Monkey A Go Go
In Uncle's Rare Finds, Vivian and the Chans were working on a Locator Spell to find the power of the Monkey Talisman.
"A little bit more to the right, Vivian," the Chi Wizard said to Vivian.
Normally Tohru would be helping Uncle with the spell, but since he wasn't the flexible type so Camille recommended her aunt Vivian be the one to help in place of Tohru.
"How is this, Chi Wizard Chan?" the current Dragon of Asia asked as she used her left hand to hold the bananas out to the left in a good spot.
"That's excellent now raise your right leg," Uncle said as Councilor Vivian did just that activating the spell, "Hot Cha! Uncle has reception."
"Let's hope this actually works," said Cyndi as the circle showed the Monkey Talisman.
"There's the Monkey Talisman," Jackie said.
"It's power," said Uncle, "Mira destroyed the Talismans themselves."
"Okay so where are we going? Spain, Mexico, Borneo?" Camille asked as the image showed the Hawaiian Islands.
"Try Hawaii," said Vivian who managed to talk and balance at the same time.
"Better grab some bananas and have me hold the locator spell," said Cyndi, "We do not want to startle the noble Monkey."
"Tohru stay and watch the shop," said Uncle as he took the Bananas that Vivian was holding.
"While you're all doing that I'll return to the Dragon Council and let them know what's going on," Vivian said as she returned to the Dragon Council.
Meanwhile in Arcanon's Airship Daolon Wong was currently discussing with Arcanon about the bug he had placed in Uncle's Rare Finds.
"Are you sure the device you placed in the Chi Wizard's shop is working?" asked Daolon Wong.
"Of course and I made sure that it was disguised as a literal bug," Lord Arcanon said as the Enforcers were testing out the upgrades to Arcanon's muscle gear, "Besides I have plenty of robotic insects some of which are very valuable like this mosquito. It can go in and get a blood sample of anything it comes into contact with and using this I can analyze the DNA of that blood sample."
"Okay but why are you involving the Huntsclan in this?" asked Daolon.
"Because if I can figure out who the Elemental Dragon Girl is in Human form we might be able to subdue her," Arcanon responded, "But for now I'll have the battleship take us to Hawaii. The power of Shapeshifting is located there. One of my contacts in the area is waiting for us. All we have to do is let them do the grunt work and I've sent in the Shadowkhan to tail them and attack if need be."
Daolon approved of the plan knowing that Lord Arcanon's strategies were effective and he was the reason that he had the power of Healing so far.
In Hawaii the Chans and company were looking for the monkey while Cyndi was holding the banana.
"Camille are you sure your aunt knew what she was doing when she created the locator spell?" asked Jackie, "Monkeys are not native to the Hawaiian Islands."
"And if the noble monkey has figured out how to tap into the power of it's ancestor how will we still be able to find it?" Jade asked.
"Should be simple enough," Cyndi said, "I could just ask. Remember I have the power of Doctor Doolittle."
"To find the monkey in any shape or form you must feel the power within the peel," Uncle spoke and right on cue Cyndi felt the power in the banana as she was being dragged by it. Fortunately she had the sense to bring a skateboard as the banana was pulling her along with the rest of the gang following.
Meanwhile outside a hotel a Japanese man was standing when a glowing green banana held by Jackie was pointed right at him.
"Hello." Jackie said sheepishly as the rest of the gang minus Uncle showed up.
"Status report?" Jade asked.
"I do not think he is a monkey." Jackie said.
"I am ambassador Shinizu of Japan, member of the Shiba clan and cousin of William Shiba," the Ambassador said before a monkey emerged and sat on his shoulder, "This is a monkey."
The monkey then took the banana and ate it.
"Cute," Jade cooed.
"Thank the nice man for the banana, Haiku." said the ambassador to the Monkey known as Haiku who burped.
"Please tell me the monkey did not just eat our locator spell," Camille spoke shocked.
"The monkey just ate it," Carol squeaked.
"Locator spell?" Shinizu spoke, "That would mean you are relatives of Chi Wizard Chan who took on the Demon Sorcerers."
"How do you know about that?" Jackie asked shocked.
"My cousin and I keep in touch about all that has happened in the magical and non magical community," said Shinizu "And I can only guess that you're here for Haiku."
"That is correct," said Cyndi, "The Forces of Darkness want your pet and we must move him to a less vulnerable location until we know it is safe to return him."
As the ambassador was about to speak Uncle arrived and saw the Banana peel.
"AIYAH! Who ate my locator spell!?" Uncle yelled.
"The monkey did." said Cyndi
As if to drive the point home Haiku then turned into a pigeon using the power of shapeshifting before flying away.
"Oh." Uncle said.
"Time to go," said Carol as the group chased after Haiku who was now a pigeon.
They found Haiku among other pigeon on a rooftop.
"How will we know which is Haiku?" Jackie asked.
"Duh," Jade spoke.
A minute later Cyndi was walking to the birds with a banana letting them know he was no threat to them.
"Are you sure this will work?" Jackie asked.
As if fate heard him one of the pigeons then went for the banana as it changed back into Haiku and rested upon Cyndi's shoulder.
"Never doubt Cyndi," said Carol as Haiku and Cyndi were chatting away like the best of friends.
"Alright everyone good news," Cyndi said with Haiku on her shoulder, "Haiku has agreed to come with us since I convinced him that we are not the real threat."
"That was easy," said Jackie. "For once we didn't get attacked by the forces of darkness."
As if on cue Shadowkhan Ninjas appeared and Lord Arcanon's battleship appeared above them.
"You were saying Jackie?" Carol said as the group got ready to fight.
"Attack!" Arcanon's voice rang out as the Shadowkhan began to attack.
The team fought back using their skills as the Shadowkhan were numerous.
"Dang it Arcanon has to attack now of all times," Camille grumbled knowing that she couldn't transform without risk of revealing her secret identity as the Elemental Dragon Girl.
Daolon Wong and Arcanon were watching the battle unfold knowing that they had this won when a fireball appeared out of nowhere and blasted the Shadowkhan away.
"Who did that?!" Snapped Arcanon.
"That would be me!" said a voice which turned out to the be the current Dragon of Asia and her scales were red with orange flame patterns on her limbs.
"Get the Dragon!" Arcanon commanded the Shadowkhan as they attacked Vivian but Vivian dodged kicked punched and attacked the Shadowkhan before finishing the group off with a fiery blast which caused a massive explosion.
When the smoke cleared Haiku and the heroes were nowhere to be seen causing the enemy to growl in frustration.
With the Chan Family and company they found that they were back at Uncle's shop and Tohru was waiting for them.
"Councilor Vivian," said Tohru, "I did not expect to see you and sensei back here so soon."
"Well I was checking on my niece to tell her that I found something important when I was in the Hawaiian Islands," said Vivian, "However the presence of Arcanon's battleship meant I had to help the others stop him. Fortunately, I was able to intervene by then otherwise the situation would've gotten worse."
"We thank you for your help aunt Vivian," Camille said, "Now that we've got Haiku safe that means we have five powers to Daolon Wong's one power but what were you doing in Hawaii in the first place?"
"Well I was going to tell you that I found one of the Aztec Skulls in Hawaii and that I already dug it out and was preparing to give it to you lot to take to Section 13 for safe keeping," Vivian said presenting said skull.
"In that case we must get the skull there at once," said Uncle as the group headed to do that unaware of how the effect of that decision would have in the future to come.
