Siegfried was in the midst of his plans with his men, including Z.W.E.I., Malice and Greed, before hearing the sound of feet running. He turned his head to see that it was Marie, whom the silver-haired man instantly noticed.

He was about to speak, but Greed cut him off. "Whatcha doin' here?"

"My friends and I were able to find Pyrrha in the forest. Unfortunately, she has become malfested, but we were able to subdue her. She's currently under watch by Elizabeth and the doctoral staff." Marie replied.

"Pyrrha is malfested?!" Z.W.E.I. asked.

"Don't worry! As I've said before, Patroklos and I fought, then subdued her."

"Marie," she heard Siegfried speak. "We will do what we can to tend to her. It's possible Pyrrha might be able to remember who she used to be before she was kidnapped."

"I sure as hell hope she won't lash out at anyone in such a state." Z.W.E.I. added.

Marie nodded as she replied, "I hope not, either."

Once everyone returned to the MHN's base, Pyrrha was tended to by the doctors, including Elizabeth. She seemed keen on asking the blonde what had transpired after her abduction, though.

After she was given a chance to rest, Elizabeth stayed behind and asked, "Tell me, what happened when Nightmare kidnapped you?"

"It was...quite frightening to say the least. I was perfectly normal when I was brought to his castle, but his and Tira's presence began to break me from the inside, and I wound changing into what I am now." Pyrrha replied, looking over at one of her arms, which had already morphed considerably.

"And before I knew it, I started acting very child-like and almost spoiled to a degree. I even encountered this mysterious man, who I tried to convince into joining us." she added.

The man she mentioned was Zasalamel, whom Marie and Lydia had once fought, and also had no intention in allying himself with the Mad Hearts Neo. "Now, once I was defeated by my brother, and after I've been brought here to this castle...I'm starting to recall who I really am. Not to mention, that I need to start acting my age again."

"So is it possible you'll help us? Even if it means betraying Nightmare?" Elizabeth asked.

"I...I think so. Though I'm still scared that he or Tira might kill me for my failure to eradicate Patroklos and Marie."

Pyrrha hung her head for a bit as she said those words, but Elizabeth managed a comforting smile. "Everything will be okay. We will have Schwarzwind ensuring your safety here."

This caused the Greek girl to raise her head and smile back, and she said, "I'd...like that very much. Thank you."

Elizabeth nodded. "Well, do get some rest. And who knows? You might have something good for breakfast."

Back at the base, Patroklos looked out the window in his common room. He had on a rather pensive look on his face, and sighed as he closed his eyes whilst reflecting on everything that had happened before his very eyes.

That is, until Athena appeared behind him and said, "I hope I'm not disturbing you."

"No, you're not. And I'm thankful for that."

She nodded, before she finally spoke up. "I believe that you're in a cross-roads; it might be possible for you to make your decision on what to do with the rest of your adventure. In other words, who does your heart belong to?"

Opening his eyes, he turned to see her. "Actually, I'm about to make my decision."

"Then, give me your answer."

Taking a deep breath, Patroklos would finally say, "I've chosen..."

Apologies if this one is short, but this is where the story breaks into different paths. Also, don't be too surprised by the 180 Pyrrha makes in this chapter, as well as the previous one. Still, enjoy!
