learn magic right?"
This made them a bit hesitant to answer, monika couldn't find her putting but aya said.
"We're not. Is quite a story."
"not really."
Heather pointed it out, monika told her: "Chariot, we're here because of a unwelcome visitor in your world. We dealt with them before so it must be bad news."
"bad news?"
Chariot stop measuring for a second then continued.
"Yeah, is best to tell you up front then make it convoluted or something."
Chariot finished and look at her: "Well, at least you're truthful."
She gaze at aya and said: "Well i hope you four are going to handle it, right?"
Aya responded: "of course, we hope to find whoever it is quick."
Chariot start measuring her as she commented: "Quick?"
"yeah, whoever it is might be bad news, so we need to find them. Before it gets bad."
Chariot seem a little worried: "Oh my, that really doesn't sound good."
"It isn't, but we're here to make sure whoever we're dealing with won't cause any problems."
Monika added as chariot seemed a little glad: "Well, that's good to hear."
She continued to measure aya as she said.
"but still. I can't believe that someone might cause trouble here. Who could it be?"
"that's what we're here to find out."
Aya said as chariot was finished and went up to Heather as she prepared herself to bring her arms out.
While doing so, monika said: "Yeah, hopefully we find them before anything bad happens."
"I sure hope you do, this school seen enough problems as it is."
Chariot added as aya said curious: "What you mean?"
"oh you know. Magic problem there, strike going there, nearly losing the academy there."
Chariot stop for a moment to reflect on it and continue: "But we been through a lot and made it through with little losses."
"i see."
Monika said as chariot measure her height, aya seemed a bit empathetic a bit as chariot said.
"Well, let's hope things turn out well."
"tch, hope so."
Heather said a bit upset about the learning magic thing. Chariot was soon finished measuring her as she said.
"Well, that was measuring and now i know your measurements. I'll write these done and i'll be back for a bit."
She went off to the backroom as the three were close together as monika said: "Well, that's over."
She's finding it convenient as aya said: "Yeah. I wonder how learning magic will be?"
Heather seemed a little permissive
"I don't think learning magic will be that easy."
Aya added her comment: "well, i don't know about that, but i think we can learn something out of this."
Heather still wasn't fond of all of this, which monika notice her concerns.
"Hey, i know that this is quite inconvenient for us, but if we ever get the chance to look for whoever we're looking for, then we're taking that chance."
Monika said trying to lift their spirit up, Heather find some comfort in that, she sometimes look up to her when she's bringing them up. She usually knows how to make things better.
Aya chime in: "Yeah, let just hope that we find them or whoever without issues."
The girls agreed as they were now were talking about what's going to happen at this school.
Meanwhile jo was standing behind the wall, arms across just waiting for them. It seems like he been waiting for a minute which seems to be the case. Nothing particularly interesting happen when he was waiting, just silence beside hearing the girls talking in the room, but he can barely hear them.
He got a little impatient and went up to the window and look outside, he saw a long grassy field that look like a sporting field but wasn't a typical one. Beside that he just saw trees in the far off distant and the blue sky with a few clouds in the air.
He search for anything that was inconspicuous but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
He sigh a little and turn around to head back to his spot. He wondered what they're going to find here, whoever it is he expect the worst. Is not like wherever he goes it isn't going to be easy.
But now he has to wait, and by now he's a little impatient.
Inside the room, the girls chattering was interrupted by chariot walking in.
"Excuse me girls, i have finish with your measurements and will give this to one of the workers to get working on it. But, there's one more thing you need to know.
"what is it?"
Monika asked, chariot soon replied.
"Well, every witch have a ribbon on them, you notice some have different colors right?"
Monika and Heather was quiet, they were thinking about it but aya spoke out.
"Uhm, i actually have."
"Oh, well i should give you a brief info on them; These ribbons are symbols of your team. Each represents what your team means."
"ohh."
Monika exclaim her understanding, but then they heard a knock on the door and saw jo opening it up.
"Uhh, is it okay if i can come in now?"
"uhh, yes you can. We're finish with the measurements."
Chariot said which jo quickly respond.
"okay good."
He entered and regroup behind the girls.
"so, what's going on now?"
Jo asked as chariot said.
"We were going to discuss about their ribbon colors."
"ribbon colors? Okay."
"alright, now what will your colors will be?"
The girls were pondering about their choice as monika was the first to speak.
"How about red?"
Chariot looked awkwardly and said: "oh, uhh, sorry that color have already been taken."
This almost baffled Heather: "really?"
Chariot smile nervously: "yeah."
The three were quiet until Heather said.
"Well, how about green?"
"ehh, sorry, taken too."
This made her dumbfounded as aya responded: "Blue?"
"taken..."
This made chariot a little embarrassed that almost all the colors are taken. The girls seemed like their options are limited. Jo decided to add his.
"How about, grey?"
"Hm?"
Chariot look quite perplex and stunned, she thought for a moment and spoke: "No, it hasn't been taken. In fact, no one really chooses grey since is just a bland color. But if i might say, you chose a interesting color."
This pleased jo as the girls didn't seemed to have any objections, Chariot turned around and walk off: "I get this right away and i'll show you to your room."
This please them as later they head off and went and follow Chariot in the halls and entered a dark hallway being lit by a chandelier.
Chariot open a door to the right side and introduce them to their room.
"Here it is, this room is the only room that has two bunkbeds."
"Ahh."
Monika exclaim her pleased by this as chariot said.
"Well, make yourself at home. Tomorrow you'll get your clothes and start your first day at this academy."
Heather spoke up.
"Excuse me but we also need to find any person here."
"yes, but i don't know if you have free access to roam around the premises yet. I say you four should wait until tomorrow, or a day or two."
"oh..."
Heather seemed dismay, chariot feel a bit sorry for them but understand her concerns.
"Well, in the meantime. You four should get rest, tomorrow i'll bring your books and schedule for tomorrow school day."
She back up, ready to leave: "I'll see you tomorrow."
She close the door leaving them to their own devices.
"Well, we're here."
Jo simply said which Heather said.
"Yeah, we know."
Jo sheepishly smile as monika said: "Well, beside that. I say we should pick our beds."
"I call bottom."
Jo quickly said as Heather reacted: "Hey, i choose bottom too."
Jo heading to the one on the left, he turns to her.
"You take the other one."
Heather look at the other one as aya said: "Well, i guess i take the top one."
"Heather looks at her with question: "Which one?"
Aya look at each one and notice monika looking at jo laying on the bed, she figure that monika would be on that side, as aya responded.
"The one on the right."
Heather knew she'll take that one and said with less effort.
"I guess your my sleeping buddy."
Aya just smile as jo look at monika and said: "So, wanna be on top?"
He's trying to be a little attractive but also jokingly as monika smile humorous while giggling a bit.
"Yeah, of course."
She proceed to climb on top of the bed and lay on it. Jo see the bottom lean forward a little but settle itself.
"How is it up there?"
"Is, comfy."
"good."
Soon the others try their beds as they were relaxing a bit as the day move forward, the team discussed on what's gonna happen tomorrow.
"So, what's gonna happen tomorrow?"
Aya questioned as Heather said bluntly.
"Well, we got class tomorrow, obviously."
"yes, but what about them? Ain't we supposed to keep an eye out?"
Monika said as jo answer.
"Monika, guys, let me handle the investigation. You guys focus on school work, i'll just do the expected dangerous work."
Jo feeling a bit relieved that he got the field work while the girls are stuck in class. Heather though wasn't fond of any of this and expressed it.
"Ugghh, this suck, why you get to do the real work while we're stuck doing class work?"
Jo simply strug his shoulders: "I dunno, I wasn't the one who come up with the idea."
"ugh, damn head mistress..."
Heather cross her arms and lean back against the wall, monika then said.
"Well, it shouldn't be that bad, I mean it's just class work that involve magic. It should be an interesting experience. Besides, Heather you might learn how to use your wand more."
"huh?"
Heather sit up a little: "you mean my small scepter? I can just learn how to use it myself. Besides, I don't think they'll understand how to use this."
"hm, yeah, I think you're right."
Jo agreeing as aya then plop her hands on her thighs and said.
"Well, beside all of that i believe we should just rest. We got a big day tomorrow."
Heather said.
"But, is still day out."
"for the time being."
Jo exclaimed as monika added: "you know, she's right. Even know we're not tired let's just relax, we got nothing to do for the time being."
Everyone agreed, they simply lay down, relax and talk among each other for the time being. They stay in their room for the entirely day and soon rest their eyes and end the day for next one.
Outside, in the forest. A person faze into existence. He looked around and see the tall tower from a far. He grin a bit and moved forward, hearing the crunches of the grass while moving.
He disappeared into the dark forest.
