Always and Forever

Elijah's POV

I had just got a lead on my brother Niklaus when the phone rang. "Your brother is in Mystic Falls" the messenger said then hung up. I got my secretary to cancel all my calls with clients and my students. I, Elijah Smith aka Elijah Mikaelson, was playing the part of a history professor at Duke University. When, in fact, I am over a thousand years old and an original vampire. I have been tracking my brother Niklaus, only to find out he has returned home to Mystic Falls, the birthplace of the Originals. I love and hate my brother in equal measure, and I have sought his redemption, repeatedly, endlessly. I always have and always will be guilty of helping my diabolical mother and father lock away his wolf inside of him. The betrayal and the constant feeling of never being good enough for our wicked witch of a mother must be heart wrenching. "Sir, are you okay?"

"Yes, Maggie, I will be on leave for a week, can you call in my supply teacher?"

"I'll do that now, since you asked so nicely"

"Thank you, and touché" Elijah smirked "For what it's worth, Maggie, you are a good secretary"

"I'll remind you of that when I ask for a pay rise" Maggie smirked

Damon's POV

"No, Damon, I am not going anywhere with you. I don't love you. I love Stefan, I'm always going to love Stefan" I was raging when she said that awful thing.

"Katherine, I know we didn't rescue you from the founder's council, but things are different now. You can have us both"

"And what about my doppelganger, isn't she with Stefan and toying with you as well?" I shrugged "And the blonde girl, is she your girlfriend on the side?"

"We weren't even a thing" I shout out "Huh, so you've been using this girl for sex and your meals?" I raised my eyebrows "It's more like I compelled her for sex, it is what you did to me, once, when you were bored with Saint Stefan" A loud slap was heard, and I realised that my cheek was stinging. Katherine had slapped me!

"Get out, Damon, before I get my lover here!" Katherine snarled as I saw tears dripping from her eyes. I nearly cried too as I saw fear in her eyes.

"You raped a young girl and used her as food! You disgust me!" Katherine was stronger than me and older, so I turned and walked away before she ripped out my heart.

Klaus POV

My brother is here. Alaric has seen him. I have missed Elijah, and I know I have some explaining to do, regarding our family. Elijah has always been under the impression that our baby sister is in the Atlantic Ocean. Mind you, I did send a letter to him out of spite, saying that I had done this thing, to our family.

Caroline's POV

I was walking to my next class when Elena grabbed my arm and hauled me into the empty classroom. "Elena, let go of me now!" I hissed and she just ignored me, then proceeded to scold me like a naughty child as I stood there gaping at her in shock.

"Caroline, are you not going to apologise for making Damon leave town?"

"I am shocked that you think I have that much power over my rapist" I said with sarcasm

"You jumped into bed with him, and now you are crying rape!" Elena yelled back at me, I wanted to slap her so badly.

I clenched my fist, tapping my thigh to keep calm, but inside I was shaky, terrified, and frankly scared of the girl in front of me.

"Shut up!" I screeched "Who are you, Elena, to tell me what happened, you weren't there for me, he raped me after compelling my consent, and we all know that compelled doesn't equals consent, he raped me, he used me as a blood bag for weeks, now he has gone after Katherine and gods only know what she will do once she realises that he is a rapist, that she was responsible for creating a vampire rapist. I refuse to stand here going over my trauma and reliving it with a former friend who does not believe me!" I shouted at her, Elena looked incredulous and still disbelieving. "Stay away from me, and if you ever so much as grab me roughly again, I will have you arrested for assault!" Elena gaped at me as if I'd lost my mind, I lifted my head up and stormed from the classroom. I was so close to a panic attack that I couldn't breathe. I rushed to the bathroom, but as I enter the unisex bathroom, I bump into the most stunning, gorgeous, man (must be a teacher) I had ever seen. He has the high sculpted cheekbones of a god. The bluest eyes I've ever seen. He has dirty blonde hair and dimples to die for. But his eyes drew me in, he was stunned as we locked eyes. "I am so sorry" he apologised "I was looking for the principal, or any deputy head. I am joining the art department at Mystic Falls high" I could not speak, so I stuttered (He's British) I thought. "Hi….um, I'm Caroline Forbes" We shook hands and a spark passed between us. (Spark! That was a full-on explosion) He was hot, and, when he smiled. I forgot to breathe again! Is this the thunderbolt? The moment people talk about when they meet their epic forever love!?

"Nice to meet you, I'm Nik Mikaels" I couldn't stop staring at his mouth "I'll show you to the principal's office" I managed to get out of my utterly dry mouth.

"It would be my pleasure, miss Forbes, to have you escort me" (Gods, yes! My inner goddess screamed!) I was feeling hot, and Nik smiled kindly at me. (Why does he have to be a teacher?) my inner goddess shouted.

"This way, Mr Mikaels" I talked a little and my nerves dissipated as we walked to the principal's office. Jeez, my hormones. Is this love or lust?

"Aah, Mr Nikolas Mikaels, I was wondering when I would be seeing you today?" The principal thanked me for directing Mr. smoking' hot art teacher to his office and I put on a mask of confidence and replied that he was welcome.

I had to leave and get myself together before I spontaneously combusted. I had to tell Bonnie that a Hottie was going to be teaching the arts. I nearly squealed as I pulled Bonnie aside and told her everything. Bonnie touched my hand and gasped. "Care, I think you may have met your future husband? I saw you in a stunning dress walking up the aisle" I gasped "We felt a spark when he touched my hand, I couldn't breathe Bonnie, I have never seen such a beautiful man in my life"

"I think he's a werewolf too" Bonnie said bluntly "Like Tyler?" Bonnie nodded

"I saw a full moon in my vision and heard a howl. Wolves mate for life, they choose a female to introduce to their pack"

"I think I've just met my mated one" I almost squealed with excitement
