"Let's get this straight, Voltaru used to be a human! And Nekotetsu used to be their 'pet cat' or whatever! What the fuck!? Why?!" Glade, the local loudmouth, nearly shouted. The Totodile still could not fathom someone being so comfortable about being a pet.

"Because Master was the first one I saw when I was born as a cat, well not right away. " Nekotetsu said as he rubbed his head on the Pikachu. His black and light brown horns gently pressed into the Electric-type. "My momma told me humans raised her and then I went to live with Master."

"Born, don't you mean hatch? Voltaru are humans like Pokemon, and cats like ferals?" Asked Nevada, their blue eyes glanced side to side. Then they continued. "Voltaru you raised Nekotetsu from infancy? If so, why do you act like an older sibling instead of a parent?"

"Well kinda, we humans domesticated cats and loads of other ferals as companions we call pets." The yellow Pokemon grinned before their cheeks lit up slightly. "The only reason I act like this is that we are equals now, Bel can talk to me."

The Steel-type gently swatted at the Pikachu's tail as his whiskers twitched. "Now that we are Pokemon, I can tell you all sorts of things Master! I'm still mad at you though." He bit their thin tail and was zapped with Static.

Voltaru placed their paws on the steel Meowth's forehead. "Well, now my secret's out because of this kitty… what do you all think?" With every word, they traced the black coin on his head.

"Well, a human who turned into a Pokemon. I was wondering if you tried to cover something like that up." Their Charmander teammate said impatience caused their flame to rise. "No wonder you act so differently than other Pikachu I knew." They whispered something else to themselves when they closed their eyes.

"Just because you used to be a human doesn't mean I'm okay with you being an Electric-type!" Glade yelled and then crossed her arms. "Keep yourself under control Voltaru, and don't forget." She then pointed at the mouse's fired-up cheeks.

Hatchet quickly placed his claws across her big jaw to shut her up. "Shhhh, shaddap Glade! We don't need to let the whole dungeon know!" He panicked, red eyes wide.

"Oh calm down, I'm not gonna fire any moves at you." Voltaru bore their teeth at the Totodile. "You better not give me a reason to either and everything will be fine."

"Yeah, whatever…. Sorry." Glade blushed and her tail wagged.

The Charmander sheepishly looked at each other while their companions wrestled with the new information. "I…. I think we should just send him on back to the League. He and his friends have to study for the placement exam and grow much stronger." Nevada crossed their arms flicked and their tail. The flame brushed against the Steel-type fur and the Pokemon began to melt.

"You heard them Nekotetsu, go home, get out of here." The Pikachu started fastening a scarf around the young cat's neck and then buttoned on a bronze badge. "But wait for your friends alright. Be a good boy."

"Aw okay Master, bye-bye!" the Meowth closed his yellow eyes and grinned before the light took him safely away from the Mystery Dungeon."Weee! This is fun."

He was transported just outside the entrance of Midori Mori Forest, where Sir Mcbone and her pups waited patiently.

"Alright, onto the next floor." Glade gnashed her teeth before she hopped up the stairs. Her teammates swiftly came up behind her.

Midori Mori Forest F 2

After a couple of skirmishes with carnal ferals of various levels, dealing with harsh weather conditions and traps Team Sharp Claw finally found the next new member.

In a fairly decent-sized room, a white rabbit paced around in circles. "Ah, that's a Scorbunny." The water gator noticed, her eyes narrowed.

Hatchet decided to take action. "Howdy there! Are ya Hikari?" He asked the young Fire-type. Her red, orange, and yellow ears bounced up when she heard the question.

The bunny bore her buck teeth and threw a paw into the air. "Yes, I am!

Oh boy! You guys must be from the League!"

"Y-yep, we already sent your friend Nekotetsu on the back-" started Nevada before Hikari dashed right past them. "Hey, uh, can you come here?"

The white Pokemon stamped her large hind paws on the grass floor, which burnt some of the patches. "Oh sorry. I'm just so excited to leave the Guild and go train at the League with my friends!" She squeaked before flames propelled her towards the Lizard Pokemon. "But also I'm worried about them." Hikari began to flip in the air, spiraling out of control.

The Charmander caught her mid-air and placed her down, so she didn't crash into Voltaru or Hatchet. "Well, why is that? Could you tell me one reason?" Her fellow Fire-type asked, they then pulled out a scarf.

"Well my friend Aoijo, he's a Sobble." The Scorbunny's fur bunched up around the new accessory. "It's sad really."

Voltaru tilted their head. "Did something happen between you and him?"

"That guy! He better not have hurt your feelings, you are supposed to care for your teammates!" Glade then placed her hands on her hips. "Or was it you who said something fucked up?"

"No, he didn't do anything." The young Pokemon shook her whole body. Her bright eyes fell to the ground. "I didn't either, I always try to remember his triggers."

You're one to talk you shitty gator. Nevada thought before they furrowed their brow. "Oh no… then what happened?"

"It was two of his old friends from the Guild. Our Guildmasters said for his sake I shouldn't say anything." A moderate silence fell over the Pokemon before the rabbit continued. "I just want to meet the Chief and Coordinator, they are really strong, aren't they?"

"Yep, the Chief is a great big Stoutland, you'll see her soon," Voltaru said as they twitched their black nose.

"She is prolly outside the Mystery Dungeon right now I reckon." Their Axew partner rubbed his tusks.

"Oh yeah the dilation is high, it's probably been about five days now, shit!" Glade panicked, her eyes widened.

"The others might be worried so you should head back." Nevada looked at the Dungeon walls. The thick trees seemed to waver in the Charmander's gaze.

"Ah okay, bye senpais." The rabbit grinned.

"Yup, see ya later Hikari!" Hatchet patted her on back when the Scorbunny's badge began to shine. She then left the Mystery Dungeon.

Voltaru and their friends had not seen signs of any more of the young guild members. After going into a room with numerous traps, Glade crossed a stream to pick up an item in another room. "Hey, I think I hear some crying or something!" The Totodile called out before heading further inside. Her teammates nodded and quickly hurried across through land.

In a dark room, there were about three Pokemon facing a smaller one. Two Cufant and one Twin-Star Diglett carnal ferals blocked in and proded at the Sobble before they pushed him over to the side. The bigger Cufant tugged at the fin on Aoijo's head. "Ahhh, stop it! Leave me alone!" he sobbed.

Glade grimaced and clenched her fists when she realized who the Pokemon cornered was. Her red eyes narrowed and a dark force ran through her veins. Without saying a word she blasted off, her powerful Waterfall crashed into the Steel-Ground-type. The Blonde-haired Diglett moved backward and his partners swiftly turned around.

Before they could use any moves the room was covered in an intense Heat Wave, which doubled the ferals down to the ground. Nevada had come through again but the hardy foes weren't finished just yet. This caused the Pikachu and the Axew to step in with their attacks.

"Hrrraaaah!" Voltaru tried to launch out a powerful ThunderBolt but the attack came out as it did before. "Dang it! Hatchet can you finish it?" They asked with a smile. The Dragon nodded in response.

The blast was a weak jolt at first, which puzzled the smaller Cufant at first. She laughed at the light buzz. She tried to use Rock Smash on the mouse but couldn't hit them. Then she felt the after-effects of the Electric-type move, her body flashing as she was fried.

This is when her fellow elephant was hit with Dig, the Pikachu leaping up from the earth with a punch. The male Cufant was finished off in the Ground-type move and then the female was chopped with a Brick Break from Glade. She was knocked out and then Hatchet grabbed Diglett in a Reversal.

Aoijo burst into tears once he saw the Pokemon that saved him, his nose running. "I- I didn't want to leave the Guild and end up-" he gestured with his claws "like this."

"You mean in a bind? Ah, it happens sometimes kid." Glade patted her fellow Water-type on the back.

"No," the Sobble grew red in the face. "All alone... I tried to act brave like the others for Jonah and Franklin but I should have stayed behind with Hikari."

"If I may ask who is Jonah and who is Franklin?" Gently questioned Hatchet with a single tear down his cheek. The Dragon-Type could feel the strong emotions from the younger teen and let them all out. "Hikari… she did not mention their names."

The Sobble tensed up, his tail coiled sharply. "Those two…-" he had tears dripping down his face. Nevada, Voltaru, and Glade tried to resist but they too cried.

Aoijo blew his nose on his new League scarf ."They were my best friends from the Academy! Those evil Pokemon from the Wicked Blow…!"

He then planted his face onto the Totodile's chest. "I… just want to become strong at the League…. I can't stay at Strong Will Guild anymore… not now."

"I understand." Glade wiped her tears. "You sure are special, made even me cry." Then she attached a badge to his new scarf. "Don't fret anymore, I will get justice for your friends."

Voltaru and Hatchet wrapped their bodies around the young Pokemon. "We are Sentinels like your friend Nekotetsu, we will do everything in our power to end Wicked Blow."

The former Guild member blinked. "Really? You guys will avenge them?"

The Charmander pulled up their sash. "Absolutely, we here at the Bristberg Mana Research League understand the dangers of unlocked mana keepers. We take things seriously Aoijo." They peered to the side.

Aoijo sniffled and then made a fist. "Alrighty, I'll try to not be depressed." Light surrounded him before he grinned. "Thank you. Truly, thank you."

"Yo, are you the Pokemon from the League?" Asked a Grookey immediately as the group arrived at the floor. She had her orange hands-on every Pokemon with a quickness.

Voltaru was confused. "Yes, we are from the League Brambella." They flicked their long ears. "Why are you patting us down? What? Are you the TSA or something?" They put, eyes lighting up in remembrance.

The green Monkey drummed on a rock shoved in the grass. "Uh, I don't know what that was." She twirled the wooden stick in her fur before she stared at Hatchet. Brambella focused as her scarf was fastened on. "Guild Master Lucky and Guild Master Parker need to speak with you guys."

"They do?" Asked Glade, her big jaw slightly ajar.

"Yes, it's very important." The Grass-Type lowered her tail. "It's about Wicked Blow."

Voltaru widened their silver eyes and gasped softly. No, those bastards really are plenty of trouble.

Nevada pulled a scarf onto the Grookey's neck. "Hehe. Y-you, remind me of our Team Leader, Linus. He's a Treecko."

Brambella adjusted her new accessory. "Oh, really now? Well, I'm not the leader, that's Hikari." Her badge began to twinkle. "See ya, and thanks."

"Ah, we finally got all the new members out of here!" Smiled Voltaru, "Plus I'm getting the hang of using my moves again!" They dusted off their grey paws.

Glade came close slapped the Pikachu's stripped back with and embraced the mouse. "Ehh, your Quick Attack and Dig are okay but your Thunder Bolt and Iron Tail still are kinda shitty." She lamented with a grin. "Don't worry, you'll get there someday."

"Hey, they.. they are getting there." Hatchet then pulled the Totodile away. "Watch it, you don't wanna fuck around and find out." The muscular Pokemon growled.

The four League members continued through the Mystery Dungeons' last two floors before they reached Midori Mori City. The city is enclosed by a large set of rich dark deciduous trees, bright green bamboo, and a large wooden gate.

They stopped by a Kecleon marketplace to eat an actual meal and recover from the journey. Then the travelers decided to look for the Strong Will Guild. After talking to some of the city-folk Voltaru and their companions discovered it was on the other side of the large city. Thus they packed up their equipment and went on a walk.

Seven days ago, down near Pebble Creek Jonah and Franklin, a Phanpy and a Turtwig ran through a riverside. That afternoon there was a foreboding heavy fog obstructing their view and one that separated them from their team.

"We messed up Jonah!" cried the grass-type just before he rammed his body into a fallen tree limb. His partner lifted with a long snout to reply and to assist in clearing the wreckage.

"We can find our way back to the practice field if we just keep moving Franklin." The ground-type took charge, his cant determined. "Arbora and Ignis must be worried but it's fine."

Franklin thought about their Quilladin and Combusken upperclassmon and was about to reply when suddenly the light grey mist began to turn purple. The air was being filled with a strong foreign gas, one that could only have come from another Pokemon's body.

Franklin coughed violently as the poison entered his lungs. Then soon he collapsed. In a hurry, the Phanpy beside him frantically dug into their exploration bag and then found a Pecha berry. His ground elemental typing allowed him to resist the deadly gas to some extent.

Before he could stuff it down his partner's throat it was knocked away. The young Pokemon snapped to the side to see yellow glowing eyes. "Heheheh, you two must be from that blasted Strong Will Guild." The deep wispy voice stated with a haunting laugh. "How unfortunate, how unfortunate indeed." The figure crawled forward, revealing that they were a Toxapex with a black and white armband across their left arm.

"What, what do you want with us?!" Jonah trumpeted as he stomped his feet at the enemy with a Tackle. The attack did minimal damage, merely tickled the Brutal Star Pokemon's hide. "Gah, damnit, I'm not strong enough!" Then the light purple gas began to dip. A chill rose in the air. "Just leave us alone." He begged as he noticed a light blue glow from behind the poison-water-type.

His Turtwig partner strained to open his teary eyes and nudged him with his head. "Arbora! Ignis!" the Phanpy shouted, fear, and panic setting in as the clouds grew heavier. "Strong Will Guild! Someone, anybody helps us!"

"No one can hear you in this mist boy, save your breath…. Not like you'll need it." The Toxapex giggled before he closed into himself. "Come here Zasha."

A powerful freezing gust of wind enclosed the group before they saw the silhouette of a clawed Pokemon, both sets of pronged ice with a sharp blade of ice energy coming from the tips. "That's a Twin-star Sandslash, what are they going to do?" Franklin strained to rasp out, blood leaking out his maw.

Feeling overwhelmed His Phanpy companion squeezed at the wooden badge on his harness. "I-I don't know but I wanna go home."

"I'll make this quick, I'm not as cruel as this one beside me." Before the Guild trainees could ask another question they were impaled by the Sandslash. She had made sure they were disemboweled, so they would die quickly.

The two boys coughed out blood and weakly cried as their innards spilled out onto the grass and stone. Their chests fell still once all breathing and heartbeats had ceased. The ice-steel-type Pokemon yanked her soiled sharp claws out of the Turtwig and his partner. "Just following orders, damned Amelia." Her eyes fell to the bloody ground and she sighed.

In a brightly light corner of Midori Mori City, a door to a Doctor's Office opened. Then entered a Corvisquire, a Treecko, and a Snubull, they wiped their feet on the doormat before they stepped further inside. A circular clock read that it was Four Thirty-Five PM. Right on time.

"Ah, hello again!" the clerk smiled at the group. The female Indeedee then stared at the flying-type before she did a double-take. "Oh my goodness! Doctor Lanturn come quickly!" She panicked.

Astesia turned her head to the side and looked at the wooden floor. "Aw, goodness, I wish she wouldn't freak out.. even I have to get used to this new body."

Linus looked up at the Sentinel; her new size, something he would take forever to get used to. "I knew they would react this way."

"Yeah, it was crazy when you were resting and then you started flashing and glowing all of a sudden. I've never seen an evolution myself." CJ adjusted the scarf around his neck. "Well partially. I don't remember my older brother and sister's evolution at all, I probably wasn't even with them when it happened."

Soon Dr. Alexander Lanturn entered the reception room a look of shock and excitement plastered on his face. "Astesia, Linus, Cooper Junior, greetings."

The large bird blushed as she lifted her wrapped wing in greeting at the water-electric-type. "H-hi Dawktah Lanturn, as you can see I've evolved." The boys beside her smiled and waved to the angler fish Pokemon.

"Just as you were scheduled to come back for an evaluation after surgery! This is quite interesting, come with me." He quickly floated around the Corvisquire before flying away and down the hall.

CJ ruffled Astesia's feathers when they arrived at Dr. Alexander's door. "It'll be okay." He woofed gently.

After several minutes of questions, procedures, and information the Corvisquire was dismissed. "You may feel different, look different and sound different from before but that's just evolution, even your wings going to not feel right after the procedure."

"Dhank you so much for the discount on the rod placement surgery, you are such an amazing surgeon Dawktah Alexander." Doctor.. err I don't fully understand why my voice has an accent now.

The Lanturn smiled before he clasped his yellowfins around the flying-type. "No, thank you. Your League is giving my son Aoijo a new environment to learn and grow stronger with some of his friends."

"Oh right, my Teammates in Team Sharp Claw have rescued those kids out of Midori Mori Forest Doctor." The Treecko clenched his fist. "Aoijo and his friends are most likely already making a new home for themselves at the League."

CJ suddenly lit up and began to wag his tail. "Speaking of the new home, we have some reinforcements for Team Aegisdrip and Blue Heroes arriving soon. The two Pokemon from a Guild in the Nebula Continent have most definitely made their way towards Bristberg by now. "

Doctor Alexander scribbled something down on a set of papers and looked up from his desk. "That Sobble was hurt badly after his Father passed ten years ago, I promised the Mon I would be there for his son…" He then handed the documents to the Snubbull. "I know you promised to get back to your League. Have safe travels, my young friends."

Astesia, CJ, and Linus back near the entrance of Midori Mori City, to check into an inn recommended by Sir Mcbone and Sir Cooper. The Sunny Day Inn.

Team Sharp Claw, after they went across the whole bamboo and steel structured city finally arrived at the Strong Will Guild. Many Pagoda or foreign-styled buildings had paper sliding doors, archways connecting tall bridges, and Pointu roofs. There were red lanterns placed on street corners, illuminating the late evening sky.

The sentry recorded the status of the Pokemon but said she needed to call the correspondents over to escort them. "Susei and Meadow are dealing with a little dispute so it will be a while."

"No problem." The Totodile replied as the hatch closed.

"Thank you for waiting so patiently, see ya!" The Sentry's voice boomed. Then the Pokemon from Bristberg relaxed, and let their guard down.

"Oh my fucking goodness, what a huge ass city." Glade yawned as she lay on a bench underneath an awning. She turned her head towards a large cherry tree in the courtyard. "It is a nice change of place compared to boring cobblestone paths and mountains back home."

"This is a culturally diverse place, all living in this humid landscape." Hatchet fanned himself with some folded paper. "Who knew the 'Green Woods' City would end up so hot?" He sat next to Voltaru and Nevada on the same metal bench.

The Pikachu rolled onto their back and traced their new chest scar. "Not me," they stared at the fallen cherry blossoms. "I wouldn't have guessed it."

Charmander stretched their arms just as a side door opened. "Oh wow, they are ready for us to come on in." They told their teammates with a covered yawn. The fire-type watched as the Axew and Pikachu pulled themselves up.

However, their water-type companion lagged when she caught a look at the sentry. Rage, fear, and horror clouded her mind as she bore her fangs. Hatchet quickly grabbed her free hand and squeezed it. "Calm down we just have to wait for Susei and my cousin Meadow." He whispered.

The sentry was a large lime-green Jolteon, and with spark-blue tufts of fur. She was an electric-type. And shiny. Her eyes studied all the members of the League then she trotted forward to sniff them. The Guild member's verdant bristly fur rubbed on the travelers one by one as she took in their scents.

"Don't fucking touch me!" Glade tried to push away the dog's snout. To stop the water-type from biting, the dragon-type clamped her big jaw shut. Hatchet heard her muffled yells of protest and prayed she would settle down.

The eeveelultion would not budge. "I haven't even done anything!" She reminded the gator with a bark. "I'm doing the job the Guildmasters gave me! Submit!"

The Totodile pried herself from the Axew's grip and was about to lash out before a webbed hand was placed on her shoulder. Voltaru and Nevada looked above the gator while she stood slack-jawed.

There was a towering Greninja and then an even taller Sceptile. "Roxxy, this one here has electrophobia." The frog said with a forlorn look in her eyes. "Back off." The Jolteon stepped back from the older Guild members.

Roxxy whimpered in confusion but then the grass-type scratched her behind the ears. "We got it from here." Meadow flashed her a grin.

Soon Team Sharp Claw arrived at the Guildmasters office. "Thanks for stopping by!" The Sceptile smiled and waved before he ran towards Hatchet. "Haven't seen ya in a long time little cuz, we'll have to catch up later."

His Greninja partner silently nodded her while she patted Glade's head. Voltaru could feel something strangely familiar from the water-dark-type and twitched their long ears. "How did you know she has the fear of electric-type's Susei?"

The frog didn't answer the Pikachu at first, she just waved before both office doors opened. "I saw what happened that day."

There was a Lucario with bright purple eyes next to an oddly dark grey Charmeleon. "Why hello Bristberg League members!" The fighting-steel-type hugged Voltaru tightly and stroked their fur. His voice was peppy unlike the spikes on his forearms and chest which he made sure didn't connect with the Pikachu.

"Thank you Susei, Meadow." Started the Charmeleon before she adjusted the armbands on her biceps. "I am Guildmaster Parker Charmeleon and this is my good friend Guildmaster Lucky Lucario."

The mouse underneath the jackal was freed when he let go. "Yep, now we just wanted to have a little discussion about Wicked Blow with you all." The blue and black Pokemon walked inside the room and wagged his tail. Everyone followed him, except the vice Guildmasters.

"I'll cut to the chase, I have an urgent request for you all." Parker's orange eyes shone brightly. "Please, could you assist Team Three-Point and locate our teams in the Twin-Star Continent."

The four younger Pokemon were taken back. "A-are they in danger right as we speak?" Worried Nevada as their flame matched the other Lizards.

"No, well we hope not." The Lucario sensed the Charmander's aura. "I don't know the location of the other Wicked Blow members on this Continent or any of the others but at least all of our younger members are out of harm's way here."

Hatchet ran a claw across one of his stripes. "Well our friends in Team Rebirth are tracking Amelia Weavile and they have probably found wind of her by now."

The grey Charmeleon ran her claws along with her knees to her thigh. "I've heard rumors of a Leafeon in Wicked Blow named Kanamori."

"Kanamori Leafeon, son of a Ditto, is looking for some mana keys and locks to make money off of them and will force other Sentinels to help him look for a Temple."

Voltaru's cheeks flared. "You can't call these kinds of bastards Sentinels. They don't protect shit."

Lucario tilted his big ears. "You and Hatchet must Sentinels. I can feel your frustration and pain. Right now we have four trainees and two full-fledged members who have been stationed at Cuora Torterra's ExpeditionSociety. "

Glade opened her eyes and sat forward before she looked down. "We'll have to write back to our Chief and Coordinator before we take any further actions." The Totodile stated firmly.

The Charmeleon rolled up a piece of charcoal. "Understood."

Lucky swatted away the paper. "Now, now that can wait." He then wagged his tail. "That sounds good, we don't have anyone details at the moment."

"That is right, Voltaru didn't Sir Cooper specifically want a letter from you?" Asked Nevada, they ignored Parker's charcoal as the fumes entered their nose.

The Pikachu placed a paw on their forehead. "Ahahaha, I may cough need some assistance." They nudged their Axew partner with their slanted tail.

Hatchet's eyes lit up. "Don't worry, I'll help you, matter of fact when we get back to the inn we'll all write up some letters!"

Glade exhaled as she pushed in her chair. "Tell Roxxy I'm sorry for snapping at her, alright."

"Sure can do, we understand your situation thanks to Susei, it's fine." The Lucario opened up the door.

The disgruntled older fire-type pulled at her fellow Guildmaster's armband. "There will be a Quilladin and Combusken that may come over to deliver any news, at the inn or the League."

"W-we'll be heading to Fourtree Inn after dinner with Meadow and Susei, I'll tell the receptionist to expect them," Nevada explained as they gathered the team's bag from off the tile.

Lucky placed his fist into his palm. "That's right, Meadow is Hatchet's older cousin, makes sense, and Susei would invite you guys to dinner." He licked his chops as his friend got closer. " Goodbye, guys! I'll miss you!"

Parker straightened the Charmander's scarf. "I come from the Grass Continent but we might be blood. The taller fire-type then crossed her arms. "Farewell."

Then she ruffled Voltaru's head. "I am like you." She whispered.

What does that even mean? The Pikachu tilted their ears in thought.

"We better actually head on out y'all." Hatchet reminded his teammates as he made his way to the door, everyone following suit. Then Team Sharp Claw finally exited the Strong Will Guild. The four Pokemon Team Rebirth and Linus made their way to the same restaurant
