It has been a while, since Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru's long battle with Naraku's newest resurrected army of demon samurai warriors of the Axe Tiger had occurred. The search for both their enemies and his father's tomb to claim the heirloom fang Tetsusaiga continues.
She had finished patrolling the eastern lands. After traveling back to her lands and queendom to handle some lady duties and patrol her lands, it was now time for her to continue searching for Naraku. Jaakugou and the snake demon tribe are still unable to be found, and she would need to continue to search for them. She had finished patrolling the Lands of the East for the past two weeks. The young lady half demoness walks into a clearing and had stood there in silence as the sun shined down on her, in the partially clear blue sky. Some clouds had passed by. More lukewarm gentle breezes came by and blew through her hair and clothes, causing them to bounce back and forth. Holding a hand on her chest to begin chanting, a smoky image was summoned and had appeared before her.
"My enemy, Naraku," Lady Tsukiyame said and asked, "Continues to lurk around and seeks to gain control over my queendom and lay claim to my lands. What will his next move be? What does he intend to do next?"
The smoky image starts to reveal to the young lady half demoness Naraku's newest plot. He is plotting and planning to travel to the netherworld to commit an assault on the hell demon tribe. The tribe's members will be put under the his control temporarily and be used as bait to force Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru to relinquish their power and rulership and surrender to him. Using the allying tribe of the kurai angel demons against them in attempt to dethrone them both will bring danger to both the eastern lands and the western lands. Naraku also plans to raid both unworldly realms and seeks to lay claim over both the netherworld and the underworld. The lessor members and supreme rulers of the hell demon tribe will be forced into servitude, along with their beloved leader Empress Jigo Yuu. She will also be compelled to relinquish her power, rulership, and get dethroned.
"How does he plan to accomplish this?" she asked. The smoky image lit up and began showing Naraku's plan in action.
It was revealed to her that Naraku would be showing up at the Sorufuruna Kogane no Hana Temple, in the netherworld, to commit his assault on the tribe. There, a huge worship service would be held and hosted by the hell demon tribe's leader and ruler Empress Jigo Yuu, to worship, honor, and praise the devillesses that govern the unworldly realms they reside in. The venomous villain plans to remain hidden upon his arrival in the netherworld and ambush everybody at the sacred demon temple. That is when the tribe will be attacked ruthlessly to bait his arch enemies and have them killed. Understanding her enemy's plan. A trip to the netherworld would need to be made to defeat and destroy him. She then asked to be shown the connection between Naraku's use of both the sacred holy scepter weapon he wields and the Sacred Shikon Jewel shards that were used to resurrect his army.
"What is the connection between Naraku's sacred holy scepter and the power of the sacred jewel shards he possesses?"
The smoky image suddenly revealed that when Naraku traveled to the netherworld to resurrect the demon samurai warriors that a wish had been made. He had wished for the spiritual powers of his sacred weapon and the power of the sacred jewel shards to be synced. This was done to protect both his army of demon samurai warriors and himself from being destroyed by Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru. Now that she got the information she needed, the smoky image had disappeared and was now gone.
"It all makes sense, now," she concluded, "The demon samurai warriors were unable to be killed the last time Lord Sesshomaru and I fought them due to Naraku syncing the spiritual powers of his weapon to the power of the sacred jewel shards. Meaning they will keep being brought back to life, unless the connection is broken."
With that said, she began leaving the clearing and started heading back to her palace, in her homelands. Her palace was not far from where she was coming from. Being back in the dark forests, she took the shortest and fastest pathway that is normally taken to go back home to the palace. The dark forest provided more shade from the sun than normal as the sunlight did not shine down on the young lady half demoness through the trees as much.
Finally, Lady Tsukiyame arrived at her palace as she was approaching the guarded gate. Her guards had greeted and bowed in respect, before opening the gate to the entrance. She continued down the blood red pearl walkway and steps. More guards were present as they awaited her return, bowing in respect, and sliding the door open for her. Everything looked to be running smoothly in orderly fashion, while she was away patrolling the lands and searching for Naraku and Jaakugou as was her wish. All her servants were hard at work, tidying up, wrapping it up with the cleaning, and putting everything away. It would not be long before she would need to leave again as the search to find her enemies was not over.
"Tsukiyame," Yami said happily, running to hug her elder sister, "You're home! How was the patrol?"
"It went well," Lady Tsukiyame replied, "There are no disturbances as of right now. So, our lands are safe for the time being."
"That's good." she said.
She involuntarily returned her sister's hug and then asked Yami where their mother Usagi and Lord Izu had gone. They were not at the palace currently. They needed to be informed about what she found on Naraku. A council meeting would also need to be held to discuss what their enemy's newest plan to attack them. The empress of the unworldly realms will also need to be informed about Naraku, too. Yami told Lady Tsukiyame they had gone out to handle some business and would return later.
"I'm sorry, sis," Yami told her, "Mom and dad are not here right now. They had gone out to take care of some important business. They should be back home later this evening."
"I will wait for their return," Lady Tsukiyame said, "There is some important things mother, Izu, and the others need to be informed about."
"Okay." she said, nodding.
She then heads for the blood red pearl steps near her throne to go upstairs to her bedroom. After going in her bedroom, her armor and weapons were stripped off and put away safely. Her short hakama skirt was folded neatly and put away. Her two swords were laying up against the wall beside her vanity dresser that was opposite from her bed. After taking her hair down and removing her makeup and blood red real diamond jewelry, she went to her walk-in closet to find a comfortable black house kimono to change into. The house kimono she put on had a lovely red floral print on the sleeves and the short hem. Needing to stay at her castle for a couple days to plan for an undercover to stop Naraku, she would rejoin Sesshomaru and Jaken afterwards.
Late evening had finally come as the sun began setting in the sky. Usagi and her mate and husband Lord Izu were already back from handling some important business. Lady Tsukiyame was sitting on the back porch getting some fresh air. After all that has happened thus far, she needed some time to relax a little, before the undercover that would need to take place, in the netherworld. The beach she always goes to was behind the palace as she listened to the peaceful flowing waves of the ocean from afar with her superb hearing. The sun was barely in the sky. Nighttime would be coming soon enough.
After sitting outside for a bit and getting some fresh air, Lady Tsukiyame began to head back inside the palace. She had gone upstairs to her small office den and started sorting and reading through her mail. Any mail that needed a signature, she would sign and put it away in a separate pile, on her desk. Any important letters she received to read, she had read and put them away in another separate pile. All the mall that needed to be signed would need to be delivered back to the senders. Spending an hour going through and sorting her mail, she rises from her chair and leaves to go downstairs to the meeting room to prepare for a council meeting the next day.
"Tsukiyame!" Usagi called out, seeing her daughter walk down the hallway, downstairs. Lady Tsukiyame stopped and kept looking away as usual.
"I'm glad you're back safely," she said and asked, "How was the patrol? Did you find anything on our enemies?"
"The patrol was great," Lady Tsukiyame said and explained, turning to face her mother, "I still have not found anything on Jaakugou or the snake demon tribe. But I have gotten more information on Naraku's whereabouts and his newest plan to attack. I must start off by saying Naraku now has an army of demon samurai warriors, whom he had resurrected, that serve under him. They are the demon warriors that once served under the demon lord that ruled in the northeast, in the Axe Tiger centuries ago. With that said, Naraku plans to travel to the netherworld to attack the hell demon tribe and use them as bait to force me to relinquish my power and rulership, and lay claim over my lands. He also plans to dethrone Empress Jigo Yuu and lay claim over the netherworld and the underworld. He seeks to gain a crossover throne. The eastern lands, western lands, and the unworldly realms are what he is after."
"Wait," Usagi asked, "He also seeks to gain control over the western lands as well. The territory that belonged to and was ruled by the Great Dog Demon?"
"Yes," she nodded and continued, "Lord Sesshomaru is now the Lord of the Western Lands. Naraku had pursued him in attempt to dethrone him and take over his lands. We have encountered each other during my travels to search for Naraku and Jaakugou, and I have found out about this."
"Oh, I see," her mother said, "It's been two hundred years, since we have defeated the panther demons alongside him and his people. I had no idea Sesshomaru took his father's title as Lord of the Western Lands. It was probably after his father died."
"Yes, probably." Lady Tsukiyame commented.
Yes, it was true. The young lady half demoness' tribe fought alongside the Great Dog Demon to defeat an enemy. Two centuries ago, former lady Usagi and her army fought alongside Inu no Taisho and his army to defeat a troublesome tribe of panther demons. They had invaded both the western lands and the eastern lands. They tried to conquer both territories and subject all demons to the rule of their leader, the Panther King, whom they had defeated. Though, the two never met or spoke to each other, Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru had been among the armies of their people. Both tribes had joined together to stop this abominable effusion that was occurring in their territories.
It appears many enemies had been out for the kurai angel demon tribe's dark legendary power over the centuries of their beloved ladies ruling the queendom and eastern lands. From Jaakugou's vicious betrayal of their former lady Amaya to dethrone her and lay claim to their territory. To the Panther King invading both the eastern lands and the western lands to gain control over all demon kind. Now, the tribe's newest enemy, Naraku seeking to dethrone their beloved lady, Lady Tsukiyame and claim her queendom and lands as his own.
Still, Naraku and Jaakugou were the young lady half demoness' concern right now. She would settle the score with them accordingly and see to it that they never live to set foot into her territory and queendom ever again.
Usagi then asked, "Well was there anything else Lord Sesshomaru found on Naraku? If he is pursuing him, then surely, he must know more about his whereabouts, and how he can be tracked down."
"Seeing that the demon lord and myself are still trying to hunt Naraku down," Lady Tsukiyame answered, "Neither of us had enough information on him. But now, that I have learned of his new whereabouts, I can hunt him down and destroy him. However, before anything can be done, I will have to have a council meeting to inform everyone about Naraku's new plan to attack. I will also need to inform Empress Jigo Yuu about him, since her people will be involved."
"I see, well yes," her mother agreed and asked, "The other tribe members must be informed about what you found on Naraku. After you inform the others, are you going to leave and continue to travel alone to find Naraku and his new army and stop them, along with looking for Jaakugou? Or will you assemble a cooperative army to find them? Since Naraku had assembled an army that now serves under him, it may be best to assemble an army of our warriors to assist you in your battle with him."
Hoping she would decide the obvious, Usagi already knew what her daughter Lady Tsukiyame was going to do. She already had it in her mind to continue her solo travel to search for Jaakugou and put an end to Naraku and his army.
"I will continue my solo travels to hunt Jaakugou and Naraku down, along with his army, and destroy them." Lady Tsukiyame simply said.
'I will also be rejoining Lord Sesshomaru to search for him.' she thought to herself.
"Well," Usagi told her, "You still need to be careful Tsukiyame. As you already know, Jaakugou can be a tough opponent to take down. Naraku may also be the same way, too now that he had assembled an army."
"Yes, mother, I understand." Lady Tsukiyame said calmly.
The conversation then ended shortly afterwards as the young lady half demoness needed to prepare for the council meeting that she will have the next day. Usagi had gone back to her and Izu's room. Heading downstairs pass the kitchen and near the back porch, Lady Tsukiyame turned into the meeting room. Immediately, she started getting everything ready and prepared.

The next morning came and Lady Tsukiyame held a council meeting to discuss what she had found on Naraku. Her fellow tribe members had gathered around and sat to listen to their lady and leader as she spoke.
"The Lands of the East are still safe for now," Lady Tsukiyame began, "However, Naraku is still lurking around. He had assembled a new army of demon samurai warriors, whom he had resurrected in the netherworld and brought them back to the living world to serve under him. The army once served under a demon lord that ruled in the northeast, in the Axe Tiger centuries ago, before their death. His army could prove to be more troublesome as there seems to be no way to destroy them."
"An army," one kurai angel demon women asked, "Of how many men?"
"I would say one hundred." she answered.
"You say his army may be unable to be defeated," one kurai angel demon man inquired, "What would make you say that, my lady?"
Lady Tsukiyame then started to explain to the kurai angel demons at the council meeting that Naraku had synced the spiritual powers of his sacred holy scepter weapon to the power of the Sacred Shikon Jewel shards he possesses. It was done to keep them from touching him and taking him and his army out. Then they were informed about how he is using the spiritual powers of his weapon connected to the power of the sacred jewel shards that are embedded in the men's bodies to protect them and keep them from being struck down. Thus, allowing him and his army to not be defeated, so that he can not only continue his pursuit of personal power, but also his pursuit of supreme conquest. Now, they know about Naraku plan to gain a crossover throne and seeks to dethrone their beloved lady and claim the eastern lands as well as the western lands, and the unworldly realms as his domain. The young lady half demoness then moves on to discussing Naraku's newest plan to attack them, using the hell demon tribe as bait.
"Naraku plans to travel to the netherworld," Lady Tsukiyame informed, "To commit an assault on the hell demon tribe. The purpose for him doing so is to use them as bait to try and dethrone me as the lady, and lay claim over the eastern lands. He will also attempt to dethrone Empress Jigo Yuu and lay claim over the unworldly realms as well as the western lands. He seeks to gain a crossover throne."
"I never," another kurai angel demon woman said, "Thought this new enemy of ours would stoop this low to acquire power. Now, Naraku is going after Empress Jigo Yuu and intends to use the hell demon tribe to try and force you to relinquish your rulership, and force all of us into servitude under him."
"Yeah," another kurai angle demon woman interjected, "Why involve the hell demon tribe? Is this fool such a coward that he can't fight on his own. He needs to use our ally as bait to try and take us out."
"It is not hard to believe," she said clearly and candidly, "Naraku is not the type of opponent to confront his enemies on his own. Resorting to trickery and manipulating others into doing his dirty work is what the fool is about. Regardless, I will need to meet with Empress Jigo Yuu to inform her about Naraku. Then I will take my leave to hunt him down and stop him."
"So, what course of action should we take?" another kurai angel demon man asked.
"I will have a group of sentinels assembled to stand guard at the borders and observe the lands for any possible danger. Some men and women will be ordered to do land patrols for the time being, until I return to the palace. I must take my leave soon to stop Naraku and his army and deal with them accordingly."
"My lady," one kurai angel demon man asked, "Are you not going to assemble an army to assist you in the battle? Considering that Naraku now has an army of demon samurai warriors serving under him, and we still have Jaakugou and his tribe to deal with. I think a cooperative approach towards defeating them should be considered."
Her council meeting members hoped for their lady to consider assembling a cooperative army, rather than go battle with Naraku and Jaakugou alone. But as expected, she will be leaving to battle Naraku and his army on her own and put an end to them. She will also be doing solo travels to find Jaakugou and his tribe of snake demons to defeat them as well.
"That still leaves the problem with our other enemy Jaakugou," another kurai angel demon woman said, "And the snake demon tribe. Have you been able to find anything on his whereabouts?"
"Nothing has been found on Jaakugou," Lady Tsukiyame said clearly, "Or the snake demons, yet. I will have to continue my search to find him and the snake demon tribe."
Shortly afterwards, the council meeting came to an end with everybody leaving with their assigned tasks. Two people were instructed to inform the sentinels about assembling a group of sentinels to guard the borders and observe the lands for trouble or danger. And two more people were instructed to inform other warriors of the tribe about assembling a group to do patrols of the eastern lands, until Lady Tsukiyame makes her return to the palace. Lady Tsukiyame still needed to return to her companions Sesshomaru and Jaken to go undercover and stop Naraku.

Naraku is still lurking in the darkness to plot and plan his assault on the hell demon tribe, on the netherworld to get to his arch enemies Lady Tsukiyame and Sesshomaru. Look forward to the next chapter to see what happens.
