IMPOSTOR

"Is everyone accounted for?" Izuku asked. "Kacchan wandered off earlier."

"No, I'm right here."

Bakugo gave a lazy wave. Kaminari whispered, "Is it me, or does Bakugo seem too chill?"

"What did you just say?" Bakugo roared.

"Never mind, he's fine."

As they rounded a hallway, Bakugo tapped on Kaminari's shoulder. When he turned around, Bakugo pressed a hand over his mouth and dragged him into a secluded room. Moments later, Bakugo and Kaminari walked back out together.

"The control room is just beyond this Secure Kontainment and Emergency Lights Depot," Izuku said as they passed through an entrance into a long, winding series of rooms.

"Why is containment spelled with a K?"

"Because the C got blown up with the rest of the Alderaan."

An alarm blared, "Intruder detected. Sealing off S.K.E.L.D."

The two doors leading out of the area slammed shut. Mineta pounded on the walls and wailed, "We're doomed!"

"I can get us out of here, but I have a list of tasks I need each of you to do." Holographic displays hovered before each student. "Once they're all complete, I can open the doors."

"This feels awfully contrived," Jiro said. "Why do we have to do a medscan?"

Izuku disappeared. With a shrug, the students split up to get their tasks done. Over in the reactor, Iida was opening the manifolds as the vent next to him popped open. "Oh, hello, Kaminari-san. How did you fit in there?"

Moments later, Ochako walked in. A megaphone popped out of the ceiling.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

"Report the body," Izuku answered.

"Uh, okay."

The moment Ochako pressed the button, everyone teleported to the table in the cafeteria. "Come on, I was just about to finish my download!"

"Uh, I found Iida's legs in the reactor room."

"Just his legs?"

"Ooh!" Mineta shouted. "I know what's going on! There's an impostor among us!"

Everyone glared at Mineta. Sato stood and grabbed Mineta by his head. While the others opened the airlock, Sato said, "Yeet the child!" and chucked him into outer space.

"So… back to work?"

Yaoyorozu followed Kaminari into the admin room. Seconds later, she ran up and pressed the button at the table.

"Again?" Sato shouted. "Could you have waited two seconds for my download?"

"Kaminari finished card-swipe on the first try."

Everyone stared at Kaminari. Kaminari stared blankly back. Seconds later, the assassin robot drifted through outer space.

"Guess he was a robot after all," Yaoyorozu said loudly while they were all at the table. "Good thing we killed it, since robots are all evil, right?"

Bakugo said, "That's such an overplayed stereotype. Robots are no different morally than any other sentient being."

Everyone stared in shock at Bakugo. Seconds later, Sato slammed the button hard enough to shatter the table and robo-Bakugo drifted through outer space.

The doors opened. Izuku appeared and said, "I hacked the system."

Outside, Mineta pounded on the ship and shouted, "Let me in! Let me in!"

So, the reason this is late is because last night, I wrote a drabble. I said, "This is a great drabble and all, but where are those assassin droids I mentioned last time?" So, I made this, and that is getting posted on Sunday.
