I think I might want to take a break from this story soon and get a start on Star Wars: Hyper Lethal Vector in the future. Don't get me wrong, I plan on finishing this story, but I've had this idea in my head for sometime now and have been experimenting with new ideas on how to write it, like 'how will I include the Covenant in the story and how will it impact the Clone War?', 'How will I change the fate of Jango Fett?' and 'should I have the UNSC contract a company to build a improved version of the old F-20?' That and I am still trying to decide on whether to give Noble Six two 20th/21st century handguns or an assault rifle combo like the one used in Scarface, the last one I asked in a previous chapter. I've got a few ideas, but if anyone has anything to add to those ideas, please do leave them in a review soon.
Now then, I had a great Birthday. I got to see my grandmother and some of my aunts and uncles, had some North End style pizza and cake and got a bit of cash. We had a party, since my grandma hasn't really been able to get out of her house for some time, plus she is almost one-hundred years old.
Anyway, it's time for another change to canon that I am sure all of you are going to love just as much as I will. Before anyone asks, Oscar will appear in Volume 5, so please be patient on his appearance.
Anyway, onto the reviews.
54godamora: Tyrians robotic arms are basically stolen Atlas tech, but not with a weapons function like Yangs.
Luffy L Deathwalker: I know I said that your OC would appear last chapter, but I was trying to figure out on how to bring him in. I was going to try and do it like Batman, but that isn't really like a Zorro based character. However, the mysterious figure that watched Weiss perform, it could have been him. You never know.
Monster King: Thanks.
Jack Smith1: Thanks, and I favorited your new story by the way. Do me a favor and include Captain Fordo and his unit, would you? Oh, and I forgot to ask, does your story start Rishi and will there be a chance that Hevy will survive?
Darth Cody: Qrow will appear, I'm taking a page out of a Tales of Berseria/RWBY crossover, but with a bit of a twist. Trust me, you'll love the twist.
Tetrabot: If you are referring to a two-thousand-year-old bounty hunter that can regenerate his body after fatal wounds, then I've decided to change my mind and have Maul's project be the 'upgrade' to the crazy Faunus killer we all hate or like.
Chaotic Skunk Demon: I'm glad your aunt was alright when 9/11 occurred. I don't know, but you might have just saved your aunt's life when you told her something bad was going to happen. Sounds like you have the description of the Faunus you'd want to be down pretty good. I do agree that Akatsuki is hilarious.
One song this chapter, and its 'Feel Invincible' by Skillet. One of my favorites.
Alright, time for the chapter. Disclaimers are the same as before.
Chapter 53: Punished
Weiss sat on her bed with her head held up right and glared at her father who paced in front of her, with a very swollen black eye. "Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. Do you have any idea what your stunt cost us? And don't think I'm just talking about Lien here! Our reputation! Our… Our…"
"'Our reputation?' Don't you mean 'your reputation'?" Weiss stated angrily as her father struggled to finish his sentence. "You can't fool me as easily as you did everyone else, father. That money wasn't going to Vale, it was going to your own personal account. You've never cared about anyone but yourself!"
"I beg your pardon!?" Jacque exclaimed.
"You heard me!" Weiss countered before taking a deep breath. "I don't want to stay here anymore. I don't want to stay in Atlas anymore! I'm leaving!"
"Young lady, I don't give a damn about what you want! This isn't about you. This is about the Schnee family name and your apparent insistence on dragging it through the mud!" Jacque stated angrily, completely unaware that Artoria, Hevy, Hardcase and Serra were standing outside Weiss's bedroom, listening to the conversation.
Weiss had taken enough of her fathers' words and stood up from her bed. "I have done nothing but fight to uphold the honor of my family name, a name that you married into!" she countered only to get a slap across her cheek, sending her to the side and getting her to gasp at her father's reaction. Putting her hand to cheek, Weiss glared at her father with a fire that she had never showed her father before, who was quick to speak in a calm and intimidating tone.
"This behavior of yours is incredibly disappointing. You couldn't possibly understand the lengths I've gone to in order to keep this family where it is. You think running off like your sister is going to make the Schnee name stronger? You're wrong. Siding with her only divides us." Jacque told Weiss.
"I'm not siding with anyone. I'm doing what I feel is right, and that does not include wasting time up here with these clueless people in Atlas. The Schnee family legacy isn't yours to leave. It's mine, and I'll do it as a Huntress." Weiss declared.
Jacque however had something else planned for his daughter. "No… you won't. You're not leaving Atlas. You're not to leave the manor grounds unless I specifically allow it. You are going to remain here, out of sight and out of trouble, until you and I come to an agreement on your future. Your presupposition that you can simply have whatever it is you want is a clear sign of our failure as parents. But from now on, I'll be giving you the full attention you require, starting by keeping you where I can see you." He countered.
"So, your plan is to keep me from leaving like I'm some sort of prisoner? Even if the staff will ensure it, people will ask questions! They'll want to know why the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company is suddenly nowhere to be found!" she spat back, only for her father to tell her that she was no longer to the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, completely stunning Weiss.
"Clearly, the trauma you endured at the fall of Beacon was too much for you. Which is why you've generously revoked your claim to the company and its earnings and passed it on to your brother Whitley. It's time to wake up and face reality." He added, before adding something he almost forgot about. "Oh, and if you think that your animal friend can help you, you're wrong. He is forbidden from ever seeing you again. Associating yourself with a terrorist is something a Schnee should never do."
However, Jacque was in for quite a surprise when he opened the door to Weiss's room and was greeted by the fists of Hardcase. "I think its time you take a few more poundings, bastard." Hardcase snarled before he sucker punched Jacque across the face and knocking him down the hall to where Hevy picked him up by the collar of his suit.
"How dare you attack me! Do you know who I am!?" he demanded.
"Yeah, I know who you are. You're just some money loving weasel who doesn't give a damn about anyone but yourself. All you care about is money and how much you can make, by any means necessary. I think you need another black eye!" Hevy snarled as well and dropped Jacque to the floor. "Come on! Hit me! Show me that you're the better man!" Hevy goaded.
Jacque was more than happy to oblige, thinking that Hevy and Hardcase were under Artoria's command and were new recruits. He was proven wrong when he tried to throw a punch at Hevy, only for Hevy to counter with a swift kick to Jacque's jewels, causing the man to squeal in pain so loudly, that Whitley heard it from a few doors down and smiled. Jacque's pain continued when Hevy twisted his arm and dislocated his shoulder, causing him even more pain. "How does that feel, huh? This is the same kind of pain that all those who died in your mines. It hurts doesn't it! I could easily break the rest of the bones in your body, but that's not the kind of trooper I am." He stated, finally letting go of Jacque's dislocated arm. "Go and get your fancy doctors to heal you. But don't forget that this is what happens when you mess with an ARC Trooper."
Jacque was about to retort when he spotted Hardcase approach him, cracking his knuckles before he backed off and left in pain, completely oblivious to Whitley who watched the whole thing. "That man didn't deserve death, but it sure felt good seeing him finally take a beating after all these years of abuse." He said with a chuckle.
"You are one devious kid; you know that right?" Hevy asked the Schnee boy.
"Perhaps, but I've never held any respect to that man, especially after what I just heard." Whitley answered.
"You mean you didn't know about this? You didn't want this to happen to me?" Weiss questioned as she joined the others.
"In another lifetime, I would say it's foolish not to do as Father asks. But after learning a bit more about myself and spending time down in Mantle, I've seen the bigger picture. Besides, the only one who is destined to lead the Schnee Dust Company is you, dear sister." Whitley told Weiss who's smile filled Weiss with hope. "That and I've learned a lot in the ways of the sword, thanks to Master Keto." He added.
"What do you mean?" Weiss asked.
"I'll tell you later. For now, I think you focus on your training. Your friends will need you and you appear to be a bit rusty." Whitley answered with a bit of a tease in his voice before he turned to Artoria and the two ARC Troopers. "Go and tell Arthur that the time will be approaching soon. Weiss Schnee will be a Huntress once again." Artoria smiled at Whitley before she and the two ARC Troopers left with her.
As for Weiss, she walked into her room and pulled the curtains shut, moved her bed several feet over, with the furniture askew as she collected her Rapier from its hiding place underneath her bed and began to train for her return to battle.
Back in the ruins of Oniyuri, Tyrian pulled his tail back as Galen stood between him and Ruby, the later of who along with the rest of Team RNJR, along with Rex and his brothers were completely shocked at Galen's surprise arrival. "As I live and breathe, Galen Marek, the Demon Lord. A true Jedi and Huntsman has entered the fray!" Tyrian said with excitement and a mock bow.
Galen glanced back at Ruby, who got back to her feet. "I don't know, this guy's weird." She said to her boyfriend.
"I'm only going to say this once, sleemo. Leave my girlfriend alone." Galen demanded, his hands ready draw his lightsabers at a moment's notice.
"Why, friend, my name is Tyrian. And I'm afraid that is not possible. My assignment from Her Grace was to retrieve the young girl. So, that is what I must do. One does not upset the Queen." Tyrian said with a chortle.
"Queen?" Ruby asked confused.
"Salem." Galen snarled.
"Who?" Ruby asked, even more confused.
Galen continued to glare at Tyrian. "Listen, Tyrian, is it? Go back to wherever the hell you came from and tell Salem it will be a cold day in hell when I let you take Ruby. Whatever she want's, she won't be getting Ruby. Not while I'm here."
"Oh, blah, blah, blah." Tyrian said annoyed, reaching for his own lightsaber behind his back. "I think we've had enough talk now, don't you?"
Tyrian was quick to assume a crouching position and prepared to lunge at Galen. However, he was surprised when one of the wrecked buildings collapsed on his droids as the Bad Batch and Boba arrived. "Well, this is going to be more fun than I had thought." He said before rushing towards Galen with his lightsaber ignited and at the ready.
(Feel Invincible starts)
Galen was quick to ignite his own lightsabers and block Tyrian's attack, slashing at his opponent only for them to jump and try to pierce his body as he lands. Galen dodged then swung his lightsabers at Tyrian only for Tyrian to back-flip away and rushed in towards Galen.
Tyrian ducked down to avoid an attack from Galen, only for the boy to leap aside and dodge his own attack, following up with another attack that he dodged by sliding underneath it before trying to attack Galen from behind. He was surprised when Galen lifted him up and threw him into an old building, right through both the walls of the structure.
"Oh, I am having so much fun now!" Tyrian exclaimed with excitement before firing several shots from his wrist guns through the openings. However, he didn't count on Galen leaping over the building and attacking him with a double strike from his blue blades.
"You sick, demented murdering freak! Is that why you joined Salem? To kill whoever, you want whenever you want? How many lives have you taken!?" Galen demanded, landing a strong kick into Tyrian's chest that sent him flying backwards into a larger building, which from the resulting shockwave damaged the building ever further.
"I kill for the Queen, that is my role." Tyrian replied sadistically.
"And you almost killed one Heather Shields, didn't you? Sorry to disappoint, but my companions and I were able to save her before she died from your poison. You're getting sloppy, bastard." Galen remarked, blasting Tyrian back with the force before he grabbed several lose rocks and sent them flying directly towards Tyrian.
Tyrian's smile turned into anger as he slashed the rocks with his lightsaber, only to find that Galen was now behind him and slashed at his back, draining his aura quite a bit. "You bastards interfered with my work! Now I'll enjoy killing you and your girlfriend will watch as you slowly die before her very eyes." Tyrian said angrily.
"That's. Not. Going. To. Happen." Galen spat, sending a charge of lightning towards Tyrian didn't react quick enough to dodge and took quite a jolt, dazing him long enough for Galen to dash in close enough and slash at Tyrian's chest, draining his Aura.
As the two continued to fight each other, Ruby took her scythe, secured it to her back and ignited her lightsaber before she dashed towards Tyrian, catching him off guard with strong Form V attack that destroyed one of his gauntlets. "Ruby! Stay…." Galen began but was cut off mid-sentence when he sensed that Tyrian was trying to use the venom in his tail to poison him.
"Do you wish to be taken!?" Tyrian asked the young girl.
"No! But I won't stand by and watch someone get hurt!" Ruby replied, determination filling her eyes as she slashed Tyrian's remaining gauntlet, destroying them for good.
"This is going to be even more fun!" Tyrian cackled, taking a slight glance at the droids he brought him that were being gunned down. This gave him an opening to swing his lightsaber at Ruby's leg, causing her aura to shimmer.
"Ruby!" Galen yelled and activated his semblance, transferring a part of his aura to Ruby who was feeling much better than before. This in turn gave Tyrian an opportunity to slash Galen across the chest, reducing Galen's aura to about thirty-three percent.
"What a fool! You should really focus on the battle instead of your companions." Tyrian spat, swing his saber wildly hoping that one of his attacks would end Galen for good. He was surprised when Galen blocked all his attacks and swung his sabers at his foe, followed by a blast from the force that slammed Tyrian straight into a building, knocking his aura down to zero.
"You're wrong about that. Ruby may have much to learn when it comes to the force and the ways of the Jedi, but she's a better person than you ever be!" Galen retorted and moved in for the kill. He could sense Tyrian's fear as he dashed in close enough and ended Tyrian's life with a slash across the chest. "That's for all the people you killed." Galen spat.
(End song)
"She'll… forgive… me…" Tyrian gasp with his last breath and fell to the ground, dead.
"Galen!" Ruby exclaimed as she rushed to his side. "Are you okay?"
"I'll be fine. That guy was a challenge though." Galen answered.
The others soon joined up with the two and began to ask questions about who Tyrian was, why he was after Ruby and who was this Salem person he mentioned. "Easy kids, one question at a time." Qrow said as he rushed towards his niece and her friends.
"Uncle Qrow!" What are you doing here? Were you following us all this time? What is going on?" Ruby asked.
Qrow breathed heavily and asked a question. "What's your favorite fairy tale?"
Ok, a short chapter this time around, but on the bright side, Tyrian is dead or is he?
Tell me what you think.
