When Pigs Fly
In Malaysia the sound of a Rooster's crowing could be heard in the early dawn near one of Long Enterprises Buildings. Eggbert the Rooster was doing the crowing as Camille in Dragon Form was flying to him holding a golden cage with Cyndi on her back, "Hello, Eggbert. Please step into this nice cozy cage so that we may keep you safe from the forces of darkness," Eggbert instead levitated away, "No! No! No!" Camille then flew after the bird but Cyndi spoke up.
"Perhaps I can reason with Eggbert and convince him we're not the threat." she suggested.
"That would be most helpful." Camille answered as she chased after Eggbert and this time managed to catch up to him in midair as Cyndi spoke.
"Hello, Mr. Eggbert, we mean you no harm. We just wish to protect you from the dark forces that have come to steal your magic. Now please step into the cage so that we may take you to safety. It's only temporary until we get to a less vulnerable location," the Veterinarian in training spoke.
Eggbert taking Cyndi's words to heart flew into the magic proof cage, "Well that was easy," Jade said as she, Jackie, and Vivian the Dragon of Asia were watching from the rooftop, "And to think Johnathan Long pointed us out to the location of the building in question due to his company owning it."
"Let's just go and soon," Vivian said, "I get the feeling that the Forces of Darkness are near."
"Vivian you worry to much," said Jackie, "I doubt the Forces of Darkness are going to come anywhere near this building considering you're present."
As if on cue Shadowkhan Ninjas appeared and Arcanon's battleship was hovering in the distance.
"You were saying?" Vivian asked.
"Time to go," Jackie said as he and Jade hopped on Vivian's back as the Dragon of Asia took flight and torched the Shadowkhan while avoiding the missiles from Arcanon's battleship.
"Hang on this could get rough," Vivian warned Jackie as she did some barrel rolls to avoid and evade the attacks before firing back with her flames.
Vivian was busy protecting Jackie that she didn't notice another missile firing at her but it was blasted by lightning breath and right on cue Camille flew in with Jade and Cyndi riding on her back.
"Jade you were supposed to stay with your probation officer and you both were to stay where it was safe," Jackie said.
"And risk Arcanon shooting you guys down?" Camille retorted, "Are you nuts?"
Right on cue Jackie's cell phone rang as he answered it.
"Hello?" Jackie asked.
"Jackie do you have the Noble Rooster?" Uncle asked.
"We do Uncle," said Jackie, "We're heading back to base as we speak."
"Vivian has left us the ingredients for the location of the Noble Pig," said Uncle over the phone, "Meet us there at once."
"I'll have the Magical Elevator take us to the location of the Pig," Vivian said.
"Cool so where are we going this time?" Jade asked, "Paris? Moscow, Tahiti? Berlin?"
"Jade the Pig is likely going to be found on a farm so I'm gonna say that it's in Honolulu," Camille said.
Soon enough the team took a Magical Elevator and found themselves in Arlene Kansas.
"Okay I did not expect this," Camille spoke as they arrived in Arlene. "Well at least we're in the right place."
"I'm so gonna enjoy this," Cyndi said, "So where are Uncle and Tohru?"
As if on cue Uncle and Tohru showed up from a store with the cage for the Noble Pig.
"Jackie where were you?" Uncle asked.
"We just came back from Malaysia," Jackie said.
"Yeah give us a break," said Camille. "Besides we may as well let Eggbert stretch his legs."
"Not a good idea," Jackie spoke, "The Noble Rooster must stay in the cage until we are safely back in Section 13. And we cannot have you or Vivian appear in dragon formation yet."
"Jackie what if the forces of darkness attack?" asked Jade, "We'll need their help."
"Jade's right and I gotta go give my report to the Dragon Council," said Vivian, "America is not my territory, Asia is and Jake just got back from another mission. Hopefully we won't need him but just incase I made arrangements."
"We can handle this on our own," said Camille, "Uncle did you bring the locator spell?"
"We may not even need it," Jade said.
"What makes you think so?" Cyndi asked.
Jade motioned to a poster of a blue-ribbon prize-winning pig named Mordecai, "If that doesn't scream noble I don't know what does."
"That sounds like a promising lead but just to be safe I have the seeking device to guide us," said Camille as the device was leading them to a farm.
When the group got to the farm they found it was owned by Farmer MacDonald and the seeking device led them to the Pig in the pen.
"The Seeking Device just confirmed what Jade suspected all along," said Vivian.
"Which means we need to handle this delicately," said Jackie.
"Why don't we just ask if the owners believe in magic?" asked Cyndi as she was currently holding Egbert.
"Because most people don't believe in magic," Tohru said as he had the cage for Mordecai, "We don't mention magic unless we have to."
"But you do know that we may have to demonstrate Egbert's powers," said Cyndi as they arrived at the farm.
The Farmer and his two sons E.B. and Buford were present as the group introduced themselves before the Farmer spoke.
"So what's a bunch of city people want with my boar anyway?" Farmer MacDonald asked.
"First I have a question," said Camille, "Do you believe in magic?"
"Camille," Jackie yelled wondering how the farmer would react.
"Magic huh well gosh darn it of course I believe in magic," said Farmer MacDonald.
"Then that makes what we have to tell you easier," said Vivian, "Your pig and the rooster we have with us have magical powers and dark forces are on their way to claim them as we speak."
"Magical powers huh?" E.B. MacDonald asked. "Let's see some proof."
"Very well," Cyndi said opening Egbert's cage, "Okay Egbert do your thing."
Egbert levitated by activating his power and landed atop Mordecai the pig and they promptly took flight around the barn.
"I thought Gallus domesticus was a flightless bird," Buford MacDonald said confused at Egbert flying about.
"That was the power of levitation which Egbert now has within him," said Vivian. "Of course, if you don't want to part with Mordecai then I suppose I could transfer their powers to a safer vessel."
"Aunt Vivian I'm afraid we don't have time for that," Camille said pointing to the Shadowkhan suddenly appearing around them.
"Are these the dark forces y'all were telling me and my boys about?" Farmer MacDonald asked.
"Yep which means that Daolon Wong is present," Cyndi said and as if on cue Daolon Wong and Arcanon showed up as the Airship was hovering above town.
"Hand over the beasts or we'll take them from you by force," Daolon demanded.
"You get your dark magical butts off my property now," Farmer MacDonald ordered holding a pitch fork.
Daolon simply blasted it with his scepter.
"Magic must defeat magical butt," Uncle stated as he and Daolon did battle.
"Shadowkhan attack!" Arcanon said as the Shadowkhan began to attack the heroes.
Camille and Vivian couldn't transform without revealing their secret so they had to fight hand to hand and with chi magic while everyone else did what they could to fend off the Shadowkhan.
"This is getting annoying," Arcanon said, "Zhen get down here!"
Zhen promptly appeared and took on Tohru and the others forcing them to avoid and evade.
Mordecai and Egbert took action as the rooster sat upon the pig and they began to fight back by using their powers in tandem with each other to fend off the Shadowkhan ninjas thus tipping the battle in favor of the heroes.
"Now I wish we brought Yaka along," Cyndi said dodging more ninjas. "These ninjas are worse than fleas and lice."
"Jackie said it was too risky to bring any of the other noble animals along," said Camille, "And for once I agree with him on this."
Uncle and Daolon were still in the middle of their battle before Arcanon tipped the battle in Daolon's favor and blasted Uncle burying him and Tohru up to their necks in the ground.
"And now for the main event," Arcanon said as he began to take on Vivian himself while the Shadowkhan continued to swarm and overwhelm the heroes.
"You won't get away with this," Vivian snapped as she fought back.
"Have you learned nothing," Daolon Wong spoke after burying the rest of the heroes up to their necks in the ground "We are getting away with it."
At that point Arcanon managed to trap Camille in the magic proof cage meant for Mordecai allowing Daolon Wong to perform the extraction spell and absorb the powers of Levitation, Heat Beam, Eyes and Combustion into himself prompting him to laugh evilly as he now had four talisman powers.
"Let us go you power hogs!" snapped Camille.
"No but with the power of the Dragon and the Hog I shall reduce you all to ashes!" Daolon said preparing to finish the heroes.
"Any last words before we end this?" Arcanon taunted preparing to fire.
"Yeah this ends now!" said a voice which turned out to be the American Dragon, his Sister, his Grandfather and the Korean Dragon all in dragon formation.
"Daolon we have what we came for," Arcanon said, "Time to go."
Daolon vanished on that note as the ship beamed up Arcanon before the ship left and sailed off into the horizon.
Later on after everyone had been dug out the team were discussing what to do with Egbert now that Daolon Wong had stolen his power, Mordecai's power and Camille's rightful power.
"Y'all sure about this?" Farmer MacDonald asked.
"Absolutely," Jackie said, "After trying to borrow your pig."
"And nearly damaging your property," Jade continued.
"The least we can do is let you have a former levitating rooster," finished Camille.
"Besides Pa," said E.B, "They're demonstrating a psychological bond."
"Yep they're buddies," Buford replied as Egbert was sitting atop Mordecai.
"Jackie it's time to go," Uncle spoke as the group headed off.
Later on at Section 13 Camille decided to ask Vivian a question.
"So how did the American Dragon and his team get here so fast?" asked Camille.
"Vivian called us in," said Haley, "She had a feeling that we'd be needed."
"So she asked us to be on standby just to be on the safe side," Jake spoke. "I'm just sorry we didn't get here soon enough. Then again the Oracle Twins were right."
"Wait what did they tell you?" asked Uncle.
"They said that we'd find out that Camille would meet new friends and allies," Lao Shi explained, "But Camille would lose something valuable in the process."
"Yep and I have a feeling that we'll be seeing Mordecai and Egbert in the future," said Camille, "But I'm just sorry that we lost the power of Combustion. Now Daolon Wong's got four Talisman Powers."
"Camille and I should've been in dragon formation earlier but we had no choice but to stay in human form," Vivian said, "Hopefully the other councilors will understand once we give our report to them about the Noble Animal hunt as of late."
"They'll be expecting us to give a report now," Sun Park added.
"And besides we still have five powers and you've got the locator spells ready for the remaining three," said Jade, "So at least it's not a total loss. And if need be we can transfer one of the other powers into Camille to power up her elemental attacks."
The group smiled knowing that while they lost this battle the war was far from over.
In Arcanon's battleship Daolon Wong and Arcanon were reviewing the clip of the previous battle.
"See Daolon?" Arcanon asked, "I told you with proper planning we'd get at least two powers."
"Indeed, but we now know who the Elemental Dragon Girl in human form is," Daolon responded, "Which means that the Huntsclan could be of great use to us in the future."
"That's right," said Arcanon, "By keeping the Dragon Council off our backs. But for now, let's head south of the border for the next power."
The battleship headed to Mexico knowing that the power of the Rat would be down there.
