DISCLAIMER: I don't own Inuyasha, this is just my own OC.
In the western lands, in the clearing by the mountains, Sesshomaru continued battling the fifty demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger. The young lord demon was twirling around with his green poisonous energy whip drawn as he brutally strikes down and deflected all the saimyosho insects of hell back.
"Saimyosho of Hell," the leading demon warrior commanded, "After that demon lord! Take him out, now!"
More saimyosho insects of hell started coming out the hives that lay on the ground before the men and began swarming towards Sesshomaru. Without hesitation, he draws his green poisonous energy whip to strike down and deflect almost all the deadly poisonous insects away from him. The insects were struggling and struggling to get to him and kill him. It became completely difficult for them to get to the young lord demon as they were unable to sting him and kill him, and they began heading back inside the hives. Sesshomaru, however; ended up not being so lucky. A couple poisonous insects have managed to make their way to him and had stung him in his left arm, leaving their stingers to enter his flesh. Toxic poison has now entered his body.
Ignoring the pain from his left arm, Sesshomaru reluctantly unsheathes the Tenseiga as it communicated to him to be drawn. He then smoothly moves to strike all the demon warriors down with one swing.
Naraku's pure bright blue spiritual barrier appeared around the demon samurai warriors, protecting them from being struck down. The white healing energy hurling towards the men from his Tenseiga had dissipated before him to find that they were still alive and had not been affected by the attack.
Seeing that the demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger are unworldly beings due to them being the living dead. They must be defeated by means of battling that are not of the living world. However, there still seemed to be no way for Sesshomaru to break through the half vermin's powerful spiritual barrier.
"It's a matter of time," the leading demon warrior said wickedly, "Until you are forced to relinquish your power to our lord and go to your grave! Prepare to die by our hands Lord Sesshomaru."
"You are the ones who will die," Sesshomaru simply stated coldly, "Along with that lowly half-breed Naraku! My lands and kingdom will NEVER be relinquished to a scum like him."
"These lands belong to Lord Naraku!" he hissed darkly and angrily. The leading demon warrior charged at Sesshomaru as their weapons clashed.
"Hn."
The leading demon samurai warrior started getting agitated and furious that the powerful demon lord was not yet dead. It was seemingly becoming difficult for the half vermin's army to destroy him as was his order. He began moving briskly to swing and lunge at Sesshomaru, missing the young lord demon every time as he had shifted, dodging his attacks. Their weapons had clashed again.
Sesshomaru moves in swiftly to strike the leading demon samurai warrior down with his Tenseiga. As he was about to strike him down and kill him, a spiritual barrier appears around the warrior to protect him from dying. The other demon samurai warriors began circling the young lord demon and the leading demon warrior. All the men still had their weapons drawn, most of whom were fighting with swords. They each held a saimyosho hive in their other hand and threw them up in the air as the saimyosho insects of hell came out and started swarming after him. Noticing more poisonous insects now coming towards him, Sesshomaru draws his green poisonous energy whip and began twirling, brutally striking, and deflecting all the insects away from him. All the demon samurai warriors backed away and managed to dodge the deflected saimyosho insects that were coming at them. He held the Tenseiga in his other hand. The saimyosho insects struggled to make their way to the young lord demon. Not being able to poison him via stinging, they go back inside the hives.
Even someone as strong and powerful as Sesshomaru would not last long in the battle. The poison had already begun to spread throughout his body. However, the epic battle with his arch enemy's newest resurrected army was still far from over. It would need to come to an end soon.
"It's about to be over, Lord Sesshomaru," the leading demon warrior stated wickedly and cruelly, "The Lands of the West shall belong to Lord Naraku and we shall have your head!"
"We shall deliver the final blow," he states cruelly and clearly, "You will see your demise or relinquish your rulership of the western lands. Your kingdom, wealth, and power shall be nonexistent."
"Die!" Sesshomaru hissed coldly. He takes the Tenseiga and moves swiftly as he attempts to strike them all down.
White healing energy began hurling towards them. Another pure bright blue spiritual barrier then appeared around the demon samurai warriors. The young lord demon's attack dissipates and fades away. Sesshomaru lands back on the ground gracefully and stood before the Axe Tiger army. Naraku's spiritual barrier had already dissipated. At the command of the leading demon warrior, all the men perform their own attacks in unison. Sesshomaru barely avoids the blows from the unison attacks that were hurling towards him. All the men's unison attacks blasted into the mountains and had dissipated. He had managed to dodge the attacks and was unaffected.
More unison attacks were hurled towards Sesshomaru as the leading demon warrior had commanded, once again. He continued to dodge the men's unison attacks. He was determined to put an end to his enemy's army once and for all. While dodging the unison attacks that kept coming at him, he eventually ended up being struck. As Sesshomaru was about to die, the Tenseiga began pulsating in his right hand, and a black misty light appeared, engulfing his body to protect him from dying. Then he was teleported away from the battle.
The demon samurai warriors stood and watched as the blast of demonic energy dissipated. Sesshomaru was gone and nowhere to be seen. They all stood in the clearing, wondering whether Sesshomaru was still alive. The men were not certain if they had succeeded in following their lord's orders to destroy him. It seemed like the young lord demon's body had disappeared or even evaporated in the blasts of their unison attacks.
The leading demon samurai warrior walked ahead of the other men with his back facing them. He had carefully thought about what would need to be done to defeat both Sesshomaru and Lady Tsukiyame, if they were, indeed still alive or if they were dead. Being the lord's newest army that have been brought back to life to serve under him. Putting an end to their lord Naraku's enemies and laying claim to the western lands, eastern lands, and the unworldly realms as his domain is top priority.
'Lord Sesshomaru is still alive, is he not?' the leading demon warrior thought to himself.
"The demon lord is not dead." he said in a disappointed tone.
All the men looked at the leading demon samurai warrior a bit puzzled as they did not understand how that could be possible. There was no way Sesshomaru would have been able to survive the army's unison attacks and not be struck down and killed.
A demon warrior finally spoke as he asks, "Exactly what do you mean? There is no way Lord Sesshomaru could have survived. He cannot still be alive."
Silence.
"It's hard to explain," he continued, "It was almost as if he had been shielded by a barrier of some kind that protected him. Then he had just disappeared. How the demon lord was able to accomplish this, I have no idea."
"I see." another demon samurai warrior said stunned.
"If what you are saying is true," another demon samurai warrior said, "Then that would mean we have a much bigger problem on our hands. It almost sounds like Lord Sesshomaru is invincible and is unable to be defeated for some reason."
Standing in the clearing by the mountains silently as more gentle warm breezes blew by. The Axe Tiger army had no way of tracking Sesshomaru down. They all began leaving the clearing to head back into the forests and meet back up with their leader and lord Naraku. All the demon samurai warriors were at least certain, if not hopeful, that the venomous villain would know of a better way to destroy Sesshomaru.
…..
In the eastern lands, at the old battlefield, Lady Tsukiyame continued to battle with the fifty demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger. She and the leading demon samurai warrior charged at each other with their weapons clashing. They both fought continuously with the demon warrior being more determined than ever to follow the orders of their leader and lord Naraku. They were ordered to claim the eastern lands as rightfully his and destroy her. Of course, that would never happen. Lady Tsukiyame will never allow herself to be killed by the half vermin's resurrected army or allow them to dethrone her and raid her lands and people.
He moves forward towards Lady Tsukiyame with his spiked weapon as he tries to strike her down unsuccessfully. She smoothly and quickly dodges the attack. She is still in her matter less form. His weapon kept going through her body like air, even though it was visibly seen. Suddenly, the demon warrior's body ended up being severed in half, from top to bottom, and his lifeless body falls to the ground, with the young lady half demoness now standing, looking behind her at the dead corpse. Lady Tsukiyame turns back around and faces the slain warrior before her. A lavender light then surrounds the warrior's severed body with another shining light coming from the embedded Sacred Shikon Jewel shard, fusing the body back together, and bringing him back to life. The leading demon warrior rises back up to his feet before Lady Tsukiyame and is ready to take her on again. Both began charging at each other with their weapons clashing. Following his lord's order to dethrone her and gain control over her queendom and her lands was top priority.
She senses and feels the other demon samurai warriors circling them both, attempting to try and overpower her, as they fought. Their weapons were still drawn. They prepared to take her out. The two continued fighting with their weapons clashing.
"It's a matter of time, my lady," the leading demon warrior said darkly, smirking, "It's only a matter of time before you lose your throne, queendom, and lands. Lord Naraku shall have the eastern lands as his domain, and you shall surrender your rulership and perish."
"Leave, "Lady Tsukiyame commanded and hissed coldly, "LEAVE and get the fuck out of my lands, now!"
"Angelic Curse Twister!" she cried out her attack. Lady Tsukiyame leapt in the air before the men and twirled her sword downward and swung it with such perfect skill.
White energy, red energy, and a ball of black magic with a black angelic spirit appeared. The attack was hurled towards the demon samurai warriors, striking them all down and killing them. As the young lady half demoness landed back on the ground gracefully, all the fifty warriors' dead bodies were now surrounded by a lavender light with another shining light coming from the embedded sacred jewel shards. They were brought back to life and rose to their feet, grinning and smirking wickedly. Lady Tsukiyame and the leading demon samurai warrior faced off again as they fought each other.
The two fought and fought with their weapons continuing to clash. The other demon samurai warriors began coming at her again with their weapons still drawn, ready to kill her. More men were now standing before the young lady half demoness. At the command of the leading demon warrior, the men all performed their unison attacks.
"Black Magic Strike!" Lady Tsukiyame cried out her attack.
Lady Tsukiyame then moves swiftly and holds her sword in front of her horizontally. A wave of black magic appeared and deflected the unison attacks, hurling them right back at the men and striking them, brutally killing them. The black magic dissipates and subsides. She finds the fifty demon warriors being brought back to life once again by Naraku as a lavender light surrounds their dead bodies and another light shines from the embedded sacred jewel shards.
"Your end is coming," Lady Tsukiyame states coldly and clearly, "Your army and that despicable lowly scum Naraku shall perish and return back to the netherworld."
"You little half-breed," the leading demon warrior sneered, "We will never be defeated! You will never succeed at defeating us, nor will Lord Naraku be killed by the likes of you! Now die!"
He charged and swung his spiked weapon at Lady Tsukiyame's matter less form. She successfully dodged the intended blow and moved briskly to strike the demon warrior down. The demon warrior manages to dodge the young lady half demoness' attack. Already had been killed by her several times during the fight, the demon warrior was aware of her next move to try and take him out.
Lady Tsukiyame continued to fight tirelessly with the demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger throughout most of the night. The long battle would need to come to an end soon as she contemplates how Naraku's resurrected army would need to be defeated. It seemed to be that she and Sesshomaru were still unable to defeat their enemy's army due to them being under his protection. It also would not be long, before the young lady half demoness returns to her matter form as her body could not remain in matter less form for much longer.
Both the leading demon warrior and Lady Tsukiyame started charging at each other. Moving in briskly and lunging at her matter less form, she swiftly dodges the attack and swings her Kurai ToksusUsagi sword to strike him down from behind. The demon warrior dodges her attack and leaps over and lands back on the ground gracefully, before her.
Lady Tsukiyame stood before the leading demon warrior as he smirked, ready to take him and the army out. She then notices the other demon samurai warriors approaching them with the saimyosho hives in their hands, sensing and feeling them.
At the command of the leading demon warrior, the men threw the hives in the air and let them fall to the ground with the saimyosho insects of hell now coming out. The saimyosho of hell began swarming towards Lady Tsukiyame. It looked like they had finally succeeded at defeating and taking her out as the saimyosho insects made their way to her. At least that's what the men thought. Suddenly, all Naraku's insects got pushed back by a white barrier-like light. A pure spiritual barrier Lady Tsukiyame had erected via a sacred spiritual chant. She was completely unaffected and still alive. Being unable to completely touch and kill her as it was difficult for them to penetrate the powerful white light, the saimyosho of hell began flying back inside the hives. The white spiritual barrier-like light then dissipates around the young lady half demoness' body. She had already returned to her matter form, unfortunately. Her body was no longer in matter less form. Her body was no longer in matter less form.
Being furious with the fact that they still have not succeeded at killing her, the leading demon warrior charges at Lady Tsukiyame haphazardly. Clearly, the demon warrior is now fighting her in a careless, while trying to lunge at her. She moved swiftly and smoothly as she dodged his useless and now more predictable swings and lunges effortlessly. It seemed like his mind was clouded in both desperation and anger.
"Funny how," Lady Tsukiyame said haughtily and seriously, "Your fighting style has suddenly become so insufficient, that you can't even attempt to aim your blows properly. This desperation of yours to ensure that half vermin Naraku's quest for power is gained at the expense of trying to conquer my lands and queendom is pathetic and weak."
"Shut the fuck up," the leading demon warrior snarled, "A half-breed like you will NEVER defeat Lord Naraku or the Axe Tiger army! He shall gain rulership over these lands by any means necessary!"
Then the leading demon warrior starts charging at Lady Tsukiyame as he was set on killing her. The other demon warriors began charging at her as well. All the men's weapons were still drawn.
Yes, Lady Tsukiyame is, indeed above pursuing power in the manner that both her arch enemies Jaakugou and Naraku were trying to do. Power is something that must be achieved through honorable and respectable means. Seeing that the venomous villain is not only power-hungry, but also so cowardly that he almost never confronts his enemies in person and will resort to pawning, trickery, and other manipulative schemes to get what he wants. She prides herself in the accomplishments she had made towards becoming a powerful daihanyou and inheriting her mother's title of Lady of the Eastern Lands. She would never stoop so low as to try and gain power in the way Jaakugou and Naraku would. To Lady Tsukiyame, this is very pathetic and a weak way to go about becoming a great demon and especially a great half demon.
She began charging at the demon samurai warriors with her Kurai ToksusUsagi still in handy, ready to fight the men head on. Both Lady Tsukiyame and the leading demon warrior leapt in the air briefly as their weapons clashed, before landing back down on the ground gracefully.
"Resign yourself to death!" the demon samurai warriors said in unison. They all circled the young lady half demoness and started closing in on her.
"Die!" Lady Tsukiyame hissed coldly. She leapt up swiftly and over the men smoothly and quickly, landing back on the ground gracefully as she stood behind them.
"Angelic Curse Twister!" she cried out her attack.
She twirls her sword upward and then swings it forward with such perfect skill. White energy, red energy, and a ball of black magic with a black angelic spirit appeared and was hurled towards the demon warriors, striking them all down and brutally killing them. The huge funnel dissipates for her to see the dead bodies of the slain Axe Tiger warriors lying before her. Then the bodies were surrounded by a lavender light and another shining light coming from the embedded sacred jewel shards. All the demon warriors came back to life. Rising to their feet once again, they were ready to deliver the final blow.
"Now, men," the leading demon samurai warrior commanded, "Destroy the half demon lady!"
All the men performed their unison attacks. Demonic energy appeared as it was hurled towards Lady Tsukiyame. She had managed to continue dodging all the unison attacks that kept coming at her with smooth and swift movements.
As the men did their unison attacks, Lady Tsukiyame moves and swings her sword with such perfect skill, blocking the unison attacks with high pressure. White energy and black magic appear as her attack clashes with the demon warriors' unison attacks. Both the young lady half demoness and the fifty men held their own as the attacks continued to clash. The demon warriors' attacks were not subsiding and dissipating, nor was Lady Tsukiyame's attack holding up against their attacks. Though, this is one of her strongest and best attacks. Her attack quickly subsides and dissipates before her as the unison attacks were now hurling towards her.
She was managing to swiftly dodge the demon warriors' unison attacks and ended up being struck. Lady Tsukiyame was about to die, when her Gin JunUsagi sword pulsated at her left side, in her sashes. The silver purifying sheathed blade began purifying the young lady half demoness' body as a white pure light appeared, engulfing her body to protect her. She was then teleported away from the battle. As Ah Un saw her leaving, he quietly followed behind her and the white purifying light.
All the men watched as the blast of the demonic energy from their unison attacks dissipated. Lady Tsukiyame was gone and nowhere to be seen. The fifty Axe Tiger warriors were now standing in the old battlefield, wondering if they had succeeded at killing Lady Tsukiyame. It seemed like the young lady half demoness' body had disappeared or even evaporated in the blast of their unison attacks.
The leading demon warrior walked ahead in the old battlefield as he with his back facing the men. He carefully thought about whether Lady Tsukiyame was still alive or if she really died. After giving what had just happened in the battle with her more thought, the demon warrior came to a disappointing conclusion.
Turning to face the other men, he said, "The half demon lady is still alive."
"What," another demon samurai warrior said stunned, "How can that be? I was sure we had defeated the half demon lady this time. How can she still be alive?"
"Well," he continued, "She had been shieled by some type of spiritual barrier that had protected her. There was a white pure light that looked to had engulfed her body. Then she had just disappeared. I have no idea how the half demon lady was able to accomplish this."
All the men stood looking a bit puzzled and flabbergasted by what they heard. However, what the demon warrior said is true. Lady Tsukiyame was, indeed still alive and with this in mind, the battle to defeat both her and Sesshomaru was far from over. Still, some doubted if whether she was alive and not dead. There was just no way she could have survived the unison attacks and not have been struck down. But she did survive.
Silence.
"I see." another demon samurai warrior said.
"If what you are saying is true," another demon samurai warrior said, "Then we have a much bigger problem on our hands. It sounds like Lady Tsukiyame is invincible and is unable to be defeated. How a mere half demon like her could ever be impossible to take down is beyond my understanding."
"Yes," the leading demon samurai warrior agreed and stated, "Lady Tsukiyame is still alive. She must be defeated, or Lord Naraku's crossover kingdom will never be established.
They stood in the old battlefield as they wondered what must be done to defeat both their lord's enemies. Soon, the demon samurai warriors began turning to leave and head back into the dark forests. Nothing could be done to claim the eastern lands and western lands as their lord's domain, until after Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru were defeated.
…..
Meeting up again later that night back at Naraku's castle deep in the forests and near the demon village, in the northeast, in the Axe Tiger. An abandoned castle the demon lord whom the demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger served under centuries had resided, before they were all killed by an enemy tribe. Their newest lord and leader Naraku had made the castle his current residence where they serve under him, now.
The one-hundred demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger stood and waited as the half spider demon wearing a white baboon pelt suddenly materialized before them. The leading demon samurai warriors of each team of fifty warriors came forward and began explaining what had happened in the battle with his enemy's Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru.
"My lord," the first leading demon warrior began, "I regret to inform you that we have failed to slay Lady Tsukiyame and Lord Sesshomaru. They have somehow managed to survive the battle with us and are still alive. We have no idea how to track them down."
"What?!" Naraku growled darkly. He was furious and just could not believe his arch enemies Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru were still alive and hadn't been struck down.
The second leading demon warrior nodded and said, "Yes, that is what happened."
"Explain, now," he demanded darkly and coldly, "What the hell do you mean those wretches are still alive?! There is no way they should have been able to survive. How is it our enemies have not been defeated?"
"We are not exactly sure," the second leading demon warrior explained, "But it would seem as though both the demon lord and half demon lady had erected some type of barrier that had protected them from dying. When we fought them and delivered the final blow, it seemed like they had just disappeared in the blast from our attacks. After the demonic energy dissipated, they were gone. So, most likely they were whisked many distances away to where we are unable to find them."
"Lord Naraku," another demon warrior commented, "We were hoping you would know how to go about finding their whereabouts."
Both had finished explaining that Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru had survived and were whisked away from the battles with them. Apparently, there was more about the two rivals that Naraku did not know. The venomous villain was not only stunned, but also furious about the fact that they were still alive.
"So, Lord Naraku," another demon warrior asked, "How should we go about defeating Lady Tsukiyame and Lord Sesshomaru? Is there another way we can dethrone them and claim the eastern territory and western territory?"
They all stood silently as they waited for their leaders answer, "I will have to further investigate the half demon lady and the demon lord. In order for us to defeat them, we must have all the information on them that is needed."
"For now," Naraku ordered darkly, "Let's end the meeting for tonight."
"Yes, my lord." the demon samurai warriors said in unison. All of them began leaving to head back towards their old demon village near their lord and leader's castle.
This was the seventeenth chapter!
The long battle between Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru and their enemy Naraku's Axe Tiger army had ended. The search for their arch enemies and to defeat them is still far from over. Look forward to the next chapter to see what happens.
Until then, bye for now!
