Terra Unfirma
The Team was heading to the Ben Shui Temple in Tibet after Mira, Camille, and Jade returned to their proper bodies with the power of the Sheep Talisman. As the group were traveling the girls were talking about their out of body experiences.
"I never thought I'd be glad to be back in my own skin again," Jade said.
"That makes two of us," Camille said, "Being in Mira's body while being unable to use Chi magic or Dragon powers was tough."
"Hey are you saying it was tough being in my shoes?" Mira retorted, "Try being stuck in the body of a pre teen."
"It was cool being in Camille's body," Jade said, "But trying to fly with wings was a bit difficult and mastering multiple breath types and figuring out which one to use in the heat of battle was tough."
"Now you know why I need more training than the other Dragons around my age," Camille said, "Still we learned a bit from all of this."
"Indeed we should be happy with what we're able to do and not complain about what we aren't able to do," Mira said.
"Wise words indeed," Cyndi spoke, "I'm just glad that I'm even here at all. But I have a question. If we're looking for an ox then why are we in the Himalayas?"
"Because the locator spell has already confirmed what my niece sensed regarding the power of the Ox Talisman," Councilor Vivian spoke as she was the one carrying Uncle and holding the cow bell at the same time, "The power of Super Strength held by the Noble Yak is located here in the Himalayas and if I'm right it's gonna be a familiar face for some of us."
"Okay so why did we bring Bob and Scruffy again?" Jackie asked as the animals in question were climbing via the path Camille made with her Earth Element.
"Because Daolon Wong and Arcanon are sure to try and get the Ox Talisman power and they're gonna send a massive army to get it," Camille said, "So the only way we'll have a chance is if I have all four Earth Sign Talisman Powers in hand to fight the army and give you guys enough time to get the animals themselves back to Section 13."
"Camille's right," Tohru spoke, "We already lost the Horse Power to Daolon Wong and we need to get to Las Vegas to confirm what Johnathan Long suspected about the power of the Tiger Talisman."
"But we need to climb at a steady pace," Jackie spoke as they arrived at the top of the cliff they were scaling just as the cow bell glowed around Vivian's neck.
"Well the cowbell has confirmed that the power is here," said Vivian. "Unfortunately the Ox power is on the other side of the mountain which means we got a few options."
"And what options would those be?" Jade asked.
"We either climb back down and go to other side of the mountain," said Uncle prompting the rest of the team to groan.
"Or I could use my earth element and the power of Combustion to just blast our way through," Camille spoke, "Then again those options run the risk of causing a landslide or an avalanche."
Before Camille could do much of anything the mountain began to shake as a rockslide occurred.
"Time to take cover now," Jackie said as the group took cover while Vivian who was already in dragon formation took to the skies with Uncle riding on her back and the cow bell around her neck as the group avoided the falling rocks but just as quickly the rock slide stopped.
"Okay that was quick but what the heck caused the shaking?" Cyndi asked, "And why did it stop?"
As if on cue the Yak from the Ben-Shui Temple appeared and it was walking towards the group and the Cow Bell was shining brightly as it was pulling Uncle and Vivian towards the Yak.
"Hey look at that. It's Yaka the Yak belonging to the previous Chosen One of the Ben Shui Order," said Camille.
"I thought you said we were looking for a Noble ox," Mira spoke, "Last time I checked a Yak was not in the Chinese Zodiac."
"A yak is a type of ox and this yak is the Ox we seek," Uncle said as the Ox Talisman shown in the Yak's eyes. "We must get the Yak to the safety of the Ben-Shui Temple before the forces of Darkness descend upon us."
Right on cue Shadowkhan Ninjas arrived and were ready to take the ox and eliminate the heroes.
"Okay what's with the ninjas?" Cyndi asked.
"Those are Shadowkhan and we need to fight them," Mira said only for Vivian to pass Uncle and the Cowbell to Tohru.
"Stand back and let me show you what a trained dragon can do," The Dragon of Asia said.
The Shadowkhan began to attack but Vivian exhaled a large fireball into the air. It landed in the middle of the Shadowkhan blasting them into the shadows from whence they came. Vivian was swift, fierce and all consuming in her strength, acting as a living, breathing wildfire that was given sentience thought. No Shadowkhan ninja was spared from either a slash of her tail, a swipe of her claws, a mark from her fangs and flames.
"Woah! The new Dragon Councillor's got some moves," Jade said impressed.
"Awesome!" said Cyndi.
"That's what I call butt kicking," Mira said as Vivian tossed the last of the Shadowkhan into each other causing them to vanish.
"Are you okay Vivian?" Camille asked worried for her aunt as she and Cyndi could see she was feeling exhausted.
"Yes, as one gets older it takes longer to recover," said Vivian. "Come let's get Yaka back to the Ben Shui Temple."
"Perhaps we should let you ride on Yaka," said Cyndi suggested as Vivian and Uncle were riding on the yak, "But still if I had to guess I'd say Yaka found something he wanted from the other side of the mountain and could smell it."
Yaka smelled Jade's energy bar and ate it.
"Guess he must have a super strong sense of smell if he wanted Jade's energy bar," Jackie said.
At Daolon Wong's temple The Forces of Darkness were not happy with this latest development.
"It seems that the Dragon Council is interfering in our affairs and this new Dragon of Asia is gonna be a big problem," Lord Arcanon said, "We're gonna need a bit more muscle."
"Perhaps your personal bodyguard and the Enforcers might help," said Daolon.
"Actually, I have another plan for them and I want to test something about the Ben Shui Temple," said Arcanon, "I already sent them there to preform the test. However, I do have a hair from Hak Foo you can use. Using this in combination with your Dark Chi Magic should help and the Ben Shui Temple may prevent you from breaking in but it has no effect against somebody like me or the enforcers and Hak Foo."
Daolon took the hair sample from Arcanon and used his magic to create a new Dark Chi Warrior.
Later that Night the group was already heading to the Ben Shui Temple with Vivian and Camille flying beside carrying Uncle and Mira respectively since Jackie and Tohru were pulling Bob and Yaka respectively since Cyndi.
"So what's the plan for when we get to the temple?" Cyndi asked as she and Jade were riding upon Yaka and Jade was holding Scruffy.
"We transfer the Talisman Powers back into the Talismans themselves," said Vivian. "Or at the very least put the powers into my Niece."
"But I thought Jackie destroyed the Talismans," Jade said.
"He did but do you remember when you had all the powers and the Talismans themselves were powerless?" Camille asked.
"Yeah I remember that," said Jade.
"Turns out I used the duplication spell I helped you refine to copy the Talismans and I hid the originals at the Ben Shui Temple," Camille said. "But we still have to drain out the power of the Horse Talisman and get that back from Daolon Wong."
"And then there's the fact that we brought the Sheep and Dog Powers with us," Jackie said, "They need to stay at Section 13."
"Arcanon is bound to have a massive army attack the Temple and I'm gonna need all the power I can get to fend him off," said Camille, "The Talisman powers have an additional effect on me when I hold them. For example, the Sheep Talisman may be useless to you in a fight but when I hold it my earth element power increases by 25%."
"And you're already strong enough with one Earth Sign Power," said Mira, "But I have a terrible feeling that you'll need all four Earth Sign Talisman Powers to take on Arcanon."
"Which is probably what Lord Arcanon and Daolon Wong are counting on," said Tohru as they got closer to the temple.
"But at this rate we may have no choice but to put all the Talisman powers in a single vessel," said Vivian, "Fortunately for us they still do not know who the Elemental Dragon Girl is in Human form which gives us a chance."
"Speaking of which I had better transfer the power now," Uncle said as he began to chant.
"And what do you want us to do?" asked Camille.
"Keep the birds off of me," Uncle said as he prepared to Transfer the ox talisman power.
In the Mindscape Uncle's head was floating as he saw the Symbol of the Ox, Sheep, and Dog Talismans.
"The Ox, Sheep, and Dog Talisman Powers," Uncle spoke as he began to transfer the powers.
In the Waking World Camille and Vivian were still in Dragon Form and they and the group were protecting Uncle when Daolon Wong appeared.
"Olly olly oxen free," Daolon Wong said showing up.
Jackie prepared to kick Daolon Wong before he waved his staff as a new Dark Chi Warrior appeared and this one resembled Hak Foo only much more muscular than the others.
"Wait is that Hak Foo?" asked Mira.
"Either Daolon turned Hak Foo into a Dark Chi Warrior or Arcanon gave him a sample of Hak Foo's DNA and he used that as a template to make the new warrior," said Vivian, "Either way he's a big threat."
"Attack," Daolon said to the new Dark Chi Warrior as the new Warrior leaped into action before landing in a meteor and blasted a hole in the ground causing the team to avoid and evade.
Camille used her tail and dragon strength to toss a log at the new Dark Chi Warrior only to find that it had no effect.
"Okay this is much worse than I thought," Camille said, "Any suggestions?"
"Use the Power of the Dragon," said Mira as she was riding on Camille's back.
"Duh," Camille said as she used her Earth Power that was strengthened by having the Dragon Talisman power in her possession and shook the earth causing the new Dark Chi Warrior to lose balance only for the new warrior to leap into the air and land like a meteor causing a huge crater to appear. "This is gonna be harder than we thought."
"Remember the Power of the Dragon isn't just the Earth Element," said Mira.
Camille took Mira's advice and used her Ice breath to try and freeze the new Dark Chi Warrior to spin like a tornado and block the ice attack as Daolon Wong went right into a trance knowing Lord Arcanon could handle things.
In Uncle's Mindscape Uncle had finished transferring the Sheep and Dog Talisman Powers and was now close to transferring the Ox Talisman Power when Daolon Wong's floating head showed up.
"Daolon Wong," Uncle yelled.
"You may have finished transferring the Sheep and Dog Talisman Powers but you haven't finished the transfer of the Ox Talisman Power nor will you," Daolon sneered before blasting Uncle.
In the Waking World Arcanon had joined the battle and was sending wave after wave of Shadowkhan after the heroes which forced Vivian to step into battle.
"This is getting ridiculous," Mira said shooting at the Shadowkhan with her shock pistol. "Jade please tell me Uncle's almost done."
"We're getting thrashed out here," Camille said torching another batch of Shadowkhan Ninjas with her Earth Power and the Dragon Talisman Power.
"Hurry up Uncle," Jade said.
Back in the Mindscape, Daolon Wong was blasting at Uncle as he continued the power transfer.
"You are headstrong Wizard but not for long," Daolon said as he began sucking in Uncle's floating head into his mouth.
Back in the Waking World Daolon Wong returned from his trance and began to attack and try to steal the ox just to see if the power was still there. He tossed Jade away and went to find the ox power only to see it was no longer present which to him and Arcanon meant that all was going according to plan.
"The Ox Power has been transferred," Daolon Wong said, "But no matter. I've got what I came for anyway."
Daolon Wong presented an orb with Uncle's head inside before he left on that note as did Zhen.
"Okay what the heck just happened?" Mira asked.
"I'll explain everything but not here," said Vivian, "Let's get to the Temple."
At the Temple the group were staring at Uncle's prone form and looking at Vivian for answers.
"Daolon has taken Uncle's life force," Councilor Vivian said.
"What does that mean?" Mira asked.
"What that means is that until we get it back Uncle is stuck like this," said Vivian.
"Your friend is correct," One of the Monks of the Ben Shui order said, "However Uncle was able to transfer the powers as planned."
"Great so all we gotta do is find the powers," said Mira, "Fortunately for us the Cowbell is still intact so we just have to point it to the location."
Sure enough Mira presented the Cow Bell but unfortunately it was showing no reaction.
"I don't understand it the bell was working before," said Cyndi, "What gives?"
"Wait a minute the last time this happened was when were looking for the Dragon Talisman Power," said Jade, "Perhaps Uncle completed the transfer and put the Earth Sign Talisman Powers in the one place that can mask then."
All eyes then turned to Camille.
"Somehow I figured he'd do that," said Camille, "But this means that Daolon Wong and Arcanon probably figured that out and while the security may keep out Daolon' Dark Chi Warriors it has no such defense against humans and Arcanon himself."
"Which means he's going to be here soon enough," Vivian said, "Jackie you and Tohru must get to Daolon Wong's Temple and retrieve Uncle's life force. Once that's done we'll take a plane back to Section 13 with the Noble Animals."
"Good plan," said Camille, "We'll just wait for that."
"Actually Camille you'll be heading back to Section 13 via Magical Elevator," said Vivian
"The Magical Elevators are capable of doing that?" Jackie asked.
"Of course they are," said Camille, "I'm the reason why the magical creatures of the West Coast have been feeling safer than usual. Not to mention I'm the reason why there's a magical elevator in Section 13."
"Okay but if Jackie and Tohru are going after Uncle's life force what are we going to do?" Cyndi asked.
"First you must convince Yaka that we are not a threat and that we must guide him to the plane," said the Dragon of Asia, "Once we do that we can safely transfer the talisman powers back to the noble animals."
"Sounds like a good plan," said Jackie, "And I think it's best that Jade return to Section 13 as well where it is safe."
"Bad idea," said Carol, "Arcanon can break into Section 13 with that Black Steel Sword of his. The security measures around here are much older than the ones around Section 13 so it's best Camille and Jade remain here."
"Carol's right," said Vivian, "She and Camille do not return until we have Uncle's life force. He is the only one who knows how to transfer the Talisman Powers back. Besides I need to borrow the Astral Talisman Power to confirm something that Johnathan Long said earlier about the Tiger Talisman."
"Very well aunt Vivian," said Camille as she and Vivian entered the Lotus Position before they used the Sheep Talisman Power to go to Vegas to check on Johnathan Long's claim.
"We'd better get going Tohru," said Jackie as he and Tohru headed to Daolon Wong's Lair to retrieve Uncle's life force.
At Daolon Wong's castle in Asia the Dark Chi Wizard and Lord Arcanon were discussing their next plan as swarms of Shadowkhan were patrolling the area for intruders.
"What's the progress on testing the Muscle Gear?" asked Arcanon to the Enforcers and Hak Foo.
"The Muscle Gear has made us stronger and allowed us to pull of even more powerful moves than before," said Chow "It's enhancing my strength speed and made me invisible."
"And it's also done the same for us as well," Finn said, "We've even tested it out by robbing a bank."
"We're becoming better super villains now," said Ratso.
"But there's still the matter of what happens if we have to preform in rain," said Chow.
"That's why I've given you new versions of the gear I was developing," said Arcanon, "And I made a few upgrades so that the Muscle Gear won't short out in the rain."
"Hopefully we'll get a chance to test it in battle," Hak Foo spoke, "I want a rematch with chan and I intend to claim the power of super strength."
"Perhaps if all goes well I may be able to give you the power to move mountains and crush solid rock with your bare hands if all goes well," said Arcanon, "But anyway you saw the Dark Chi Warrior Daolon Wong was able to make with a sample of your hair and his dark magic."
"Indeed and I'm already impressed with Daolon Wong even more," said Hak Foo, "But you said that you would have something for me."
"Indeed I do Hak Foo but for now we still need to iron out any flaws in the Muscle Gear that I wish for you to test for me," said Arcanon, "But for now go to Las Vegas and take the Enforcers with you. I need you to look for a White Tiger. When you find it use this to summon me."
Hak Foo nodded as Arcanon presented him with a cell phone number before sending him and the Enforcers to Vegas with some Spending Money.
Meanwhile Jackie and Tohru were continuing the climb and arrived at Daolon Wong's temple and were preparing for battle.
"Remember Daolon Wong and Arcanon have the place heavily guarded but let's hope we have the Element of Surprise," Jackie said.
Right on cue a swarm of Shadowkhan appeared before them and attacked.
Jackie used his martial arts skills while Tohru used his strength to kick the Shadowkhan Ninjas into dust.
Wave after wave came after them and they were defeated each time till they found the orb that was holding Uncle's life force.
"Sensei!" Tohru said going to Uncle.
"Jackie Tohru!" Uncle said, "Get Uncle out of here at once! The Forces of Darkness have learned valuable Information regarding the location of not only the Dragon Talisman power but also where the Earth Sign Talisman Powers have been Transferred too."
"Then why haven't they attacked yet," said Jackie.
"Elemental Dragon Girl is too powerful for them to attack right away," Uncle said, "But Uncle managed to hear something about new extraction Method Arcanon was working on testing."
"Then we better warn the Elemental Dragon Girl and Fast," said Tohru.
"And tell her to stay in Section 13 where it is safe until further notice," said Jackie.
"Right now we must get moving before Arcanon finds out," Tohru said as the group left without another word unaware that they were falling right into Lord Arcanon's trap as a robotic mosquito began following them.
Later at the Ben Shui Temple Vivian and Tohru were almost finished with the spell to return Uncle's life force to his body.
"And that should do it," said Vivian as she added the last ingredient.
"Are you sure this will work?" Tohru asked, "The book says."
"Tohru the book may give details but it is only a guide," said Vivian, "I've experimented with plenty of good chi magic and potions and I have found that by making variations you get different results."
"Dragon of Asia is correct," Uncle said, "Trust the Dragon Master."
Tohru agreed as he added the final ingredient to the potion to free Uncle's Life Force.
The orb holding Uncle's life force shattered as Uncle's floating head returned to his body.
"Well how do you feel?" Cyndi asked as she had the Sheep, Ox, and Dog behind her.
"Uncle is back," Uncle spoke as he was back in his body. "But Uncle has more bad news. Arcanon managed to dig very deep into Uncle's mind and find out the information on where the Dragon Talisman Power is and confirm the identity of the Elemental Dragon Girl."
"Which means it's only a matter of time before he tells Daolon Wong about me," said Camille, "But why hasn't he done it yet?"
"He's probably waiting until all the other Talisman Powers have been found First before he comes after you," said Vivian, "Fortunately for us your powers may mask the Talisman magic from being detected by regular means but I have a feeling that you may need to keep the powers for a little longer. If I'm right and Daolon Wong is about to make a big move then we'll need all the power we can get to take him on. Maybe we can even use his own greed against him."
"How do you suggest we do that?" Mira asked.
"If I can gather the necessary ingredients together you'll see soon enough," said the Dragon of Asia, "But we may not have enough time. In the meantime since the Magical Elevator may not support animals we may have to have Camille reveal another ability."
"Another Ability?" Jade asked. "What is it?"
"The power to transport groups of people form one location to another," Camille said before casting a spell, "Uthe Sazure!"
The group felt themselves teleporting from the temple and moments later they were back in Section 13.
"How did we end up back here?" asked Jackie.
"That would be my doing," Camille said, "As the Elemental Dragon Girl I can transport people and animals from one location. Normally I'd need a lot more training to do this but with all of the Earth Sign Talisman Powers transferred in me I was able to do so without too much trouble."
"Either way we better get cracking," said Uncle, "Daolon Wong already knows the Location of the Next Noble Animal."
"And so do we," Tohru said, "We should go to Las Vegas."
"But that's after we get some rest," said Vivian, "A tired warrior is bound to make mistakes."
"Vivian is correct," Camille said before yawning, "Besides I need to snooze."
Camille headed off to go and snooze and rest up while the team prepared for the next mission.
