Alice squinted her eyes as she tried her best to make out her reflection on the rust stained and cracked mirror, inside a dingy little restroom. All she could really see from it all were two vibrant green eyes. They used to be a blue, but she had no clue when it had turned green.
'Green as envy.' She smiled at the thought, while fiddling with a lock of her brunette hair. All her lovely golden hair grew out and was now replaced with such a dull color. Or at least in Alice's opinion.
Then again, the color reminded her of a young boy she had met when she was still happy. Still...sane. A frown graced her features as she made an attempt to remember, but all she could come up with was a flash of blue eyes, spiky hair and a smile.
"I can't seem to remember." A pout adorned her face. "I wonder what his name was?" She spoke out loud as if that would solve her memory problem.
"S..." The name was on the tip of her tongue, she knew, and it annoyed her because of it. "S...S...something."
Blue eyes that's as mesmerizing as the sky.
"What could it possibly be?"
A smile that could light up a room.
"This is much much harder than I'd imagined."
Spiky, yet soft brunette hair.
"Sora, I wish I could remember your name..."
A cherub like voice that hadn't cracked from reaching adulthood.
...So full of light.
"Alice..."
"What about her?"
"Huh? Oh, uh it's nothing Ernie..."
We're all mad here.
A/N: It's not good when one fic takes over your brain so much that's it's hard to write short stories that has nothing to do with it. It's my lame attempt at SoraxAlice. I wrote this today during my government class... and I couldn't stop thinking about Silent Hill 3. Heh. Anywho, it's a bit of crossover fic since the Alice in there is supposed to be the American McGee's Alice.
Last line is a quote from the Chesire Cat from the actual book. Also, Ernie is actually Anti-Sora. Yeaaah.
