It seems that some of you have gotten the wrong idea. The Galactic Civil War has not yet reached Remnant. 'What do you mean it hasn't reached Remnant? Ruby was captured by the empire!' You might all be wondering, but let me remind you that Remnant is in the Unknown Regions of space, so sending a large-scale fleet to take over a planet that you know nothing about is a waste of manpower and resources. No, the forces that arrived are only a scout fleet, but fully armed for battle.
Either way, I'm glad so many of you left a review on this story. It means a lot to me, especially since I haven't been feeling good as of late, seasonal allergies and all that.
Now, onto the reviews.
Hamm1999: Can I put some original trilogy scenes? Buddy, I've planned on doing that well in advanced. It wouldn't be Star Wars without the original Trilogy playing a part in the series now would it. Plus, it will give me the chance to write some great dogfights.
42: Sadly, yes they have. While it is true that Stormtrooper armor is a piece of crap, its imperative to remember that there is an inquisitor with those troopers. Sadly, the man who killed those bandits was not Darth Malgus. That man did live three-thousand years ago so its possible he is dead. The real culprit is someone much more dangerous. Here's a hint: two red blades, but maybe I might bring in Darth Malgus if I can figure out how to make it so he isn't a withered old man.
Spartan-626: Trust me, like I have said in my profile there are many characters whose fates I wish to change, not just because I like them but because I think they deserve a better fate than how they died in canon. Now as for the Bad Batch, true they may have only been seen in four episodes but it has been confirmed that the Bad Batch will be getting their own series sometime next year on Disney Plus, which I have. I wish they would show the trailer for the series already. I love those guys. Clones or Stormtroopers, there is only one answer to that? You wait and see.
Sheploo: Yep, they are. But its not the full imperial navy.
Jack Smith1: Like I have already said, the Galactic Civil War has not come to Remnant. This is only a scout fleet.

Chapter 12: An Imperial Encounter
Normally a person would think that the person who be most concerned about the capture of someone would be their family. That is true, but when Galen heard that she was captured he immediately opted to take a gunship to the Xiao Long-Rose Home on the island of Patch west of Vale and the location of Signal Academy.
He would have gone alone, but once he explained the situation to Ozpin and the other Jedi, Ahsoka, Rex, Fordo and Alpha, along with Fives, Echo, Hardcase, Kix, Jesse and quickly decided to join him and were speeding across the water to Ruby's home, but only after Galen gave the scroll signals of Arthur, Weiss, Blake and March to Zett and Serra. Something was telling him that he was going to need both his team and the rest of Team RWBY.
Once the gunship touched down, Galen was 'attacked' by a small four-legged corgi with black, gray and white fur which for its size somehow tackled him to the ground. "Get off me." Galen demanded to the corgi who did so as the dog headed over to the man Galen assumed to be Ruby's father. "Are you Taiyang?" Galen asked.
"I am." Tai answered. "You better hope that my little girl is alright."
"Where's Yang?" Galen asked.
"I'm right here." Yang answered as she approached her home from behind, followed by an Imperial Stormtrooper. Immediately, Galen and the others trained their weapons on the Stormtrooper, but Yang quickly raised her hands. "Wait! He's not our enemy. He's the one who helped me escape those other guys wearing armor like him when I went to try and save Ruby on my own." She explained.
"Why would a Stormtrooper save someone he's about to kill?" Galen asked.
"Because I was lied to! I was lied to that my family was killed by a rouge Jedi when I was out delivering our first harvest. Reports said that my family didn't know they helping a 'rouge Jedi' who then killed my family after they patched him up. It took three squadrons of troopers to kill the Jedi, but my parents and little brother were killed. I wanted to do something to stop such a thing, so I joined the Empire when I was of age so I could prevent something like that from happening again. Later I found out that the so called 'rouge Jedi' was planning on leaving once he was healed but stayed behind when the Empire tried to kill my family." The trooper said sadly, tears coming from his eyes and clenching his fist. "I was only seven when the Clone Wars began and I had faith in the Jedi, so you can imagine my shock when they declared traitors and the Republic was turned into the Empire. The Empire I served; they slaughtered my family just to send a message to any other Jedi! I won't serve a government like that, especially when the one who killed my parents is here on this planet!"
"What's your name?" Rex asked, holstering his pistols.
"My designation is TK-417 of the Imperial Army. My real name is Jesdan Cornver, from Dantooine." The trooper answered. "I swore an oath to protect the people, not slaughter those who were only defending themselves from those who take what they want." Jesdan said.
"Well then, why don't you ditch that junk armor and get some real armor." Rex said, putting a hand on the troopers' shoulder. "If you want to fight for a true cause, then do it for the Republic that the Empire destroyed." Rex offered.
Jesdan thought for a moment before he accepted Rex's offer. Ditching his old armor, he was soon given a set of Phase 1 clone armor and a DC-15 blaster rifle. "Kid looks the part." Rex said.
"At least I can see out of this helmet then that old one." Jesden chimed in.
"Hey! Not to rain on the parade, but could someone tell me what the hell you guys are talking about? More importantly, how is this going to help us get Ruby back?!" Yang demanded. As she demanded, a gunship touched down and exiting the gunship were Weiss and the others along with several more troopers.
"You better have a good reason for bringing me here! I swear my father isn't going to…" An annoyed Weiss started before she noticed Ahsoka. "She's not a faunus, is she?"
"No. I'm a Togruta." Ahsoka answered.
"Well, orange skin is something you don't see every day." March stated.
"Its not something you'd ever see." Arthur chimed in.
"What about Ruby? What's going on? Why would anyone go after her?" Blake asked.
The Remnant natives turned to Galen and he could already sense that they wanted answers from him. Sighing, Galen told them everything, about the Jedi, the Sith, the force, the Republic, the Empire, the galaxy he called home, what he went through and how he came to Remnant. He left out the parts about Sienna and Summer. "Look, I don't care whether you guys want to believe me or not, but right now Ruby is in the hands of the Empire and I want to know why." Galen said before turning to Jesden. "Why is the Empire on Remnant?"
"I don't know the details myself. All I know is that we were under the command of a Pau'an named Conoy Zlen, an inquisitor and Admiral Leondar Black. They were given a mission by 'Lord' Vader." Jesden answered. "It came directly from the Emperor who assigned several squads of Purge Troopers to assist in the mission."
"Black's an admiral now!?" Alpha questioned aloud. "That slime ball saw our deaths as nothing more than a way to boost his rank. He's just like Krell, always leading the battles from the rear and sacrificing his men in reckless strategies and not even listening to us when we told him his plans were flawed."
"Sadly, he is and he's also a war criminal. He ordered an entire squadron of TIE fighters to destroy an entire convoy of wounded civilians trying to leave a battle between the Rebellion and Empire. Men, women and children were slaughtered without a second thought. He claimed that the transports were carrying 'terrorists' who only caught got in the battle after a stray shot from a Star Destroyers turbo lasers damaged their hyperdrives." Jesden answered.
"Great! We got to deal with a Clone Wars veteran now." Rex groaned.
"How many Star Destroys are we talking about?" Ahsoka asked.
"Six of them. But they aren't loaded with ground vehicles, just fighters and a few transports." Jesden answered again. "However, the ships hyperdrives and communications relays have damaged critically when we entered the system. I think some rebel spies managed to sabotage the ships, thanks to some intel I slipped them."
"Well that's one thing we don't have to worry about. Now where did they take Ruby?" Galen demanded.
"We… I mean the Empire set up an FOB on a nearby island. Its not large, but like I said, they didn't bring any armor but there's a lot of troopers guarding the place." Jesden answered before pulling a holoprojector from his old armor and activated it. "E-Webs, sniper towers and a lot of Stormtroopers. I don't think we're going to get in with the men we've got here." the former Stormtrooper admitted.
"I think I know a group that will help us." Rex said with a smile underneath his helmet. He then turned to Tai. "Mr. Xiao Long, I think its best that you stay here. I know your daughter is in enemy hands, but its too dangerous for you. I give you my word we'll get your daughter back." Rex assured.
"Alright. But if anything happens to her I'll never forgive any of you." Tai said.
"Come on, lets go. Ruby needs us." Galen said and boarded the gunship before turning to Serra. "Let Master Plo know about the ships in orbit and see if he can get some fighters up in the air. Tell Ozpin to keep the Vale military from scrambling or at the very least give us some support from this Galm team I've heard about." He said to the two Jedi.
"Got it." Both Jedi replied and quickly activated their commlinks informing both Ozpin and Plo Koon of the situation.
By the time the message was sent, Galen and the others were already on the island where the Imperials had set up shop but were waiting by the beach. "Why don't we just go in there and take them out? We've got more than enough firepower, plus two Jedi with us. They won't stand a chance." Yang asked in annoyance.
"Because we're going to improve our odds with several brothers who know how to get things done." Rex answered. Just as he finished, a tri-winged ship came down to the beach much to fast, forcing everyone to move out of the way. "As always, they know how to make an entrance." Rex said impressed as usual as the boarding ramp of the ship touched the sandy beach and out of the ship came the Bad Batch.
"The calvary has arrived!" Wrecker shouted at the top of his lungs after he removed his helmet, following Tech, Crosshair and Hunter towards the rest of the troopers. "Time to show you huntsmen and huntresses what we clones can do!" he said with a laugh.
"Who are these guys?" everybody aside from Galen asked.
"They are Clone Force 99. But we call them the Bad Batch. The defected clones with desirable genetic mutations. Wrecker here has greater strength rivaling that of a Wookie, Tech has a greater mental capacity and intelligence, Crosshair can hit a target from ten clicks away with his enhanced eyesight and marksmanship while Hunter has heightened sensory capabilities." Rex explained.
"So, they are black ops?" Arthur asked.
"More or less." Rex answered.
"Then let's get moving. The longer we stay here, the more time Ruby is in the hands of those bucketheads." Yang reminded the others.
"She's right. Let's get moving." Galen said in agreement and followed after Jesden who led them to a cliff overlooking the Imperial FOB. "Quite large for an FOB." Galen observed as Rex handed him a pair of microbinoculars. Jesden wasn't lying when he said that the empire didn't bring any armor, but there were however dozens of regular Stormtroopers, scout troopers, Shock Troopers and Jump Troopers all of whom were armed with the standard Imperial E-11 blaster rifle, E-11s sniper rifle, T21 light repeating blasters and Heavy Imperial Blasters. E-Web turrets were placed on key points of the bases outer permitter which he noticed were being repaired.
"Alright, we found the base so let's go get Ruby!" Yang said, eager to get her sister back and was about to jump into action when Rex stopped her. "What the hell are you doing?"
"You rush into battle without a plan, you'll get yourself killed. A full-frontal assault is not going to work." The 501st captain answered before he pointed out something that he noticed. "Those imps have just finished fixing up those turrets. You get spotted by one of those gunners they'll keep firing on your position and either keep you from moving or get a lucky shot and kill you. We need a plan."
While the others started to come up with a plan, aboard the Star Destroyer Forbidden, Imperial Admiral Leondar Black of the 6th fleet along with Conoy Zlen walked through the detention center of his flagship. A man of forty years old with black hair and red eyes with average skin, he hailed from the planet Alderaan and unlike his most of his planet believed in the Empire with a passion. When the Clone War erupted, Black was on Coruscant working as one of Bail Organa's bodyguards before he quit his position and joined the Republic navy.
He longed to be promoted to Admiral but the war came to an end when the Separatist leaders were killed by Lord Vader. Feeling his opportunity to have been stolen from him, Black was quick to join the new Imperial Navy and climbed the ranks until he reached his position of Admiral. Ruthless and merciless, Leondar was known throughout the Empire as a man who would shoot first and ask questions never. Such was the case in the Karthakk system when his group was conducting operations against several pirate groups. A group of civilian transports had entered the system and requested an escort to the nearest civilized planet, all they got was a barrage of turbo laser fire killing all those aboard the transports even after they transmitted the proper clearance codes. He later reported that the transports were owned by pirates who transporting military equipment to a terrorist group planning an attack on the Imperial capital.
As for Conoy, he was a former Jedi who joined the Dark Side when the temple was attacked in the last year of the war. When he became an inquisitor, he hunted down and slaughtered any surviving Jedi and those they came in contact with. Jesden's family was one such family and he manipulated the former Stormtrooper into joining the ranks of the corps. Strong in both the force and lightsaber combat, Conoy was given the task of eliminating Galen when his usefulness came to an end.
He never got the chance, but here above this planet with the shattered moon he sensed that the son of Kento Marek was still alive. "It appears the repairs to the hyperdrives is taking longer than expected. The rebels sabotage of our ships is concerning. Tell me, Admiral. What do you make of this planet?" the inquisitor asked the Admiral.
"It's a back-water planet with nothing of use to the Empire. Why Lord Vader sent us on this fool's errand is beyond me." The Admiral began before they stopped in front of one of the cells. "But… it is unwise to question Lord Vader's orders. I've seen what happens to those who defy his orders." He added, opening the cell where they did not find their 'guest'.
"How did she escape?" Black roared in rage. Conoy however sensed that their 'guest' was actually above them and he was proven right when Ruby dropped down from the ceiling and tried to jump the Admiral, only to feel some force wrap around her neck and started to choke her. "You little…." Black cursed and pulled out a blaster pistol and was prepared to shoot Ruby, by the Pau'an immediately stopped the admiral.
"Now, now Admiral. That is no way to treat a young lady." The inquisitor reminded the Admiral before releasing Ruby who gasped for breath. "I do apologize for the accommodations and the Admiral's attempt to destroy you my dear. But it would be wise for you to not try anything like this again."
"What do you want with me?" Ruby asked.
"Straight to the point, I like that." Conoy said impressed before he kneeled down and looked into Ruby's eyes. "Silver eyes, my people once told stories about those with silver eyes who lead the lives of warriors. Many of them were Jedi much like your friend… Galen Marek."
"How do you know about Galen?" Ruby asked.
"You'd be surprised at how much we know about your friend. Where he's from, who he is, what he's done." The inquisitor said. Before he could say anything else, the Admiral on the other hand walked up and slapped Ruby across the face.
"Listen well, little girl. You'll tell us everything about your planet, its technology and resources. Do this and I'm sure the emperor will reward you by making you one of his servants, perhaps even the representative for this planet."
"Admiral. That is no way to treat a lady, especially one who is strong in the force. With the right training and proper guidance, she'll make an excellent inquisitor." The Inquisitor stated and gestured for the Admiral to leave the cell with him. "We'll give you time to think this over my dear." The Pau'an said before leaving Ruby. "Admiral, I would remind you that such actions you took are ill advised. Especially against a young girl such as her. Remember, our second objective was to bring the silver eyed girl to the Emperor, alive."
Before the Admiral could make any form of protest, a transmission from the base on the planet told both of them that there were people coming to save Ruby.

"We're under attack! Attackers are several natives and several Clone Troopers. Troopers are identified as ARC Troopers from the 501st, Muunilinst 10 and…. Oh, damn it's the Bad Batch!" An officer shouted into his commlink before he was hit in the chest by blast from March's shotgun. "You scum! Attacking an Imperial Officer, you'll be killed for this." The officer snarled.
"You talk too much." March said ignoring the officer before he picked up the fallen officer's pistol before firing it at several Stormtroopers who started to fire at him. His shots took the troopers down with little effort while the shots from the Stormtroopers missed him. "These guys can't aim for crap." The Rabbit Faunus said.
"It's their helmets. The armor given to us Stormtroopers was meant to be not only superior to other forms of armor, but to be a form of phycological warfare if people saw them it would lower moral, especially of those fighting the empire." Jesden replied from behind a crate, peaking out for a few seconds and fired his new blaster downing a few of his former allies. "At least I can see better out of this thing." He stated.
"Focus on the battle." Arthur shouted to them, his gauntlet blades out as he charged towards the enemy forces who started to focus their fire on him, but to their surprise their shots didn't down the knight only damaged his aura a bit. Swinging his blades, Arthur slashed at the troopers, killing them without even a second thought. More troopers started to charge at him, firing at random and hoping that they would kill him. "You all wish to fight me, very well." Arthur said with a smirk and slashed apart any troopers that got even close to him. "A Knight must be willing to do whatever it takes to protect the innocent."
Rose smacked a Scout Trooper across the face with her saber before she pulled out her shotgun and fired at several Stormtroopers that charged at her. Much to her surprise, her shots didn't even take down the troopers. "These bastards have tough armor!" She cursed, firing her shotgun again until this time she managed to take down one of the troopers. The fallen trooper's blaster landed right by her location, knowing her weapons weren't going to cut it she quickly picked up the blaster and started to use her new weapon and fired back at the enemy troopers. "This will do." she said with a smile.
A group of Jump Troopers rocketed towards Yang, Blake and Weiss who had their hands full dealing several squads of Stormtroopers who were armed with the T21 light repeating blasters. They managed to take out the enemy troopers, but the Jump Troopers were quick to get behind the three members of Team RWBY and fired their heavy blasters at the three girls, forcing them to retreat behind cover. "Damn it! We need something that can take them out." Yang cursed.
"Are you saying that we should just kill them?" Blake asked in concern.
"Its either them or us and they attacked first. Besides, what choice to do we have?" Yang questioned.
"As much as I hate to say this, we may not have a choice." Weiss said in agreement. As they continued to bicker, the Jump Troopers and a group of Shock Troopers were quick to flank them from behind and immediately ordered the three girls to surrender.
Almost instantly, the imperial troopers were blasted from behind by Rex, Fives, Echo, Hardcase, Kix and Jesse with Ahsoka right by their side, deflecting blaster bolts back at the enemy troopers and occasionally slashing them across the chest. "Come on! We've got to keep moving! The Imps have a shuttle so that's got to be where your teammate is!" Rex shouted to the girls who immediately knew what they had to do.
Casting a glyph which increased her speed, Weiss skated along the ground picking up a fallen Imperial blaster rifle and fired it one handed taking a group of troopers before she casted another glyph, allowing her to jump into the air before she aimed her new blaster at one of the jump troopers and hit them in their jet-pack. The enemy jetpack then went out of control, sending the wearer crashing into the forest behind the base. "To save a life, you'll need to take a life." Weiss told herself.
Blake jumped and dashed across the battlefield with the Gambol Shroud in its pistol mode, firing at any trooper she came across, aiming for the gaps in between their armor as much as she could. With her targets incapacitated, she nearly left herself wide open to a Shock Troopers heavy blaster fire. The blaster bolts slammed right into Blake and the enemy trooper thought they had killed the cat Faunus, only to find that her body dispelled from the weapons fire. This left the trooper wide open for Blake to attack them from behind, this time she killed her opponent, using a fallen blaster pistol she acquired and unlike the time she spent in the White Fang, she didn't feel guilty about taking another person's life. "I'm nothing like him. I'm only doing this in self-defense." She said to herself.
A fiery uppercut from Yang's gauntlets slammed into the jaw of another officer, knocking the wind out of him before she launched several fiery blasts from her weapon which exploded directly in front of several troopers, sending them flying backwards before slamming her fists into the armor of another Stormtrooper who fired their blaster directly at Yang only to miss her and took out a few bits of her hair. "Don't. Touch. My. Hair!" she roared and charged towards the trooper who touched her hair and the troopers she had knocked down earlier who were getting back to their feet.
Getting back to their feet only got the troopers smacked down again or killed by Yang's attacks which were twice as deadly as before. Once the current threat was dealt with, Yang turned to the officer she had knocked down earlier and grabbed him by the collar of his uniform. "Where is my sister!?" Yang demanded.
Meanwhile, Galen through his lightsabers towards several scout troopers on top of one of the buildings the empire had set up, slashing them across the chest and sending them falling to their deaths. "Snipers are down! Move up!" Galen shouted to Fordo, Alpha and their men along with the Bad Batch who were pinned down by the fallen snipers. Rushing forwards blocking shot after shot with his weapons, Galen hacked weapons apart and slashed at any Stormtroopers that got in his path. He was showing no mercy. 'I won't let Summer down. I'll get Ruby back.' Galen thought to himself.
Behind him, Wrecker bashed his fists together and charged towards a shock trooper who had cut down several 'reg's with their heavy blaster rifle. "TIME TO UNLEASH THE WRECKING BALL!" Wrecker shouted with excitement and grabbed the enemy soldier by the leg, tossed them around like a rag doll before throwing them towards several other imperial troopers before he whipped out his custom DC-17 and blasted the troopers before they could get back up. "The wrecking ball has kicked ass yet again!" Wrecker chuckled before he was joined up with the others. "Come on!" he shouted to the others who followed him towards the battle.
Back with Galen, he slashed apart one of the Purge Troopers Jesden mentioned after using force lightning to stun the enemy unit before he sent another surge of force lightning towards several other purge troopers who were then quickly gunned down by an Arc-Trooper with a Z-6 rotary blaster attached to a power pack. "It never changes, they can't stop a Jedi." Galen said to himself before he spotted another Imperial Officer, this one cowering behind the boarding ramp of one of the Imperial Dropships that were stationed at the base.

Once the officer saw that he was not only facing Clone Troopers but a couple of Jedi, they were quick to hide behind the boarding ramp of the transport, hoping that the Jedi wouldn't find him. He was wrong. Looking from behind the ramp to see if the enemy had found him, the officer came face to face with Wrecker who grabbed him and threw him towards Galen. "Jedi traitor!" the officer spat at Galen.
Galen ignored the officer's words, and just looked to the officer. "You and your men took a girl I'm a friend of. She has silver eyes, black and red hair. What did you do with her?" Galen demanded.
"Go to hell!" the officer snarled before he felt the airflow in his throat becoming restricted and he started to gasp for breath.
"WHERE IS SHE!?" Galen demanded.
"She's…. on the…. Forbidden…. We... sent her up…. Hours ago." the officer gasped between breaths, his throat becoming more and more tighter than it already was.
"Galen stop it! He's not worth it!" Yang shouted. Galen looked to Yang and immediately released the officer from his grip. "Killing in the heat of battle is one thing, but this isn't right. You know it and I know it. What would Ruby say if she heard how you killed a man in cold blood?" Yang asked.
Deep down, Galen knew that Yang was right. Ruby saw him as a friend and the last thing he wanted was for Ruby to see him as a murderer and destroy that friendship.
As for the officer, they were quick to pull out their pistol and would have fired at one of the Remnant natives had it not been for hunter throwing his knife into the officer's body, killing him. "What? He was going to shoot you." Hunter said calmly when the others looked at him.
Before anyone could say anything, the air soon became filled with the deafening noise of dozens of twin ion engines. "Incoming!" Rex called out as TIE fighters broke through the clouds, heading right towards them.
"Take cover!" Galen shouted as the imperial fighters streaked towards them firing their twin cannons. "That's all we needed. That officer must have called for air support!" Galen snarled as the fighters pulled up from their attack run.
"Tell me you guys have a rocket launcher?" Blake asked Hardcase who was readying his Z-6 rotary cannon.
"Nope! We didn't think we'd be dealing with enemy fighters so we only brought small arms. Rotary cannons could take them down, but it would take a while to take them down." Hardcase admitted before he glanced towards the building that was the imperial armory. "I think its safe to say that they might have some rocket launchers in there. Cover me!" he shouted and dropped his blaster cannon, dashing for the armory.
Some of the TIE fighters managed to circle around and came in for another pass, firing their cannons as Hardcase ran into the armory and moments came out later with an Imperial rocket launcher. "Back blast clear!" Hardcase shouted before taking aim with his launcher and fired. The rocket streaked towards its intended target, but missed. The next rocket made its mark and destroyed the fighter it slammed into. "That's got them. But we're going to need more than just a single rocket launcher." Hardcase stated.
His statement was soon answered. As the TIE fighters came in for another pass, a volley of missiles and cannon fire destroyed several fighters and forced the others to scatter. The source of the cannon fire was a formation of ARC-170's, Z-95 Headhunters, Y-Wings and V-Wings led by one Delta 7B Jedi-Starfighter and one of the few surviving original Delta 7 Jedi starfighters, piloted by Plo Koon while the other was piloted by Kit Fisto.
As for the missiles, they came from the F15 Dagger. A single seat, twin-engine, all weather tactical fighter, the Dagger is the primary air-to-air combat fighter of the Vale Air force. A top speed of Mach 2.5, the Dagger was far faster than the TIE fighter. For weapons the Dagger carried eleven hard points of missiles and two internal 20mm cannons each of which carried a total of twelve-hundred rounds. Eight of the Daggers had the standard Vale air force blue/gray camouflage but the last two of the Daggers were unique. One of the Daggers had a grey body and bright red starboard wing while the second Dagger had a grey fuselage, dark blue wings and vertical stabilizers, these were the fighters of the Galm team.
In the cockpit of the red winged fighter, Larry Foulke callsign 'Solo Wing Pixy' kept his eyes glued to the radar at the number of enemy fighters. A man of twenty-eight years old with brown hair and brown eyes, Larry had flown numerous combat missions as mercenary before he and his wingman Aaron Onyx, better known as Cipher were approached by the Vale council to not only to train future pilots but to also handle the recent increase in attacks by unknown fighters. "Galm Team to Strider 1, Wolf-Leader and Cyclops 1, bogies are attacking the students down below. I recommend we keep the fighters occupied so the students and soldiers can get that transport running." Pixy said into the commlink he was given by Plo Koon. As with Strider and Cyclops squadrons, they were also given commlinks to communicate with the fighters from space.
"Cyclops 1 copies." Eric Steff, callsign Wiseman acknowledged.
"Strider 1 copies." Minna Carmine, callsign Blaze acknowledged.
"Understood. Galm team, Wolf-Pack accelerate to attack speed and engage those fighters. Galen, get that transport online and use it to get Miss Rose back. We'll cover you." The Kel Dor Jedi Master said into the commlink from the cockpit of his own fighter before downing an Imperial fighter with his twin cannons.
"You sure you guys can handle these fighters?" Cipher asked.
"We've had more than our experiences in aerial combat." Kit assured the Aaron. "Though our opponents may have been droids, we must still be aware of our enemies." He added.
"Galm 1 copies." Cipher acknowledged before he turned to his wingman. "Time to dive into the fireworks." He said to Pixy before rolling over and diving straight towards the enemy fighters.
(Fighter, Ace Combat Assault Horizon Ost starts)
Diving down from twelve o'clock high, Cipher and Pixy acquired a missile lock on a pair of TIE's and fired. The missiles streaked towards the enemy fighters, their pilots desperately trying to shake the missile lock but failed and both enemy fighters became fireballs that crashed into the ground below, miles away from the FOB. "Pixy, check your six! You've got bogies on your tail!" Cipher called out.
Sure enough, Cipher was right. A group of three TIE fighters had decided to take it upon themselves to go after Solo Wing, firing their twin cannons at Larry who zig-zagged and performed a series of evasive maneuvers avoiding the green cannon bolts. "These guys have no idea who they are dealing with." Larry chuckled to himself, pulling his fighter into a loop getting behind the enemy fighters before he pressed the fire button, sending another of his missiles straight into the rear of one enemy fighter before downing a second with his guns. The last enemy fighter tried to shake his opponents lock, but in the end was killed by the cannon fire from Warthog in his Z-95. "Nice shooting." Pixy said to the clone pilot who pulled off and headed for another pair of enemy fighters. "Hey buddy, you still alive?" he called out to Cipher.
"I'm still alive Galm 2." Cipher responded, downing an enemy fighter that was on Strider 3's tail with a single missile. "That's another kill for me." Breaking away from his ally, Cipher spotted an ARC-170 with several enemy fighters on its tail. Pushing his twin engines to full power, catching up with the enemy TIE fighters and acquired a missile lock on one enemy fighter. Firing the missile, Aaron didn't wait to see if the missile managed to connect before he turned to another enemy fighter, switched to his guns and fired. A quick three round burst of standard high-explosive rounds shredded the fighter to bits allowing the ARC pilot to cut his speed and down the last fighter with their twin cannons. "Splash two fighters. That brings my total up to four." Cipher confirmed.
"Four? We're still tied." Pixy chuckled over his Daggers communications system before forming up with Cipher and headed after a formation of enemy fighters that were targeting the transport that Galen and the others had gotten into the air. "Seems we've got some fighters going for the kids. We still have plenty of missiles and ammo, but we need to keep a close eye on them."
"Well if that's the case, we better give those kids some help." Cipher said in agreement before they checked on the Strider and Cyclops squadrons who confirmed that they could handle themselves for the moment. "Time to show them what happens when they mess with Galm." Cipher said with a grin and acquired a lock on one fighter and fired. Pixy followed suit with a missile of his own and two enemy fighters became fireballs that crashed into the ocean.
Both Dagger pilots soon pulled away from the enemy fighters, giving the TIE pilots the illusion that the enemy fighters had either run out of ammo for their 'slug-throwers' or suffered a malfunction to their weapons systems. They were wrong as both Galm pilots streaked from the left and right, raking the enemy fighters with cannon fire, giving each of them four more kills. "Galm Team to shuttle, we'll hang back and take on the enemy fighters down on the surface. You guys just show these bastards what happens when you barge into someone else's home." Cipher called out.
"This Galen Marek, leader of Team GARM, thanks for the support. Just watch yourselves, TIE fighters might be easy to eliminate but if they swarm you, they'll take you down in seconds." Galen advised the two fighter pilots.
"Galm Team copies." Cipher acknowledged before he and Pixy veered back towards the ongoing aerial brawl below them. Both pilots acquired missile locks on two fighters each and launched four missiles, one to each of their two targets before getting behind another pair of fighters. Leading the targets into their gunsights, their 20mm's roared to life riddling their enemies with bullet holes and sending them to their death. "Galm 1 to allied craft, we're low on ammo. We're RTB and will be back as soon as possible." Cipher called out.
"Green leader to Galm Team. We'll handle the fighters until you've returned. Wolf-Pack, Shadow Squadron, Blue Squadron and Red Squadron are moving to assist Galen, Ahsoka and the others." Kit said over the commlink as he formed up with his squadron and continued to engage the enemy fighters.
Unfortunately for the Galm Team it wasn't going to be an easy return to base. Several enemy fighters had broken off from the main force and were chasing after Galm Team. Weaving in between enemy cannon fire, Cipher and Pixy continued to maintain their course back to base but both of them knew that if the enemy fighters found the base, they would attack it and stop the other fighters from returning to resupply. "You know what to do buddy." Cipher said to Pixy and rocked his wings. Pixy saw the rocking of his wingman's wings and both planes crisscrossed each other's paths getting on the enemy fighter's flanks and racked them with cannon fire. Six fighters were reduced to scrap before both planes headed back for base.

While the Galm Team returned to base for resupply, the captured Sentinel landing craft ascended from Remnants atmosphere followed by Wolf-Pack, Shadow, blue and red squadrons as before several more LAAT's belonging to Commander Bacara and several squads of Galactic marines joined them. The Remnant natives found themselves in a state of shock as they for the first time were in space. "We're in space." Rose muttered in awe before she spotted the enemy ships.
On the bridge of the Forbidden, Admiral Black and Conoy had spotted the incoming ships. While their ships hyperdrives were damaged from the rebel sabotage, the remaining systems such as life-support and weapons were operational except for their turbo lasers and ion cannons. "It appears that we may have some remnants of the Republic military still around." Black said with a smirk. "Time to show them that their time has passed. Order the other ships to deploy every-single one of their fighters. Hold nothing back." The admiral said before he turned to the Inquisitor. "They will be dealt with quickly. We have nothing to worry about." He assured.
"I disagree, Admiral. I sense that these individuals are very determined to rescue their friend." The Conoy said in disagreement before he pressed a button on one of the terminals on the bridge. "All troopers are to prepare to repel enemy borders. I say again, prepare to repel enemy boarders." The inquisitor said over the ships systems. The inquisitor then looked towards the Admiral. "I sense several Jedi approaching our fleet. I will deal with the Jedi, personally." He added before walking off the bridge to deal with the impending intruders.
While the TIE fighters from enemy ships launched from the hangers, the Stormtroopers who were still onboard the Forbidden grabbed E-11's, DLT-19's, DLT-20's, light and heavy repeating blasters and took up positions along the hallways and in the main hanger of the forbidden while Scout Troopers took up positions on the catwalks in the hanger with their sniper rifles aimed and at the ready. Galen sensed the movement of enemy troops as the captured shuttle got closer and closer to the main hanger. "They're waiting for us. This is going to be a difficult fight." he said.
"That's not helping." March said, tapping his feet rapidly as the ship entered hanger. "We're only six students, one of who is some kind of mystical warrior from another galaxy, another mystical warrior who's an alien and could pass as a rare type of Faunus, a defector, numerous special forces troopers and me." He stated. "Wait don't count me."
"Let me secure the hanger." Galen assured the Rabbit Faunus. "I'll clear the hanger so we the gunships can land. They're keeping a safe distance, so they won't get blasted into space dust." He added, heading towards the landing ramp of the shuttle.
"You're crazy you know that?" Hunter said to Galen. "I like that. We'll give you some help. Besides, it's not our style to wait for the enemy to come to us. We prefer going straight to the enemy." He added before turning to Wrecker, Crosshair and Tech who nodded in agreement.
The captured shuttle soon touched down on the hanger floor and the boarding ramp dropped down. Rather than waiting for any signs of the enemy, the Stormtroopers opened fired with their weapons without a moment's hesitation. A couple of thermal detonators were thrown as well, exploding as an officer from behind one of the troopers watched with satisfaction. "Cease fire!" the officer shouted after five minutes of continued shooting. The troopers held their fire as instructed and waited for the smoke to clear.
To their surprise, they didn't kill anyone as Galen and the Bad Batch stepped out of the shuttle and looked towards the enemy troopers. Igniting his lightsabers, Galen made it clear that he was a Jedi as the Bad Batch readied their weapons. With narrowed eyes, Galen dashed forwards while the Bad Batch began to spread out firing their weapons at the Stormtroopers before they started to fire back.
(Indestructible starts)
"Jedi! Shoot him!" the officer shouted, firing his pistol in fear. Galen was quick to deflect blaster bolts either back towards the enemy or away from his direction. Picking up the pace, Galen sprinted towards several troopers with heavy blaster rifles blocking each shot before slashing the enemy troopers across the torso without holding anything back. Trooper after trooper fell to his dual blue and green blades, severing arms and legs without a care. Some troopers tried to hit him with the butt of their blaster rifles when they got close, but all they got was a blast of force energy knocking them down or killing them.
"Focus your fire on the Jedi. Overwhelm him with our superior firepower!" The officer shouted from behind cover before one of the scout troopers on the catwalk fell to the hanger floor, courtesy of Crosshair who quickly downed the other snipers. "Someone, kill those rejects!" the officer shouted in anger, firing their pistol at the clone sniper who was quick to take cover.
Tech lowered the visor on his helmet before he calculated the trajectory for Hunter, who then threw a few thermal detonators at several Stormtroopers armed with DLT-19 heavy blasters who were keeping them pinned down. The detonators killed the stormtroopers with their powerful blast allowing both commandos to move up, firing their DC-17 pistols at any enemy who got in their way.
Wrecker grabbed the leg of a Stormtrooper and tossed them towards several other enemy troopers who were than crushed when Galen dropped the catwalk on them. "That's showing them!" Wrecker shouted with excitement, pulling out his knife and threw it towards one Stormtrooper which hit the trooper in the helmet, breaking the plastoid material and killed him. Picking up a supply crate, Wrecker used the crate as a makeshift blast shield, blocking enemy fire while firing his DC-17 ICWS blindly, downing trooper after trooper with deadly accuracy. Pumping his legs, Wrecker surged forwards and slammed his makeshift shield into a couple of Stormtroopers, crushing them before he threw the shield towards several more troopers, knocking them down. "You can't stop the wrecking ball!" he proclaimed before he went back.
By now, Rex, Ahsoka, Fordo and Alpha along with the natives from Remnant couldn't sit back and let them 'hog all the fun' and stepped out of the transport as the gunships carrying the Galactic Marines and Bacara landed and quickly joined the battle. "Fight like clones!" one marine shouted before taking a blaster bolt to the chest, killing them instantly. The carbine the clone carried skidded over towards Bacara who picked it up and started to fire both carbines at the imperial troopers, giving March the chance to fire his pistol at the enemy.
"Hey, be honest with me, Bacara was it? Are you one of those who gets nervous in battle?" March asked the commander. Bacara answered with his actions. Firing his carbines at the enemy, the Clone marine moved towards a supply crate and hunkered down before he moved once more to another supply crate for cover. As he moved, a lucky shot from a Stormtrooper slammed into his second carbine, destroying it but that didn't bother him one bit. Taking cover behind the new piece of cover, the commander primed a grenade and lobbed it towards several enemy troopers with heavy blaster's, killing them.
"Does that answer your question?" Bacara asked as March joined him.
Casting a glyph to increase her speed, Weiss skated along the hanger floor firing her borrowed blaster at the stormtroopers. Zigzagging between enemy shots, Weiss managed to get behind the enemy troopers and took out a good number of them before casting another glyph which increased her speed just in time, speeding away from the enemy soldiers as a grenade thrown by Alpha landed by the troopers and killed them.
"We need to take control of those catwalks!" Rex shouted, firing his trusty pistols back at the enemy. "Fives, Echo, Hardcase, Jesse, Kix. Take some men and secure them. Take Rose and Blondie with you!" he shouted. The troopers nodded and were quick to move up towards one of the other hanger doors with Yang and Rose following them. Several clones were cut down by enemy weapons fire, only for their deaths to be avenged by several explosive blast's courtesy of Yang.
"No jokes? You must be finally taking this seriously." Rose quipped to Yang, firing her captured enemy blaster rifle.
"My sister's life is at stake, so this isn't the time or place for jokes." Yang snapped.
"Fair enough." Rose agreed.
"Come on, let's move it!" Jesse said to the two girls. Once they reached the catwalks, the Arc-troopers plus two students from Beacon caught the enemy by surprise and quickly took control of the catwalks. Quickly, the Arc Troopers plus the two students began to pick off the enemy soldiers one by one with precise shots.
Back below, Arthur and Blake stood back-to-back with the Gambol Shroud and gauntlet blades out and began to lock-blades with several Stormtroopers armed with electrostaffs. Blocking the staffs with their blades, Arthur and Blake used their superior skills to quickly dispatch the troopers but more of them started to arrive. "Blake, go help Ahsoka. I'll deal with them." Arthur said to Blake. Blake wanted to protest, but deep down she knew that Arthur was right and dashed off to assist Ahsoka who was pinned down by several heavy blaster wielding troopers.
Turning back to his opponents, Arthur's battle mask snapped in place, and he flipped his blades back into his gauntlets before he drew his sword. "Ordinarily I would only draw Excalibur on worthy opponents, but in this case, I'll make an exception. I'll take you all on!" he shouted and charged towards the troopers.
Parrying the staff of one trooper, Arthur slashed a trooper across the chest before tossing his sword into the air, catching it in his left hand before he fired his right gauntlets gun. More troopers attacked the knight, but a use of hand-to-hand and swordsmanship taught to him by his father, Arthur was able to take them down before sheathing his sword and leapt into the air, firing his gauntlet guns loaded up with explosive dust rounds, killing several more troopers.
"Well, that was very impressive boy." Another trooper, this one a riot stormtrooper said from behind their staff crackling with electricity.
"It was. Now you know how serious I am." Arthur answered. "Give us Ruby." He demanded.
"Never! The riot trooper shouted and charged towards Arthur.
"You are brave, but foolish." Arthur said bluntly, letting the trooper get closer and closer to him. Just when the enemy trooper got close and raised his staff, Arthur blocked it with his right gauntlet and quickly drew his sword and slashed at the trooper three times before he jumped up, kicked the trooper in the chest and slashed the trooper right down the middle. "I'll take you all on!" he shouted.

'Guy's got some serious moves. I'll give him that much.' Galen said to himself, cutting down several troopers with his blue and green blades. Blaster fire sent towards him from the few remaining troopers was deflected right back at the shooters before he grabbed the officer who was trying to run away in fear. Thankfully, Tech was able to get control of the ships systems and was quick to lock the door, preventing the officer from escaping. Reaching out with the force, Galen pulled the trooper towards him. "WHERE IS SHE!?" Galen demanded.
"She's in the detention block. I swear that's all I know!" the officer shouted before Galen tossed him away, hitting the wall with a hard blow, that it killed them.
"Bacara, you and men hold the hanger. We'll need an escape route. Fordo, Alpha, Rex, Hardcase, Jesse, Echo, Fives, Kix, Wrecker, Hunter, Crosshair, Jesden, Tech you're with me. Tech, plot us a path to the prison cells. One that avoids any heavy opposition." He instructed the troopers before turning to his friends and teammates. "Rose, March, Arthur stay here and give the commander some support. Blake, Yang, Weiss you're with me and the others. Let's get Ruby back." he added.
"I'm going with you." Ahsoka said. "She's not going to believe that you're from another galaxy unless you have some proof." She added.
"She's got a point." Weiss said in agreement. Galen agreed and his group exited the hanger.
Meanwhile outside the ships, Y-Wings of Shadow Squadron launched a volley of proton torpedoes at one of the other Imperial Star Destroyers, draining the shields of the ship before a torpedo fired by Broadside slammed into the ships bridge, destroying it and killing all those aboard. "That's one Venator knock-off down. Let's move onto the next one." Broadside said over an open channel to the other Y-Wing pilots before they veered away towards another enemy ship and were prepared to give it the same fate as the other one. Even before they got in range, the second enemy ships turbo laser cannons and point defense cannons started to bracket the clone pilots. One Y-Wing was shot down, but the valiant pilot went out in a blaze of glory ramming his craft into the bridge of the second ship while firing his fighters nose cannons. "Give them hell boys! Show them what real piloting is like." Broadside said to the others, encouraging his brothers to not give in one bit.
Underneath his mask, Plo smiled before he downed his fifth TIE fighter of the day, having heard what Broadside said over the commlink. "These Imperial fighters are deadly in squadrons, but a single fighter is not that hard to destroy." He noted as a barrage of cannon fire streaked from behind him. Craning his neck, he noticed that he had picked up a few TIE fighters on his tail. Pushing his fighter's engines to full-power, Plo zig-zagged through the wreckage of the first wrecked enemy ship before he shut down his systems allowing the TIE fighters pass him before he turned the power back on and downed the enemy fighters before they could have a chance to react.
Other pilots continued to engage the enemy fighter's while the bombers continued to take out the enemy ships until only the Forbidden remained. "Wolf Leader to all fighters, continue to engage the enemy fighters. We've got to give the men inside more time." he said into the commlink before downing another TIE fighter.
Back inside the Forbidden's corridors, Stormtroopers exchanged fire with Galen and the others. Pinned down by a squad of troopers with a fully assembled E-Web turret that was maintain suppressing fire on the group. "We need that gun taken out!" Galen shouted. No sooner had he finished shouting, Wrecker grabbed a piece of the wall and with all his strength ripped the wall section off before the large bulky clone threw it towards the troopers on the gun, destroying both the turret and killing the troopers operating the weapon. "Well, that's one way to take out a turret." Galen said, still amazed by Wreckers strength before Tech plotted their new route to the prison cells.
They didn't encounter much resistance before they finally reached the prison block. "Find out which cell Ruby's in and quickly!" Galen said to Tech.
"This won't take long." Tech answered and began to decipher the data in the terminal. As he did, Jesden handed Galen Crescent Rose which Galen knew Ruby would be happy to have her weapon back. "Got it! She's in cell number 2022." Tech announced.
"Stay here and keep any Stormtroopers from getting in. We'll be back with Ruby shortly." Galen instructed the troopers.
"You got it, kid. We'll hold this area." Hunter said in agreement and the others took up defensive positions, readying their weapons. Except for Rex and Ahsoka who volunteered to accompany Galen and the others to Ruby's cell.
They didn't get very far before encountering several Imperial Navy Troopers and Imperial Navy Commandos who were guarding the prison cells and a firefight soon began. Galen started to deflect blaster fire alongside Ahsoka as Rex, Yang, Weiss and Blake took cover and began to exchange fire with the imperials.
From her cell, Ruby heard the blaster fire and right away knew that someone was here to rescue her. "I knew they'd come for me." She said to herself.
Back outside her cells, Galen ran towards the troopers, blocking their shots before he ran along the wall and got behind the imperial troopers and proceeded to cut them down with his dual blades. This forced some of the troopers to turn their attention towards Galen, leaving the others wide open for the others to take them down with their weapons. By the time the last of the enemy personal were killed, both Galen and Ahsoka sensed something strong in the dark side of the force. "We need to get out of here quickly." Ahsoka said to Galen.
"I know, I sensed it to." Galen responded and headed towards Ruby's cell. "Ruby, if you can hear me, stand clear of the door!" he shouted and cut through the door.
Ruby heard Galen's voice and stood clear of the door as a blue blade melted through the metal and Galen came into view. "Ruby!" Both Galen and Yang shouted.
"Yang! Galen!" Ruby shouted back and hugged her half-sister. "I'm so sorry. It's my own fault I got captured. I let my guard down and I…" Ruby began before Yang hugged her a little more tightly.
"No, it's my fault. I should have suggested that we go back the moment we saw those guys in white." Yang told her sister.
"It doesn't matter who's fault it was. What matters right now is that Ruby is safe, and we can get off this damn ship!" Galen said to the two sisters. "Here, you're going to want this back." he added handing Ruby her scythe back.
"Thanks, Galen." Ruby said before she noticed Rex and Ahsoka. "Who are they?" she asked.
"They'll be time for answers later. Let's get out of here." Rex said before he contacted the others that they had rescued Ruby and were heading back to the hanger. "Come on kid, let's get out of here and maybe you might be able to help us with the weapons of a few new vehicles." He added. Well, naturally the moment Ruby heard the word weapons, she perked up and unfolded her scythe and followed the others back to where Fordo and the others had taken down a third Imperial platoon that was trying to stop them.
No sooner had they started to leave the prison cells, the ran right into the Conoy who was waiting for them with his lightsaber in hand. "So, you are still alive Ahsoka. I must admit, a part of me was hoping that you had indeed survived. Now I can finish the job that Barriss started all those years ago." he said with a sadistic smile.
"Conoy Zlen? Don't tell me you gave your loyalty to the Empire?" Ahsoka demanded.
"Yes, I did. The Jedi were holding me back and now I am more powerful than Master's Yoda and Skywalker combined." he answered before he noticed Galen and the others. "And I see that you brought some friends. Oh, Captain Rex how the mighty have fallen. Had you not removed your inhibitor chip you could have trained newer soldiers for battle against our enemies."
"Save it! I'll never join the Empire!" Rex spat. "My loyalty is and always will belong to the Republic and the Jedi. Not to some dictatorship that's enslaving the very galaxy we fought for only to be ruled by a liar!"
"You better have a good reason for trying to take my sister from me and our home!" Yang demanded, raising her borrowed blaster before Jesden stopped her.
"Now this is a surprise, Jesden Cornver. I had wondered why you didn't return to base after we captured the girl. I take it that you have had a change of heart or is it that you have learned the truth that I was the one who killed your family?" the Pau'an said with a smirk.
The words from the Inquisitor hit Jesden hard. The man who murdered his family was not only a former Jedi but was right in front of him the whole time. In a fit of rage, he raised his blaster and fired at Pau'an only for his shots to be deflected back and hitting him in the right arm and leg. "You scum!" Jesden growled in pain.
"This is what happens to those who betray the Empire. But you are not my target. You, Galen Marek are my target." He stated, turning to Galen who had his eyes narrowed. "I'll allow the rest of you to leave with the traitor, but you Starkiller, you are not going anywhere." He said and ignited his lightsabers blood red blade.
"Rex, take the others and get out of here. I'll take care of this former Jedi." Galen instructed the former 501st captain who nodded while Weiss and Blake picked up Jesden and carried him towards the hanger, leaving Galen alone with Conoy who then sent a torrent of lightning towards the panel for the blast doors, cutting them off from others. "There is more to your mission, isn't there?" Galen asked.
(Jango's Escape starts)
The Pau'an just smiled before lunging at Galen with his lightsaber ready to kill him. Galen however was quick to bring out his own saber and countered the attack with a form IV slash, aimed directly towards his opponent's legs. Conoy leapt behind Galen before he called on the force, ripped several panels off the wall and sent them flying towards Galen.
Galen was quick to dodge the panels but not quick enough to counter Conoy from dashing close to him and send him flying with a strong blast of the force. "If this is the best of your abilities you must have obviously found to warrant such discipline." Conoy said with a smirk.
"I'm not the person I used to be!" Galen snarled and swung his saber at his opponent who blocked each and every attack. "You're good, I'll give you that much. But you're nothing compared to those like Kota and Ti." He stated, this time landing a hit on his opponent.
"Is that so," the Pau'an stated before he threw his saber towards Galen who managed to roll out of the way before the red blade could take his head off. "Well then, it pleases me that I will be the one to defeat you. Then I'll take the girl before Lord Vader and, well I'm sure you can guess what will happen to her."
Well, hearing someone threaten Ruby made Galen more determined to defeat his opponent. Reaching out with the force, Galen grabbed Conoy and threw him so hard that the Pau'an crashed through the wall behind him and ended up in the reactor room of the Star Destroyer. "That's the spirit. I want to defeat you at your best and if you are going all out," he began before igniting his lightsabers secondary blade revealing it to be a double-bladed lightsaber. "Then it's only fair that I do the same." He smirked before charging towards Galen.
With little room to maneuver, both opponents were limited in their defensive and offensive options. Conoy knew this and utilized several Vaapad strikes putting Galen on the defensive before landing a hard kick to Galen's stomach, knocking the wind out of Galen for a few brief seconds before he regained himself. Quickly, Galen got his second wind before he attacked his foe again, this time with a series of Form V attacks. Conoy was not only quick to counter Galen's attack but managed to push Galen back into a control panel, knocking the wind out of him again and deactivating his lightsabers.
"It seems that your skills are not as powerful as Lord Vader told me." Conoy said disappointed. "No matter, in the end you'll join the Jedi before you in death." Conoy said, raising his lightsaber ready to deliver the final blow.

Before he could deliver the final blow, a gunshot rang out from behind forcing the Inquisitor to turn around and slash the bullets apart. To both his and Galen's surprise, the shooter was Ruby her scythe embedded into the walkway and barrel smoking. "So, the silver eyed girl wishes to return and save her friend. Very well if that's the way you wish to die, I'll be happy to oblige." Conoy said and threw his lightsaber towards Ruby.
Ruby was quick to use her semblance and vanished into rose petals before emerging in front of Galen. "I won't let you hurt my friend!" Ruby declared and picked up Galen's green lightsaber after storing her scythe behind her back.
"Oh, I don't mean to hurt him. I mean to kill him." Conoy clarified. "You still don't know anything about your friend, do you? He's a killer. He's killed numerous people in cold blood without even a hint of mercy, attacked the military of the government he was working in secret to protect from traitors such as Tano and even formed an alliance of terrorists to bring down said government and yet you still defend him? Why would you defend him?"
"Because he's my friend!" Ruby answered. "It's true, I don't know much about him or where he comes from, but he's not the person you say he is. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't the kind of person you claim him to be, but he's my friend and I won't let you hurt my friends!" she declared and ignited the lightsaber she was holding.
"If that's what you want to believe, then you can take your beliefs to your death!" Conoy snarled and dashed towards Ruby, locking blades with the young girl who was trying her best to counter her foe's attacks. Even without any lightsaber training, Galen was amazed to see Ruby holding her own against one trained in the Jedi arts.
Conoy was not impressed and kept clashing his blade with Ruby who continued to counter before his opponent used their semblance and got behind him, landing a hard kick to the Pau'an's back. "Now this is impressive. You would make quite the gifted assassin, with the right training." Conoy said impressed.
"I'll never join you!" Ruby declared before her opponent slammed the butt of his blade into her jaw, forcing her to drop her borrowed weapon before she was kicked off her feet and hung dangerously over the side of the walkway.
"It seems that this is the end for you, my dear. Be sure to tell the other Jedi who it was that killed you." Conoy said with a sadistic grin and raised his blade. Before he could even land the final blow, the lightsaber that Ruby had borrowed was pulled through the air and returned to Galen who ignited it and his blue blade.
"I. Won't. Let. You. KILL HER!" Galen roared.
(Yoda vs Dooku starts)
Holding both his blades in his preferred grip, Galen attacked Conoy with a series of powerful of Jar'Kai strikes, putting the Inquisitor on the defensive before leaping behind his opponent and forcing the Pau'an to ignite his sabers secondary blade.
Galen didn't let up for a moment and continued to attack Conoy with the ferocity of a wild and rabid animal before he broke his opponents Lightsaber down the middle, leaving him with only one blade. The secondary blade still ignited fell down to one of the reactor generators which caught fire and started a chain reaction. This in turn revealed Conoy's fear allowing Galen to sever his foe's saber hold hand before an explosion caused the fallen Jedi to fall over the edge, holding on with his only remaining hand.

"Do it. Kill me. It's your right as the victor to kill the opponent." Conoy said, trying to goad Galen into killing him.
"No. That's not who I am anymore. I won't kill an unarmed opponent." He answered deactivating his lightsabers and rushed to pull Ruby up to the walkway. Conoy just chuckled before he lost his grip and fell into the fire below while Galen turned to Ruby. "I don't know why you came back for me, but thanks for the help. Now let's get out of here. I'll tell you everything when we get off the ship." Galen said to Ruby who nodded and followed Galen to the hanger.
Back on the bridge, Admiral Black and the bridge crew noticed that the reactor was going critical, and it would be about eight minutes before the ship exploded. Having already scanned the topography of the planet, Black decided that in order to show the people of this planet the power of the empire and ordered all remaining power to be diverted to the engines and set a course for the nearest city below.
All across the ship, alarms blared as the ship began to shake violently while the gunship of the Muunilinst 10 waited for Ruby and Galen. "I can't believe Ruby just ran off to help Galen! What was she thinking?" Weiss asked aloud.
"She probably was only looking out for her friend." Rose stated.
"Against someone with skills and abilities that she doesn't even know about or how to counter? I wouldn't be surprised if the alarms are because she did something to this ship." Weiss added. Before anyone could say anything, Fives called out as Galen and Ruby ran into the hanger as quick as they could.
"Come on, we need to get off this ship!" Galen called out, boarding the ship with Ruby behind him. The blast doors closed, and the ship exited the Star Destroyer and headed back to the surface of Remnant. Ruby was able to get a quick glance at Remnant from space and was in awe, but her awe soon vanished as High Tech called out over the commlink that the last enemy ship had diverted all its power to its engines and was on a direct course to Vale.
"If that thing crashes into Vale, the entire city and Beacon will be destroyed!" Rex stated aloud.
"What do we do?" Yang asked.
Galen had the answer. "Get me to the docks! I'll bring that ship down into the ocean!" he shouted.
"How can you bring down a ship that size?" Blake asked.
"You'd be surprised what one can do with the Force on their side!" Galen answered. It didn't take the gunship long to reach the docks where Galen leapt out of the gunship as the Imperial ship came into view.
(Battle of Naboo/Core Ship destruction starts)
Reaching out with the force, Galen grabbed the large ship and began to change its course directly towards the ocean. As the massive ship turned, Team's RWBY and the rest of Team GARM watched in awe as Galen used all his strength and brought the massive warship closer and closer to the ocean.
However, a few remaining TIE fighters streaked towards their position and opened up with their cannons, but they were quickly downed by the Galm Team who veered away as the enemy warship crashed into the water and sunk to the bottom of the sea before it exploded in a giant cloud of water that could be seen from Beacon.

"That was a close one." Galen said exhausted and fell flat on his butt. "Ruby, are you ok?" he asked, turning towards Ruby.
"I'm fine. Thanks again for saving me. But I would like you to tell me everything. I want to know the real you." Ruby answered. Galen smiled agreed to tell Ruby everything about him, after he had some time to rest.
Little did anyone of them know, this was only the prelude to an even bigger danger to Remnant as onboard a Star Destroyer far from Remnant, Vader sensed the disturbance in the Force and ordered the hanger crew to prepare his fighter.

As many of you have seen, I brought in the Galm Team from Ace Combat Zero and two squadrons of fighter pilots from Ace Combat 7. Their aircraft are the F15C, but I called them the F15 Dagger and gave them a few extra features to their weapons. Other aircraft I have chosen will appear under different names later on as will another important character from the Ace Combat series, but under a name that will probably surprise you all.
Galen has shown his power to not only his team but to Team RWBY as well, and they now know that Galen isn't who he is. Yet despite this, Ruby still trusts him and was able to hold her own against someone trained in the ways of the force without any training herself.
Yet despite their success it appears Vader is now on his way to Remnant. Before anyone asks, he is not brining a fleet with him but is going to investigate this matter personally. I can promise you that next chapter, Vader will show the power of the Dark Side to those who are foolish enough to attack him and a certain someone will make her appearance as well.
Before I end, I want to say that this chapter is dedicated to my best friends deceased father. He was diagnosed with cancer some time ago and only recently passed away. He was a good man and I'll never forget him and all the times he took me and my friend to places like movie theaters and the like.
