WARNING: SEXUALITY IN THIS CHAPTER make choices accordingly!

Here we are, SIRIUS' BIRTHDAY. I had to do it, I had to think about what Sirius' 36 birthday would have been like! I just love him and it's been so fun writing him and Penny together and really developing the relationship between them. In this will be a bit of Sirius/Remus love so I hope you enjoy. !

I have a long weekend and NO HOMEWORK (blesss) so I am going to *attempt* to write a second update, which will be the return to Hogwarts! Gotta say, I'm looking forward to our normal scheduled television, SNAPE AND PENNY, and boy will it be fun writing her stance after all his actions.

When Penny woke from her fever it was to great confusion. The last thing she remembered was standing in the hall with Lupin, begging him to believe her when she told him about what she saw. Upon waking, she'd found Lupin asleep in a chair beside her, but he was pulled from his slumber soon after her, betraying how attuned he was to her every stirring.

Satisfied that all her vitals were normal, he began to answer Penny's questions about what had happened, and then almost reluctantly he confessed to her how he'd asked Severus to come by. The admissions shocked Penny, but she tried to pretend it didn't phase her. Lupin, being his amazingly observant-self, was not the least bit convinced, but he was too wonderful of a human being to make her feel bad about it. Instead, he asked her forgiveness for not consulting her first and then explained why he believed it necessary.

His revelation, which was confirmed by how well Penny felt, having none of the pain in her abdomen, was a hard pill to swallow for her. It complicated matters much more than she cared to admit, and she found herself irritated by the fact fate had decided to make her dependent upon Severus Snape in yet another way, and at a time when she was trying to extract herself from the man. While she had no delusions about avoiding Snape completely when she returned to Hogwarts, being forced into his company for these touch therapy sessions not only sounded like slow torture, but was literally her worst nightmare and would make pretending not to care an arduous ordeal. Lupin did his best not to smile at the look of mortification on Penny's face when he described these things to her, going so far as to reach past her and straighten her pillow until he got a handle on himself. Unfortunately for him, Penny saw through him and he met a scowl upon his return, which made him break into open laughter. But then he took her shoulders in both of his hands and looked down at her very seriously and said, "I would do anything for you, Penny, and if there were any way for me to take this curse from you, I would do it in a heartbeat. But please understand, there is nothing so important to me as ensuring your wellbeing. And I don't mean just the bare minimum. I will not allow you to lose another day to pain, these should be the best days of your life, and they will be, even if I have to write to Professor Snape everyday to make them so."

His words had been more touching than Penny knew what to do with. She stared into the warm brown eyes and she could not help but smile and even stopped cursing fate long enough to thank it for allowing her path to cross Lupin's.

The worst development that resulted from Snape's visit was the decision that Penny would return to Hogwarts sooner than she anticipated. Sirius decided, much to her anger and vocal outrage, that it was more important that she keep her curse from progressing, and all but told her he was kicking her out. Naturally, Lupin frowned and expressed his disagreement with the method in which Sirius chose to convey this information, but the fact remained: Snape would not be able to leave Hogwarts regularly to help her without attracting the notice of Dolores Umbridge, so Penny would need to return, ready or not.

Even worse still, Sirius being the strong headed man he was, had wanted to ship Penny back as soon as Lupin relayed his findings, however, Penny refused to leave before his birthday which was on November third. They'd ended up in a screaming match, which was, in all honesty, more distressing for Lupin than either of them.

"Don't be ridiculous Penny, you are more important than my birthday."

"But nothing is more important than family. It's not fair that I've never got to have a birthday with you!"

"Stop being so stubborn, it never worked when James did it and it sure as hell won't work now! I won't let you make yourself sick for something as insignificant-"

"Insignificant? That's rich coming from a man who had parents, but not all of us were so lucky. Your being born is not insignificant to me," Penny said, hotly.

"Don't pull that orphan crap on me. I've had 35 birthdays and I can tell you they weren't that exciting."

"Oh, I don't know, don't you remember your 17th?" Lupin said with a sly smile.

"Hush Moony, you know full well that was James' doing, so don't you go and encourage her," Sirius said, narrowing his eyes on Remus.

"She is James' daughter," Lupin shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Not to mention you spent twelve, twelve, as in ALMOST HALF of them in Azkaban. And what if you don't have another one! Times are dark, none of us have any idea what tomorrow brings."

"God dammit, Penny" Sirius growled. "Why can't you ever listen!"

"Tell me a time you ever listened at 15," Lupin said with an eye roll, reclining himself a little further in the swivel chair he sat in at the desk he'd been working at before the two of them had stormed in and interrupted him with their fight.

"That's not the point Remus ," Sirius shot at Lupin, who shook his head. "And you," he went on, rounding on Penny again. "You know full well, barring you and Harry doing anything stupid, I won't be leaving this house anytime soon! So, no, we aren't waiting."

"In case you've forgotten, Harry has done something stupid every year since we got to Hogwarts. You'll be needing to rescue him by June at this rate. So no, I'm not going and you can't make me," Penny said, definitely crossing her arms.

"Stop looking so damn amused and back me up!"

"Sirius," Lupin said in that soft tone, the one he adopted before he used to give Penny's class the disappointing news that he would be assigning them homework regardless of their pleas. "I'll take her back bright and early on the fourth, how about that? C'mon, it's your birthday ," Lupin said, getting to his feet and crossing the room.

His brown eyes locked pleadingly with Sirius' handsome ones, his hand reaching up to tuck Sirius' long black hair behind his ear. Sirius closed his eyes with a heavy sigh, his head falling forward so his forehead pressed hard against Lupin's as he grabbed both sides of his face, his fingers tensing as though he wanted to strangle Lupin. "I hate it when you do that."

"Do what?" Lupin asked, feigning innocence.

Ignoring Lupin, Sirius opened his eyes, and then, rather abruptly his lips went crashing into Lupin's with such force that Lupin had to take a step backward. But he recovered quickly, wrapping his other arm around Sirius' waist and pulling him closer, pressing back against him. Penny watched, wide eyed, at what seemed to be a violently erotic kiss that she was certain she should not be party to. Never before had Penny seen such passion, it was almost palpable, burning her with the embers flinging from them in every direction. At that moment, Penny, unable to turn her gaze, wondered if love was more than a feeling; that maybe it was as tangible as her thumping heart, and perhaps it was staring her straight in the face. The way in which the pair of them held each other, as though time had no meaning, was unlike anything Penny had ever experienced, and for some reason, looking upon it made her inexplicably sad.

It took her a moment to understand why. Locked in the others' embrace, they held each other with a kind of desperation, and it was then that Penny realized how fleeting it all was. Lupin and Sirius, they held on as two people who not only understood the fragility of life, but witnessed its loss and knew it's hungry nature. Whether on stolen time or not, each was acutely aware they had no guarantees. Unlike Penny's life, which was far removed from what the front lines of the war actually entailed, they faced the awful reality of it. And because of it, they held on a little longer, kissed a little deeper, and allowed the present to totally consume their every sense.

The kind of love Lupin and Sirius had, it terrified Penny, and that monster within, which she thought had gone dormant, it stirred in her chest. The two of them lost themselves, forgetting Penny completely, their touching became more needy, each of them panting into the other as they tried to stifle their moans. It wasn't until Sirius pressed Lupin into the desk behind him that Penny made her exit, her face flushed and her heart aching.

Just outside the door she paused as Lupin's husky tones met her ears.

"Sirius, we can't. You know we can't. She could come back."

"Then lock the door, Moony," Sirius said.

A sound, almost like scuffling drifted to Penny, which then gave way to Lupin's low moan of pleasure.

"Give me your wand," Lupin demanded, his voice thick with need, and a moment later the door was pushed shut by a gentle gust of wind, the lock clicking.

Not wanting to be found out when they finished, Penny made for the kitchen where she began brewing a pot of tea. Seating herself at the table and trying to distract herself with the homework she'd left there, she was surprised when the door swung open, and in walked Mrs. Weasley.

"Penny, dear, how are you?" she said, smiling warmly before setting the numerous things she'd been carrying down to kiss Penny on the top of the head.

"Hi, Mrs. Weasley, would you like some tea? I just put a pot on."

"That'd be lovely."

Penny walked across the kitchen and retrieved the two prettiest tea cups Sirius owned. Penny loved the delicate flowers on the side, they often made her dream of a life where she might have had the chance to have tea parties with her own mother.

She set Mrs. Weasley's tea before her and looked curiously at the items she was unpacking. "What's all this?"

"I noticed you've outgrown some of your clothing, so I did some shopping before you head back to Hogwarts. Lupin and Sirius would have done it themselves, but I think they were rather embarrassed. You'd think they'd never seen a bra before. Honestly." Mrs. Weasley said with an impatient sigh.

Penny watched Mrs. Weasley, feeling profoundly grateful for the woman, though she wasn't entirely sure how she was to express that. The Dursleys had opted to give her and Harry the bare minimum of necessities. Being a girl, Penny, in some ways, had fared better than Harry who was given all of Dudley's hand-me-downs. However, in the last year or so Penny's body had undergone many changes, particularly her breasts, which Aunt Petunia, who was a very skinny woman, now found incredibly irksome. She'd gotten the idea in her head that if she forced Penny to wear too tight sports bras and refused to let her drink milk or anything else with hormones, then she could stop her breasts from growing. This was incredibly painful and embarrassing for Penny, who was already trying to come to terms with her new body.

She'd only found relief when a classmate, Lavender Brown had noticed Penny struggling with her sports bra, and having a large chest herself, offered her an old bra. This was the only well fitting bra Penny had ever owned, so looking down at the pile of a dozen new bras gave Penny an odd sense of relief. And not only that, the garments Mrs. Weasley had chosen were not like the ugly, dull colored ones Aunt Petunia normally selected for her, they were colorful and lacey, giving Penny an odd sense of relief and comfort in her skin.

Growing up with a twin brother, and the majority of people she spent her time with being men, Penny always felt a bit awkward in her own body. But Mrs. Weasley, her gesture and ease with which she approached the topic, it helped her feel as though perhaps she need not be ashamed of these changes.

Among the pile of things Mrs. Weasley also bought, new school robes, uniform shirts and bottoms, as well as several new sweaters, skirts and tights to wear when she was not in class. Last were a few hair accessories that she thought Penny might like, and telling her how lovely her hair was, she clipped a bow in Penny's hair and squeezed her shoulder.

"Molly!" Sirius said, jovially as he made a loud entrance into the room.

Embarrassed because she knew why Sirius was in such a good mood, Penny avoided looking at him, trying to hide the redness she felt creeping up her neck

"Sirius, Remus, tea? Penny was kind enough to have made a pot."

"I'd love-" Sirius started as he stepped up to the table, his words trailing off as he picked up the red lacy under-garment on the top of the pile.

Confused as to why he stopped mid-sentence, Penny glanced up, mortified as she realized that Sirius was inspecting the bra as though he was not certain what it was, Lupin peering over his shoulder curiously.

"Those are Penny's," Mrs. Weasley said, briskly, snatching the garment from Sirius as she began putting them back into the bag she'd brought them in.

"She can't wear those, she's not old enough!" Sirius floundered as he looked down at Penny, who just wanted to crawl under the table and die.

"Oh don't be ridiculous, Sirius," said Mrs. Weasley.

"The only ridiculous thing here is you buying her lingerie when she's 15!" continued Sirius, looking affronted.

"It's hardly lingerie," Mrs. Weasley said, impatiently. "They're quite cute and the woman suggested them because they are more comfortable while still developing."

"Not lingerie-" Sirius spluttered, red faced now.

"What Penny wears is none of our business, Sirius," Lupin said, placing a firm hand on his shoulder.

"Why don't you go pack these away, Penny dear," Mrs. Weasley said, handing Penny the bag and giving her a gentle nudge to the door.

Extremely thankful for Mrs. Weasley, Penny glanced back to see Mrs. Weasley round on Sirius with all her fury, Lupin wincing slightly as he stepped away. Wanting no part in what was about to ensue, Penny ran from the room toward her bedroom, taking the stairs three at a time until she made it to her bedroom.

Once everything was packed, Penny checked the chessboard she'd snatched from Sirius' room to see if Harry had messaged her back. During her time with Sirius, and with much help from Hermione, Harry had worked out how to communicate with Penny, finding rather unique ways to inform Penny about Umbridge's continued reign of terror, which included educational decree number twenty-four, which disbanded all student organizations, including quidditch teams.

Somehow, the Gryffindor team gained approval to reform, but the details of that were lost on the simplicity of the board. Penny knew that Grffindor had their first match against Slytherin today, so she'd messaged Harry, to be sure he updated her about whether they won or not. His silence was disconcerting, Harry never lost a match. Perhaps they were all celebrating and that was the reason for the delay in response, but she could not help but feel slightly worried that something else might be amiss.

Returning to her twin was about the only thing Penny was looking forward to about returning to was nice being with Sirius, but Harry's absence was unnatural for Penny, and there was much she wanted to speak to him about. She knew Harry was the only person who would take her seriously about what had transpired with Sirius.

While Lupin did his best to attend, within the bounds of his memory, to Penny's interrogations about the things James had mentioned about these family stories, and details surrounding their use of the ouija board, he had little to offer Penny, except a very old family tree that he'd had, not remembering how it'd come into his possession. Penny's obsessive search had led to little fruit, and only resulted in Lupin being even more concerned about her. To be fair, her behavior did not do much to convince him she was fine.

Since the incident as she referred to it as, she'd demanded they keep the door to that living space closed; jumped at the slightest noise, and begged Lupin to not make her sleep alone because she was paranoid the spirit would return. Sirius, after copping a lecture from Lupin, seemed to feel guilty for the part he played in it, and agreed without complaint to sleep on the chase at the end of her bed, Lupin falling asleep in the chair Snape had left at Penny's bedside, holding her hand.

When she'd given up her incessant questioning, she decided to suck it up and look through the book of her family. As expected, she felt a twinge of sadness when she found the names of her parents, attached to her and Harry's names. But she found nothing else notable until she reached the name Ignotus Peverell next to which an odd symbol was scribbled. At the center was a vertical line on top of which was a circle, and both of those were encased in a triangle. Penny, in all her reading, had never come across such a mark, and did not know what it meant. Feeling frustrated, she'd tossed the book into her trunk and resigned to ask Harry his thoughts as soon as she returned to school. Even though Lupin tried to assure her it was nothing to worry about, Penny could not let it go. She knew she was neither crazy, nor imagined it, therefore it could not be ignored.

The last of Penny's time with Lupin and Sirius was not long enough, Sirius' birthday, and subsequent party that Lupin and she had thrown together, arrived much sooner than she would have liked. With still no word from Harry, Penny was all too happy to distract herself with festivities and photo taking. Many members of the order arrived for the affair, including Mrs. Weasley who helped Penny with all the cooking.

The room buzzing with loud chatter and laughter, among Sirius sat Lupin, Mad-Eye Moody, Tonks, Kingsley Shackelbolt, Bill and Arthur Weasley, Lupin and Mundungus Fletcher. Mundungus, upon arrival, a box in his hand, beckoned Sirius suspiciously into another room and returned later sans the box. Figuring it was related to another one of Mundungus' poor life choices, Penny shrugged it off and sat herself at the end of the table beside Dung, who eyed Penny with the look of a man who saw before him a promising business opportunity.

"How old are ya now, Penny?" he said.

"15, why?" Penny said, looking curiously at him.

"Have a boyfriend, wouldn't ya," he continued looking her over.

"Uhh, a girlfriend, I guess," Penny said, feeling wary about where this conversation was going.

"Even better!" Mundungus said, his eyes lighting up. "Got somethin' that may interest ya,'' he went on quietly, reaching into one of his long pockets and digging for a moment. After some effort he pulled free a box, on the cover of which was the picture of a very peculiarly shaped item. She did not know what it was at first glance, so she accepted the box and read The magic Wand: unlock all your secrets, now includes three new settings, the 'surprise me gasm', 'I need this to be quick' and the 'my boyfriend doesn't know what he's doing!'

Blushing profusely, Penny turned in disbelief to Mundungus, "Is this. . ."

"You betcha. Won't disappoint neither. I'll let you keep it, free of charge, so long as you be sure to tell your friends about it, and if they happen to be interested, how to contact me," he winked.

The very-frustrated-and-missing-Ginny part of Penny very much liked the idea of trying this out with her, but Mrs. Weasley's scrutinizing gaze made her uneasy, so she shoved it back to Mundungus.

"I can't walk out with this, they'll see," she said in a hushed whisper.

"Not a problem, Penny," Mundungus said, pulling out his wand. He flicked it and the intriguing item disappeared. "Safe and sound under your pillow."

"What else do you have in there?" Penny said, her teenage hormones getting the better of her.

Mundungus produced two magazines, which upon first glance looked to be boring historical reviews, but upon Mundungus' nudging, she opened them to find it to be filled with wizard photographs of naked women engaged in various sexual acts. Forgetting the room full of people around her, Penny was transfixed, watching these women suck, finger and moan up at her. That is, until Bill Weasley peered over her shoulder, laughed, and said "Don't look so obvious, Penny, you look far too interested to be reading about European economics."

"I-Dung-not mine," Penny stammered, flushing profusely, causing he and Mundungus to laugh even more.

"Don't worry, your secret's safe with me," Bill said, nudging her in the ribs before taking a swig of the frothy beverage he was drinking. Penny gave him an alarmed, but inquisitive look which prompted him to add, "Ginny wrote to me about you two. She's had a crush on you for the longest time too, glad it worked out."

Her heart fluttering in her chest at the revelation and thought that Ginny had spoken to her brother about Penny, she watched as Bill joined Sirius and Tonks, who were coaxing Arthur Weasley and Lupin into taking shots under the disapproving gaze of Mrs. Weasley. But she said nothing, so, to much ruckus, they downed two lines of shots, the noise, if possible heightening.

"Do you remember, Moony, when everything had just started and we were at James and Lily's and we saw that pillar of smoke coming from old Bathilda's and James demanded we go check it out, certain it had to be Death Eaters," Sirius said loudly, sloshing the drink he was holding all over the table. "And he marched right in there without identifying himself, only to receive a bat-bogey hex to the face before she smashed him upside the head with that steal cauldron of hers," Sirius barked with laughter, and his laughter was so hearty it was infectious, sending everyone else in the room rolling as well.

"I recall Lily being very displeased with us returning James like that and demanding what we were doing while he was being assaulted," Lupin smiled.

"Pissing myself laughing, naturally," said Sirius.

"Taught him a thing or two about stealth, if I recall," added Lupin, who's cheeks were alluringly rosy from the alcohol.

"Always loved to make an entrance, didn't he? Just like Penny, aye? Can hear you coming from a mile away," Sirius said, casting an affectionate look at Penny.

"You sound like Professor Snape," Penny scowled.

"Don't listen to them, Penny," Tonks said. "From what Moody tells me, Sirius had his fair share of mishaps," they winked.

"Had his wand in his pocket!" Moody growled. "About to enter a site known to be infested with Death Eaters and doesn't even bother to take out his wand!"

"Still knocked Mulciber out, didn't I, Mad-Eye. And let me tell you, I still haven't felt anything that satisfying since," Sirius said, with a simpering sigh.

Lupin gave him a very unamused look that elicited laughter from the group-Sirius would definitely be sleeping on the couch.

"Lucky he didn't use the killing curse," Moody muttered, his magical eye spinning in disapproval.

Getting to her feet and making her way toward the other end of the table in order to be heard, Penny squished herself between where Sirius and Lupin sat, but Lupin took hold of her waist and pulled her into his lap.

"What was it like back then?" said Penny, her voice full of trepidation.

"Picking us off like flies, weren't they?" growled Moody.

"It was different," Lupin said near her ear.

"Didn't know what we were up again, did we?" added Sirius. "Even the Death Eaters didn't know who the other Death Eaters were. Felt like we couldn't trust anyone."

"How were you able to accomplish anything?" Penny asked, astounded.

"Dumbledore, mostly," said Sirius. "But there was a while there. . ." he said, glancing at Lupin.

"But that all changed with Harry," Mrs. Weasley interjected, seeing the mood taking a dive.

"We don't even know how Harry defeated him, is there any hope this time?"

"I wouldn't be here if there wasn't," Tonks said, frowning around at the table of silent people who did not seem to know how to answer Penny's question.

"Hope isn't passive, Penny, it doesn't float in and make everything feel less daunting, we have to fight for it" added Bill Weasley, almost sternly.

"Here here," said Sirius raising his glass, and everyone followed suit, each looking into the eyes of the others, a strange but powerful bond connecting them all-they would fight, even if some of them should fall, they would not give up. But for now, they held each other tight, while they still could.

It was well after midnight when Mrs. Weasley announced it was time to put the festivities to an end and that Penny should head to bed, seeing as she would need to rise early to return to Hogwarts. Everyone wished Penny luck on her studies and said farewell, telling her to enjoy her time at Hogwarts and not to dwell on the war before she needed to; Mrs. Weasley hugging her tightly before exiting.

Penny was alone in the kitchen, picking up the leftover dishes, Lupin seeing the guests off, when Sirius returned to the kitchen, teetering unsteadily from one too many drinks. He had a box in his hands which he took to the table.

"Come here, kid," he said.

Smiling at his inebriated state, Penny dried her hands and made toward Sirius.

"I'm glad you made me do this," he grinned, tenderly.

"Oh? Take back the lecture about being stubborn now, are you?"

"Not a chance. I love you, kid, and Merlin knows there is never enough time, but you gotta learn to listen, to accept maybe you don't know it all. I thought I did, didn't listen to James, did I? Not when he adamantly insisted his secret keeper had to be me. But I doubted him. . ." Sirius trailed off with a long sigh as he rested himself against the edge of the table. "But that's not the point. You'll either choose to listen to me or learn the hard way. But this time I got to have with you, Pen, it's important to me."

"Sirius-"Penny said, taking a step forward.

"No, let me finish. Life at Hogwarts, with your dad, I thought they were the best days of my life, but little did I know what he would leave to me," Sirius pressed, his dark eyes glassy. "I never knew life could be this full, frustrating and terrifying," he grinned. "I know that you are uncertain, Pen, afraid of what this war will bring, about losing more family. But I won't give you fake words of comfort, because people you love will die, but I want you to know, I lived a good life, alright? And it's because of you and that brother of yours, I got to live a full life, cleared name or not, I don't care, because these moments are so precious to me," he finished, pulling Penny into a rough embrace,

He held her, squeezing her uncomfortably for several minutes, the pair of them overcome by their emotions, neither wanting the other to look upon them until they'd gotten rid of any evidence of their tears. It was Sirius who finally pulled away.

"Sirius, I don't know what to say," Penny said, quietly.

"Not everything needs a reply," shrugged Sirius. "But I got you something."

"It's your birthday, why would you get me something!" said Penny.

"Because, you were right, I don't know what tomorrow holds, and I want you to remember tonight. When it gets dark and the war feels as though it will rip the soul right from your body, and it will, I want you to remember what was shared tonight, remember the good worth living for."

Reaching into the box, he pulled out what Penny at first thought was a naked rat, but it perked up its ears and turned its large green eyes on Penny as Sirius held it up.

"A Sphynx?" Penny exclaimed.

"I realize I got Harry a firebolt back in your third-year and this may seem inadequate-" Sirius began sheepishly, but much to his surprise Penny snatched the cat from his hands, a jubilant smile forming across her lips.

Penny stared at the cat for a moment before kissing its soft head, the cat pressing its head against Penny's in approval.

"Mundungus helped me get him, notoriously hard to get your hands on one, so make sure you show Hagrid when you return to Hogwarts, I'd imagine he'd be quite interested," Sirius said, smiling widely at Penny.

"Really? I had no idea," Penny said, casting Sirius an intrigued gaze.

"Sphynxes were popular with Egyptian wizards, they believed they could be as a ward for death. Supposedly, they're said to have the ability to see death. I know I frightened you the other day, but I hope Fleamont gives you some comfort when you return to Hogwarts."

"Fleamont?"

"Sorry, I named him already," Sirius said, running his hand through the hair at the back of his head.

"After my grandfather?" Penny said, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Glad to see you looked at the book Moony gave you. Fleamont took me in as a son. He was one of the kindest and wisest men I ever knew, I just couldn't think of a better person to have watch over you."

"Fleamont," Penny repeated slowly, turning back to the cat who'd closed its eyes and settled itself into her arms.

Setting him back into the box, Penny turned and threw her arms around Sirius, clinging tightly to him. He leaned down and gave her cheek a prickly kiss, the both of them lingering momentarily, Sirius breathing in the smell of her hair, Penny forcing her mind to never forget the feel of Sirius beneath her fingertips, the ripples of muscle, the loud heart beneath her ear, and the long hair tickling her nose. Never before had Penny allowed herself to believe in such a love, a love of a parent, and naturally, she hated the thought of letting go of it, the loss of her parents making her ever fearful, so even when Sirius released her, Penny hung on just a bit longer, whispering, "I love you, Sirius."

"I love you too, Pen," he whispered back.

They both pulled apart rather suddenly when Lupin joined them. He looked between them curiously, an eyebrow raised. But neither offered an explanation, Penny grabbing Fleamont from the box again. Lupin seemed surprised and happy by Sirius' gesture, remarking what a good name he'd given the cat. With a kiss from Lupin, Penny went to bed alone, assuring them both she didn't need them.

In her room, Fleamont became more alert, sniffing around the room as Penny undressed, shut off the lights and made for her bed. She tried coaxing the cat into her bed, but he instead opted to post himself on the highest shelf of her bookcase, peering out the window. Penny sighed in resignation and rolled over when she realized there was something hard beneath her pillow. Reaching for it, she pulled out the toy Mundungus had showed her. She looked at it for a moment, biting her nails in indecision, but Sirius' loud voice alerted her to the pair of them on the landing. She waited, but they seemed to pass her, making their way to Sirius' room without checking on her.

Excitement warming the spot between her legs, she pulled open the box to reveal what looked like a peculiar egg on the end of a stick. Penny looked at the buttons in order to gain an understanding about how to use the toy, and then, reminding herself that Lupin had told her things would be easier if she tried exploring things herself, she slid her pajama bottoms off, and slid the wand beneath the covers.

Closing her eyes, she thought of Ginny, her red hair falling into her face like curtains when she leaned down to kiss Penny, engulfing her with those soft lips of hers; the peach colored-nipples that adorned her modest breasts, and the tantalizing way she'd moan when Penny sucked on them. The egg pressed against her clitoris, vibrating softly, she felt her body ignite in bliss and desire, a small gasp escaping her lips as her clitoris sent tiny waves of pleasure through her pelvis.

Unable to stop herself, she let out a loud moan, the intensity of the eggs' vibration increasing on its own. The experience was utter bliss, Penny allowing herself to be engulfed by each wave, her breathing becoming more labored as the contractions of pleasure seemed to get closer together, as though at some point they would peak. The sound of the bed banging against the wall upstairs startled Penny from her efforts, and she immediately pulled her hand away until she realized Sirius and Lupin were going for round two.

The sound of their moaning only served to intensify her desire, and not caring if it was wrong or not, and in a desperate quest to know what would happen when she finally reached that peak, Penny returned the wand to her clitoris, pressing it lower towards her opening, which was swollen and soaking with wetness by now. Allowing her memories of Ginny to sweep over her again, Penny listened to Lupin and Sirius, imagining her and Ginny engaged in such an exchange of pleasure until she couldn't take it anymore and sat up in bed, her prize tantalizingly close now. And then, when the activity upstairs started to get much more rowdy, Penny felt it. Letting out a cry, her eyes shutting of their own accord, her face contorting against her will and her pelvis thrusting upward, Penny orgasmed. It was unlike anything she'd ever experienced, and took her several minutes to recover from.

Rolling over, drowsy and breathing hard, Penny stuffed the miraculous toy under her pillow again. She would definitely be showing it to Ginny, and utterly content, Penny fell asleep, excited to return to Hogwarts the following morning.

Isn't growing up FUN? lol. And yes, I had to name the cat Fleamont seeing as Harry literally steals every name to name his children after, so I felt like Penny needed a connection to the family line, and it just felt special to have it come from Sirius who, like Penny, understands how lonely not having a parent is, and was adopted into a new family.

Also, don't hate me for doing this and making us all sadder here sooon I'M SORRRYYY
