Two weeks had passed since Superman's appearance, soon it was all over the papers but what stood out the most was the Daily Bugle with a front page photo of Superman saving a green Chevrolet car from falling off the highway.
The iconic scene of a man holding the main symbol of American capital was how the report began, J.Jonah Jameson spared no effort to create a foundation in his story and everyone had to be on top of the situation.
"I want pictures of this flying man on my desk in thirty-seven minutes or heads will roll!!!"
Said the owner of the eccentric newspaper, J.Jonah was a Caucasian male just in his mid-thirties, wearing only a white dress shirt with a black tie, black hair and brown eyes and no iconic moustache. His longtime friend and older journalist Joseph "Robbie" Robertson, a black man wearing a blue suit and white dress shirt, just smiled at his friend's demeanor and soon went back to work.
Jameson was responsible for the theme "Superman Hero or Threat?" common among ordinary people, would a man with so much power really be good news? however, soon came more news of the hero's rescues and how he stopped members of the newest threat to the Inter gang.
The Inter gang were a group of criminals who carried out their robberies using technology too advanced for the time, they were gaining strength in recent times but their last robbery in Stark Industries or Oscorp's warehouse was stopped by Superman.
People soon began to think that maybe this flying man was not a threat but a gift and this feeling spread when news from other countries reported his Herculean feats. A new wave of fans of the new hero was emerging because since the end of the Second World War no hero had appeared to the general public and now they had a new symbol.
However, the world was not only made of good people and some groups did not look at the hero's good deeds but at his appearance, for some the simple fact that he was "black" and had all this power was revolting, but for a more select it wasn't the skin color they were concerned about but their genetics.
[Striker Purity Church]
In a richer part of the city there was a very beautiful large church, with many carvings and handmade furniture, the owner of this church was the Reverend William Striker, who at that moment was watching the news and saw Superman helping a stranded ship to return to the coast.
William Striker could be many things but a tolerant man that he was not and as soon as he saw the skills of the man in front of him he was seized by a previously dormant fury and with force he threw the remote at the television breaking the screen into several pieces.
'Damn freak!! desecrated the Land of God with his filthy presence! , but soon you and all your race will succumb to the divine punishment that will be done through my hands.'
He finished that dark thought and soon he retired to carry out his chores and arriving in the area where his mass was held, a crowd of people was in front of him making him smile.
[Above Airport, Las Vegas]
Up in the skies of one of the most famous cities in the United States, a large flying installation was imposing, this was the base of one of the most important organisations in the world, this was the Shield Airport.
In the command center, several agents were at their jobs and others running from one place to another to carry out their tasks, all organized and in sync.
In an area above where it was possible to see the entire command area of the station was a man, he had the same blue military uniform with white details, a black man with 1:90 height, black hair with white hair on the sides, his most notable feature was the eye patch over his left eye.
"Hill! report."
He demanded and soon a warm woman with short brown hair came along, this was Maria Hill who soon came with a small tablet-like device with the "S.T.A.R. LAB" logo on the back.
"Director Fury in the last two weeks the super human currently known by popular opinion as "Superman" has stopped several disasters of a climatic or human nature, from fires, earthquakes, floods to bank robberies or industrial accidents."
"What has our intelligence discovered so far about his whereabouts?"
Maria Hill hesitated for a while and Fury noticed it.
"Hill?"
"Sir, intelligence has informed us that our equipment cannot keep up with Superman's speed, currently following his trajectory seems unfeasible."
She responded expecting to receive a scolding for not being able to get the job done, but all she got was a contemplative silence from her superior.
"Hill I'm going to get my car, until further notice no one leaves their post, I want every free location rig aimed at this Superman, if he moves an inch I want to be the first to know."
He walked away while Maria looked shocked as the Director rarely went in person and only sent a special agent, it must be very important if he didn't even call her.
"May I ask where you are going?"
"Find an old acquaintance."
[Xavier Mansion, Westchester County, New York]
In a secluded region of Winchester in a heavily forested area was a large estate, an old style but very well maintained mansion this mansion belonged to the Xavier family for generations and its current owner has recently turned it into a school.
This was the Xavier School for gifted young people, its director and teacher was Charles Xavier, one of the greatest geneticists of the last century, but his theory about the X gene was recently reformulated by Calvin Kent, currently the names used are meta-gene and Meta-Humans.
Many expected that Charles would be irritated that an unknown young man had refuted his work but it was the opposite, Charles was fascinated and studied the thesis in depth and soon adopted it in his classes, he also noticed the defects and errors of his work on how to use the term "mutant".
Now he was happy to say that he was a Metahuman like some of his students, but Charles had a past before he was a teacher and an acquaintance from that past had visited him today.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit, Director Fury?"
Charles was a bald, Caucasian-skinned man in his fifties, wearing a green suit and black tie but most interesting was the floating yellow wheelchair he used.
"It's also good to see you Charles, I see that the time for you has been kind."
Nick Fury said looking at Charles that despite his age he didn't look so worn out, this was due to the Meta-gene slowing down aging considerably.
"Haha perks of being a Meta-Human I imagine, but let's cut the formalities, tell Nick what can I help you with?"
Charles asked good-naturedly, he had a troubled past and Nick Fury was partly responsible for that, but he was grateful that he would not be the man he is today and because of that he had a good relationship with the Director of Shield.
Nick nodded and took out a device, he pressed a button and several holographic screens appeared, Charles saw that they all had something in common, and that was that they all showed the image of Superman.
"Oh I see, well I must say that I find it comforting that young people today can have an example to follow, but I still don't understand what you want."
"I would like to find him, I know what it looks like Charles but someone with that level of power is dangerous and I need to know if he is a danger to the planet."
Nick said seriously as he looked at the man in front of him, he knew Charles' skills and I thanked God that this man had such an honest and good-hearted nature, otherwise they would have serious problems.
"*sigh* I understand your logic and will help you, but only to prove you don't need to worry, and besides, I don't even know if he's a Metahuman my friend."
Nick squinted his only eye with that last part, he saw the abilities and everything indicated that it was not the work of an experiment because if it were the world would collapse with the possibility of an army of Superman.
"I know what it sounds like but you must remember that Metahumans usually awaken one skill, at most two that complement each other."
Charles explained as he pointed to the various images of Superman's different powers.
"And from what I can see none of the skills connect, super strength, flight, super speed, emission of thermal energy from the eyes, invulnerability none of those connect, which means..."
"That means ..?"
"That maybe you're not dealing with anything of this world Fury , and if that's the case I think you should consider letting me take over this case."
Charles explained and Fury at the moment that he was going to say his so famous "Motherfucker" the office door was opened with two people falling.
The two adults looked at the little intruders, Nick looked nervous while Charles just looked amused, the two intruders were a fourteen year old boy and girl.
The boy had Caucasian skin with brown hair, had a thin build for his age, his main feature was the red glasses on his face.
The girl had Caucasian skin with straight shiny red hair, was quite pretty and was taller than her average age, she had beautiful green eyes.
The two spies were Jean Grey and Scott Summers two of the first "special" students Charles had encountered that year, there was one more named Bob but he was with his family at the time.
" hm.. oops?"
Jean said awkwardly as Scott looked worriedly at the man much bigger and angrier than himself, but he still helped Jean up and stood in front of her.
"Well what do we have here."
While at the Xavier mansion the two teenagers were in trouble, far away in a large building located in England in the city of London an argument was taking place.
"Commander please understand tests in this period are not possible!!"
"I don't care Richards!! I want that crew of his in the sky or else you can kiss your air force funding goodbye, have a nice day."
"Damn it !!"
More chapters to introduce some important people, there will be some changes in less important things like where the characters live, the reason is the fact that several heroes heroes stay in New York!!
From now on the chapters will stay in Superman's daily life and some of his original villains appearing here, meanwhile there will be small appearances of Marvel characters.
In the next chapter there will be the appearance of an important villain of Superman so wait!!
