Lien-Da grabbed his windpipe and brought his eyes to her. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't neuter you right now?" Her voice ice cold. There was a reason why she was called the ice queen of Angel Island.
"NOT MY KINTAMA!" Brad cried out.
Lien-Da's eyes then caught something out the window. She saw Kick and three people she didn't recognize. "Is that Kick?" She then lets go of Brad, who was gasping for air and he also looked out the window and his eyes widened as he saw something he couldn't believe.
'Kick is with...Two hot women...' Brad brain's had to process that fact.
Lien-Da's pupils shrank once again when he saw a Chaos Emerald and Kick's hand and to her surprise, they teleported.
"I don't believe it..."
"I know...HOW COME KICK HAS TWO BEAUTIFUL BOMBSHELLS WITH HIM?! I KNOW ITS NOT THAT REINALDORK CAUSE HE'S A NERD!"
"Why does your brother have a Chaos Emerald?!" Lien-Da yelled at Brad.
"Huh? What the hell is a Chaos Emerald?"
Lien-Da froze. 'Shit! He's not suppose to know that! Think fast Lien-Da!'
Lien-Da smiled. "Where I'm from, a Chaos Emerald is such a unique jewel in France that if you keep it, it's a sign of...Finding true love?"
She stared at Brad for a minute. "...Of course! It makes sense now! A Chaos Emerald is a love charm that brings women to you! That's why Dilweed has two pretty women over him!"
Lien-Da sweat drops. 'It's a good thing he's an idiot.'
"Right...We need to find him! The problem is we don't know where he gone."
"The mall." Both turn to Brianna.
"Kick said that he was taking his friends to the mall."
'Why would the boy use such a powerful artifact to teleport somewhere so...trivial?'
"Thanks...Wait a minute, were you eavesdropping on us?"
Brianna had a smug grin. "I wasn't the one who was touching Lindesy's underwear."
"LEAVE!" Brad yelled.
The little sister shrugged and left.
"So we know where Kick is! Let's head to the mall!"
"...I mean, do we have to?" Brad questioned. Lindsey turned to him with a smile, but that smile scared Brad.
"You will take me to the mall to find your brother and I'll forget what you did in here or..."
"Or?"
A dark aura appeared around Lindsey. "...You lose what makes you a man...Your choice."
Brad immediately runs out of her room.
The aura disappeared. "Still got it." She smirked.
"MOM, DAD, I'M TAKING LINDSEY TO THE MALL! I'LL BE BACK!" Brad rushed out of the house.
Lien-Da walked downstairs. She wore a dark blue long sleeved shirt with a zipper and wore matching pants.
"See ya."
The parents saw Brad and Lindsey walking into a blue car.
"Is Brad driving Monique?!" Harold panicked.
"Relax hon, Brad got his driver's license, they'll be fine." His wife assured.
"I'm not concerned for them, I'm worried for Monique!"
"Brad is more responsible driver now."
They then saw Brad driving into reverse really fast, leaving skid marks. He turned and drove really fast.
Betty turned and saw her husband biting his fingernails. She rolled her eyes.
Rouge and Bonnie were sitting on a chair in the mall.
"Tell me the truth." Rouge turned to Bonnie.
"Did ya and Kick...Do anything naughty?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Yes." Bonnie face turned bright red.
"I...Wh...Ho...WHY?!"
"Because..." Bonnie leaned closer.
"I felt like it." She smirked
"YA FELT LIKE IT?!" She exclaimed.
"I'm a woman, shouldn't I do what feels right?"
"Rouge! He is 14!"
"...So?"
"...WHAT DO YA MEAN SO?! YOU HAD SEX WITH A MINOR!"
"Kick is different."
"What do ya mean?"
"I can think of plenty of bastards that wouldn't give a damn to help someone like me, and even if they did, it would be just for my body to use for fun...Kick though, he didn't care about any of that when were on Angel Island. Even though I did use him to steal some valuable things from those Echidnas."
"Wait...If ya have that already?...THEN WHY ARE YA MAKING ME PAY FOR RENT?!" Bonnie roared out with a tick mark on her face.
"...The point I'm trying to make is that Kick is very special to me, and I don't mean that because he is well hung...Okay it's a major part of that. But I also see him as someone I want to have around me. So I don't give a damn about those labels they might call us, as long as we make each other happy."
Bonnie calmed down after hearing that. "If it makes Kick happy, then I don't mind. Besides, who am I to stand against true love. At least ya found someone to love."
"Don't worry Bon, you'll find yours soon."
"Aw shucks! That's real nice of ya to say."
"And that person will be Kick."
"Yes I will fall in love with-"
She did a double take. "KICK?!"
Rouge nods. "Don't deny it, you want Kick's carrot in you."
Bonnie blushed as she turned to the opposite direction of Rouge. "T-T-That's not true!"
Rouge had a sly grin. "Really? Then how come last night when you were sleeping, you had a carrot shoved in your-"
"THAT NEVER HAPPENED!" Bonnie argued.
Rouge chuckled a little. "Don't worry, I'll be willing to share." She winked.
Bonnie couldn't handle the conversation anymore and left to find a store to get away from Rouge.
With Kick...
The Daredevil walked casually as he looked around the mall.
"I wonder what to do here? Maybe I could try-"
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!"
Kick turned his head to the commotion and saw an angry employee holding a 16 year old teen. The thing about her was that she looked human except for her fox features. But Kick saw how pretty she looked. Especially since her outfit showed off her boobs and ass. For some reason, Kick couldn't stop staring at her.
"You have to pay for the food you've eaten missy!"
"Look! I was going to pay, I just need to go home and get my wallet."
"Nice try. Do you think I was born yesterday? Either pay up or I'm calling security."
A part of Kick wanted to leave this matter, but a bigger part of him wanted to help the teen, feeling it was the right thing to do.
Kick walked up to the two. "Sis! There you are! I was looking for you everywhere!" Both turn to Kick.
"This is your sister?" The employee asked.
"Hmm let's see, we both have blue eyes, wear cool clothing, and look like animals, I think that answers your question sir. Now please tell me why you're grabbing my sister's tail?" Kick asked him.
"Well...Your sister stole some burgers and ate them. She needs to pay for them or I'll call the authorities."
"Sis...You've got to stop doing that! I understand you're hungry all the time, but Mom warned you about this." He turned to the employee. "I'm so sorry for her, I'll pay for whatever she's eaten."
Fiona looked at her savior with confusion. 'Why the hell is this boy trying to help me?' She thought.
"That's nice kid, but there's no way that you have enough money too-"
"Here's a $100." Kick flashed a Benjamin in his face as his pupils turned into dollar signs.
"...You know what, I think I'll let this slide, and you two can order anything you want, on the house!" The employee lets go of her tail and runs while yelling happily.
Fiona turned to Kick. "Why did you do it?"
"Huh?"
She turned around to make sure no one was hearing them. "Why did you lie to that man about us being siblings?" She questioned.
Kick crossed his arms. "Wow. That's fun way of saying, 'Thank you Kick Buttowski for saving me from the slammers!'" Fiona's eyes widen.
"...Wait a minute, did you say Kick Buttowski?"
Kick smirked. "That's right. Kick Buttowski, rising Daredevil!"
A memory played in her head.
'You're saying that if I work hard enough, then I can achieve my dreams!'
'Yeah!...I plan to work hard in order to become a kick butt Daredevil that everyone will remember...Kick Buttowski!"
'Then I'll do whatever it takes to become free...Yes! I want to be a girl who is free from my family!'
'I don't know what's that all about, but I believe in you Fiona!'
'Thank you Kick Buttowski, I can definitely say you're the first person that I can call a friend.'
Fiona without warning hugged Kick.
"Why did..."
"Do you remember me?" She stopped hugging
Kick stared at her for a moment and that's when something sparked in his brain.
"Fiona?"
Fiona's smile was big.
"I'm glad you remember me Kick. You were my first friend.
More thoughts appeared in her mind.
'We don't need a useless daughter to have around!'
'Why would anyone want to help a loser like you!?'
'From now on, you'll pledge your entire loyalty to me!'
GROWL
She was removed by her thoughts as her stomach growled. Fiona then blushed. Kick grinned.
"Looks like someone's hungry?"
"S-Shut up and help me to some food."
Kick and Fiona were sitting at a table together as they were eating many meals such as burgers, fries, and drank some soda.
"Oh god! I've have never ate like this in a while!" Fiona cried out in joy.
"You know...It's actually nice to see you again after 12 years."
"Hehe...I was 4 and you were 2 at the time." He eyed Fiona
"I still can't believe that you're the same girl I met a long time ago." Kick didn't want to say it, but Fiona's attire looked sexy.
"Oh god! I've have never ate like this in a while!" Fiona cried out in joy.
"Why? Is your family forcing on some strict diet or something.
Fiona swallowed her food as she had a dark look on her face. Kick noticed this.
"Is...Something wrong?" He asked her.
"My family..." Her hands were shaking.
"Buttowski? Is that you?"
Both turned to a boy wearing an orange polo.
"Oh man, it is you! I almost didn't recognize you."
Kick sighed. "What do you want Mouth?"
"Oh, is he your friend?" Fiona asked Kick.
"More like acquaintances." Kick told Fiona. Mouth just smirked.
"He's right. But enough about me. I have to say, I dig the new look, although the hedgehog look is kinda strange, but it's still better than that horrible jumpsuit you wore."
Kick forces a smile as he was resisting the urge to beat Mouth's ass for that insult. "Thanks..."
"But more importantly..." He eyed Fiona.
"You have a girlfriend."
"WHAT?!" Kick and Fiona exclaimed while they both turned red.
"Let's get this straight Mouth! Fiona and I are not boyfriend and girlfriend!"
Mouth just shook his head in denial. "That's a lie."
"Why do you think I'm lying?"
"Well one, you're a horrible liar-" "AM NOT!" "And two, a hot girl is talking to you. I don't know the last time you spoke to girls as you mostly hang with Gunther. Not to mention that you two are here, sitting in front of each other, and eating food together." Mouth had a sly grin.
'We just met each other today! Even though he looks charming, somewhat cute...' Thought Fiona.
"Look Mouth, I get that you like to spread rumors and gossip about shit, but I'm telling you that me and Fiona are not dating!"
Mouth just nods. "Okay, I understand. I'll just leave." And Mouth walks away from them.
Kick sighed in relief. "Finally!"
"That Mouth guy is so annoying."
"Yeah...But at the end of the day, he isn't so bad." They heard a flash and turned to find a grinning Mouth holding a phone.
"I'm definitely sending this to Instagram!#New Couple!"
Kick had a visible tick mark. "MOUTH!" The polo wearing boy ran away while snarking.
The Daredevil rubbed his hair in frustration. "Fucking awesome! So now people are going to think we are an actual couple!"
Fiona gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm sure it can't be that bad."
Meanwhile at home...
Brianna got a notification on her phone. "Huh, something new on Instagram!" She logged onto the app and she was surprised by what she saw. Her brother had a girlfriend! A foxy girlfriend but a girlfriend non of the less.
"I can't believe it...Kick has a girlfriend!...Oh I'm so going to embarrass him!" Brianna smiled.
Back with Kick...
"Yeah, maybe you're right Fiona. So what happened? How come I didn't see you for a long time"
'I don't want to tell him about my past...Especially my many years of hell with that man...'
"You see, we moved out of Mellowbrook, but then we moved back just recently!"
"Then where's your family? If they were here, then you should had no problem paying for those burgers you ate. Not to mention that you tensed when I mentioned your family." Kick may not be the smartest kid in Mellowbrook, but even he could see some red flags around Fiona.
Fiona's smile turned into a scowl. "Why the hell are you so interested in my personal life?! You weren't before!" She yelled at him.
"It just seems th-" She got up and slammed the table with her fist.
"I'm fine! That's how its always for me! I'm a loner! No one ever gives a damn about me! Which is why I was in that hell for so long!" Her eyes were shadowed and Kick was taken aback by this.
Some tears could be seen falling from her face. "...I'm, sorry. Even though you helped me without hesitation, I just can't stand the thought of being hurt by people again...It was nice meeting you again Kick Buttowski, but I think it would be better if we never saw each other after this." She turned around and walked away slowly.
Kick didn't know what to say after hearing her words.
"AHHHH!"
"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"
"ROBO DOG ON THE LOSE!" Kick and Fiona saw many people running in pure terror from something. They felt the ground shaking as the thing was running to them. It was large, black and red dog-like robot with a head antenna. Kick was astonished by the sight of the robodog, while Fiona whole body trembled with fear.
"N-N-No...That's Robotnik Cerberus...Which means the doctor was using it to track me down."
"FIONA! GET OUT OF THE WAY!" By the time Kick warned her, it was too late. Time slowed down for them as the dog chomped on her tail and dragged Fiona, dashing off.
Kick couldn't believe what happened. The 16 year old beauty was taken by a robotic mutt!
'I guess my freedom was just a pipe dream after all.' Fiona's eyes were closed while her tear drops ran across the air.
"Buttowski!" Kick turned to find a sweating Reinaldo, gasping for breath.
"Reinaldo!"
"...Robotnik has his robots in here!" Reinaldo told him.
"I know, a robotic dog took off with Fiona, I got to save her!...What do you mean robots?"
To answer his question, a stray laser beam shot between the two. The sound of jet fuel could be heard. Reinaldo ran behind Kick. The Daredevil looked up to his aggressors. Their middle torso is red with yellow downward-pointing triangles on the front while their lower torso is black with two silver buttons on the front, their gray head area is clean with two small red eyes and a flat jaw fastened by yellow bolts. On their back they have two yellow and gray rockets for flight. They also have thin robotic arms and legs with round shoulders, white gloves and black shoes with white straps.
One of them analyzed Kick and Reinaldo.
The green hair one is recognizable. Clarence Buttowski, he is the one who sabotaged Bonnie Rabbot's Roboticization and destroyed the previous Roboticization location. And this blonde hair boy's name is Reinaldo Hawkings, 14. It seems he and Clarence are allies. Objective: Return Fiona to Robotnik and Roboticze Clarence Buttowski and Reinaldo Hawkings.
The Eggrobos locked their pistols at the two.
Kick mind was in overdrive at this situation. 'What do I do?...Those robots want us taken down..." Kick then thought of Fiona. 'Fiona...I don't know why...But I feel the need to save her!' Kick's eyes were filled with determination.
"Reinaldo!"
"Yeah?"
"I'm going to save Fiona from that robomutt! You do whatever it takes to destroy these nuisances!" Kick told him.
"Wait your leaving me alone!? But that's a horrible-"
Kick then ran to stop the Egg-Cerberus.
Reinaldo was stunned by this. "That motherfu-"
He was interrupted when he had to dodge a laser beam.
'There's only one thing to do in this situation...'
Reinaldo ran the opposite direction flailing his arms. "RUUUUNNNNNNNN!"
The Eggrobos followed Reinaldo.
Outside the Mall
Brad and Lindsey finally made their way to the mall.
"Were here!" Brad exclaimed. As he parked the car.
"Great. Now I can find your brother." Lindsey said.
"And I'll come with you!" Brad said.
"No you will not." Lindsey ordered him.
"What?! But I want to get that Chaos Emerald from Dilweed so I can have my own har-I mean give it back to you!" Brad argued.
Lindsey unbuckled his seatbelt. "Listen to me Brad Buttowski. This Chaos Emerald is very important. So I can't have any setbacks. So stay in this car and don't come out until I tell you to!" Lindsey told Brad.
"...Okay." "Good." Lindsey said as she exits the car. "And Brad...If I see you inside the mall..." She gave him a dark smile. "You know the consequences right?" Brad gulps nervously as he nods.
Lindsey then ran to the mall. On the way, she saw many people fleeing from the mall.
'I didn't think humans hated the mall that badly.' Thought Lien-Da.
Reinaldo was screaming his pants off as he kept being gunned by the Eggrobos. To the boy's luck, all those shots were missing him.
'If I survive, given the grim possibility that I won't, I'll find Buttowski and beat him up until he is black and blue...But I would need to work out first.'
Reinaldo then tripped on something and fell face first. He slowly lifts his head as his glasses cracked. He turned around and saw that one of the Eggrobos has locked onto him.
"Holy crap...So this how I die...A virgin!" Reinaldo closed his eyes, waiting for the end.
BOOM
One of the Eggbros fell into pieces.
"Ya need a hand?" Reinaldo opened his eyes and turned around to find Bonnie and Rouge. Bonnie's arm turned into a blaster. Reinaldo crawled to them as he cried anime tears.
"OH THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU SAVED ME LIFE!"
"Less bailing, more fighting!" Bonnie told him as she helped him up.
Rouge smirked as she walked in front of them. "Time for some action."
One of the Eggrobos scanned Bonnie and Rouge. Bonnie Rabbot. She is the one that escaped Roboticzation. And Rouge...This is a surprise, she is a-
A spherical bomb with pink hearts designed on it was thrown at Eggrobo. It detonated the moment it made contact with the badnik. A small explosion took out some of the Eggrobos.
Bonnie and Reinaldo was taken aback by this. In Rouge's hands were two more bombs.
"Ya carry bombs on ya?!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"You never know when you'rw going to need them, like now!" Rouge yelled out as she threw two more bombs at the Badniks, causing them to be destroyed. Animals then appeared on the ground.
This is bad. We are losing more organisms. Circle formation.
The Eggrobos then circled around the three and aimed.
"This is bad ya'll! We're surrounded!" Bonnie panicked. She had face these Badniks before, but not flying Badniks. Not to mention that they have pistols.
Reinaldo's brain was working into overdrive.
'From this angle, were basically sitting ducks…We'll be shot…Unless…'
A smirk formed on her face.
"Bonnie, Rouge! I have a plan! Just listen to what I say and do it!"
The women just nod.
"Bonnie, 12:00!" The rabbit woman jumped high to avoid the beam and shot a laser to the Eggbro.
"Rouge, 3 and 9!" The bat woman did a back somersault to avoid two beams as she threw two bombs, that destroyed a few Badniks.
"Nice work Reinaldo!"
"Yeah, not bad." The women complimented him.
'I wish they were Kendall right now…' Reinaldo thought about his ex girlfriend.
"Rouge! 10 and 2!"
"Bonnie! 1 and 7!"
"Rouge 9:00!"
"Bonnie 11:00!"
More and more Badniks were being destroyed.
This is not working for us. Our best chances is to take down Reinaldo Hawkings.
All the Eggrobos aimed their pistols to Reinaldo, who's face lost some color.
Meanwhile with Kick...
The Daredevil was running at top notch speed to try and catch the Egg-Cerberus. Which proved to be a difficult task as the giant robot dog was surprisingly fast. To make matters worse, a bunch of Eggrobos were near the dog for protection.
We must secure Fiona to the doctor at once. As for Clarence Buttowski, we must make sure he doesn't stop us.
The Eggrobos clocked their pistols and shot a Kick, the Daredevil easily dodged those beams as he was too fast for them.
"Nuisances." Kick said as he turned into a ball and homed one of the Badniks, destroying it. He then homes more Badniks as he smashes through them one by one. Because of the momentum, Kick was able to land on the Cerberus's tail which to his surprise was a grind rail.
"Whoa! This shit is amazing!" Kick said as he was grinding on the dog as his new shoes built up grinds up on the dog's tail and upper back and to the antenna on its head!
Kick's instincts were telling him to grab the antenna on its head and so he did. Causing the dog to halt in place, and in doing so, it released its grip on Fiona's tail. She rolls to the floor.
"Ow..." Fiona opened her eyes and her pupils shrank as she saw the boy he met before was gripping the Egg-Cerberus's antenna. The dog however didn't like that so it desperately tried to remove the Daredevil from its head by kicking its legs.
Fiona was stunned by Kick's actions. But that was overshadowed by deep concern. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! GET OFF THAT MACHINE!"
"No! I have to save you from it! Can't you see its clearly dangerous!?"
"THAT'S EXACTLY WHY YOU HAVE TO LEAVE! IT ONLY WANTS ME! IF YOU JUST GET OFF-"
"Hell no!" Kick had a determined look on his face. "Kick Buttowski doesn't quit when something is too hard. He fights through it until it's over!"
Fiona grits her teeth in frustration. 'Why won't he listen to me?! Why does he care so much?! Everyone else would've given up on me...And yet him...'
"DAMN IT KICK! ISN'T YOUR LIFE WORTH SOMETHING!? WHY WOULD YOU RISK YOUR LIFE...For someone like me?" Fiona tone was saddened.
"Because everyone has a purpose in life!" Fiona froze upon hearing those words.
"Look...I don't know what happened to you that made you feel this way...But standing there, sulking about whatever the hell you went through is not the answer your looking for! Don't you have dreams?! Don't you have ambitions?! I do too! And I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make them come true! Fiona...Are you willing to do the same?!"
Fiona felt like her heart skipped a beat that she grasped her chest. She couldn't remember anyone who believed in her. Most people didn't give a damn about her. And he just saw her as a puppet. And yet...This boy wanted to help her so badly. Fiona looked at everyone with hate, but Kick...For the first time in her life, she felt love.
The tears she built up quickly fell from Fiona's face as he grips her fists.
"I want...TO BE FREE FROM ROBOTNIK!" Without warning, she jumps into the air and delivers a swift kick to the dog's head. The force of the impact made Kick fall of the dog as the dog in question was sent flying a few feet as it crashed into a wall. Kick luckily turned into a ball before hitting the ground. He then turns back to normal as he turns to Fiona.
"Kick Buttowski..." She gives a warm smile. "Thank you for once again believing in me when no else did."
"Well I couldn't let someone as pretty as you be some dog's chewtoy." Fiona blushed when he called her pretty.
The robo dog slowly got up and howled as it locked eyes onto Kick and Fiona.
"Let's take this dog to the pound!" Kick smiled.
Fiona for some reason felt confident. Maybe it was because of Kick?
"Yeah...Let's do this!" Fiona exclaimed.
Reinaldo was desperately trying to avoid laser after laser. He wondered how the hell he was still alive.
"We gotta help the fella! Eventually he is going to be shot!" Bonnie told Rouge.
"The problem is that those lasers will be too fast to dodge." Rouge said. "Damn it! Where the hell is Kick? If he was here, he could probably avoid them."
Bonnie clenched her fists. "Forget this. I'm going to save him!" Bonnie said as she extends her left arm, narrowly avoiding being shot at. The rabbit woman grabbed Reinaldo's collar and yanked it hard.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Reinaldo screamed out as he was being manhandled by Bonnie.
"Got ya!" Bonnie successfully moved Reinaldo, who kept screaming.
"Hey! You're no longer being shot at." Rouge told him and he stopped screaming, looking embarrassed.
"...Right."
"But those things will come for us soon. We need to figure out a way to take them all out at once." Rouge told them.
Reinaldo then had an idea.
"Rouge, give me your bomb." The bat woman tossed her bomb to Reinaldo.
He then twisted the lids and opened up the interior of the bomb. They both saw that he was tinkering with it.
"Ummm...If ya going to anything, now's the time!" Bonnie pointed to the Badniks flying to them.
"Done!" And the bomb returned to normal.
"What did you do?" Asked Rogue which the genius smiled. "I changed the range of the explosion. It should destroy all of them." Rogue raised her eyebrows.
"Impressive. Only I know how to that. Yet it took you a minute to do so."
Reinaldo crossed his arms and had a wide grin. "Don't underestimate me." He used Rouge's words, back at her.
He turned to the Badniks. "Ladies, get back. Things are going to get messy." Reinaldo got into a pitcher position and threw the bomb...Only for it to land a few feet in front of him. Much to the women's disappointment.
"That's how you throw?" Rouge asked him.
"My baby brother can throw a ball farther than you." Bonnie added.
"SHUT UP!...I just need to work out more." He defended himself.
They heard the bomb beeping loud.
"MOVE!" Rouge shouted out. Bonnie stretched her arm and grabbed to the railing on the upper floor. She grabbed Rouge and Rouge grabbed Reinaldo.
"Not again..." He said solemnly. Bonnie then went to the upper rail as Reinaldo screamed for the second time.
The Eggrobos were about to shot them when the bomb went off.
BOOM
A large explosion shook the mall as the cluster of Badniks were destroyed. Surprisingly, the animals inside the broken robots were unharmed.
Kick and Fiona dodged an incoming charge from the robo dog.
Kick turned into a ball and did a spin dash to hit the Cerberus's side, but he just bounced off the armor and falls to the floor.
"Damn it. No matter how many times I hit it, that dog has some serious protection." Kick noted.
"Correct. Robotnik made the armor strong enough that even a missile wouldn't put a dent on it." Fiona added.
"Then how do we take it down?"
"Remember when you grabbed its antenna?" Kick raised his eyebrows.
"Robotnik is controlling the thing using a remote. The antenna is the receptor. Take control of the antenna, and you can smash it anywhere it's hard."
Kick had a huge grin. "You had me at smashing."
The Cerberus charged at them again. Fiona ran to the left. Since the Cerberus was programmed to find Fiona, it skids to a halt and then chased Fiona to the direction she was running.
Kick used this opportunity to jump into the air and ride the dog's rails again until he reached its head and grabbed the antenna again.
The dog halts to a stop as it tries to shake Kick off of it. "Nice try little doggy. You can't get rid of me that easily." Kick said as he yanked the antenna, causing the dog to move to a certain direction. The dog desperately tried to remove Kick by smashing into some things, but it was too big for those stuff.
"Kick! Get that mutt out of here!" Fiona told him.
Kick nods as he yanks the antenna again, causing the dog to roar out as it charged to another direction.
Outside...
"What do you mean I can't enter the mall?"
Just as Lien-Da was about to enter the mall, some fat mall cop on a segway stopped her.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but it appears that a giant robotic dog was seen in the mall, thrashing everything in its sight." He told her.
Lien-Da was annoyed by him. "You don't understand! There's an important item in there I have to get!" She told him.
"Look, I understand you want to do some shopping." 'SHOPPING?!' Thought Lien-Da.
"But we've been told to make sure no one enters this mall. Besides, it's much safer outside than inside."
Without warning, there was a loud crash as a giant robotic dog went smashed through the entrance, it rolled on the ground as it destroyed some cars in its way.
"EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!" The mall cop just drove away from the scene. Lien-Da was stunned by the sight of that machine.
"This day cannot get any weirder."
She was proven wrong when a spiky ball ran past her. The ball revealed itself to be Kick.
"Phew! I think I beat that mutt." Kick thought.
"Not so fast Kick." Fiona ran to him. "You managed to destroy its head armor, but it's not down yet." Proof of her words, the Cerberus slowly got up and they say that his head gear was gone. The mutt was doing a bull position as it got ready to pierce Kick.
"All right."
Kick stretched his legs. "Time put this dog down." Kick ran at fast speeds, surprisingly Lien-Da.
"I know Fintevus showed how he was running, but I didn't think he could move at that much speed." She told herself.
"Hey doggy! Try to catch me!" Kick mocked the dog by turning around and smacking his butt in front of it. Believe or not, this infuriated the robotic dog as it charged at Kick.
"Is he stupid?! That thing is going to kill him!" 'Wait...Why am I showing concern for a human?'
Before it could pierce Kick, the Daredevil began to run around it, causing the dog to stop in place.
"What's wrong fido, can't keep up?!" Kick mocked the machine.
The Cerberus tried to follow Kick's movement, but because of his speed, its sensor is failing to keep up with him. Kick decided to add more juice to his speed as he kept circling it. He was going so fast that it looked multiple of him was running around the robotic dog. Then to Fiona and Lien-Da's surprise, they could hear wind as a tornado was starting to form, which was engulfing the dog.
"T-T-T-That's not possible...He is moving so fast that he is manipulating the weather?!" Lien-Da was definitely shocked at Kick's display. The tornado was picking up the mutt as it was flying in the air. Kick then stops as he turns around and was surprised as well to see a tornado.
"Cool...I can summon tornadoes!" Kick cheered.
Inside the tornado, the Egg-Cerberus was slowly being torn apart as sharp winds seemed to cut some pieces of the robot. Eventually, the dog flew out the tornado as it was seen spinning in the air frantically.
Kick then took out a Chaos Emerald, which made Fiona and Lien-Da gasp. The jewel glowed as Kick teleported to the air where the Cerberus was flying. Kick closed his eyes as the emerald glowed and he felt himself being powered up by the emerald as he was surrounded by a green aura. He turned into a ball and spun really fast in the air. The Cerberus's underbelly was exposed which meant Kick had a good shot of taking it down. Kick spin dashed and hit the underbelly dead center. The impact caused the Cerberus to fall to the ground really fast. Smoke cleared as the now damaged Egg-Cerberus was in a large crater. Kick jumped out of the crater with a large grin.
"Every dog has its day, but his was his last day." Kick then did his signature pose.
Fiona was surprised on how strong Kick was. 'I don't believe...Robotnik's Cerberus is one of his strongest robots...And it was taken down by him...Just who are you Kick Buttowski?'
Lien-Da's mind was a total mess at the events she saw. 'T-T-T-That's...That's impossible! A human...A human child no less harnessed the power of Chaos Energy...He's not even an echidna! So this why Finitevus was interested in him...Kick Buttowski, you are indeed an anomaly...An anomaly that Finitevus will definitely tear apart for...But the real question here is...How did a mere human like him obtain a Chaos Emerald?'
Sparks could be heard as Fiona picked up the sound and was filled with dread.
"KICK! MOVE OUT THE WAY BEFORE IT EX-"
BOOM
Kick was blown towards Fiona as a large explosion occurred. Fiona widens her eyes as Kick was flying to her. But because she stood still, she was tackled by him as they rolled to the ground until they stopped.
Both Kick and Fiona blushed when they saw that Kick was on top of her while she was at the bottom. The Daredevil had a great view of her voluptuous body.
'Don't have a boner. Don't have a boner. Don't have a boner. Don't have a boner.'
"Sorry.." Kick whispered.
They both helped each other up.
"Don't worry about it." Fiona assured him.
"KICK!" Both turn to Reinaldo, Bonnie, and Rouge. Although they looked roughed up, mostly Reinaldo.
"Thank heavens ya alright!" Bonnie was happy to see her hero.
"Hey Rei, glad to see you're fine." Kick greeted him.
Reinaldo's eyes twitch. "Fine? FINE?! I WAS ALMOST KILLED!"
"Well your standing here aren't ya?" Kick deadpanned.
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" He yelled out with blank eyes and shark teeth. "NEVER LEAVE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!"
Rouge giggled, then spots Fiona. And she had a sly grin.
"Who's this chick?"
"Ah! That's Fiona." He introduced her.
"Fiona these are my friends. Rouge is the bat woman. Reinaldo is the nerd. And Bonnie is the rabbit woman."
Fiona couldn't help but stare at Bonnie. She walked to her.
"What's up?"
Without warning, Fiona yanked her sleeve, revealing her metallic parts. Which Fiona frowned upon.
"This is Robotnik's work. I'm guessing that his robots tried to roboticze you."
Bonnie was surprised by this. "How did..."
"It's because...I was once affiliated with Robotnik."
The group of four gasped. They could clearly see the pain in her eyes.
"Robotnik...That monster...He..."
"Fiona." Kick grabbed her hand. "If it's something you don't want to talk about, then that's fine. All that matters is that you're no longer with that Egghead. In fact, why don't you come with us?" Kick gestured his hand with a smile.
"B-B-But...The whole reason why you were attacked because he was searching for me...If I stay with you...Then he'll..."
"It doesn't matter! You said you wanted freedom from Eggman right?"
"...Yes..."
Kick extends his hand.
"Then isn't it better to live a life you want rather than living in fear?"
Fiona once again felt her heart skip a beat. As long as she remembered, no one was this kind to her, no one would risk her life for her, no would...Make her happy.
Doki Doki
Tears streamed down her face as she smiled. "I would love that very much." Fiona grabbed Kick's hand.
"Man. You're such a crybaby, but I'm glad to have you as a friend." Kick said.
'Maybe more than you think Kick Buttowski.' Thought Fiona in happiness.
"KICK!" The five turned to a teen that only Kick recognized. Lien-Da slowly walked to Kick.
"Lindsey! What are you doing here? Where you here this whole time? You know it was dangerous to stay here you could've-"
"You have a Chaos Emerald."
The sentence made Kick freeze as Reinaldo tensed. Rouge and Fiona had astonished looks. Bonnie just looked confused.
"I want the truth, where the hell did you get a Chaos Emerald?" She demanded. Her gaze never faltered.
