(Murray's voice)

Sly was discharged, but he still needed plenty of rest. I made sure the twins did their classes online. Boy they sure are smart! I'm proud to be their uncle.

Carmelita found a clue for finding whoever's responsible for trying to kidnap the girls. Whoever it is, he'll have to deal with the wrath of the "Murrinator"!

October 19th, 2021

It was 7:30 in the evening when Sly and Carmelita came back to the penthouse. The twins ran over to the two, hugging them tightly.

"Daddy, what happened?" Sylvia asked.

"Daddy…got hurt during a job." Sly replied.

Carmelita rolled her eyes, still mad at Sly. "That's because 'Daddy' jumped in front of a bullet."

"Is dad in trouble?" Carmen asked, sad for him.

"Kinda," said Carmelita. "But this time, he needs to rest in his bed."

"No couch?" Carmen asked.

"He would if he didn't just get out of the hospital." Carmelita replied.

"Why'd you get hit, daddy?" Sylvia asked.

"So uncle Bentley wouldn't die."

"So…does that mean you're a hero?" Sylvia smiled.

Sly chuckled. "I wouldn't say that, but I love your uncle Bentley very much." He rubbed Sylvia's head. "I would take a bullet for you, your sister, uncle Murray," he looked up at the hippo. " And," he turned to his wife with a smirk. "Your loving and understanding mother."

"Uh-huh," said Carmelita, her hands to her hips. "Not so understanding that I won't kill you myself if you do that again, Ringtail."

"But he's a hero, mommy." Sylvia said.

"He's a hero, mommy." Sly mimicked, teasing Carmelita.

Car raised a brow. "How'd you like to be a martyr?"

"Oh come on, babe. You wouldn't do the same?"

Carmelita's eyes widened, then she sighed. "I know you did the right thing, but I don't want to come home and find out that you're…well, you know."

Sly got up, placing his hand on her face. "I know, Carm. You just…care…"

The two looked into each other's eyes.

"Hey guys," said Murray, making the couple turn to face him. "I ordered pizza, if that's okay."

"Well," said Sly. "It'd be easier than cooking."

Carmelita nodded. "Yeah, I could go for some."

"Yay!" The twins shouted.

"I called your parents," said Sly. "They'll be here tomorrow morning."

"Wait, you called them?" Carmelita raised a brow.

"I'd watch the girls myself, but I know you'll want me to have back up."

"Darn right I would, Cooper." She smirked. "I'll be going to China tomorrow, and I don't wanna leave the girls alone with a wounded man." She teased.

So, we had pizza for dinner, then watched some cartoons. I spent the night, just in case. We were getting close to finally solving this. I just hope that this all ends soon.

Sly Cooper and the Gang in: Wrath of the Owl

The next morning, Carmelita got dressed and helped Sly change the sheets to their bed. She walked into the kitchen to find a bowl of cereal for her and Sly with the milk in a cup for her to pour later.

"We made breakfast, mom and dad." Carmen said with a smile.

"Aww," said Carmelita. "Thanks girls, that's sweet."

"Good job, girls." Sly said, smiling as he poured the milk in his cereal to begin eating it.

The doorbell rang. "I'll get it," said Murray. He answered it and let in Carmelita's parents.

"Grandma, grandpa!" The twins shouted, running to them for a hug.

Carmelita's father, Indigo, had a muscular build, brown hair, and gray sideburns. Her mother, Maria, had blue hair and an average athletic build (much like her).

"Carmen, Sylvia. Mis nietas!" Indigo shouted with a smile.

"It's good to see you two," Maria said, smiling.

Carmelita went over to her parents for a big hug, smiling wide. "Mama, papa!"

"Carmelita, mi hija, it's good to see you!" Indigo said.

"Sorry we didn't see you when our little girl turned 40," said Maria.

"Pfft," said Carmelita. "Thanks, mama. I really like being reminded of how old I am now."

"Oh Carm," said Sly, smirking. "You are like the finest wine, only getting more fine."

"Carmelita rolled her eyes with a smile. "Always with the flattery, Ringtail."

"Well, I've always liked a woman with more experience." Sly smirked, kissing her cheek.

Maria chuckled. "He's quite the sweet talker." She walked over to Sly for a hug.

Indigo just shook his hand, but he made sure to squeeze his hands tight. "Come on, Bandido! Shake like a man!"

"I don't think I'll ever compare to your level of manliness," Sly teased.

"Ha ha, very funny mapache." He replied.

"Would you like some breakfast, grandma and grandpa?" Sylvia asked.

"No, thank you, Sylvia. We already had some." Maria smiled, patting Sylvia's head.

"Anyway, I have to go, guys. I got a lead in China." Carmelita said, hugging her parents goodbye, then her daughters, and finally Sly, before walking out the door.

"So Bandido," said Indigo. "Where do we sleep?"

" I'll be sleeping in the living room on a fold up chair bed. You two will get our room."

"How thoughtful," said Maria.

"Your daughter and I changed the sheets so you'll get to sleep on Spanish silk."

"That's," said Indigo, pausing. "That's a good start, mapache."

Sly smirked. "Feel free to take it home with you when you leave. We won't be using it."

Maria giggled, but Indigo rolled his eyes.

"Very funny, Bandido. Anyway, senora and I should put our bags in the room."

"I'll do it," said Murray, grabbing their bags. "Carmelita said he can't do much lifting." He turned to put the luggage in the master bedroom.

"I'm so sorry, 'Mrs. Fox'," said Indigo, teasing Sly. "I've taken more bullets than a magazine, and I never had to take it easy."

"Well, you look like you pump so much iron, you eat bullets for breakfast, dad." Said Sly, teasingly.

Indigo chuckled. "Okay, mapache. You got me there." He patted Sly hard on the back.

Meanwhile, in the mountains of China

Carmelita followed the coordinates given to her. The temple had strange markings on them, similar to the cube Slytunkhamen stole in Ancient Egypt. She entered the temple, but saw that there were spires ahead. She took a deep breath, and jumped from one spire to the next, until she made it to the other end. "Thank you, Sly," she said to herself.

She continued on, her shock pistol ready and flashlight pointed forward. Suddenly, she heard chuckles from a deep and demonic voice. "I heard you've been looking for me," said the voice with a British accent.

"Who are you," Carmelita asked, turning around in search of the voice. " What are you?"

"I see the teachings of the lineage of your husband were passed onto you," his voice echoed. "I also saw that he taught your children well."

"He taught us enough," she retorted.

"Ah yes, which would explain why you and your friends were harder to handle than I expected."

"What do you want with us," she demanded, still looking around.

"I have waited many years," he said, appearing behind Carmelita as she slowly turned around to see him. "To get my revenge on Connor Cooper."

"Why," she asked.

"All in due time," he said. "But for now, I think it's time we took a little trip."

"The only place you're going is behind bars," she said. She shot him with her shock pistol, but he didn't even flinch, which caused her eyes to widen.

"My turn," he said, shooting electricity at her, which knocked her out. He lifted her up with telekinesis. "You have strength in you, wife of Cooper, but I am beyond your limits." They both disappeared in thin air.

One week later

Sly and the family were getting worried, as they haven't heard from Carmelita since she left. They tried calling her, but there was no answer. Sly was smart enough to slip a tracking device in her jacket, but how would he get there without abandoning the girls? He packed some clothes to last a couple of days.

"Murray," said Sly. "Call Bentley. We're going to China."

"What," asked Murray, surprised.

"Carmelita has been gone for a week. Something's wrong."

"Ah yes," said Indigo. "I remember you telling me of the situation, Bandido. Did it ever occur to you that it's a trap?"

"Of course it's a trap," said Sly. "But I can't just let this 'bad guy' or 'girl' hold my wife hostage."

"As her father, I agree with you, Bandido." He placed a hand on his shoulder. "But he'll lure us one by one, if you let him."

"Or," Sly said. "He'll go after you while we're gone."

"Are you lacking faith in me, mapache?" Indigo frowned. "I've been taking on the ruffest cabrons since before you were born!"

"True, but we don't know what we're up against. We'll need to take you all with us."

"Bandido…" his eyes wide. " Mi hija will have your huevos for that!"

"Don't worry," said Sly. "I know a guy who can back us up."

"Who," asked Indigo.

"Yeah, who?" Murray asked.

"Our mutual friend in China…"

"Our mutual friend in…?" Murray's eyes widened. "You mean?"

Sly nodded. "Call Bentley. I'll get the girls ready." He left the living room to enter the kids' room.

"Who is this friend of yours," asked Indigo.

"He means the Panda King."

"That panda loco!" Indigo's eyes widened. " Dios mio! Didn't he kill his parents?"

"He's…reformed."

"You sound so certain of that," said Indigo, sarcasm in his voice.

"I am…it's just…weird…"

"Well, I'd love to see the look on mi hija's face when she hears that el estúpido bandido left her niñas with the guy who killed his parents."

"Yeah…" said Murray, awkwardly. "She's not gonna like that…"

Two hours later

The gang landed the van across the house of the Panda King. He saw them from his rocking chair, giving a small smile while he held his firework launcher. As the side door of the van opened, Indigo jumped out first. " Dios mio! I haven't been so cramped since that time I hid in the closet during my initiation in the police academy!"

Maria chuckled. "It was cheaper than the airplane, and the food was better."

Carmen came out, holding a doughnut ring with pink icing and sprinkles. "You can say that again, grandma." She took a bite from her treat as Sylvia jumped out after.

"We really ought to put you on a diet, Murray," said Bentley. He rolled out, holding a glazed doughnut.

"I've been running a few laps everyday," said Murray as he hopped out.

"A few laps around what, the sofa?" Indigo retorted.

Sly hopped out, walking over to his former rival. "Hey…"

"Greetings, Sly Cooper." The Panda King said, still in his rocking chair. "It has been years since we last saw each other."

"Yeah…listen, we need a favor."

"Which is…?"

"My…" Sly cleared his throat. "My wife is missing, and we need to leave my kids and their grandparents with you."

Panda King's eyes widened. " You are trusting me with your kids?"

" With their grandparents as back up, of course." Sly said.

"I see…and who is this wife of yours?" He looked at the children, then the grandparents.

"You see…"

"Wait…" Panda King smirked. "It is the Fox inspector who's been chasing you all these years."

Sly nodded. "That was…unexpected."

"I could see the resemblance in your family." He crossed his arms. "You never sent me a wedding invitation, and yet you ask me to watch them?"

"I didn't think you'd show," said Sly, defensively.

"Or you still haven't forgiven me."

"I thought you still hated me."

"Hmmph," said Panda King. "Why should I help you?"

"Do you really want to get into that?"

" There it is!" Panda King got up, pointing at the raccoon. "I knew you still held me a grudge!"

Sly sighed. "Please. I love my family…if anything has happened to Carmelita…I don't know what I'd do…"

Indigo walked over to the Panda. "Listen, cabron! My daughter is held somewhere, and if anything happens to her or mi familia, I will chop off your huevos and hang them on my wall!" He threatened, poking his finger in his chest.

"You dare threaten me in my home?" The Panda king looked like he was ready for a fight, but relaxed. "As a father myself, I know how you feel." He sighed. "Very well, Father of Mr. Fox. From one parent to another, I shall give you refuge."

" Gracious, senor King." Indigo nodded.

"Oh, and we have some doughnuts for you." Murray said.

Bentley rolled his eyes. "I don't think he-"

"Do you have any with sprinkles," asked Panda King.

"Yeah, a bunch!" He smiled.

"I am honored by your offering, family of Cooper and Fox." He said, bowing. "Please, come in. I shall fix you all some tea."

"Wait," said Bentley, grabbing a cotton swab. "Put this into your nose. I have to do a quick Covid test."

"I got tested yesterday," said Panda King. "They came back negative."

"Oh…that works…"

" Dios mio," said Indigo. "That tortuga is so paranoid!"

"We know,'' said Sly. "But at least we get free testing." He teased.

Everyone entered the house, taking their seats as they waited for their tea. When they got it, the Panda King sat across from Sly. "So, do you have any idea of where she might be?" He asked the raccoon.

Sly nodded. "I slipped a tracking device in her jacket. It says she's still in the mountains, just like the coordinates left for her."

"What coordinates," asked the panda.

Sly showed him a picture of it with his iPhone. "I had her send it to me, just in case. Some of the markings are alien, but…familiar."

"Wait," said the panda. "I've seen this before." He stood up. "I'll be right back." He went to his book shelf, grabbing a scroll. He came back with it, showing the markings similar in style, people made of crystal skeletons, and a cube.

"Wait… that's the cube that my ancestor stole! The one Clockwerk obsessed over!"

"Pardon?" The Panda King replied.

"Long story short," said Bentley. "Sly got lost in Ancient Egypt, where he met the first Cooper."

"Not quite the first Cooper, but the one who made the Thievius Raccoonus. Anyway, the cube in that picture corrupted Clockwerk, when he was still a regular great owl, and it almost corrupted Slytunkhamen."

Bentley look a look. "Wait, I recognize that cube. Penelope kept it!"

Sly's eyes widened. "Of course! It all makes sense!"

"Your father had it last. Back when he had his old gang." Panda King added.

"I remember Clockwerk's obsession with the cube and the first Cooper Vault. It was like Dr. M. All over again."

"You think the cube might've done something to either of them," asked Bentley.

"Or both. I don't know what went down."

"What is all this cube nonsense," asked Indigo.

"Do you know what that cube is," asked Sly.

The Panda King sighed. "Very little is known about it, but legend has it that there's a race of beings from outside our dimension watch over us. Some say they are guardians, while others say they are explorers…observers. These are known as the Gemabites."

"Gemabites," asked Sly.

"What does that have to do with mi hija," asked Indigo.

"There is a legend of a demon…a rogue, who travels to other worlds to cause chaos. Destruction. But the Gemabites sealed him in the cube and banished it in the void between dimensions."

"Maybe we're dealing with a rogue," said Maria.

"If he was banished in a void, then how'd he get here," asked Bentley.

"Like I said," said Panda King. "Little is known about them."

"Well," Sly stood up. "The gang and I need to investigate where Carmelita's last coordinates are. Can I trust you to protect my family?"

"I will protect them with my life," said the panda.

"You'd trust him with us," asked Indigo.

"That's what I have you for," replied Sly.

Dehkwihn was watching from the ruins of the lair in Krakarov volcano with a viewing portal. "Interesting…Well, he was right to bring them under his protection, but I've come prepared."

Carmelita was struggling to break out of her chains. "You won't get away with this! Just wait 'til I get out of these!"

Dehkwihn laughed. "Don't worry. They'll be joining us soon." He opened another portal, revealing Clockwerk. "My old friend. I have set the bait, but there's been a change in plan."

"What," asked Clockwerk.

He reveals the location of the family with the portal. "Capture the family, and Cooper will follow. Soon, you'll have your revenge." He closed the portal.

"Wait,'' said Carmelita. "You're working with Clockwerk?"

He turned to face her. "My girl, I made Clockwerk. I have been the driving force of every hardship your husband has ever faced."

Her eyes widened. "WHY?!"

"You'll know soon enough. For now, just enjoy the show.

———————————————

Sly was exploring the temple, following the tracker. He made it to where Carmelita was last, only to find the device sitting on the floor. Underneath it was a picture of the twins while they were at school, causing Sly's eyes to widen as he realized what was about to happen next. "Oh no!"

———————————————

Clockwerk landed on top of the roof of the Panda King's house. "Hello…old friend…"

The panda walked towards the metallic owl. "I see that you aren't dead. How?"

"Perfection cannot be killed," replied the owl.

"You are not perfection, you're an abomination."

"Surrender the family to me. There is no need to die for the children and inlaws of your enemy."

The Panda King looked back at the four, then back to the owl. "When we killed Cooper's parents, I said there was no honor in killing a defenseless child. I will not let you hurt these four." He turned back to the family. "Leave. Now!"

Indigo nodded before they took the back door.

"So…you've chosen weakness."

"No…I've chosen humility."

"Ha! I was already stronger than you before. Now, I have deflector shields and can repair myself at a faster rate."

"I have upgraded my fireworks! You revealing your upgrades was your last mistake!"

The Panda King jumped for his firework launcher, shooting a flash bomb at the metal bird, which made him go blind. He jumped on the owl's back, ripping his chassis open as he planted a bomb before jumping off. The explosion left a big hole, and as Clockwerk was fixing it, the panda shot fireworks at his head, putting more dents into the owl. 'So, he cannot simultaneously repair himself and hold his deflector shields,' he thought to himself. "Soon, you will bow before your master!" The panda shouted.

Clockwerk turned on the deflector shields, then he shot electric metal rings at his former gang member. The panda shot fireworks at the rings, dodging the robotic owl's beak as it charged him. He jumped on the bird's back again, planting more bombs into it's holes before jumping off as it took more damage. "Kneel before your better!"

Clockwerk activated the deflector shields once more. "I'll just have to kill you before I repair myself! You're running out of fireworks, old friend!"

The Panda King launched fireworks that turned into two dragons. "Feel the wrath of my twin drakes, metal bird!"

Clockwerk was able to deflect the fireworks shot at him from the dragons, and destroyed them with his rings before too long. However, he found that the panda had gotten on his back once again. He tried to bite him, but he caught his beak, force feeding him more bombs before jumping off one last time. The owl exploded, crashing into the ground before the panda finished it off with the last of his fireworks.

"It ca-ca-can't be! Clockwerk def-def-defeated by…!" Clockwerk said before shutting off.

The Panda King bowed. "I have succeeded in protecting Cooper's family." He said, before being knocked down by a powerful electric shock from behind.

Dehkwihn used telekinesis to pull the hate chip out, grabbing it. "The damage is mild." He fixed it, putting it back with his mind, which caused the owl to come back to life.

"Wha?" Clockwerk got up. "You?"

Dehkwihn tried repairing the bird, but he hardly fixed anything. "It can't be."

"What is it?"

"My powers. They're limited. I must be out of range."

"Out of range?"

"My powers and life force are bound to the cube that imprisoned me! Can you repair yourself?"

"It'll take a while."

Dehkwihn sighed. "Whatever, just go back to the Krakarov volcano! I'll take care of the family."

The bird nodded, flying back. Dehkwihn turned to the panda. "Did you get that?"

The Panda King regained consciousness before his eyes widened. "You! You're a Gemabite!"

Dehkwihn was stunned, but chuckled. "So, you know about my people?"

"Just what the tales hold…"

"Well, tell Cooper where I am." He made chains appear out of the ground, wrapping them around the panda. "Tell them I have his family."

Several minutes later

Sly, Bentley and I made it back to the Panda King, only to find him in chains and the house destroyed. The twins and Carmelita's parents were gone! The Panda King told us they were taken to the volcano we fought Clockwerk at, and that. HE'S BACK! After they discussed something about force fields and the gem guy's powers bound to a cube, Bentley came up with a plan, and a new invention. He also mentioned a teleporter for some reason, but as long as "The Murray" can crush skulls, I'm okay!

Two hours later, at the Krakarov volcano

Sly ran into the ruins of the lair, looking around for his family. He saw the five of them in chains, running towards them.

"Sly, no!" Carmelita cried, before Sly got trapped in chains himself by Dehkwihn's power.

Dehkwihn began laughing. "Welcome, son of Connor! I have been waiting for you."

"Who are you?!"

The crystal skeleton with the ram skull and navy blue tunic with specks of gold slowly walked forward to him. "My name is Dehkwihn. I am an explorer from a world far beyond yours."

"A Gemabite, right?!" Sly asked.

Dehkwihn chuckled. "Correct. The Panda King must've given you a little history lesson."

"Just about the cube, and a 'demon' that was banished!"

"Hmm," said the Gemabite. "Impressive. Would you care to know more?"

"Not really," retorted Sly. "I'd rather you let us all go!"

"Sorry, but I'm afraid that would be against the interest of our mutual friend."

Clockwerk appeared from the sky. "Sly Cooper! It's been too long."

"Not long enough," said Sly. "How'd you come back?"

"Tell her, vixen." Dehkwihn demanded.

"He says he 'made' Clockwerk!"

"What," asked Sly, shocked.

"Sly, right?" Dehkwihn asked, rhetorically. "I believe you two met over 3,000 years ago."

Sly's eyes dropped. "How'd you-"

"When he left your vault, he found an oasis, swelling with hate and envy. He regurgitated the cube I was in, releasing me. He told me about you, thus I deduced that you traveled through the sands of time. So, I 'suggested' that he wait for your birth and then…"

Sly's eyes widened, his teeth bared. " You had him kill my parents?!"

Dehkwihn chuckled. "Yes. I would've done it myself, but I was trapped again. Besides, my old friend beat me to it."

"And you corrupted Dr. M!"

"Smart boy," said Dehkwihn. "He was the only one smart enough to figure out that my old prison was the key to my defeat. I was amazed that he was able to resist my suggestion of him being 'second fiddle' to him for so long, until he sent me back."

"So that's where he got it from!"

Dehkwihn chuckled. "Putting him in charge of the Cooper Vault was a big mistake on Connor's part."

Sly was shocked. "...the deeds to the island."

"And when Penelope found my prison, all it took was an accidental drop and I introduced her to that skunk."

"And the Klaww Gang," asked Carmelita.

" That was an unexpected bonus," replied Dehkwihn.

"Why," asked Sly, furious with the Gemabite.

"My boy. I am the embodiment of chaos. Where my people desperately try to maintain order, I act as a counterbalance to that 'order'."

"You're a psychopath! You're no better than an arsonist!" Carmelita said.

"I'm not any worse than the ones who imprisoned me." Dehkwihn asserted.

"Why's that," asked Maria.

"For years I thought they banished me in the void between dimensions by mistake, as they would've killed me if I didn't attain immortality. But I think even they knew that everything washes up ashore, eventually."

"You think you coming here was on purpose," asked Indigo. "That's loco!"

"Is it," asked Dehkwihn, rhetorically. "Think about it. If I run amuck, they get to play the 'heroes'. You used to be a cop, and your daughter followed in your footsteps. Your justice system is dependent on maintaining crime, as well as ruining lives to keep their serfs."

"You think they planned for you to be free," asked Maria.

"My dear," said Dehkwihn. "Even the devil is a part of God's plan. Good cannot exist without evil. I'm just more honest."

" Mierda de toro!" Indigo shouted. "That's just something every killer and psycho gives!"

"I think our little chat is over," said Dehkwihn. "Now, son of Connor. Now that you have a family again, I shall allow my old friend to end them. First, your inlaws, your wife, then your children, and finally…you…"

"I killed your parents, Sly Cooper." Clockwerk said. "And now, I'll take your new family."

Suddenly, Clockwerk got blasted from behind, knocking him down. Murray jumped on his head, ripping it open. He grabbed the "hate chip" and crushed it, causing Clockwerk to turn to ash once again. "Ah yeah! 'The Murray' saves the day!"

"What?!" Dehkwihn shouted. "You'll pay for your insolence, hippo!"

Sly threw a rock at the Gemabite, apparently free.

"How?!"

"Something I'm adding to the Thievius Raccoonus." Sly stuck out his tongue.

"So, your tongue isn't just 'figuratively' sharp." Dehkwihn crossed his arms.

"What can I say?" Sly smirked. "I'm good with my tongue."

The adults of Sly's family groaned. Dehkwihn just put Sly back in chains with his fingers, adding a muzzle.

"I have to say," said Indigo with a smirk. "That's quite an improvement."

Sly growled with a muffle.

"Yes," said Dehkwihn. "Well, now I shall get back to-" he turned to face Murray, who was holding the cube. "What?! You distracted me!"

"Yep," muffled Sly.

It looks like things are back to normal b thanks to "The Murray"! I found out that I could control his movements with the cube, so I entertained the kids by making him dance. Bentley cut the fun short, though. He discovered that the gold railroad spikes in his head, fashioned as a crown, gave him his immortality. So, I used my strength to pull each of them out, so that when Bentley teleported to a volcano in the Atlantic Ocean, the gem guy and the cube got destroyed at the same time. We FINALLY got the guy trying to take my nieces! The girls and Carmelita's parents waited outside, while Sly was watching where he defeated Clockwerk years ago.

Sly was standing at the railing where he last fought Clockwerk, besides the Clock-La fiasco. Carmelita walked over to him, smiling. "Brings back memories, doesn't it?"

Sly smirked. "Yep. This is where I got the family book back and avenged my parents."

" And where we had our first kiss." She smiled seductively, getting closer to the Raccoon.

"Yep. I kinda felt bad about leaving you here." He smiled.

"Don't worry about it." She pulled him in for a passionate kiss, which made Sly feel like he was in heaven, until he felt himself being cuffed to the railing.

"Wha?"

"Not only are we even for that," she smirked. "But that's also for bringing the kids here!"

"But Carm, I-"

"Don't try to talk your way out of this, Cooper." She showed the key. "The cuffs require a magnetic key, so you can't pick the lock on those." She put the key in her pocket.

"Oh come on, Carm!" Sly said. "I had no choice!"

Carmelita walked over to Murray, handing him the key. "Wait one hour to give him this," she whispered. "Any sooner than that…I'll know." Murray nodded before she called for a helicopter as she walked outside the volcano.

"Where's Daddy," asked Sylvia.

"Daddy did something he wasn't supposed to do," said Carmelita. "So Mommy put him in 'time out'."

"I guess no one messes with Mommy," said Carmen with a smirk.

"Especially when it comes to her children," said Maria.

As they left on the helicopter, Sly kept pleading for Bentley and Murray to uncuff him. However, they were both too scared to do it before his hour was up, so they just stood there before playing cards as they waited. Sly wasn't amused by that, of course, but what could he do? He was free from the very thing that caused his misfortunes, but even after eight years of marriage, he was no match from the wrath of his wife.

Well, that's that. Except for the Epilogue. There was some influence from Rise of Skywalker in this fanfic, and Sly's tongue key was based on a movie lost to even Google, where a lesbian opens a padlock with her tongue. Lol Rate and Review.
