WITHDRAWAL

Kaminari, with frazzled hair, wide, bloodshot eyes, and shaking hands, tenderly lifted a stone cube into place atop a rock shelf. His hands darted over the grooves in the shelf, mimicking the click-clack of a keyboard with his fingernails.

"Need Steam…" Kaminari rasped. "Where is it? It's not on my desktop anymore."

On the cave wall nearby, Mina etched a series of lines into the stone wall with her fingernail, leaving one line, then two of equal height, two with one shorter, and lastly, two, with one horizontal.

"Is this loss?" Mina asked eerily as she caressed the etched wall. "Never gonna give you up…"

Mineta, with all the care and reverence a man might devote to a goddess, gently tapped a mallet against the chisel he held against a hunk of rock. Midnight, etched in marble, stood nearly naked in carved stone. After Mineta carved out her cleavage, he rubbed his face against it.

"They don't jiggle, why don't they jiggle, what good are they if you can't squeeze them?"

Sato tore apart the stone bust with his bare hands, shouting "The walls are closing in!" His manic eyes darted about the cave. "You'll never take me alive! Say hello to my little friend!"

He grabbed Mineta by the skull and fired him like a machine gun, spraying purple spheres all over the place. One landed on Tokoyami's head, but he didn't even pause in his frantic rocking.

"It's dark, too dark, no gentle glow of computer screens, no flashing of an LED keyboard, not even the thin sliver of cell phone or tablet to hold the darkness at bay, and what a darkness it is, living in this tech-deprived wasteland, soul-starved and restless of mind."

At the cave's entrance, Mandalay gave the obsessed students a worried look. "Shouldn't we do something?"

Aizawa, sitting back in a lawn chair and sucking jelly out of a pouch, said, "Yes, I think you're right." He cleared his throat and asked, "Would any of you like to know the Wi-Fi password?"

Every head in the cave swiveled towards him. The students threw themselves at his feet and groveled for the password, promising to train harder, get better grades, and give him their firstborn children.

"Very well. The password is KittiesRSoCute245."

The students scrambled for their cellphones, only to realize that no one had any devices on them. As moans of despair rose from the students, Mandalay gaped in shock at Aizawa.

"Are you sure you aren't a villain?"

Aizawa grinned and sipped his coffee. "For what they put me through, they deserve it."

Izuku's eyes glowed, and he said, "Password accepted. Wi-Fi connection established."

Mina rushed over and said, "Do a meme, any meme, I need it!"

"Generating meme. Do you know da wae?"

As Kaminari started playing Doom on Izuku, Aizawa asked, "How do you even get WiFi out here?"

"My Quirk," Izuku answered.

Aizawa tried erasing his Quirk, but nothing happened. Rubbing his eyes, Aizawa muttered, "Damn. Worth a shot."

Still sick with COVID, but I'm still alive! Only symptom left is difficulty breathing, and boy howdy is it my least favorite! Can barely go up/down a flight of stairs without getting a bit dizzy. Blood O2 levels are stable, but sure doesn't feel like it at times.
