Ok, first off, I want to say that I must be doing something right if a lot of people are favoriting and following this story. Must be because I brought in someone who Disney wrote off when they bought Star Wars from George Lucas. Thought I will admit, that I wasn't a fan of him before, but I love Galen now.

Second, speaking of Disney I just got Disney Plus and watched the first episode of the Mandalorian and I am loving it. I can't wait for the second season of the series. Plus, I can now watch the other Star Wars movies whenever I want.

Third, I got my hands on Jedi Fallen Order and I say, it's a pretty good game so far, but I wish they included some of the same gameplay mechanics that were in previous Star Wars games, like being able to cut off certain limbs of enemies, wield two sabers and use blasters. Oh, I almost forgot to describe what Rose's weapons, her calvary sabers gun modes are the 1873 Single Army Action while the saber mode is that of the Model 1860 saber. Her shotgun is the Winchester 1887 while her rifle is the Winchester 1873, with scope. As for her attire, it's the outfit worn by good old John Marston from Red Dead Redemption.

Now onto reviews.

Darth Cody: Thanks man, I had no idea you made that guy up on the spot. I can barely do that for characters myself, with the exception of Rose Henry.

Xavier Arias Gonsalves: Trust me, I know Adam doesn't think he is superior.

And finally, Mr. Shades42: Old or in their prime? You'll have to wait see about the clones.

Ok, let's get this started. Disclaimers are the same as before. Please enjoy.

Chapter 5: The Emerald Forest

In another part of the Emerald Forest, Yang walked around looking for both Ruby and the person who would be her partner. "Helloooooooo? Is anyone out there? Helloooo? I'm getting bored here!" Yang called out not noticing a shadow quickly passing by her.

Soon she heard a rustling from the nearby bushes behind her and turned around. "Is someone there?" she asked before peaking over the bush. "Ruby, is that you?" she called out. All she heard was a low, inhuman growl and stared at the source. "Nope!"

Rolling to the side and avoiding the charge of an Ursa, Yang got up and activated Ember Celica and stared at the monster before another one ran out behind her. Leaping out of the way, the other Ursa ran towards her only to be knocked back by a fiery punch. She soon charged at the other Ursa which did the same thing only for Yang to get underneath it to deliver several punches and a kick which sent the creature back. "You guys wouldn't happen to have seen a girl in a red hood, would you?" she asked. The Ursa merely growled at her. "You could just say 'no'". She quipped, like they could answer her anyways.

One of the Ursa stood up on its leg and swiped at her twice with its claws. Yang was barely able to dodge the attacks and just laughed. "Geeeez, you two couldn't hit the broad side of a…" she began only to notice a single strand of her hair fell from her hair and landed on the ground. "You…" she growled, closing her violet eyes, opening them later to reveal they changed to red, making the Ursai look at each other in confused. "You monster!" she screamed as an inferno surrounded her for a moment before she rocketed forward, unleashing a combo of flaming hits and blows on the Ursa that offended her.

The Ursa was sent flying through several burning trees before the other monster ran over to Yang only to stop short of Yang's gaze as a tree behind her fell to the ground. "What! You want some, too?!" she shouted towards the Bear Grimm. The Ursa reared itself up and was about to strike, before it made a befuddled noise and fell down a second later.

Recalling her weapon from the beasts back, Blake smiled as Yang panted in exhaustion as her eyes turned purple again. "I could've taken him." she said to her new partner as the remains of the monster smoked.

Meanwhile, Weiss deflected a swipe from a Beowolf with her Rapier, but only ended up getting pushed back into the middle of a circle of beasts. Holding out her sword, she went through the same dueling motions and practices she had practiced over and over again for as long as she remembered. "Remember your training, Weiss. Head up, shoulders back, right foot forward… not that forward! Slow your breathing, wait for the right time to strike and…" She thought in her head, bringing her rapier up, the revolver part spinning. "Now!

Dashing forwards with her weapon loaded, she was prepared to strike down the Beowolf in front of her, only to have Ruby appear right in front of her in a blur of rose petals, swiping her own weapon at the monster. "Gotcha!"

Weiss's eyes widen and screamed as she quickly stopped her attack only to swing her sword in a random direction, setting a nearby tree ablaze with her attack which were followed by the rest of the area around the clearing. Ruby noticed Weiss's mistake and took her eyes off the Beowolf she was fighting, which scratched at her weapon knocking her into Weiss. "Hey, watch it!" She yelled.

"Excuse me! You attacked out of turn! I could have killed you!" Weiss countered.

"You'll have to try harder than that…" Ruby muttered as both looked at the pack of Beowolves started to whine and growl around them. While Ruby reloaded her weapon, a flaming tree fell nearby. Weiss quickly grabbed Ruby's arm and lead her away as the blaze engulfed the grass and sent the Grimm running back the way they came of dying in the fire.

They soon stopped a safe distance from the smoke and flames with Weiss leaned over and panted while Ruby looked behind her. What was that?! That should've been easy!" Ruby questioned.

"Well perhaps if you had exercised even the slightest amount of caution with the placement of your strikes, I wouldn't have set the forest on fire!" Weiss replied angrily.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ruby asked with a scoff.

"I'm just surprised someone who talks so much would communicate so little during an encounter!" Weiss argued.

"Well, I'm sorry you need my help to win a fight. I'm just fine on my own!" Ruby retorted.

"Well, congratulations on being the strongest child to sneak your way into Beacon. Bravo!" she added and started to walk away from her partner yet again. With an agitated shriek, Ruby unfolded her scythe and sliced a tree down to the stump before folding it back up and followed her partner, neither of them noticing a large dark feather floating onto the trunk behind them.

Meanwhile across the forest, Jaune thrusted his sword into the back on an Ursa while Pyrrha blocked the claws of a Beowolf with her shield before stabbing her spear into the chest of the wolf Grimm. Both creatures fell down to the ground, dissipating into dark mist. "That takes care of those Grimm." Jaune said, sheathing his weapon. He then turned his head when he heard a familiar noise.

"Gunfire. It seems some of our comrades have encountered the enemy." Pyrrha stated. She was about to move, when Jaune drew his sword again, leapt over her head and stabbed a Grimm they had missed right in the head killing it. "Wow, Jaune. I'm impressed. How did you know that Grimm was there?" Pyrrha asked.

"Oh… Well. I just had this feeling and trusted my gut." Jaune answered. "When I was younger, I trained with a great teacher who taught me to how to fight and even unlocked my aura. Never did find out his name though, he kept a hood over his head. Said he was a Faunus that most people would see him as a monster." He added.

"That's just sad." Pyrrha said. The two kept on moving forwards, pushing branches out of their way, all the while they kept on the lookout for Grimm. As they did, Pyrrha raised a branch to pass by but accidently released it right into Jaune's face. "Jaune! I'm sorry!" she said, turning around behind her to check on her partner.

"Don't worry about it. I wasn't looking where I was going. I thought I saw something in the bushes." Jaune said shrugging it off as if it were nothing. "Besides, it's just a scratch." He added, putting a hand to his cheek where he got a gash from the recoil of the branch which he then healed with his aura. "Hey, Pyrrha. Do you know anything about Galen? I mean he matches the description of that 'Wandering Huntsman' I've heard about him on the news and from what I've heard, he might even be just as strong as you."

"I don't really know much about him." Pyrrha answered. "Though I've heard the same things you've heard. That he's protected entire villages from Grimm hordes before they even got close to settlements and has a powerful form of telekinesis. Though I will say, his clothing is certainly unique and his abilities are quite powerful. But his weapons, they aren't like anything I've seen before." She added.

"I know what you've mean. But his abilities, they remind me of some of the stories my sister Saphron used to tell me when I was a kid. Stories about people who wielded weapons like that and had the same abilities that Galen had. I think she said some of them looked like they were Faunus, although some of them looked to be… rather odd." Jaune agreed.

"I've heard those stories myself. If those stories are true, I would very much like to see it with my own eyes." Pyrrha stated.

Meanwhile, Lie Ren continued to trek through the tall grass in the part of the forest he was in but stopped. Narrowing his eyes and looking around him, a huge black serpent type Grimm called a King Taijitu rose up from the grass behind him and quickly surrounded him with its large, hissing body. Adopting a fighting stance, Ren waited for the snake to attack him before he leapt out of the way, the Grimm's mouth hitting the ground before it shot up and managed to hit Ren in the back.

The King Taijitu encircled Ren yet again, but the black-haired boy quickly unleashed his submachine guns before he jumped into the air and started to fire. A kick to snake's snout was followed by a slash to its head as the snake flowed Ren around and tried to bite him, only for Ren to flip over the monster and drove his weapons into the head of the monster, pausing for a moment before he sensed the white head of the Grimm appearing behind him.

Ren was quick to dodge as the second head launched itself towards him. Landing on the ground, he noticed the head slither towards him and waited for it to get closer to him before running at it and leaping onto the black head, sliding over its body and blasting at the other head. However, he was unprepared for the white half to hit him with its head knocking him off and causing him to drop his weapons.

The black head of the snake would have swallowed him whole, had he not been quick enough to grab the front fangs of the creature with his hands, glowing a faint pulsating pink as he grips the teeth and yanked them from the monster's mouth. The creature flailed away before attempting bite him again, but Ren quickly spun to the side and stabbed one of the fangs into its eye before rotating his arm and delivered a final blow which drove the makeshift weapon into its skull, which rippled and expanded before finally exploding in a dark mess. Wasting no time, Ren ran towards the white head and did the same thing to the other head.

Once the creature was eliminated, Ren quickly collected his weapons before he heard a strange noise from above him. Looking up, he spotted Nora handing upside-down directly in front of him. "I still don't think that's what a sloth sounds like." He chuckled. In response, Nora gave him a 'Boop!" on the nose before they started off towards the temple.

Meanwhile, Rose thrusted both of her swords into an unsuspecting Creep while Arthur slashed another one down the middle. "It would appear that we are not the only ones dealing with the Grimm." The knight stated, hearing the distant gunfire from other groups of students.

"Well it's like Ozpin said, the forest is full of Grimm. It's all part of the challenge and there ain't no way I'm going to get mauled by a bunch of black uglies." Rose said. "These hombre's stand between us and the temple." She added reloading her pistol swords.

"No cake or birthdays for anyone who gets in our way." Marche said with a laugh as he laid a few 'presents' by several bushes. "But they will still get a few surprises if they follow us." He added with a chuckle.

"You seem to be a short a few cards of a deck." Rose said. She then turned around. "Hey, where's the guy with the glowing swords?" She asked. She soon got her answer as Galen dropped down from a tree.

"We're not far from the temple." Galen said. "Its just through… these… trees…" he added before noticed the large number of presents piled around the area. "Ok. Something is really wrong with rabbit boy over there."

"I find that the best way to take out a large number of Grimm is to give them a surprise that goes… boom!" Marche said with a laugh.

"Once again, are you insane?!" Galen asked.

"Eh, just a little." Marche said with a shrug of his shoulders. Galen just watched as the rabbit faunus walk away in the direction of the temple. "Last one to the temple has to clean my hat!" he said with a smile.

"You know, that guy worries me." Galen murmured to himself before he turned to Rose and Arthur. "Remind me to have that guy checked into the medical center when we get back to Beacon." He said to the two.

"I'll make a note of it." Rose said and proceeded to follow the crazy rabbit. "You know, those are some pretty fancy looking blades. Tell me, where did you get them?" she asked.

"I built my weapon. The second one I took of a bandit who tried to get me to join their tribe. She never did tell me where she found it, but I have a feeling I might find out someday." Galen answered, keeping his sabers within arm's reach.

"Interesting. My ma used to tell me stories about people who wielded weapons much like yours. They fought for no kingdom or single person, but no one ever did know where they came from. Also heard they had some kind of strange mind powers." Rose explained.

"Have the Jedi and Sith been to this planet before?" Galen thought to himself. It seemed that Remnant had a connection to both sides of the force yet they weren't even a part of the former Republic or the Empire. Someone or someone's wanted to keep this planet hidden from the rest of the galaxy and he didn't know why.

Back at the top of the cliff, Professor Ozpin watched the students on his Scroll as Glynda walked over to him, holding her own scroll. "The last pair has been formed, sir." She began, taping the screen on her own device and showing Nora and Ren together. "Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy… I can't possibly imagine those two getting along." She added before she changed the video to Pyrrha and Jaune.

"Still, at least Miss Nikos is better off with Mr. Arc." She noted while Ozpin just muttered a 'Hm'. "I will admit, his transcripts say that he is ready for this level of combat, but something about Jaune's teacher is troubling me. All we have to go on is that his teacher is someone called 'the old master'. I can't help but wonder if they might have something to do with the Dark Side of the Force." She stated.

"Speaking of the Force, it would appear that Mr. Marek has already found his teammates. He is certainly qualified for this type of combat, but I feel there is more that we don't know about him." she added. "I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?" she asked as she turned back to Ozpin who didn't answer her. "Professor Ozpin?"

Ozpin did here Glynda, but he was more focused on the footage of Ruby and Weiss who weren't getting along as well as the others.

Speaking of said pair, Weiss started off walking in one direction. "It's definitely this way." she said before stopping and started to walk to the left. "I mean… this way! It's definitely this way." she said again before finally stopping in front of Ruby who was sitting on the grass. "Alright, it's official: We passed it." She said as Ruby got back to her feet.

"Weiss, why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going?" Ruby asked her partner, slightly annoyed.

"Because I know exactly where we're going! We're going… to… the forest temple!" Weiss said trying to not to admit that Ruby was right and she had no idea where she was going. In response, Ruby sighed in frustration. "Oh, stop it! You don't know where we are, either!" Weiss retorted.

"Well, at least I'm not pretending like I know everything." Ruby countered.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Weiss asked.

"It means you're a big, stupid jerk and I hate you!" Ruby answered in anger.

Weiss just sighed to herself, spun around and started to walk in another direction. "Just keep moving!" Weiss said.

"Oh, just keep moving! Hurry up! Waaaah! Watch where you're going!" she said in a faux imitation of Weiss's voice before she returned to her normal voice. "Why are you so bossy?" she asked begrudgingly.

"I'm not bossy! Don't say things that!" Weiss retorted, turning around to face Ruby.

"Stop treating me like a kid!" Ruby said getting in Weiss's face.

"Stop acting like a kid!" Weiss retorted.

"Well, stop acting like you're perfect!" Ruby yelled.

"I'm. Not. Perfect! Not yet… But I'm still leagues better than you." Weiss said in defense of herself before she started to walk away.

"You don't even know me…" Ruby said to herself dejectedly.

Meanwhile, Yang and Blake just stepped out into a clearing finding themselves at a circular stone temple which was broken and decrepit, save for the pedestals around the inside which held several black and gold objects. "Think this is it?" Yang asked her partner who gives her an incredulous look before she started heading down the hill with her partner following her.

To their surprise, the items on the pedestals were familiar shapes. "Chess pieces?" Blake asked confused.

Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the first ones here." Yang pointed out to several empty pedestals.

"Well, I guess we should pick one." Blake said.

In another part of the forest, Jaune and Pyrrha stood at the mouth of a dark cave where several drawings on the side of the cave depicted armed men fighting against giant beasts. "Something tells me this isn't it." Jaune stated.

"It appears we found the entrance to a Deathstalkers lair. We should turn back before it either comes out looking for its next victims or comes out to stretch its legs." Pyrrha said in agreement. Jaune nodded his head in agreement, but turned back to the drawings on the wall, particularly the image of an armed individual holding a glowing stick.

As the two started to leave the cave, neither of them noticed a set of dark glowing lines and eyes coming from the entrance of the cave.

Back at the temple, Yang approached one of the relics, studied a golden knight piece, picked it up and shows it to Blake. "How about a cute little pony?" she asked.

"Sure." Blake said with a smirk.

"That wasn't too hard!" Yang said.

"Well its not like this place is very difficult to find." Blake added with a smile.

Back with Jaune and Pyrrha, the two of them continued through the forest heading away from the cave when the two of them heard a crash. "You heard that, right?" Jaune asked reaching for his sword with Pyrrha doing the same with her spear. The two of them then dodged several falling tree's as a Deathstalker smashed through the forest towards them. "Yep… it was a Deathstalker in that cave." Jaune stated.

"We don't have enough room to fight it. Run!" Pyrrha shouted to her partner before running away. Jaune knew Pyrrha was right and just as he was about to move, the Deathstalker swung one of its pincers which slammed into Jaune and sent him flying through the forest with a scream.

The scream was heard all over the forest, even at the temple where Yang turned in the direction of the source. "Someone's in trouble! Blake did you hear that?" She didn't answer but was looking up in the sky. "Blake, did you hear that?" What should we do?" she asked again.

She soon got her answer as falling from the sky, screaming 'Heads uuuuuuuup!' was Ruby falling towards them.

And chapter is finished. Took me a little while, but its finished. Now onto the review from Luffy L Deathwalker. Yes. March is based off the March Hare from Alice and Wonderland and Arthur is based on King Arthur and Henry the 5th. I knew about the first one, but not the last one. Still, thanks for the review.

Anyway, please read and review and I will see you all next time.
