Happy Birthday Tidus
"Happy birthday, Tidus!" Rikku shouted, holding a huge box out to the blond boy. "Hey, thanks Rikku! What is it?" he asked, taking the box and opening it eagerly. "Well, open it and find out!" the Al Bhed girl said.
Tidus did just that, and before long all the paper and ribbons had been disposed of, and Tidus lifted the lid of the box to reveal: a banana cluster.
"Err, thanks Rikku", he said uncertainly, wondering why she had given him that. Rikku heard his unspoken question, however, and answered it.
"Well, it's just an idea I got after remembering how much you like to eat. And it seemed appropriate since you used to play for the Zanarkand Apes", she explained happily, oblivious to the angry red tinge in Tidus' cheeks.
"It's the Zanarkand ABES!" he shouted, grabbing a banana from the cluster and throwing it at her. Rikku ducked instinctively and ran out of the cabin (they were aboard the airship), dodging the rain of bananas coming out of it.
"Geez, what a fuss for just one tiny weenie little letter. And what's an abe anyway?" Rikku asked herself, seeking refuge in the engine room.
