It had been four hours since Oceanic 815 crashed onto a myserious island. Jack walked along the beach and saw the woman who stitched him up sitting at the edge of the beach. "Hey,i'm Jack," said Jack sitting down next to Kate. "I'm Kate," said Kate and she started crying. Jack noticed that she was crying and put his arm around her,he was shocked when she turned around and put her arm around Jack and carried on crying. "Are you alright?" asked Jack rubbing Kate's back. "Yeah,thanks i'm sorry,"apologised Kate letting go of Jack. "What for?" asked Jack. "For crying in front of you," replied Kate. "You don't need to apologise,I don't mind," said Jack realising how close they were sitting,their arms were touching. "Hey Freckles,want to come and sit close to me,like your doing to the Doc?" asked Sawyer from behind them. "I'm alright here,and the names Kate not Freckles," said Kate not bothering to look back. Jack was surprised that Kate didn't move away from him. "Suit yourself," said Sawyer walking away. "Who's that?" asked Jack. "He's Sawyer,he seems to have a crush on me," replied Kate staring at the ocean. "Don't you like him in that way?" asked Jack. "No,not really, I don't like the bad boy type I normally go for men like you," explained Kate smiling at Jack. "Oh really?" asked Jack smiling back at Kate. "Yeah,maybe that's why I like you so much," replied Kate. A few minutes later she relised what she had said and she blushed. "I'm sorry,I can't believe I said that,I barely know you," said Kate. "Don't say sorry,I like you alot to," said Jack. "But I was here with a marshal,I killed someone Jack,because he abused me and I couldn't handle him doing it to me no more," cried Kate. "We all get a new life on this island,it dosn't mater what we did before the crash," said Jack and hugged Kate. When they finished hugging they stared at each other and Jack started smiling at Kate. Before Kate could stop herself she was kissing Jack. After a few minutes Kate pulled away and looked shocked at what she had done. "I'm sorry,I barely know you,i'm really sorry," apologised Kate standing up and walked off away from Jack.
The next day Kate woke up and remembered what happened the night before when she kissed Jack.Kate walked out of her tent and decided to go look for the cockpit . Unfortunatley for Kate Jack saw her heading off into the jungle and walked over to her. "Kate where are you going?" asked Jack. "I'm going to look for the cockpit," replied Kate not looking at Jack. "I'm coming with you," said Jack. "Fine," said Kate and carried on walking into the jungle. "Kate,I didn't mind you kissing me and I do like you alot it's just I barely know you,can't we get to know each other before we get together is that ok?" asked Jack. "Yeah I understand," replied Kate.
