STARK

Tony Stark stared at the green Iron Man suit and nursed his aching head. "I don't remember making this one. Well, better take it, I'm late as it is."

Tony stepped inside the suit. As it closed, the display brought up a line of kanji.

"Is that Japanese?" Stark asked. "How drunk was I last night?"

Tony Stark flicked his wrists. He tried flinging his arms, waving them around, but nothing happened.

"How do I work this thing? Thruster systems online! Engage throttle! Go go gadget thrusters?"

He gave his arms one last irritated flick. A lightsaber popped out of the forearm and landed in his fingers.

Tony Stark laughed and waved the green blade around. "Oh man, I'm so glad Disney bought us out."

At that moment, Pepper Potts stepped into Tony's lab. "What are you doing? The Avengers meeting was ten minutes ago, and - where did you get that?"

"This?" Tony Stark posed with the lightsaber. "Check it out, I'm a mecha-Jedi."

"Tony, you know the Marvel - Star Wars crossover isn't scheduled for another fifteen years!"

"Relax, it's just an Easter egg. You know we're all about those. We can just pretend it's an extended arc reactor or something before dropping the big reveal."

"Fine, whatever, but what is that suit? And why is it green?"

"No idea. Found it when I woke up."

"You found - you put on a random suit left in your lab?"

"Pepper, it's fine. Just had a bit too much to drink last night."

Pepper whacked him over the head with her clipboard. "No, it's not fine. Putting on strange tech you found lying around is how Ultron happens. Now get out of that suit before something happens."

The suit's eyes lit up, and its arms stretched in a yawn of their own accord. Izuku felt around his body, and said, "たまたま食べてしまったようです。謝罪いたします。"

Pepper blinked. "Tony, was that Japanese?"

"What? No, that was Chinese. Gotta pander to that overseas market, right?"

Pepper gave him a very unimpressed look. "I speak Chinese. That wasn't Chinese."

"Must've used the wrong translator then. Even a genius like myself makes a mistake every now and then."

"英語の検出。言語設定の変更。" Izuku cleared his throat and said in a thick accent, "Very nice to a-meet you. Can you prease get out of my body, it is very uncofotable."

"Tony…"

"Yep, got it, getting out now."

The suit opened, and Stark leapt out. Izuku morphed back into his standard configuration, much to Stark's dismay.

"Please tell me I wasn't just inside of a-"

"Nope!" Pepper shouted. "Don't even say it. The last thing we need is another lawsuit."

Tony Stark quietly asked, "Can I at least keep the lightsaber?"

Pepper whacked him with her clipboard. Since Tony wasn't wearing a metal suit this time, the blow knocked him out. As she dragged him away, Izuku asked one of Tony's suits, "Are you Iron Man? I'm supposed to intern with him."

DC got one. Only felt fair to give Marvel a go.

Also, I'll be in Colorado next week, so the next Deku Ex Machina chapter will be a week and a half from now. Izuku & Mei's excellent adventure will be updating Sunday the 28th, in which Izuku breaks the speed limit, the barrier between worlds, and the Geneva Convention!
