Late Christmas Special…

A/N: I was originally planned for this chapter to be posted on Christmas then some stuffed happened and well here we are.

Izuku Midoriya was many things; shy, timid, scrawny. But that changed when a spider bit him and gave the powers of a spider along with another set of powers that is similar to super strength but different. Not too long after being bitten, he became Japan's very own vigilante, Spider-Man. Izuku has been Spider-Man for at least six months and during those six months Izuku's mother, Inko Midoriya has fallen into a coma after getting a heart attack involving her son. Izuku was sent to live in his next door neighbor's house, The Khans and live with their daughter who is the same age as him, Kamala Khan. For a while it has been great living with them, but today is Christmas Eve, and tomorrow will be the first Christmas that Izuku has to spend without his mother present.

Right now Izuku is currently walking to the hospital that was helping his mother and making sure that she makes a clean recovery.

As Izuku walks in he sees that there are few people inside the waiting room for their loved ones. The receptionist looks up to see Izuku and says to him, "I can sign you in if you want." Izuku walks over to her and signs in and begins to make his way to his mothers room.

Izuku's heart begins to cry as he sees his mother on a heart monitor along with her having a breathing tube to help her breath along with several medical equipment that made his heart freeze at the sight. Izuku walks over to his mother's side and pulls up a chair and sits down and reaches out for her hand and squeezes her hand gently and says shyly, "H-Hi mom, it's me Izuku. I came over because well, things have been feeling different and well… I know that you can't hear me but I feel as if I need to talk to someone, but what I have to talk about isn't something that can be talked about with others. It's fair to say the least that it's not normal."

Izuku takes a deep breath before continuing.

"Six months ago mom, while I was walking home after All Might told me that I couldn't become a hero, not too long after, I was bitten by something weird and I brushed whatever was on my hand off. Then I began not feeling too good and basically passed out and was about to pass out on the sidewalk, but the nicest girl stopped me from falling and tried to wake me up. I opened my eyes and it was Kamala, she helped me up and the two of us began to just talk for a little until her mom came in and 'ruined' the moment. Kamala's words not mine. When Ms. Khan got a good look she said that the two of us will make adorable grand babies, which made the two of us blush. After Kamala and her mother left I walked home and went into my room and well, what I thought was my quirk activated and stopped me from falling. I shot a spider web from my hands and somehow my hands became stuck to my bed sheets which was weird. I was just about to walk out of the house when I heard someone knocking on the door. It turned out that it was Kamala who was at the door and to our surprise that we were next door neighbors, weird, right? I ended up going somewhere so then I could try out my quirk but I ended up getting into trouble with both the police and with the Pro-Heroes too. I needed to lay low for a while so then I could, you know, enter the U.A. Hero Program without the pro heroes realizing that it was me who got away from them or them asking questions. I walked back home with Kamala who was waiting for me, which shocked me a lot. While we were walking some police cars were driving by and I decided to use a mask that I made and, well, I sort of used dad's old leather jacket as a suit to wear when I was stopping a robbery at the bank. After I took down those criminals I ended up stopping some guys who were going to rob U.A. and I ended up meeting, nearly got captured and was helped by Ms. Marvel, one of the Avengers. It was a little cool to meet one of America's top twenty heroes. And of course me and Ms. Marvel stopped the robbers. Instead of staying low as planned I decided to become Spider-Man and give up becoming a pro-hero. I know that, that isn't what you wanted me to do but, when I was stopping those guys and some guy with a Rhino quirk, I felt as if I knew where I belonged in the world. After I got home, I met with Kamala's friends and I guess I also became friends with them too, they were really nice. I know that it's been a while since I hung out with a group of friends and I know that until recently Kamala was my only friend outside of class and I hope that you're happy that I have more friends than that makes me happy.

A few weeks later, I was running late to school and to my luck it started to rain cats and dogs on me and I ended up getting saved by, get this, Norman Osborn the owner of the and his son Harry Osborn of Norman Osborn founder of Oscorp Industries which is the number 2th of the hero support company and military contracts also principle of Osborne Academy. During the ride in their limo, I accidentally made Mr. Osborn laughed, which was shocking to his son, but that ended up ending shortly because someone cut open the roof of their limo to get to me. She said her name was Black Cat and I ended up chasing her while she was… Uh… Never mind on that part. After some sniper tried to shoot her, I was able to save her and was able to capture her and she told me that she attacked the Osborns to get to me, me as in Spider-Man. And just when I was about to show Black Cat that I was tough a hero grabbed me and threw me into a sign and I passed out. After I woke up, I found out that some young heroes were planning on arresting me, as well as some villains and some heroes who wanted me either dead or bring me in for revenge after I stopped those villains from breaking into U.A. I ended up teaming up with those heroes who were planning on being arrested to fight against a person with a giant quirk and some hunter called 'Kraven the Hunter', so that is why I was late for bedtime that day. I hope that you will forgive me for that.

A few weeks later, I joined a science fair to get into a college and become a scientist to help people. I know it's not an ideal job but, I get to help people in another way than saving lives as Spider-Man or as a pro-hero. Believe it or not, Kamala helped me to get my diorama of my invention to the science fair along with my board that helped explain my project. There, at the science fair, I ran into not only Harry and his dad but also my teacher, Mr. Otto Octavias. He is the reason for me heading into the field of science and to enter the science fair as well. After me and Kamala were finally done setting up our booth, I decided to go ahead and get something to eat for the both of us and when I came back the judges were there. I explained to them what my project was about while Kamala was really deep in thought about something, when she came to, I told her what had happened and I wasn't mad at her, to be honest I also would fall into deep thought so I couldn't really blame her at all. After the judges were done they gave off the results and well, I didn't get into any of the places at all. Kamala was right there to help pick me up after we heard the results. And well… uh… w-w-we were about t-t-to talk some more when an explosion caused by HYDRA made us snap out of our thoughts and caused a panic to everyone. Apparently they wanted to steal some of the inventions and blue prints so then they could turn it into some kind of machine to destroy every person with a quirk. I changed into my Spider-Man uniform and then some members of A.I.M. was there too long with someone with different technology than his men. Both HYDRA and A.I.M. had a commander that was wearing and using different technology than the others, one guy from A.I.M. was wearing a really advanced flying suit with wings and called himself 'The Vulture'. While HYDRA had a girl that might be my age commanding their group with a really weird suit that allowed her to fire lighting bolts out of her hands. And I made the mistake of giving her the name 'Electro'. And the best part, well there wasn't really a best part for anyone, but I was able to fight alongside with the Avengers to fight off against both HYDRA and A.I.M. Believe it or not two of the Avengers were the judges too. We were able to take down both HYDRA and A.I.M. with the help of Mr. Octavious, but the Vulture got away. The worst part is that Electro had a back up planned to kill herself and members of her group, and well, Mr. Octavious was on the receiving end of that plan. Electro used him to pass an eclectic signal to all of her members because she installed some sort of microchip and was designed to kill them if they were captured. After the HYDRA members were dead, something happened to Mr. Octavious that caused him to become a villain.

Mr. Octavious decided to name himself 'Doctor Octopus' because of his invention that gave him four extra arms. Mr. Octavious put up a fight with the Avengers and he basically threw me out of the science fair and caused me to crash on top of a car. He grabbed me and started to squeeze the life out of me while doing the same thing to my head as well. He was monologuing about different things, at first he talked about how he was going to show the world how he was going to destroy it without powers and how he will show how he can be a villain without relying on strength but with the mind. I was able to take him down after he was done monologuing but now, I feel as if I destroyed a good man's reputation. I wondered what would have happened if it was me that was shocked by Electro instead of Otto. Maybe he would still be the good man and teacher that I know deep down that he is. Then after I left and headed home, Kamala and her parents told me what had happened. I want you to know that I'm so, so, sorry for making you worry so much that your heart… nearly gave. But I promise you; I will make sure that I will do whatever it takes to come home safe." Izuku then leans in and kisses his mother on her cheek and says before leaving, "I love you mom."

Izuku then leaves the hospital leaving behind in his mother's room a photo of him and his mom on his very first christmas as a baby.

Time skip…

As Izuku walks back to the Khan's apartment, he sees Kamala struggling with some shopping bags and runs over to her and helps her. Kamala looks over at Izuku and says, "Oh Izuku, hey. What are you doing out here?" Izuku answered solemnly, "I just got back from visiting my mom, when I saw you having some trouble holding all of these bags. Need some help?" Kamala suddenly finds herself blushing a bit and answers, "S-Sure, I need all that I can get." Izuku takes a few of the bags and carries them with Kamala by his side. As the two walk back home Izuku asks Kamala, "So, what were you doing with all of these gifts at the last second?" Kamala then answers, "These aren't gifts, well some of them are but the others are not. I decided to buy some gifts because it's me and parent's first time having Christmas in Japan, and don't even think about peeking in one of the bags to see what I bought for you." Kamala said with a grin causing Izuku to laugh and said back, "Don't worry. I never did that as a kid and I won't do that now."

Izuku and Kamala suddenly find themselves looking at a full moon as Kamala says to Izuku, "Merry Christmas, Izuku."

Izuku then says back, "Merry Christmas to you too, Kamala."

In the morning…

Izuku wakes up to the sound of Kamala whispering his name through the door. He looks at Kamala who says to him, "Izuku, it's 9:00 's Christmas Morning." Izuku's eye's widen and begin to get up and follows Kamala to the living room to find some presents waiting for everyone. Kamala told Izuku to sit on the couch and wait for her as she walked over to the tree and bent down and picked up her present for Izuku.

Izuku looks away from Kamala while she is bending down to see her butt and remembers what Black Cat did and said when they first encountered each other.

Kamala stands up holding Izuku's gift. Izuku's gift was something that is a rectangular shape with a flat top and bottom. Kamala hands Izuku the gift while blushing a little and says while Izuku unwrapped it, "I-I-I uh, didn't know what to get you so, I decided to get you something that was special to you." Izuku went wide-eyed and he looked at Kamala's gift, it was a picture frame with a photo, the photo itself made Izuku cry. It was a photo of his current self with his mother eating the dinner that they both had with the Khan's. Kamala sits down beside Izuku and hugs him while he is still crying, she then says to him as he places a hand on her arm, "I'm sorry if it made you upset." Izuku shakes his head 'no' and says back while looking Kamala in the eye's, "No, it's perfect."

Both Izuku and Kamala smiled at each other and the two noticed that their faces were at least ten inches away from each other. Before either could do anything, there was a camera snap causing them to go wide-eyed. They look at the hallway to see Kamala's mother holding up a phone with a smile and says, "Well it looks like these two love birds are enjoying the holidays, huh? You two are sitting in mine and your father's spot, where we were supposed to kiss, under the {Mundbee points up over them} mistletoe."

The two young teens looked up to see the mistletoe that she was talking about. Izuku and Kamala looked at each other and immediately started to blush madly and nearly looked like two human sized tomatoes. They pulled away from each other and looked away from each other, causing Mundbee to laugh a little. Izuku then says to Kamala, "Thanks, again for the gift I mean and everything else, too." Kamala then says back, "Your welcome, Merry Christmas Izuku." Izuku then says with a smile, "Merry Christmas to you too, Kamala." Mundbee then says, causing both teens to blush even more, "Don't think about giving me grandbabies tonight, although we would be celebrating two miracles." Mundbee then leaves to the kitchen laughing her head off while the teens begin to sweat bullets at the thought of what Kamala's mother had just said.
